APPEARANCE OF THE PHYTOPATHOGEN HYMENOSCYPHUS FRAXINEUS IN LOWLAND COMPOSTIONS OF FIELD ASH
No full textEkološki, gospodarski i opće korisno značajan rod šumskog drveća, koji generacijama se rasprostranjuje nizinskim područjima savsko-dravskog međuriječja i obogaćuje posavske poplavno-močvarne šume bioraznolikošću kao predvodeća vrsta tih sastojina, jasen i njegove vrste obični jasen (Fraxinus excelsior L.) i poljski jasen (Fraxinus angustifolia Vahl) nalaze se u naglom odumiranju. Događaji iz prošlosti oblikovali su trenutno stanje nizinskih poplavnih šuma srednje Posavine. Klimatske promjene, u kombinaciji s antropogenim utjecajem ostavile su dugotrajnu promjenu na cijelokupno stanište jasena izmjenjujući hidrološke prilike na širem slivnom području, ali i na samim rijekama. Uz abiotske čimbenike u procesu odumiranja šumskih sastojina jasena prevladavaju do sada nepoznati biotski čimbenici. U ovom radu opisuju se uzročnici bolesti poljskog jasena, u kojima među brojnim gljivama i gljivama sličnim organizmima u posljednje vrijeme najizraženije simptome prikazuje utjecaj patogene vrste Hymenoscyphus fraxineus. Procesi koji dovode do ove pojave na listovima i krošnjama te kasnije unutar fiziologije stabala također su moguć utjecaj narušavanja više stanišnih čimbenika u jasenovim šumama, ali ovu gljivu smatramo glavnim biotskim čimbenikom koji predstavlja najveću neposrednu opasnost ovim sastojinama.An ecologically, economically and generally useful genus of forest trees, which for generations has been spreading in the lowland areas of the Sava-Drava confluence and enriching the Posavina floodplain-swamp forests with biodiversity as the leading species of these stands, ash and its species common ash (Fraxinus excelsior L.) and narrow leaf ash (Fraxinus angustifolia Vahl) are rapidly dying out. Events from the past have shaped the current state of the lowland flood forests of central Posavina. Climatic changes, combined with anthropogenic influence, have left a long-lasting change in the entire ash habitat, altering the hydrological conditions in the wider catchment area, but also in the rivers themselves. In addition to abiotic factors, unknown biotic factors prevail in the process of the death of ash forest stands. In this paper, the causative agents of field ash diseases are described, in which, among numerous fungi and fungi- like organisms, the most pronounced symptoms have recently been the influence of the pathogenic species Hymenoscyphus fraxineus. The processes that lead to this phenomenon on the leaves and bark and later within the physiology of the trees are also possible effects of the disturbance of several habitat factors in ash forests, but we consider this fungus to be the main biotic factor that represents the greatest immediate danger to these forest stand

No full textU ovom završnom radu analizirat će se utjecaj događaja „Croatia Rally“ na dolaske i noćenja turista te na prihode koje je utrka ostvarila u Republici Hrvatskoj. Početak rada predstavit će natjecanje „World Rally Championship“ (WRC), njegovu povijest i događaje koji su prethodili dolasku utrke u Hrvatsku. Drugi dio rada analizirat će broj dolazaka i noćenja turista u mjesecima tijekom godina kada se nije održavao događaj „Croatia Rally“ te u mjesecima tijekom godina kada se on održavao. Prikazat će se koliki je financijski prinos Hrvatska ostvarila od utrke, koliko je posjetitelja prisustvovalo utrci te koji su utjecaji utrke na Republiku Hrvatsku. U završetku rada donijet će se zaključak o utjecaju događaja „Croatia Rally“ na Hrvatsku, je li on isplativ te kakva je budućnost tog događaja.This final paper analyses the impact of “Croatia Rally” on tourist arrivals and overnight stays as well as on the income generated by the race for the Republic of Croatia. The first section of the paper analyses the World Rally Championship (WRC), its history and the events that preceded the hosting of the race in Croatia. The second part analyses the number of tourist arrivals and overnight stays in the months of the year when “Croatia Rally” was not held against the years when the race was held. The paper also presents the amount of income that Croatia generated from the race and how many visitors attended the race. No full textOvim završnim radom se nastoji pobliže prikazati i objasniti te praktično prikazati zadaće i organizacijske oblike službe za ljudske resurse. U radu je opisana samostalna služba ljudskih potencijala unutar osiguravajućeg društva Triglav osiguranje d.d., njezina uloga, zadaci, ustroj kao i djelokrug rada. Razrada rada po poglavljima, od prvog do sedmog, odnosi se na ulogu službe ljudskih potencijala unutar organizacijskog društva Triglav osiguranje d.d., planiranje ljudskih potencijala s obzirom na strategiju organizacije, menadžment i glavne podsustave funkcije ljudskih potencijala (raspodjela zadataka i odgovornosti), uloga i podrška ljudskih potencijala u strategijskom menadžmentu, menadžmenta ljudskih potencijala, motive razvoja upravljanja ljudskim potencijalima, kao i motivirajuće tehnike, te razvoj i korištenje ljudskih potencijala kao poslovne funkcije organizacije. Predzadnje, šesto poglavlje obuhvaća razgovor sa bivšim djelatnikom Društva te iskustvom i zadovoljstvom sa odjelom Službe ljudskih potencijala. Sedmo poglavlje obuhvaća zaključak, te popis korištene literature i ilustracija za potrebe izrade završnog rada.This final paper tries to present, explain and practically present the tasks and organizational forms of the human resources service. The paper describes the human resources service within the insurance company, its role, tasks, structure and scope of work. The elaboration refers to the role of the human resources service, the organizational form of Triglav osiguranje d.d. and human resources services, human resources planning with regard to the organization's strategy, management and the main subsystems of the human resources function (assignment of tasks and responsibilities), the role and support of human resources in strategic management, human resources management, motivations for management development human resources, as well as motivating techniques, and the development and use of human resources as a business function of the organization Penultimately, six chapter includes an interview with an employee of the Company and his experience and satisfaction with the human resources department. PREVENTIVE FAILURES AND CAUSES OF FIRE IN HOTELS
No full textOvaj rad pruža općeniti pregled požarnih opasnosti u hotelskim objektima, kao i mjera zaštite od požara u istim. Posebno prikazuje požar u aparthotelu Mizpah u gradu Reno (Nevada, Sjedinjene Američke Države) koji je podmetnut od strane ženske osobe dana 31. listopada 2006. godine te koji je okončao katastrofičnim ishodom, odnosno živote je izgubilo dvanaest osoba. Uz pregled okolnosti nastanka požara i tijeka događaja, rad se osvrće na aktivne i pasivne mjere zaštite od požara u hotelu Mizpah. Kroz navedeno izvode se i definiraju sve relevantne činjenice u stručnoj analizi te daje pregled mjera za unapređenje zaštite od požara na osnovu važećih hrvatskih propisa.This paper provides a general overview of fire hazards in hotel facilities, as well as fire protection measures in them. In particular, it shows the fire in the Mizpah aparthotel in the city of Reno (Nevada, United States of America), set by a female on October 31st of 2006, ending in a catastrophic outcome, loosing twelve lives. Along with an overview of the circumstances of the fire and the course of events, this paper is focused on active and passive fire protection measures in the Mizpah Hotel. Through all of the mentioned above, relevant facts are derived and defined as a part of expert analysis, providing an overview of improvement of fire protection measures based on Croatian regulations
ENTREPRENEURIAL PROJECT ON THE EXAMPLE OF BEEKEEPING-OPG ŠKRTIĆ
No full textSAŽETAK Život u pčelarskoj obitelji i interes za to područje bili su glavni poticaj za pisanje ovog poduzetničkog projekta. Stoga se glavna tema ovog završnog rada temelji na primjeru pčelarstva. U prvom dijelu rada govori se o pojmu obrta, obiteljskom poljoprivrednom gospodarstvu i njegovim karakteristikama. Također, ukratko je opisan pojam pčelarstva i njegove karakteristike. Drugi dio ovog završnog rada govori o realizaciji poduzetničke ideje. Projekt je pisan na primjeru pčelarstva (proizvodnja meda i proizvoda od meda) i sadrži komponente za projektnu ideju, potrebne podatke i listu natjecatelja. Diplomski rad se nastavlja sa svim potrebnim koracima od ideje do konačne realizacije projekta. To uključuje popis cijena proizvoda i popis opreme koja je potrebna. Također, rad revidira aspekte poput potrebe za radnom snagom, kako se upravlja projektom, koja je učinkovitost projekta i kako se upravlja financijama. Pčelarstvo je unosan posao koji može donijeti veliku zaradu ako se dobro iskoriste njegove prednosti.Living with a beekeeping family and interest in the field were the main encouragement to write this entrepreneurial project. Thus, the main topic of this final thesis is based on an example of beekeeping. The first part of work is discussing the concept of trade, family agricultural business and its characteristics. Also, the concept of beekeeping and its characteristics is briefly described. The second part of this final thesis talks about realization of an entrepreneurial idea. The project was written based on an example of beekeeping (production of honey and honey products) and contains components for the project idea, required data and list of competitors. The thesis continues with all the necessary steps from the idea to the final realization of the project. This includes listing the prices of the products and listing which equipment is needed. Also, work revises aspects like the need of workforce, how the project is being managed, what is the effectiveness of the project and how finances are managed. Beekeeping is a lucrative business that can bring a lot of profit if its advantages are well exploited
HEATING, COOLING AND BIOGAS SYSTEM PROJECT FOR A RESIDENTIAL BUILDING IN ZAGREB
No full textU ovom radu prikazuje se projektno rješenje sustava za grijanje, hlađenje i pripremu potrošne tople vode manje stambene zgrade. Također će se izraditi kalkulacija ekonomske isplativosti ugradnje malog bioplinskog postrojenja. Zgrada se sastoji od 3 dvoetažna stana ukupne površine od 340 m2 te je smještena na području grada Zagreba. Za proračun toplinskog opterećenja zimi i ljeti koriste se norme HRN EN 12831 i VDI 2078, te su izrađeni pomoću računalnog programa IntegraCAD. Sustav koristi vrelovodni priključak na centralni toplinski sustav (CTS) Zagreb kao izvor topline za grijanje objekta i pripremu potrošne tople vode. Za hlađenje objekta projektirane su dizalice topline zrak-zrak (multi split sustavi). Za pripremu potrošne tople vode odabrane su individualne toplinske podstanice (ITPS) s protočnim grijanjem potrošne tople vode. Kao ogrjevna tijela odabrani su čelični pločasti radijatori, dok su za kupaonice odabrani kupaonski radijatori tzv. ljestve. Za hlađenje/grijanje su odabrani multi split sustavi. Za ventilaciju kupaonica/sanitarija bez prirodne ventilacije (prozora), projektirani su kupaonski odsisni ventilatori.This paper presents a design solution for the heating, cooling, and domestic hot water preparation system of a small residential building. Additionally, an economic feasibility calculation for the installation of a small biogas plant is conducted. The building consists of 3 duplex apartments with a total area of 340 m2 and is located in the city of Zagreb. The calculations of the thermal load in winter and summer are based on the HRN EN 12831 and VDI 2078 norms and are made using the IntegraCAD computer program. The system uses a district heating connection to the central heating plant (CHP) - Zagreb as the heat source for heating and domestic hot water, while air-to-air heat pumps (multi-split systems) are designed for cooling the building. Heat Interface Units (HIUs) with flow-through domestic hot water heating are selected for preparing domestic hot water. Steel panel radiators are chosen as heating units, while towel radiators also known as ladder radiators are selected for the bathrooms. For cooling/heating multi-split systems have been selected. Bathroom exhaust fans are designed for ventilation of bathrooms/toilets without natural ventilation (windows)

No full textKroz ovaj rad obrađuje se problematika zaštite na radu kroz primjer poduzeća HEP ODS d.o.o. Zaštita na radu, odnosno sigurnost svih zaposlenika odnosi se na osiguravanje sigurnog radnog okruženja, sigurne opreme, politika i postupaka kako bi se osiguralo zdravlje i sigurnost radnika. Kroz rad će se definirati zaštitna odjeća te oprema koju su zaposlenici HEP ODS d.o.o. poduzeća dužni nositi na radnom mjestu. Iako organizacije imaju moralnu obvezu osigurati sigurne radne uvjete, nesigurna radna mjesta također mogu imati ozbiljne pravne i financijske posljedice za poslodavce. Sigurnost na radnom mjestu ima značajan utjecaj na mnoge poslovne procese. Drugim riječima, sigurnija radna okruženja rezultiraju manjim troškovima za poslodavca, boljim zadržavanjem i zadovoljstvom zaposlenika. Pojavom inteligentne odjeće u 21. st. otvaraju se brojne nove mogućnosti i poboljšanja koja su do sada bila ne zamisliva.This paper deals with the issue of safety at work through the example of the company HEP ODS d.o.o. Safety at work, or the safety of all employees, refers to ensuring a safe working environment, safe equipment, policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of workers. The work will define the protective clothing and equipment used by HEP ODS d.o.o. employees. companies must wear in the workplace. Although organizations have a moral obligation to provide safe working conditions, unsafe workplaces can also have serious legal and financial consequences for employers. Workplace safety has a significant impact on many business processes. In other words, safer work environments result in lower costs for the employer, better retention and employee satisfaction. The appearance of intelligent clothing in 21st century opens up numerous new possibilities and improvements that were unimaginable until now
LOGISTICS PROCESSES OF A MANUFACTURING COMPANY IN THE PRIMARY SECTOR
No full textPredmet rada predstavljaju logistički procesi proizvodnog poduzeća u primarnom sektoru. Rad posebno razmatra logističke procese poduzeća u djelatnosti proizvodnje sirovog mlijeka. Poslovni procesi proizvodnih poduzeća jedni su od logistički najsloženijih, a poglavito onih u primarnom sektoru proizvodnje jer zavise o brojnim nezavisnim čimbenicima koje je potrebno predvidjeti i na njih adekvatno reagirati. Pored općeg opisa problematike logistike promatranog poduzeća, rad na odabranom primjeru, odgovarajućim metodama istražuje, opisuje i kritički predlaže unapređenja proizvodnog procesa.The subject of the paper are logistics processes of a manufacturing company in the primary sector. The paper examines the logistics processes of company which produces raw milk. The business processes of manufacturing companies are one of the most logistically complex, particularly those in the primary production sector because they depend on numerous random factors that need to be predicted and adequately reacted to. In addition to the general description of the logistics issues of the observed company, the paper investigates, describes and critically proposes improvements to the production process using appropriate methods
WHITE-TAILED (HALIAEETUS ALBICILLA) MONITORING IN LONJSKO POLJE NATURE PARK
No full textOrao štekavac (Haliaeetus albicilla) najveća je ptica grabljivica na području Panonske nizine te jedini pripadnik roda Halieaeetus na području Europe. Hrvatska se populacija prema podacima iz 2009. godine procjenjuje na 135-155 parova, te je trenutno navedeni broj sigurno porastao. Na temelju monitoringa provedenog 2022. godine na području Parka prirode Lonjsko polje evidentirano je 59 gnijezda. Pri prvom obilasku, tijekom veljače 2022. godine zabilježeno je 58 aktivnih gnijezda, dok je za samo jedno gnijezdo utvrđeno da je neaktivno. Prilikom drugog obilaska, u svibnju 2022. godine, četiri gnijezda nisu obiđena zbog nepristupačnosti, a od obiđenih gnijezda u njih 29 viđeni su mladi štekavci te je ukupan broj mladih viđenih u monitoringu iznosio 34. Prosječan broj mladih u gnijezdu bio je 1,21. Zbog raznih prijetnji orlu štekavcu, glavni ciljevi monitoringa su utvrditi brojnost populacije i uspješnost gniježđenja. Glavne mjere za izbjegavanje pritisaka na štekavca su očuvanje staništa i označavanje prstena u zoni od 100 metara radijusa oko gnijezda gdje je potrebno osigurati mir u sezoni gniježđenja.The white-tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) is the largest bird of prey in the Pannonian plain and the only member of the genus Halieaeetus in Europe. According to data from 2009 the Croatian population is estimated at 135-155 couples, and currently the stated number has certainly increased. Based on the monitoring carried out in 2022 in the area of the Lonjsko Polje Nature Park, 59 nests were recorded. During the first visit, in February 2022, the number of active nests was 58, while only one nest was found to be inactive. During the second visit in May 2022, 4 nests were not visited due to inaccessibility, and out of the nests visited, young were seen in 29 of them, and the total number of young seen during monitoring was 34. The average number of young in the nest was 1.21. Due to various threats to the white-tailed eagle, the main objectives of the monitoring are to determine the population size and the success of the nesting. The main measures to avoid pressures on eagles are the conservation of the habitat and the marking of the ring in a zone of 100 meters radius around the nest where it is necessary to ensure peace during the nesting season
