The topic of this thesis is Implementation of KAIZEN methodology in production, which consists of a theoretical, as well as a practical section. The theoretical section itself contains a general introduction to Kaizen and its significance. Continuing further, it touches upon the history of the Kaizen methodology, and the principles which should be honored within Kaizen, if one wished to stay true to the methodology. Further sections describe the various tools used within the Kaizen methodology, using which one can apply the methodology. The practical section contains a concrete example of how Koncar, a power transformers manufacturing company, used one of the many available lean tools to improve a manufacturing process, thereby showing how Kaizen is used at a commercial level. In short, the whole concept of Kaizen rests on the application of small, continuous improvements, which help reduce or fully eliminate waste, increase productivity, effectiveness and efficiency of the manufacturing process of the company in question. To conclude, it is an effective method, which is not difficult to implement, and its results are often immediately noticeable

Food safety is one of the cornerstones of public health and a fundamental aspect of consumer protection. Achieving perfect conditions for producing the necessary quantity of food is nearly impossible. Harmful substances can find their way into food through various pathways, making the risk of contamination almost unavoidable. Some contaminants occur naturally in specific foods, while others enter during the processes of production, transportation, storage, and processing. Given that certain harmful substances cannot be eliminated; they need to be minimized

Each species is naturally spread in a given geographical area and these species occur in their natural area, which we call the ‘natural range’. For a naturally occurring species, we say that it is native to the (wild) species, and somewhere through human activities, the species is referred to as an alien species. Such species succeed in nature in the new area and become so successful in conquering a new space, and their spread can be considered problematic, as they threaten the survival of native species and negatively affect biodiversity as a whole, the economy and human health. We call these species as invasive alien species whose intake is most often linked to the transport of products, vehicles and equipment

The subject of this thesis is to construct a device for crushing nuts. The purpose of the device is to break the shell of the fruit while leaving the core of the fruit intact. The machine is made for small and medium fruit producers. The device must be able to sort the fruit by size or have an adapted process for different fruits. The secondary purpose of the device is to separate the core of the fruit from the core. In the initial part of the work, hazelnuts and their types and cultivation are explained so that they know how to recognize different sizes of hazelnuts and how to process them. A market analysis was made and concepts were created according to which the final product was made. The 3D model is shown towards the end as well as its accompanying technical documentation

To čine korištenjem nuklearnih reaktora u kombinaciji s Rankineovim ciklusom, gdje toplina koju stvara reaktor pretvara vodu u paru koja vrti turbinu i generator. Nuclear power plants are a type of power plant that use the process of nuclear fission in order to generate electricity. They do this by using nuclear reactors in combination with the Rankine cycle, where the heat generated by the reactor converts water into steam, which spins a turbine and a generator. Nuclear power provides the world with around 11% of its total electricity, with the largest producers being the United States and France. Aside from the source of heat, nuclear power plants are very similar to coal-fired power plants. However, they require different safety measures since the use of nuclear fuel has vastly different properties from coal or other fossil fuels. They get their thermal power from splitting the nuclei of atoms in their reactor core, with uranium being the dominant choice of fuel in the world today

This study explores the issue of damage caused by wildlife and different methods to prevent or reduce it. The first part of the paper conducts a theoretical analysis of wildlife damage. Key terms related to the damage that wildlife can cause in agricultural and forest areas are defined. Existing game hunting legislation that regulates this issue and legal regulations defining procedures in cases of wildlife damage are analyzed. Furthermore, the paper investigates how wildlife damage occurs in forests and agricultural areas. Various causes of damage are identified to better understand methods for prevention and reduction. In the second part of the study, different methods for preventing wildlife damage are analyzed. Special emphasis is placed on partnerships and education with landowners and users outside hunting areas. Mechanical methods that can be applied, such as the construction of fences and other protective barriers, are presented. Within biological methods, ways to control wildlife populations and reduce damage using biological means are explored. Additionally, repellents that can deter wildlife from agricultural and forest areas are considered. Finally, the paper addresses wildlife deterrence, the use of protective measures, and scare devices to prevent access to areas sensitive to damage. The paper provides a deeper insight into the issue of wildlife damage and various available methods for prevention and reduction. Educating landowners and users outside hunting areas, as well as implementing mechanical and biological methods can be key strategies in combating this type of damage. Moreover, the use of repellents, protective measures, and scare devices also proves to be an effective approach in preserving agricultural and forest areas from the undesirable effects of wildlife. All mentioned methods can be applied individually or in combination, depending on the specific conditions and needs of each area
