Supply Regulation of the Compressors in Maritime Refrigeration Device
No full textKompresor je najsloženiji i najskuplji dio u rashladnom sustavu na brodu, te je on predmet ovog rada. Kompresor komprimira neki plin ili paru na viši tlak, odnosno plinovima ili parama povisuje energetsku razinu. U brodskoj rashladnoj tehnici uglavnom se koriste četiri vrste kompresora, a to su stapni, vijčani, rotacijski i turbokompresor. Iako se najviše upotrebljavaju stapni kompresori, u novije vrijeme se sve više nastoje ugraditi vijčani kompresori zbog njihove manje osjetljivosti na hidraulični udar. U prvom dijelu rada upoznajemo se s rahladnom tehnikom općenito i s ljevokretnim rashladnim ciklusom. U drugom dijelu rada govorimo o regulaciji dobave stapnih, klipnih, vijčanih i turbokompresora, i na kraju rada ćemo obraditi temu o dijagnostici i održavanju kompresora.The compressor is the most complex and expensive part of the ship's refrigeration system, and it is the subject of this paper. The compressor compresses a gas or steam to a higher pressure, or raises the energy level with gases or vapors. Four types of compressors are mainly used in marine refrigeration technology, namely rod, screw, rotary and turbocharger. Although reciprocating compressors are the most widely used, in recent times more and more efforts are being made to install screw compressors due to their lower sensitivity to hydraulic shock. The first part of the paper we are introduced to the cooling technology generally and to the counterclockwise cooling cycle. In the second part of the paper, we talk about the regulation of the supply of rod, piston, screw and turbo compressors, and at the end of the paper we will cover the topic of diagnostics and maintenance of the compressors
"Humor as medicine in the age of pandemic disease COVID-19"
No full textUvod: Humor je zajednički naziv za verbalne, pisane i crtane iznesene sadržaje koji izazivaju smijeh i dobro raspoloženje; ali je ujedno humor definiran i kao svojstvo osobnosti koja se očituje u duhovitosti. Humor, kao važna značajka za naše zdravlje utječe kako na fizičko tako i na mentalno zdravlje. Pomaže nam u obrani od stresa i negativnog raspoloženja. Pandemija koronavirusa unijela je razne promjene u gotovo svaki životni aspekt ljudske svakodnevnice pa tako ni društvene mreže nisu bile izostavljene. Svi su htjeli znati sve o novonastalom virusu i bolesti koja nastaje zbog njega, a stručnjaci i znanstvenici nisu imali odgovore na pitanja koja je postavljala uplašena javnost.
Cilj rada: Istražiti kako je humor djelovao na ispitanike u doba pandemije COVID-19 tijekom karantene. Ispitivanje njegove funkcije kao zabave, lijeka i općenito podnošenja pandemije COVID-19 te iste te rezultate prikazati statistički i opisno u ovome radu.
Ispitanici i metode: U istraživanju putem online ankete sudjelovala je 103 ispitanika dobnih skupina između 20 i 50 godina. Obuhvaćeni su studenti Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku, zaposlenici Opće bolnice Dubrovnik te Doma zdravlja Dubrovnik. Anketni upitnik sastojao se od desetak pitanja. Pitanja su obuhvaćala: spol, dob, stručnu spremu, koliki je strah od zaraze na skali od 1 do 10 te utjecaj humorističkih sadržaja na temu pandemije bolesti COVID-19.
Rezultati: Rezultati istraživanja pokazalo da je čak 70,9% ispitanika izjavilo da im je uz humoristični sadržaj vrijeme brže prolazilo. Sljedećih 39,8% ispitanika su poboljšali komunikaciju s ukućanima, a 33% ispitanika je poboljšalo komunikaciju s prijateljima.
Rasprava: Dobiveni podaci ovog istraživanja pokazuju kako je COVID-19 i karantena utjecala na živote ljudi svih dobnih skupina.
Potrebno je istaknuti da su slične teme općenito slabo obrađivane, te su aktualna literatura i slična istraživanja bila teško dostupna.
Zaključak: Humor je zaista lijek ne samo u teškim duševnim trenutcima, već i pogodno djeluje na fizičko zdravlje ljudi. Ponašao se kao anksiolitik, a moglo bi se reći čak kao i sedativ u nekim
slučajevima. Zaključak je da se humor pokazao kao lijek u doba krize navedene pandemije koronavirusa.Introduction: Humor is a common name for verbal, written and cartoon content that causes laughter and good mood; but at the same time, humor is also defined as a personality trait that manifests itself in wit. Humor, as an important feature for our health, affects both physical and mental health. It helps us defend against stress and negative mood. The coronavirus pandemic has brought various changes to almost every aspect of human daily life, so even social networks were not left out. Everyone wanted to know everything about the new virus and the disease caused by it, and experts and scientists did not have answers to the questions asked by the frightened public.
Objective: To investigate how humor affected the respondents in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic during the quarantine. Examining its function as entertainment, medicine and in general coping with the COVID-19 pandemic and presenting the same results statistically and descriptively in this paper.
Respondents and methods: 103 respondents aged between 20 and 50 participated in the research via an online survey. Students of the University of Dubrovnik, employees of the Dubrovnik General Hospital and the Dubrovnik Health Center are included. The questionnaire consisted of ten questions. The questions included: gender, age, professional qualification, how much fear is there of infection on a scale of 1 to 10, and the impact of humorous content on the topic of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Results: The results of the research showed that as many as 70.9% of respondents stated that with humorous content, time passed faster. The next 39.8% of respondents improved communication with family members, and 33% of respondents improved communication with friends.
Discussion: The data obtained from this research show how COVID-19 and the quarantine have affected the lives of people of all age groups.
It should be pointed out that similar topics are generally poorly covered, and current literature and similar research were difficult to access.
Conclusion: Humor is really a medicine not only in difficult mental moments, but also has a beneficial effect on people's physical health. It behaved as an anxiolytic, and it could even be said as a sedative in some cases. The conclusion is that humor proved to be a medicine during the crisis of the mentioned coronavirus pandemic
Fire Fighting Equipment on Passenger Ships
No full textU ovom završnom radu opisane su metode zaštite od požara na putničkim brodovima koje se odnose na sprječavanje požara, njegovo otkrivanje, te gašenje. S obzirom na specifične karakteristike putničkih brodova i mogućnosti nastanka razornih posljedica uzrokovanih požarom, a koje uključuju štete na brodu, teretu i ekosustavu, te velike gubitke ljudskih života, zahtjevu zaštite od požara kao važnom čimbeniku sigurnosti broda potrebno je udovoljiti prilikom samog dizajna broda. S vremenom su definirani zahtjevi koji se stalno nadopunjuju i ažuriraju na temelju novih spoznaja i saznanja kojim putnički brodovi moraju udovoljavati. Ti su zahtjevi propisani SOLAS konvencijom a sastoje se od skupa pravila o zaštiti od požara, njegovog otkrivanja i gašenja.This final paper describes fire protection methods on passenger ships related to preventing, detecting and extinguishing fires. Considering the specifics of passenger ships and the possibility of devastating consequences caused by fire, which include damage to the ship, cargo and ecosystem, as well as loss of human life, the requirement of fire protection as an important factor of ship safety must be met during the design of the ship itself. Therefore, over time, requirements have been defined that are constantly supplemented and updated based on new knowledge and findings that passenger ships must meet. These requirements are prescribed by the SOLAS convention and consist of a set of fire protection rules, detection and extinguishing
Capital Adequacy in Modern Banking

Kontinuirano praćenje zdravlja bankarskog sektora ključni je dio procjene stabilnosti nacionalnih financijskih sustava. Države članice Europske unije provode različite politike kojima nastoje ograničiti potencijalne rizike. Gotovo svi regulatorni zahtjevi uključuju osiguranje više kapitala, tj. jačanje kapitalne osnovice banke. Cilj rada jest razmotriti pitanje financijske stabilnosti i adekvatnosti kapitala u sektoru bankarstva te analizirati kapitaliziranost hrvatskih banaka i europskih banaka. Analiza je pokazala da su europske banke nastavile graditi solidnu poziciju kapitala i jačanja imovine, što je rezultiralo otpornošću bankarskog sektora.The financial stability of the banking sector reduces the possibility of insolvency in the future. Continuous monitoring of the health of the banking sector is a key part of assessing the stability of national financial systems. The Member States of the European Union pursue various policies that seek to limit potential risks. Almost all regulatory requirements include ensuring more capital, ie strengthening the bank's capital base. The aim of this paper is to consider the issue of financial stability and capital adequacy in the banking sector and to analyze the capitalization of Croatian banks and European banks. Digital Technologies Usage in the Automotive Industry
No full textOvim radom se nastoji dokazati važnost implementacije digitalnih tehnologija u modernom poslovanju. Rad je podijeljen na nekoliko cjelina. Prva cjelina ili uvodni dio opisiva i nabraja svrhu i općenito koje se digitalne tehnologije koriste u modernom poslovanju. Druga cjelina objašnjava razliku između tradicionalnog i digitalnog poslovanja. Treća cjelina predstavlja što su to digitalne tehnologije i koje koristimo za današnje poslovanje te koje su to prednosti, mane i nedostaci uporabe digitalnih tehnologija. Četvrta cjelina govori o procesu digitalne transformacije poslovanja sa tradicionalnog pristupa prema digitalnom pomoću uporabe i implementacije digitalnih tehnologija u tradicionalno poslovanje. Peta cjelina predstavlja glavni dio rada ili temu samog diplomskog rada, to jest upotrebu digitalne tehnologije u automobilskoj industriji. U toj temi su predstavljene sve tehnologije koje se koriste pri proizvodnji automobila te koje se tehnologije mogu pronaći u samome automobilu. Za studiju slučaja uzet je primjer poduzeća Tesla Motors, trenutnog lidera na tržištu električnih automobila i najnovije tehnologije u industriji. Zadnji dio je zaključak koji govori o temeljnim činjenicama i zaključcima iz cijele priče te isplati li se uvoditi nove tehnologije u poslovanje.This paper tries to prove the importance of implementing digital technologies in modern business. The work is divided into several parts. The first part or the introductory part is descriptive and lists the purpose and in general which digital technologies are used in modern business. The second unit explains the difference between traditional and digital business. The third unit presents what digital technologies are and which we use for today's business, and what are the advantages and disadvantages of using digital technologies. The fourth unit talks about the process of digital transformation of business from a traditional approach to a digital one through the use and implementation of digital technologies in traditional business. The fifth unit represents the main part of the work or the topic of the thesis itself, that is, the use of digital technology in the automotive industry. In this topic, all the technologies used in the production of cars and which technologies can be found in the car itself are presented. For the case study, the example of the company Tesla Motors, the current leader in the market of electric cars and the latest technology in the industry was taken. The last part is the conclusion that talks about the basic facts and conclusions from the whole story and whether it is worthwhile to introduce new technologies in business
Exploring the Students' Attitudes Towards Green Marketing
No full textNajveći utjecaj na razvoj koncepta zelenog marketinga i njegovu primjenu u praksi imala je društvena i okolišna odgovornost. Odnos prakse razvoja i oglašavanja proizvoda na temelju njihove percipirane ili stvarne ekološke održivosti naziva se Zeleni marketing.
Predmet rada je istraživanje stavova studenata o primjeni Zelenog marketinga, dok je svrha rada definiranje glavnih pojmova koji su povezanih sa zelenim marketingom, kao i predstavljanje ekološkog i održivog pristupa poslovanju.
Na osnovi samog problema rada, konstruira se svrha i cilj rada, a ta je prikazati stavove mladih o primjeni zelenog marketinga.
Da bi se kreirao kvalitetan proizvod na tržištu u svim uvijetima poslovanja prioritetno mjesto ima okoliš, briga o okolišu a sve to da bi se spriječio loš utjecaj na okoliš. Utemeljeno samim rezultatima istraživanja vidljivo je da potrošači razumiju izazove koji se trenutačno postavljaju pred okoliš i da su ekološki osviješteni, iako još uvijek dio nije aktivan eko potrošač.Social and environmental responsibility had the greatest influence on the development of the concept of green marketing and its application in practice. The relationship between the practice of developing and advertising products based on their perceived or actual environmental sustainability is called Green Marketing.
The subject of the paper is the research of students' views on the application of Green Marketing, while the purpose of the paper is to define the main concepts related to Green Marketing, as well as to present an ecological and sustainable approach to business.
On the basis of the problem of work itself, the purpose and goal of the work is constructed, and this is a presentation of young people's views on the application of green marketing.
In order to create a quality product on the market in all business conditions, priority is given to the environment, care for the environment, and all this in order to prevent a bad impact on the environment. prometu, stoga i ne čudi izuzetna važnost luka za razvoj svjetskog gospodarstva. Luke za suhe
rasute teret danas imaju funkciju logističkih centara u kojima se odvija cjelokupna briga o
teretima. Uz osnovne karakteristike tereta koji prolaze kroz ove luke kao i opis brodova za
prijevoz suhih rasutih tereta i njihovu evolucija, u ovom radu naglasak je stavljen na
tehnologiju ovih luka i izazove koje nove tehnologije donose. Budući da se brodovi puno lakše
prilagođavaju novim zahtjevima u odnosu na luke, dat je osvrt na nove izazove i trendove koji
stoji pred daljnjim razvojem ovih luka. Na kraju rada razrađena je problematika oko zagađenja
u ovim lukama, zbrinjavanje otpada i utjecaj novih zahtjeva i trendova koje nosi tzv. zelena
logistika, kao i planove i ciljeve Međunarodne pomorske organizacije kroz donošenje
regulativnih rješenja s ciljem očuvanja okoliša.Dry bulk transport by sea has a considerable share in the total world trade of goods, so it is
not surprising that ports are essential for developing the world economy. Nowadays, ports for
dry bulk cargo have more of a function of logistics centres where the entire care of cargo takes
place. In addition to the basic characteristics of cargo passing through these ports and the
description of dry bulk carriers and their evolution, the emphasis is placed on the technology
of these ports and the challenges that new technologies bring. As ships are much easier to adapt
to new requirements than ports, a review of the new challenges and trends facing the further
development of these ports is given. At the end of this paper, the issue of pollution in these
ports, waste disposal, and the impact of new requirements and trends caused by the so-called
green logistics, as well as the plan and goals of the International Maritime Organisation through
the adoption of regulatory solutions aimed at preserving the environment are presented

Mrežno sjedište je vrlo bitno za moderne tvrtke jer potencijalni klijenti često na internetu traže čije usluge odabrati. U radu se prikazuje kompletan proces izrade mrežnog središta od obrade korisničkih zahtjeva i dizajniranja cijelog sustava do izrade krajnje verzije, a detaljno su opisane i karakteristike korištenih tehnologija. Na kraju dokumenta se nalaze detalji implementacije javnog dijela sjedišta koje korisnik posjećuje, kao i sustav za upravljanje sadržajem iz kojeg administrator uređuje sadržaj i dodaje novi.In this final assignment, the process of design and creation of a website for an architectural studio with belonging content management system is described. A website is very important for modern companies because potential clients often use the internet to find whose services they should choose. This paper presents the entire process of creation of the website from processing of user demands and designing the whole system to the creation of the final version will be shown. The characteristics of the used technologies are also described in detail. At the end of the paper are details of implementation of the public site which the users visit, as well as the content management system through which the administrator edits the content and adds the new one
"Incidence and predictors of depression in the elderly"
No full textKako je depresija osoba starije životne dobi zbog svojih posljedica postala važan
javnozdravstveni problem postala je tema na koju je proizvedeno puno literature koja je
značajno pridonijela boljem uvidu u poremećaje koji se javljaju kod starijih osoba.
Pojasniti ćemo na što se zapravo osoba kao pojedinac mora usmjeriti da bi sačuvala svoje
mentalno zdravlje te koji su zapravo postupci zdravstva i zajednice kako bi pomogli te
pravovremeno prepoznali znakove depresije. Da bi potkrijepili literaturu proveden je anonimni
anketni upitnik na području Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije u kojem je sudjelovalo 86 osoba
starije životne dobi. U radu će biti prikazano što točno znači starost a što starenje te definicija
i podjela depresije, te prikazani rezultati anketnog upitnika.As depression of the elderly due to its consequences has become an important public health
problem, it has become a topic on which a lot of literature has been produced that has
significantly contributed to a better insight into the disorders of the elderly.
We will explain what a person as an individual must focus on in order to maintain their mental
health and what are the actions of health and community to help and recognize the signs of
depression in a timely manner. In order to substantiate the literature, an anonymous
questionnaire was conducted in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, in which 86 elderly people
participated. The paper will show what exactly age means and what aging, as well as the
definition and division of depression, and at the end the results of the survey questionnaire will
be presented

Iako digitalno poslovanje ima brojne prednosti ono sa sobom pridonosi i ozbiljnije prijetnje s kojima su izložene organizacije i njihovi informacijski sustavi koji se u današnje vrijeme suočavaju sa sve većim rizikom i nesigurnostima iz različitih izvora. Ovaj rad za ulogu ima pridonijeti uvid u digitalno poslovanje i njegovu primjenu u zdravstvenom poslovanju. Organizacije ulažu velike svote novca u digitalno poslovanje kako bi postali lideri na tržištu odnosno stekli konkurentsku prednost i smanjili tekuće troškove poslovanja.Nowadays, terms digital economy and digital technology are used in almost all business activities due to many advantages they offer to their users.
