Statistical correlation analysis on indoor air high-priority pollutants in Spanish public primary schools [Dataset]
The project conducted presents a comprehensive assessment of indoor air quality in public primary schools across Madrid (Spain). Several classrooms have been monitored for a year, registering indoor air concentrations and outdoor ambient levels. Later, a statistical analysis has been performed to explore correlations between indoor air pollutant concentrations during occupied and unoccupied periods, as well as the impact of student activities and classroom operation, among other factors.
The dataset provides monitoring information of indoor and outdoor variables included in one file named as "Dataset_SchoolMonitoring.csv". Specifically, four Public Primary Schools were monitored in Madrid (Spain), registering indoor air quality data (from 2 to 3 classrooms per school) and outdoor air quality information from both punctual measurements and a local weather station close to the schools.Punctual monitoring measures were conducted during February, April, May, October and December in 2023.
Specifically, indoor variables monitored in the classrooms are refered to:
- TVOC (ppb)
- Ultrafine PM (from 0.02 to 1 μm) (part./cm3)
- PM0.3 (part./cm3and μg/m3)
- PM1 (part./cm3 and μg/m3)
- PM2.5 (part./cm3 and μg/m3)
- CO2 (ppm)
- Temperature (ºC)
- Relative Humidity (%)
- Formaldehyde (µg/m3)
Also, punctual outdoor measurements of the aforementioned parameters have been also included in the dataset. Additionally, outdoor variables recorded in a local weather station have also been incorporated into the dataset:
- Wind speed (m/s)
- Wind direction (º)
- Outdoor temperature (ºC)
- Outdoor Relative humidity (%)
- Atmospheric pressure (mb)
- Solar Radiation (W/m2)
- Rain (l/m2)
- NO (µg/m3)
- NO2 (µg/m3)
- PM10 (µg/m3)
- Nox (µg/m3)
- O3 (µg/m3)
Furthermore, indoor students interaction and classroom operation aspects are incorporated into the study through several variables, which are assigned two possible values: 1 means "Open, ON, Considered"; while 0 means "Closed, OFF, None":
- Door opening (1/0)
- Window opening (1/0)
- Artificial lights operation (1/0)
- Students’ interaction (Activity) (1/0)
- VOC emissions (Materials) (1/0)
- PM emissions (1/0)
- Technological devices (1/0)
A more detail description of each variable may be found in the paper referenced in the Related publication section.Punctual measurements were taken with several monitoring equipment (DRÄGER X-pid
9500, Particle counter PCE-PQC 12EU, P-Track Ultrafine 8525 TSI and DIOXCARE DX75 sensors) of the variables described in 4. Description of the dataset. After downloading the data from the sensors, the monitored information was processed and compiled to create a .csv file using the open access .R software v. 4.3.3.
Any tool which may read .csv files may be used to open the file (Notepad, Excel, .R or similar). This dataset was conducted under the Research Project: "Lime4Health. Analysis of the contribution of lime coatings to the achievement of healthy interior spaces" (PID2021-123023OA-I00) funded by the MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033/and FEDER “Una manera de hacer Europa. This research assesses the effectivity of altering indoor coatings in the reduction and or elimination of indoor pollutants, as a stand-alone action and in combination with modifying users’habits.

Sample of covid-19 similes from English and Spanish digital media 2020
The project’s main aim is to explore the discursive functions of similes used to communicate the fist waves of Covid-19 pandemic in digital newspapers in 2020.
The dataset includes 200 news items (100 English and 100 Spanish) containing both the string ‘TARGET is like SOURCE’ where virus or coronavirus is either the target, that is, the concept that is described (‘(CORONA)VIRUS is like X’), or the source, i.e. the concept that lends its properties for another, usually more abstract, one (‘X is like A VIRUS’). </p
Trafalgar Neo4j Database
The dataset is part of the project: GRESEL-UAM: About GRESEL: AI Generation Results Enriched with Simplified Explanations Based on Linguistic Features (Resultados de Generación de IA Enriquecidos con Explicaciones Simplificadas Basadas en Características Lingüísticas).
This dataset is part of the publication titled "Assessing a Literary RAG System with a Human-Evaluated Synthetic QA Dataset Generated by an LLM: Experiments with Knowledge Graphs," which will be presented in September 2025 in Zaragoza, within the framework of the conference of the Sociedad Española para el Procesamiento del Lenguaje Natural (SEPLN). The work has already been accepted for publication in SEPLN’s official journal, Procesamiento del Lenguaje Natural.
This dataset consists of the Trafalgar knowledge graph database, based on the novel by Benito Pérez Galdós and implemented in Neo4j. This database is used in the RAG experiments presented in the publication. As a Knowledge Graph (KG), it offers several advantages over conventional RAG approaches (which are explored in the paper). The database structures the text of the novel and links elements such as paragraphs and chapters, as well as named entities like character names, places, and ships. More information about its creation and structure can be found in the methodology section.
This is a neo4j.dump file, which contains an export of the Trafalgar database. This file can be used to replicate the database used in the experiments described in the paper.</p
Results of an evaluation of students' emotions using augmented reality and artificial intelligence
A study was conducted with students using an augmented reality tool called DARA. In this study, students' emotions were collected using both instruments: questionnaire and the Emolive tool. Emolive is a tool that detects emotions through facial recognition.
The dataset shows the emotions collected by Emolive and AEQ questionnaire

Sample of Australian cultural elements identified in the tv series Bluey (July 2024)
The project’s main aim is to identify the cultural and societal facets of Australia depicted in the TV show Bluey, with the aim of assessing its pedagogical value in teaching English to non-native learners within the context of primary education.
The corpus selected for the analysis derives from a form in English completed by thirty observers, all of them students enrolled in the Degree in Primary Education (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain). They analysed 52 episodes of the first season of Bluey. </p

Prosodic skills in Spanish-speaking adolescents and young adults with Down syndrome. Data set.
Dataset used in the following study: López-Riobóo, E., & Martínez-Castilla, P. (2024). Prosodic skills in Spanish-speaking adolescents and young adults with Down syndrome. International Journal of Language and Communication Disorders, 59(4), 1284-1295. https://doi.org/10.1111/1460-6984.13001
The study examined prosodic perception and production in Spanish-speaking adolescents and young adults with Down syndrome using the PEPS-C test. Compared with peers with other intellectual disabilities maatched on chronologial age and nonverbal cognition, the DS group showed significantly poorer performance on most prosodic tasks, except for emotional prosody, where results were comparable. The findings suggest that a generalization about a better profile in comprehension versus production is not possible
