SUBSTANCES THAT PRODUCE DANGEROUS GASES IN CONTACT WITH WATER
Manipulacija kemikalijama jedna je od najopasnijih djelatnosti u mnogim industrijama,
uključujući proizvodnju, preradu i skladištenje kemikalija. U dodiru s vodom, neke tvari
mogu proizvesti plinove koji su opasni za zdravlje ljudi i okoliš. Ovi plinovi mogu biti
otrovni, zapaljivi, eksplozivni ili reaktivni, što predstavlja velik rizik za radnike koji rade s
tim tvarima, kao i za okoliš. U ovom završnom radu biti će razmatrane različite tvari koje
mogu proizvesti opasne plinove u dodiru s vodom, uključujući kiseline, lužine, metale i
druge kemikalije.
Ovaj rad ima za cilj podići svijest o opasnostima koje se mogu pojaviti u manipulaciji
kemikalijama i pomoći u smanjenju rizika od proizvodnje opasnih plinova.Chemical handling is one of the most dangerous activities in many industries, including the
production, processing and storage of chemicals. In contact with water, some substances can
produce gases that are dangerous for human health and the environment. These gases can be toxic,
flammable, explosive or reactive, which poses a great risk to workers who work with these
substances, as well as to the environment. This final paper will consider various substances that
can produce dangerous gases in contact with water, including acids, bases, metals and other
chemicals.
This work aims to raise awareness of the dangers that can arise in the manipulation of chemicals
and help reduce the risk of producing dangerous gases
CONTROLLING A ROBOTIC ARM PROTOTYPE USING A MOBILE APPLICATION
U ovom završnom radu biti će opisana izrada robotske ruke kojom se može upravljati
preko Bluetootha ili potenciometara. Ova robotska ruka može se koristiti u edukacijske
svrhe, za učenje programiranja, učenje 3D modeliranja te korištenje aditivnih
tehnologija (3D printanja). Cilj ovog završnog rada je steći praktično iskustvo pomoću
znanja stečenog tijekom obrazovanja.In this undergraduate thesis, the creation of a robotic arm that can be controlled via
Bluetooth or potentiometers will be described. This robotic arm can be used for
educational purposes, for learning programming, learning 3D modeling, and using
additive technologies (3D printing). This undergraduate thesis aims to gain practical
experience using the knowledge acquired during engineering education
PROPERTY INSURANCE AND ANALYSIS OF PROPERTY INSURANCE PRODUCTS ON EXAMPLES OF CROATIA INSURANCE AND WIENER INSURANCE
Glavna svrha osiguranja zaštita je života i imovine od rizika, iz čega proizlazi
da je osiguranje važno za očuvanje ekonomske stabilnosti prvenstveno pojedinca, ali
i čitavog društva. Od tuda i potječu dvije temeljne podjele definicije osiguranja odnosno
osiguranje se definira sa stajališta pojedinca te s motrišta društva. Osiguranje sa
stajališta pojedinca instrument je kojima pojedinac zamjenjuje premiju osiguranja za
veliki neizvjestan financijski gubitak do kojeg bi došlo kada ne bi bilo osiguranja, dok
je osiguranje s motrišta društva instrument za smanjivanje i uklanjanje rizika procesom
kombiniranja dovoljnog broja izlaganja istovjetnim rizicima, da bi se mogli predvidjeti
gubitci za promatranu skupinu kao cjelinu.
Tema ovog završnog rada je imovinsko osiguranje koje spada u skupinu
neživotnih osiguranja i kojemu je osnovna svrha zaštita imovine ugovaratelja od
raznih rizika kojima je imovina izložena. Ovo osiguranje podrazumijeva osiguranje od
požara i elementarnih šteta, koje pokriva štetu na stvarima uslijed djelovanja vatre,
oluje, elementarnih nepogoda, te ostalo osiguranje imovine koje pokrivaju štetu na
stvarima koja nastane uslijed tuče ili smrzavanja, krađe ili razbojstva, kao i drugih
djelovanja.
Kroz ovaj završni rad obrađeni su primjeri polica imovinskog osiguranja
konkurentskih osiguravajućih društava na tržištu osiguranja u Republici Hrvatskoj i to
Croatia osiguranja i Wiener osiguranja, Vienna Insurance Group d.d. Usporedbom
polica ovih dvaju osiguravajućih društava utvrđeni su uvjeti osiguranja svakog
pojedinog osiguravatelja, a iz koje usporedbe proizlazi da su uvjeti jednog i drugog
osiguravatelja vrlo slični i da su uvelike prilagođeni individualnim potrebama i željama
osiguranika. Premija predmetnih osiguranja formirana je na temelju sljedećih faktora;
vrsti izgradnje, površini i stanju objekta, lokaciji i broju rizika od kojih se osigurava, te
u vremenu trajanja osiguranja.The main purpose of an insurance is the protection of life and property from risk.
Consequently, it can be said that insurance is important to preserve the economic
stability not only of an individual but also of the whole society. Two main definitions of
an insurance stem thereof – insurance is defined from the position of an individual and
from the position of society. Insurance from the position of an individual is an
instrument in which the individual replaces the insurance premium for a big uncertain
financial loss, which would occur if there were no insurance, whereas the insurance
from the position of society is an instrument for lessening and removing the risk
through a sufficient amount of exposure to identical risks in order to predict losses for
the control group as a whole.
Topic of this final paper is property insurance which belongs to non-life insurance
group and to whom basic purpose is protection of the property of the contractor from
all types of risks to which it is exposed. This type of insurance and insurance from
natural disasters, that covers property damage caused by fire, storm, natural disasters,
and also property insurance that covers property damage caused by hail or freezing,
theft or robbery and other actions.
Through this final paper examples of insurance policies of competitive insurance
companies on insurance market in Croatia insurance and Wiener insurance Vienna
Insurance Group d.d. were processed. By comparing these two policies, insurance
conditions of each individual insurer were determined. From that comparison arises
that the conditions of both insurers are very similar and that they are largely adapted
to the individual needs and wishes of the insured. Premium of insurances that have
subject of insurance is formed on the basis of the following factors: construction type,
floor space and condition of object (building), location and number of risks from which
it is insured against and by duration of the insurance
AN ENTREPRENEURIAL PROJECT BASED ON THE EXAMPLE OF OPTICS
Završni rad pisan je na temu poduzetničkog projekta optike „Fokus“. U teorijskom dijelu je
objašnjen pojam poduzetnika, poduzetništva, vrste poduzetništva i njegov smisao. U radu su
napisani podaci o vlasnicima optike, lokaciji na kojoj se optika nalazi i njene pojedinosti.
Navedeni su zaposlenici koji su potrebni kako bi optika mogla raditi i prodavati svoje
proizvode i usluge stalnim, ali i potencijalnim kupcima. Ulaganja i kapital koji su bili potrebni
za otvaranje optike i njene prve dane poslovanja. Opisuje se detaljno aktivizacijsko razdoblje
koje je bilo potrebno da se optika otvori. Asortiman proizvoda i usluga koji je u ponudi
detaljno je prikazan i naveden, uz točne brojeve koji govore koliko se dnevno prodaje
proizvoda i usluga. Važni su i pokazatelji učinkovitosti projekta, oni su svakako na strani
optike jer optika postoji od 1991. godine. Poštuju se mjere zaštite okoliša te mjere zaštite pri
radu, jer njome se osigurava zaposlenicima, ali i korisnicima siguran boravak u prostorima
optike. Konkurencija je velika. Na području Karlovca nalazi se nekoliko optika koje su
potencijalna prijetnja i konkurencija, ali optika Fokus svojom kvalitetom proizvoda, usluga i
robe, vodi uspješno poslovanje već 32-je godine. Pokazatelji učinkovitosti kojima su se služili
tijekom planiranja i otvaranja optike pokazuju da je projekt profitabilan i učinkovit što je jako
važno za početak poslovanja i nastavak u kojem se želi ostvariti profit koji bi omogućio
širenje optike na druge lokacije.
Promidžbene aktivnosti su važne za svaki oblik poduzeća pa tako i za optiku. Važno je na
pravi način obavljati promidžbene aktivnosti, kako bi one došle do potencijalnih klijenata i
kupaca. Putem promidžbenih aktivnosti mogu se saznati mnogi podaci o proizvodima i
uslugama. Ulaganja koja su bila potrebna kod osnivanja poduzetničke ideje, 1991. godine bilo
je potrebno uložiti 56 600 eura. U stalna sredstva uloženo je 22 000 eura. Ulaganja u
materijalnu imovinu iznosila su 24 600 eura, a u nematerijalnu 7 000 eura. Obrtna sredstva
iznosila su 3 000 eura.The final paper was written on the topic of the business plan of the optics company "Fokus".
In the theoretical part, the concept of entrepreneur, entrepreneurship, types of
entrepreneurship and its meaning are explained. The paper contains information about the
owners of the optics, the location where the optics are located and their details. The
employees who are needed in order for the opticians to work and sell their products and
services to permanent and potential customers are listed. Investments and capital that were
needed to open the optician and its first days of operation. The activation period required for
the optic to open is described in detail. The range of products and services offered is detailed
and listed, with exact numbers showing how many products and services are sold daily.
Indicators of project effectiveness are also important, they are certainly on the side of optics,
because optics has been around since 1991. Environmental protection measures and
occupational safety measures are respected, as they ensure a safe stay for employees and users
in the optical areas. The competition is great. In the area of Karlovac, there are several
opticians who are potential friends and competitors, but optician "Fokus" with its quality of
products, services and goods, has been running a successful business for 32 years. The
efficiency indicators that were used during the planning and opening of the optician show that
the project is profitable and efficient, which is very important for the start of business and the
continuation in which it is desired to make a profit that would enable the optician to expand to
other locations. Promotional activities are important for every form of business, including
optics. It is important to carry out promotional activities in the right way, so that they reach
potential clients and customers. Many information about products and services can be
obtained through advertising activities. Investments that were needed when establishing an
entrepreneurial idea, in 1991, it was necessary to invest 56,600 €. 22,000 € were invested in
fixed assets. Investments in tangible assets amounted to 24,600 €, and in intangible assets
7,000 €. Working capital amounted to 3,000 €
PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTRIC CURRENT
Zaštita na radu je skup mjera i sustav pravila, mjera, postupaka i aktivnosti kojima se
unaprjeđuje sigurnost i zaštita, zdravlja radnika na radu, ozljeda na radu i
profesionalnih bolesti. U svrhu izrade ovog rada rad je podijeljen u 6 poglavlja koji
opisuju što je zapravo električna struja, kakav utjecaj ima na čovjeka, koje ozljede
može uzrokovati, koje su zone opasnosti u električnim postrojenjima, što sve ubrajamo
u zaštitu na radu pri radu s električnom strujom i praktični dio rada gdje je prikazan
primjer procjene rizika za radno mjesto električara i zapisnik o ispitivanju i mjerenju
sustava zaštite od munje, a težište rada i istraživanja bila je predodžba praktične
primjene sredstava i protokola zaštite od udara električne struje. Mjesto rada koje
obuhvaća rad s električnom struju slobodno mogu ubrojiti u jedno od najopasnijih
radnih mjesta jer samo jedan trenutak nepažnje/kvara na sustavu može za radnika
predstavljati ozljedu sa smrtnom posljedicom.Safety at work is a set of measures and a system of rules, measures, procedures and
activities that improve safety and protection, the health of workers at work, injuries at
work and occupational diseases. For the purpose of creating this work, the work is
divided into 6 chapters that describe what electricity actually is, what effect it has on
humans, what injuries it can cause, what are the danger zones in electrical
installations, all of which are included in occupational safety when working with
electricity and the practical part of the work, where an example of a risk assessment
for an electrician's workplace and a report on the testing and measurement of the
lightning protection system are presented and the focus of work and research was the
idea of practical application of means and protocols of protection against electric
shock. The workplace that includes working with electricity can easily be counted as
one of the most dangerous workplaces, because just one moment of inattention/failure
on the system can represent an injury with fatal consequences for the worker
PRODUCTION OF SERVO DEVICE SENSOR HOUSING ON A CNC MILLING MACHINE
U teorijskom dijelu rada prikazane su osnove CNC glodanja te podjela CNC glodalica. Nadalje
je prikazan sustav stezanja, smještaja i izmjene alata i obratka. Prikazane su referentne točke CNC
glodalice, te koordinatni sustav glodalice i obratka. U zadnjim poglavljima teorijskog dijela
obrađen je izbor alata i tehnološka dokumentacija koja prati postupak glodanja.
Praktičnim dijelom rada napravljeno je kućište senzora servo uređaja iz materijala PA 6. Na
temelju nacrta u programskom paketu izrađen je 3D model, simulacija obrade i CNC program.
Nadalje je prikazan postupak umjeravanja alata i umjeravanja obratka, te postupak glodanja.The basics of CNC milling and the division of CNC milling machines are presented in the
theoretical part of the paper . Furthermore, the system of clamping, positioning and changing tools
and workpieces are presented. The reference points of the CNC milling machine and the coordinate
system of the milling machine and the workpiece are shown. In the last chapters of the theoretical
part, the choice of tools and the technological documentation that accompanies the milling process
are being discussed.
As a practical part of the work, the case of the servo device sensor was made from PA 6
material. Based on the blueprint in the software package a 3D model, processing simulation and
CNC program were created. Furthermore, the tool and workpiece calibration procedure, as well
as the milling procedure are being presented
PROFILING THE WORKPLACE OF CNC MACHINES OPERATIORS
Pri izradi ovog diplomskog rada zadatak je bio obraditi povijesno tehnološki razvoj
strojne obrade, opisati što su CNC strojevi i koje su specifičnosti tako upravljanih
strojeva te dati pregled osnovne regulative koja pokriva sigurnost i zaštita na
takvim radnim mjestima. Prikupljajući potrebne informacije o zadanoj temi cilj je
bio uz njihovu pomoć izraditi sigurnosni profil samog radnog mjesta te proširiti
postojeću procjenu rizika pridavanju pažnje na aspekt opasnosti koje mogu
proizlaziti iz radne stanice koja služi za upravljanje CNC obradnim strojem.When preparing this graduation thesis, the task was to process the historical
technological development of machining, to describe what CNC machines are
and what are the specifics of the machines controlled in this way, and to provide
an overview of the legislation that covers health and safety in such workplaces.
Collecting the necessary information on the given topic, the goal was to create a
safety profile of the workplace itself with their help, and to expand the existing risk
assessment by paying attention to the aspect of dangers that may arise from the
workstation that serves to control the CNC processing machine
ALARM SYSTEMS AND SAFETY IN THERMAL POWER PLANT
Cilj ovog rada je istražiti i obraditi alarmne sustave koji su prisutni u
termoelektranama, kao i njihovu povezanost sa što kvalitetnijom provedbom
cjelokupne sigurnosti i učinkovitosti rada postrojenja. Budući da termoelektrane
koriste složene radne procese i radnu opremu, postoji veliki rizik nastanka
operativnih i sigurnosnih nepravilnosti. Upravo iz tog razloga, provedba ovih sustava
se obavlja detaljnim pokrivanjem i nadzorom svih područja koja predstavljaju rizik po
sigurnost, tj. mogućnost nastanka nekog oblika nesreće ili incidenta. Pokrivanje
takvih područja obavlja se senzorima ili detektorima koji, pomoću signala, putuju od
mjesta otkrivanja nepravilnosti do alarmne centrale, koja obrađuje ulazne signale te,
ako se radi o potencijalnoj opasnosti, aktiviraju alarm, tj. dojavu vizualnom i zvučnom
signalizacijom rukovoditeljima i svom osoblju postrojenja. Alarmnih sustava u
termoelektrani ima mnoštvo, a prema svrsi ih možemo podijeliti na alarmne sustave:
opće sigurnosti, radne opreme, radnog procesa, protuprovale i zaštite okoliša
(ekološki alarmi). Kako bi reakcija rukovoditelja bila što brža i efikasnija na dojavu
alarmog sustava, provodi se osposobljavanje koje naglašava način uporabe,
određivanje prioriteta alarma, same granice aktivacije alarma te mjere koje se
poduzimaju, ovisno o prioritetu alarma. Kada dođe do aktivacije alarma, interventnim
mjerama i protokolima je važno odrediti načine odgovora na potencijalnu opasnost,
a to se postiže daljnjom koordinacijom, komunikacijom i uporabom propisane
opreme za suzbijanje nastanka nesreće jer su ove kategorije usko povezane s
alarmnim sustavima. Točnije, bez alarmne dojave, odgovori na krizne situacije bi bili
prekasni i ne toliko učinkoviti.The main goal of this work is to explore and process the alarm systems that
are present in thermal power plants, as well as their connection with the highest
quality implementation of the overall safety and efficiency of plant operation. Since
thermal power plants use complex work processes and work equipment, there is a
high risk of operational and safety irregularities. Precisely for this reason, the
implementation of these systems is carried out by detailed coverage and supervision
of all areas that represent a safety risk, i.e. the possibility of some form of accident
or incident. Covering such areas is done with sensors or detectors, which use signals
to travel from the location of detection of irregularities to the alarm control center,
which processes incoming signals, and if it is a potential danger, they activate the
alarm, i.e. they give a visual and audible signal to alarm managers and all plant staff.
There are many alarm systems in the thermal power plant, and according to their
purpose, they can be divided into alarm systems of : general safety, work equipment,
work process, anti-burglary and environmental protection (environmental alarms). In
order for the alarm manager's response to the alarm system to be as quick and
efficient as possible, training is carried out, which emphasizes the method of use,
determining the priority of the alarm, the very limits of alarm activation, and the
measures taken depending on the priority of the alarm. When an alarm is activated,
it is important to determine the ways of responding to potential danger with
intervention measures and protocols, and this is achieved through further
coordination, communication and the use of prescribed equipment to prevent the
occurrence of an accident, because these categories are closely related to alarm
systems. More precisely, without an alarm notification, responses to crisis situations
would be too late and not so efficient
TRANSPORTATION OF EXPLOSIVE SUBSTANCES AND ITEMS FILLED WITH EXPLOSIVES
Cilj ovoga preddiplomskoga stručnog rada je pobliže objasniti kako se i na koji način
prevoze eksplozivne tvari. Pokušat ću sročiti sve na najlakši mogući način.
Eksplozivne tvari su one tvari koje su opasne i za čovjeka i za okoliš. One zaslužuju
rukovanje po svim propisima, pravilnicima i zakonima za sigurno rukovanje
eksplozivnog materijala.
U radu je objašnjeno pod kojim klasifikacijama pronalazimo eksplozivne tvari i koje
su njihove podskupine. Važno je označavanje i obilježavanje vozila za prijevoz
eksplozivnih tvari (ploče i listice opasnosti), pakiranje i označavanje ambalaže kako
bi se prevozilo na siguran način.
Na kraju rada opisani su i postupci u slučaju nesreće kod prijevoz
INFECTIOUS SUBSTANCES
Cilj ovog preddiplomskog stručnog rada je pobliže objasniti definiciju opasnih tvari, raščlaniti i obraditi klase i skupine opasnih tvari. Na što lakši način čitatelju predstaviti pojedine specifične pojmove i opasnosti u vezi s klasom 6.2. Infektivne tvari, koju ću detaljno obraditi. Infektivne tvari su one tvari koje šire neugodan miris ili sadrže mikroorganizme ili njihove toksine za koje se zna da mogu izazvati zarazne bolesti u ljudi i životinja. Shodno tome, jedan od ciljeva ovog rada bio je približiti osnovne mjere zaštite prilikom rukovanja infektivnim tvarima, te nabrojati osnovna zaštitna sredstva. Uz sve trenutno važeće propise, prikazati načine prijevoza opasnih tvari te pobliže objasniti problematiku infektivnih tvari te ono najbitnije - gospodarenje ovim tipom otpada u Republici Hrvatskoj.The aim of this undergraduate theme was to explain in more detail the definition of hazardous substances, to analyze and process classes and groups of hazardous substances. To present to the reader as easily as possible certain specific concepts and hazards related to class 6.2. Infectious substances, which I will deal with in detail. Infectious substances are those substances that spread an unpleasant odor or contain microorganisms or their toxins that are known to cause infectious diseases in humans and animals. Accordingly, one of goals of this paper was to approximate basic protection measures when handling infectious substances, as well asadress basic protective equipment. In addition to all applicable regulations, present the methods of transport of hazardous substances and explain in more detail the problem of infectious substances and most importantly – infectuous waste management in the Republic of Croatia
