Die Bücher von Handwerkskorporationen der Stadt Proszowiceaus dem 15. Jahrhundert. Ein Beitrag zur Forschung über die mittelalterlichen Schriftlichkeit
No full textIn his article, Karol Nabiałek is concerned with the documentation of craft guilds from
the city of Proszowice in the Kraków area (Małopolska or Lesser Poland). He examines two
manuscripts — the blacksmiths’ and the tailors’. Both books were probably started in the 1480s
and were kept through the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries. The appropriate method of dating
of such books must be based identifying the paper on which they are written. Nabiałek
has prepared codicological descriptions and carried out an overview of the contents of both
manuscripts. He has made an attempt to determine the status of these corporations. The blacksmiths’
manuscript was probably both a guild and a confraternity book. The tailors’ files
initially contained a list of members of the religious confraternity, and, from the sixteenth
century on, matters of the guild were entered in them. These manuscripts are rare examples
of extant landmark works of medieval writing of professional craft corporations preserved
in Poland

Get PDFArtykuł poświęcony jest problematyce prawnokarnej oceny klapsa. Klaps, pomimo wprowadze-nia ponad 10 lat temu do polskiego porządku prawnego zakazu stosowania kar cielesnych, nadal jest zachowaniem akceptowanym pośród części społeczeństwa. Biorąc pod uwagę stanowiska prze-ciwników oraz zwolenników stosowania tej metody wychowawczej, jak również normy prawa kar-nego, należy odpowiedzieć na pytanie, czy stosujący go opiekunowie będą ponosić bezwarunkową odpowiedzialność karną. Udzielenie tej odpowiedzi wymaga analizy zachowania stosującego klapsy z perspektywy modelu przestępstwa. Zachowanie stosującego klapsy wypełnia znamiona typu czynu zabronionego z art. 217 k.k., lecz w niektórych przypadkach może nie cechować się karygodnością (art. 1 § 2 k.k.) bądź jego sprawcy nie będzie można przypisać winy (art. 1 § 3 k.k.). Autor ocenia także dawanie klapsów z punktu widzenia kontratypu karcenia małoletnich oraz za-biera stanowisko w kwestii dopuszczalności posługiwania się kontratypami pozaustawowymi.Narodowe Centrum Nauk

No full textThe present study is focused on Tøgdrápa (Journey drápa), a poem Þórarinn devoted to
Knútr’s expedition to Norway in 1028. A distinguished feature of Tøgdrápa is its metre –
tøglag (journey metre). It differs from dróttkvætt by having four syllables (instead of six)
in each line. Presumably, referring to the title of the poem, the metre was to be used in accounts
on war expeditions, optionally other travels of the king. Tøglag seems to be especially
bound to Knútr’s court. Close metrical analysis of the poem as well as comparison with
Sigvatr Þórðarson’s Knútsdrápa suggests that, contrary to previous assumptions, it is very
likely that neither of the poets was an inventor of tøglag. Rather both, as talented and already
distinguished skalds, did not hesitate to take another artistic challenge, most likely put up
by somebody else. It seems reasonable to assume that such a challenge was born at Knútr’s
court, probably as a side effect of the king’s success in Norway in 1028
Językowe rytuały fatyczne w publikacjach edukacyjnych

addressed to children who learn to read, as well as to learners who
develop their knowledge about language. The aim of the analysis is
to answer the following questions: What linguistic phatic rituals are
present in the analysed texts? How can cognitive, linguistic and social
distance be minimalised or maximalised among the participants of an
educational discourse? A descriptive approach presented in this paper refers to linguistic and stylistic manners of forming a phatic community,
first of all in communication with children who learn to read
and with learners who can read on their own. The analysis intends
to indicate the means that serve to develop a phatic community and
to capture the characteristic features for the phatic rituals due to the
recipient’s status

Get PDFPandemiczna rzeczywistość panuje na całym globie już od blisko dwóch lat. Wpływa ona na wszystkie obszary działalności człowieka, jego kondycję fizyczną i psychiczną. Rozmaite przejawy tej nowej rzeczywistości skłaniają do refleksji naukowej, w tym też do zastanowienia się nad różnie rozumianą „nowością” w (glotto)dydaktyce polonistycznej. O tak ukierunkowaną refleksję poproszono badaczki i badaczy z polskich i zagranicznych ośrodków akademickich. Zgromadzone teksty tematycznie oscylują wokół dwu „nowości”, które stają się już – jak można sądzić – codziennością w środowisku (glotto)dydaktycznym. Jednym z nowych trendów jest obecność nurtu humanistyki ekologicznej w podręcznikach do nauczania polszczyzny – zarówno jako mowy ojczystej, jak i jako języka obcego. Ten nowy, kształtujący się od lat 90. ubiegłego wieku paradygmat naukowy, wyznaczył narzędzia analizowania treści podręcznikowych i wpłynął na perspektywę oglądu funkcji, jakie powinny realizować podręczniki językowe w zakresie uwrażliwienia uczących się na problemy ekologiczne.
Za drugą „nowość”, będącą tematem przewodnim kilku artykułów zamieszczonych w tym numerze, uznano kształcenie zdalne, które obecnie przestaje już być traktowane jako forma nadzwyczajna bądź zarezerwowana dla szczególnych typów kursów. Nagła konieczność szerokiego zastosowania narzędzi cyfrowych, znanych przecież w dydaktyce od lat, wpłynęła na działania i postawy zarówno nauczycieli, jak i uczniów.
Artykuły pomieszczone w niniejszym numerze zostały podzielone na trzy tematyczne sekcje. Znajduje się w nim też część Varia oraz Sprawozdanie

Instrumenty polityki bezpieczeństwa informacyjnego Białorusi

informacyjnego Republiki Białorusi, którą przeprowadzono w wymiarach strategicznym
i funkcjonalnym. Badaniami objęto przede wszystkim dokumenty
strategiczne odnoszące się do problematyki bezpieczeństwa informacyjnego
państwa białoruskiego. Proces badawczy uwzględniał zastosowanie analizy
zawartości dokumentów źródłowych. W wyniku jego realizacji ustalono, że
polityka bezpieczeństwa informacyjnego Białorusi realizowana jest jedynie
w wymiarze formalno-prawnym oraz instytucjonalnym. W zakresie polityki
bezpieczeństwa informacyjnego w Republice Białorusi podmiotowo traktowane
jest jedynie państwo, a pozostałe podmioty, tj. obywatel i społeczeństwo,
przedmiotowo
Spatio‑temporal calibration of Hargreaves-Samani model in the Northern Region of Nigeria
Get PDFOne of the significant components of the hydrological cycle is evapotranspiration. Monthly meteorological parameters of 35 years from 19 meteorological stations across the Northern Region of Nigeria (NRN) were obtained and utilized for the calibration of Hargreaves–Samani (HS) model by comparing between potential evapotranspiration (ETo) values estimated from the original HS and the Penman–Monteith (FAO-56 PM) models. The calibrated HS equation was assessed using trend patterns and some statistical indices. The average value of root mean square error (RMSE) and the mean absolute error (MAE) decreased by 37.1 and 40%, respectively, after the calibration of the model. Also, the correlation coefficients (R) of stations that had values > 0.8 increased from 6 to 11 and the minimum R value increased by 12% above that of the original HS equation. The trend and spatial map of the statistical tests conducted also indicate better performance in most climatic regions after calibration. The precision of the HS equation improved significantly after calibration for semi-arid, humid, and sub-humid regions. However, few stations in the semi-arid, humid, and sub-humid regions did not show drastic improvement due to the peculiarity of the location and high variations in the wind speed and relative humidity parameters
The Semantics of Morphological Conversion in Old English
Get PDFThe present article is an empirical, data-oriented study which focuses on the problem of morphological conversion and the way this mechanism was employed in Old English as a way of deriving new lexemes. The article briefly discusses the quantitative characteristics of the attested types, presents patterns of directionality and estimates the degree of availability of conversion in Old English grammar. The main part and purpose of the study, however, concerns the semantic characteristics of conversions sampled in the corpus. Drawing on the framework of semantic categories formulated by Clark and Clark (1979) and Plag (2003), the study aims to demonstrate semantic effects of the so-called zero-affix in Old English by looking into the relation that holds between the motivating base and the resultant derivative. Despite the fact that the availability of conversion was still quite limited in the Old English period, possibly due to numerous inflections that may have inhibited the transparency of this process, the study allows us to see how this process emerged and subsequently developed into one of the most productive word-formational techniques in the English language
