METALLIC MATERIALS AND THEIR INTERACTION WITH FOOD
Potreba za korištenjem ambalaže, odnosno čuvanjem hrane javlja se od nastanka čovječanstva. Prvobitno je nastala
kao temeljna potreba u očuvanju hrane za kasnije korištenje, koja je razvojem trgovine dobila sve veću ulogu u
pakiranju i prodaji proizvoda. Nastanak metalne ambalaže spominje se još u metalnom dobu kada su ljudi od
dostupnih metala i metalnih tvorevina izrađivali posude za čuvanje hrane, a otkrićem procesa oblaganja lima u 12.
stoljeću korištenje metala za ambalažu se znatno povećalo. Jedna od glavnih funkcija ambalaže je zaštita proizvoda
od vanjskih utjecaja tijekom njegovog vijeka trajanja, predmet razmatranja ovog rada jesu metalni materijali i
njihove interakcije s hranomThe need to use packaging, that is, to preserve food, has been around since the dawn of humanity. It was originally
created as a basic need to preserve food for later use, which, with the development of commerce, gained an ever-
increasing role in packaging and selling products. The origin of metal packaging dates back to the metal age, when

the process of sheet metal coating in the 12th century, the use of metal for packaging increased significantly. One

DESING OF A SELF-LOADING BREAK BULK CARGO TRAILER
Kako i sam naslov navodi, u ovom diplomskom radu optimizirana je
konstrukcija samo utovarne prikolice za komadni teret. Tehnološki dio ovisi
o ograničenjima spajanja dijelova (profila), utjecaj okoline i samog tereta na
konstrukciju. Čvrstoća prikolice i pukotina je proračunata pomoću aplikacije
Ansys (Engineering Simulation Software) koji omogućuje detaljan numerički
proračun i 3D simulaciju. Na kraju je prikaz same konstrukcije u sastavnom
crtežu i 3D modelu.As the title itself states, in this thesis, the design of the self-loading trailer for
break bulk cargo has been optimized. The technological part depends on the
limitations of connecting parts (profiles), the influence of the environment and the
load itself on the structure. The strength of the trailer and cracks was calculated
using the Ansys (Engineering Simulation Software) software, which enables
detailed numerical calculation and 3D simulation. At the end, there is a
presentation of the construction itself in a composite drawing and a 3D mode
PLANT-BASED MILK ALTERNATIVES
Konzumacija biljnih napitaka novi je aktualni trend posljednjih nekoliko godina. Vidljivo je kako populacija
postaje sve više osviještena u načinu prehrane i vođenju zdravijeg i kvalitetnijeg života u što se uključuje i ovakav
tip proizvoda. Osim toga jedan od glavnih razloga konzumiranja biljnih napitaka je zdravstveni. Veliki broj ljudi
pati od alergija na proteine kravljeg mlijeka i intolerancije na laktozu. Samim tim u interesu proizvođača je
napraviti proizvod koji će po teksturi, boji, okusu ali i nutritivnim vrijednostima biti što sličniji kravljem mlijeku.
Nutritivna vrijednost kravljeg mlijeka i biljnih alternativa uvelike se razlikuje tako da proizvođači obogaćuju svoje
biljne napitke. Tehnološki postupak proizvodnje također se razlikuje od sirovine do sirovine. Na našem tržištu u
najčešćoj uporabi u napitci iz soje, badema, zobi, riže i kokosa. Njihov tehnološki postupak proizvodnje, nutritivni
sastav, prednosti i mane detaljnije su opisani u radu, a također spomenute su i mnoge druge biljne alternative.Consumption of plant-based beverages is a new and current trend in recent years. It is evident that the population
is becoming more conscious of their dietary choices and striving for a healthier and better quality of life, which
includes incorporating such products. Additionally, one of the main reasons for consuming plant-based beverages
is health-related. A large number of people suffer from allergies to cow's milk proteins and lactose intolerance.
Therefore, it is in the interest of producers to create a product that closely resembles cow's milk in terms of texture,
color, taste, and nutritional values. The nutritional content of cow's milk and plant-based alternatives differs
significantly, so manufacturers enrich their plant-based beverages. The technological process of production also
varies from one raw material to another. In our market, the most commonly used plant-based beverages are made
from soy, almonds, oats, rice, and coconut. Their technological production process, nutritional composition,
advantages and disadvantages are described in more detail in the paper, and many other plant-based alternatives
are also mentioned
STANDARDS AND MARKINGS OF PROTECTIVE CLOTHING IN GREAT BRITAIN
U Velikoj Britaniji postoje standardi i oznake za zaštitnu odjeću koje propisuje
Britanska organizacija za standardizaciju i Europska Unija, a u kojima se
napominje ključna važnost u poštivanju zakona i propisa. Poslodavci su obvezni
osigurati odgovarajuću zaštitnu odjeću i opremu zaposlenicima te osigurati da se
odjeća pravilno održava i mijenja prema potrebi. Poslodavci su također obvezni
educirati zaposlenike o pravilnoj uporabi zaštitne odjeće i mjerama opreza koje
se moraju poduzeti na radnom mjestu kako bi se smanjio rizik od ozljeda i bolesti.
U ovom završnom radu istražit ćemo kako se oznake sigurnosti koriste u Velikoj
Britaniji, koje su najčešće vrste oznaka sigurnosti i kako se one reguliraju te
upoznati se s važećim zakonima kroz čitanje, tumačenje i prevođenje tekstova
na engleskom jeziku struke. Nadalje, završni rad će u konačnici dati uvid u
promjene, poboljšanje i razvoj osobne zaštitne opreme kroz vrijeme. Zakon o
osobnoj zaštitnoj opremi kao temeljni zakon u Velikoj Britaniji za zaštitnu odjeću
propisuje dužnosti poslodavca i radnika te pravila o stavljanju na tržište radne
sigurnosne odjeće. Odjeća mora biti u skladu sa standardima, propisima i
zakonom, a da bi bila stavljena na tržište, mora proći niz testiranja otpornosti i tek
tada je spremna za uporabu. Za odabir odgovarajuće zaštitne odjeće, poslodavac
mora proći niz hijerarhijskih postupaka kroz koje analizira potrebe radnika u
radnom odnosu kako bi ih zaštitio i osigurao od nepoželjnih rizika na radu. Da bi
poslodavcu bilo lakše, postoji sistem sigurnosnih standarda koji propisuje
minimalne uvjete i obaveze u radnom odnosu. Za osobnu zaštitnu odjeću koristi
se mnogo sigurnosnih standarda, a navedeni su neki od najpoznatijih (ISO, IEC,
BS i EN) koji se koriste u Velikoj Britaniji. Navedeni su neki od klasičnih primjera
zaštitne odjeće s pripadajućim oznakama, standardima i piktogramima. Standardi
i oznake zaštitne odjeće u Velikoj Britaniji i cijelom svijetu pružaju povjerenje i
sigurnost kupaca bilo kakve zaštitne odjeće.n Great Britain there are standards and markings for protective clothing
prescribed by the British Organization for Standardization and the European
Union. Employers are required to provide appropriate protective clothing and
equipment to their employees and ensure that clothing is properly maintained and
replaced when necessary. They are also required to train their employees on the
proper use of protective clothing and the necessary precautions to be taken in
the workplace to reduce the risk of injury and illness. This final paper will
investigate the use of safety marks in GB, the most common types of safety marks
and how they are regulated. Furthermore, the current laws and acts will be
presented through reading, interpreting and translating the mentioned acts from
professional English as the source language. Finally, the paper shall provide
insight into changes, improvements and development of personal protective
clothing through time. The Personal Protective Equipment Act, as the basic law
in Great Britain for protective clothing, prescribes the duties of the employer and
the worker, as well as the rules for placing work safety clothing on the market.
Clothing must comply with standards, regulations and the law. In order to be
placed on the market, it must pass a series of resistance tests before its use. In
order to choose the appropriate protective clothing, employers must go through
a series of hierarchical procedures through which they analyse the needs of the
workers in the employment relationship in order to protect them from undesirable
risks at work. To make it easier for the employers, there is a system of safety
standards that prescribes minimum conditions and obligations in the employment
relationship. A large number of safety standards are used for personal protective
clothing, and some of the most common (ISO, IEC, BS and EN) are noted. Some
of the classic examples of protective clothing with associated markings,
standards and pictograms are listed. Protective clothing standards and markings

DESIGN AND MAKING OF THE FUEL CELL
Tema završnog rada je konstruirati jednostavnu gorivu ćeliju. U nastavku ovoga poglavlja opisane
su općenito gorive ćelije, njihova primjena, vrste gorivih ćelija, njihova povijest, opisan je njihov
princip rada i dizajn i na kraju poglavlja uspoređene su gorive ćelije u odnosu na baterije. U
drugom poglavlju se opisuje odabir dizajna i konstrukcija gorive ćelije. U trećem dijelu se opisuje
pokus i dobiveni rezultati, a na kraju se nalazi zaključak o gorivim ćelijama.The topic of this work is to construct a simple fuel cell. In the continuation of this chapter, fuel
cells are described, their application, types of fuel cells, their history, their working principle and
design, and at the end of the chapter, fuel cells are compared in relation to batteries. The second
chapter describes different types of fuel cell design and construction. The third part describes the
experiment and obtained results, and last chapter is a conclusion about fuel cells
DESIGN AND CALCULATION OF A DEVICE FOR CRUSHING NUTS AND SEPARATING THE FRUIT FROM THE SHELL
Tema ovoga rada je konstrukcijska izrada stroja za drobljenje orašastih plodova i odvajanje
ljuske od ploda. Napravljena su dva stroja. Oba stroja su jednostavno prenosiva i jednostavna za
proizvodnju u prosječnoj bravarskoj radnji.
U samom radu provedena je analiza postojećih rješenja na tržištu te je kroz morfološku matricu
proveden izbor najoptimalnijeg rješenja. Provjera mehaničke čvrstoće napravljena je metodom
konačnih elemenata. Na kraju se nalazi izrađena tehnička dokumentacija.The topic of this paper is the design of a machine for crushing nuts and separating the shell from
the fruit. Two machines were made. Both machines are easily portable and easy to manufacture
in the average locksmith shop. In the work itself, an analysis of the existing solutions on the
market was carried out and the selection of the most optimal solution was carried out through the
morphological matrix. The mechanical strength was checked using the finite element method. At
the end, there is the prepared technical documentation
ROBOTIC CUTTING OF BATHTUB LININGS
Tema ovog završnog rada je robotsko obrezivanje obloga kupaonskih kada.
U ovom završnom radu opisan je robot i robotska ćelija koju koristi firma Aquaestil Plus
d.o.o. za obrezivanje obloga, te vrsta, povijest i razvoj robota u svijetu. Navedene su vrste
reznih alata, njihovo umjeravanje i prihvati koji se koriste. Opisan je način pripreme 3D
modela obloge u SolidWorks-u i programiranje u SprutCAM-u, te prijenos modela iz
SolidWorks-a u SprutCAM, izvedbu robotske ćelije sa dvije radne stanice i njezinu prednost,
način rada sigurnosnih zavjesa i dijelove robotskog negativa za pričvršćenje obloge.
Uspoređeno je robotsko i ručno obrezivanje i navedene prednosti i mane robotskog
obrezivanja. Na kraju je napisan zaključak.The topic of this final thesis is robotic cutting of bathtub linings.
This final paper describes the robot and robotic cell used by Aquaestil Plus d.o.o. for
trimming linings, and types, history and development of robots in the world. I have listed the
types of cutting tools, their calibration and the grips we use. I described the method of
preparing a 3D model of the lining in SolidWorks and programming in SprutCAM, and
transferring the model from SolidWorks to SprutCAM, the performance of the robotic cell
with two workstations and its advantage, the way the safety curtains work and the parts of the
robotic negative for attaching the lining . I compared robotic and manual pruning and listed
the pros and cons of robotic pruning. At the end, a conclusion is written
INFLUENCE OF SPORTS COMPETITIONS ON TOURISM OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA
Sportska natjecanja iz godine u godinu privlače sve veći broj posjetitelja, promoviraju
turističku destinaciju te doprinose povećanju turizma. Sportska natjecanja konstantno
privlače sve veći broj posjetitelja, stoga se kroz ovaj rad želi prikazati na koji način i u
kojoj mjeri utječu na turizam Republike Hrvatske. Sportska natjecanja mogu se definirati
kao organizirano natjecanje sportskih ekipa ili sportaša pojedinaca koje organizira i vodi
pravna ili fizička osoba ovlaštena za organiziranje i vođenje sportskog natjecanja. U velikoj
mjeri utječu na turizam destinacije na kojoj se održavaju tako što povećavaju potrošnju,
broj dolazaka i noćenja te utječu i na prepoznatljivost Republike Hrvatske u svijetu.
Proteklih nekoliko godina sportski turizam u Republici Hrvatskoj postao je popularniji
zbog iznimnih uspjeha hrvatskih sportaša. Neki od najpoznatijih i najposjećenijih
natjecanja su nogometne utakmice, teniski turniri, automobilske, biciklističke i druge utrke.
Sport i turizam predstavljaju interakciju koja neprestano napreduje i otvara nove
mogućnosti za razvoj destinacija. Republika Hrvatska, s bogatom sportskom tradicijom i
prirodnim ljepotama, ima značajan potencijal za daljnji razvoj sportskog turizma.Sports competitions attract an increasing number of visitors from year to year, promote the
tourist destination and contribute to the increase of tourism. Sports competitions constantly
attract an increasing number of visitors, so this thesis aims to show in what way and to what
extent they affect the tourism of the Republic of Croatia. Sports competitions can be defined
as an organized competition of sports teams or individual athletes organized and managed by
a legal or natural person authorized to organize and manage a sports competition. To a large
extent, they affect the tourism of the destination where they are held by increasing
consumption, the number of arrivals and overnight stays, and they also affect the recognition
of the Republic of Croatia in the world. In the past few years, sports tourism in the Republic
of Croatia has become more popular due to the exceptional success of Croatian athletes. Some
of the most famous and most visited competitions are football matches, tennis tournaments,
car, bicycle and other races. Sport and tourism represent an interaction that is constantly
progressing and opening up new opportunities for the development of destinations. The
Republic of Croatia, with its rich sports tradition and natural beauty, has significant potential
for the further development of sports tourism
THE FUNCTION AND IMPORTANCE OF NIKOLA TESLA IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM IN THE CITY OF KARLOVAC
Nikola Tesla Experience Center mjesto je kreativnog i interaktivnog upoznavanja znanosti, kao
i načina korištenja suvremene tehnike i tehnologije. Koncipiran je za postizanje što više razine
inovativnosti, učenju kroz razumijevanje i istraživanje, uz upoznavanje kulturnog i znanstvenog
konteksta.
Kulturni i znanstveni turizam svoju ciljanu skupinu imaju u osobama koje su željne znanja i
koje su otvorene prema novim učenjima i unaprjeđenju sebe kao osobe. To je bio upravo i sam
Tesla, inovator koji je uvijek pomicao svoje granice. Njegov lik i djelo treba poštovati te na
temelju njegovog postignuća uvijek vjerovati da je sve moguće.SUMMARY
The Nikola Tesla Experience Center is a place of creative and interactive introduction to
science, as well as ways of using modern technique and technology. It is designed to achieve
the highest possible level of innovation, learning through understanding and research, along
with getting to know the cultural and scientific context.
Cultural and scientific tourism has its target group in people who are eager for knowledge and
who are open to new learning and self-improvement as a person. That was exactly Tesla
himself, an innovator who always pushed his limits. His character and work should be respected
and, based on his achievements, always believe that everything is possible
