AUTOMATIZATION OF THE PROCESS OF PACKING FRESH FISH IN A MAP ENVIRONMENT
Zadatak ovog Završnog rada je opis funkcioniranja automatiziranog sustava za pakiranje
svježih ribljih proizvoda u modificiranu atmosferu. Opisani sustav je postrojenje jedne
Hrvatske kompanije za preradu ribljih proizvoda, te svi parametric podešavanja strojne opreme
ostaju poslovna tajna.
Industrija za razvoj pakiranja hrane, razvojem novih tehnologija i procesa pokušava smanjiti
kritične točke sigurnosti hrane, osigurati svježinu upoakiranih prehrambenih proizvoda što duže
moguće, pritome smanjiti troškove proizvodnje.
U ovom završnom radu opisan je process automatizacije, te objašnjeno nekoliko ključnih
senzora koji su od ključne važnosti za automatizaciju procesa.The task of this Final Thesis is to describe the functioning of the automated system for
packaging fresh fish products in a modified atmosphere. The described system is a facility of
one Croatian company that process fish products, and all parameter settings of the hardware
remain a trade secret.
The industry for the development of food packaging, by developing new technologies and
processes, tries to reduce the critical points of food safety, to ensure the freshness of packaged
food products as long as possible, while reducing production costs.
In this final paper, the automation process is described, and several key sensors that are of key
importance for process automation are explained
QUALITY CONTROL OF OLIVE OIL
Kemijski sastav maslinovog ulja ovisi o sorti masline, nadmorskoj visini uzgoja ali i vremenu berbe te
postupku ekstrakcije. Sastoji se uglavnom od oleinske kiseline (do 83%) te ostalih masnih kiselina uključujući
linolnu kiselinu (do 21%) i palmitinsku kiselinu (do 20%). Ekstra djevičansko maslinovo ulje ne smije imati više
od 0,8% slobodnih masnih kiselina i mora imati povoljna svojstva okusa. Maslinovo ulje proizvodi se mljevenjem
ploda masline i ekstrakcijom ulja mehaničkim ili kemijskim putem. Pravilnikom o uljima ploda i komine masline
propisan je način svrstavanja, odnosno kategoriziranja maslinovog ulja u sljedeće kategorije: ekstra djevičansko
maslinovo ulje, djevičansko maslinovo ulje, ulje lampante. Glavni pokazatelji kvalitete maslinovog ulja su:
slobodne masne kiseline, peroksidni brojevi i K-brojevi. Cilj završnog rada je provjeriti ispravnost kategorizacije
za četiri uzorka maslinovog ulja.The chemical composition of olive oil depends on type of olive, geographical height, harvest time and
extraction procedures. It consists mainly of oleic acid (up to 83%) and other fatty acids including linoleic acid (up
to 21%) and palmitic acid (up to 20%). Extra virgin olive oil should not have more than 0,8% of free fatty acids
and must have favourable flavour properties. Olive oil is manufactured by grinding the olive fruit and extracting
the oil either mechanically or chemically. International olive council uses strict rules to categorize and grade olive
oil into the following categories: extra virgin olive oil, virgin olive oil and lampante oil. Main olive oil
categorization parameters are free fatty acids, peroxide value and K-numbers. Main goal of my final paper was to
check categorization validity of four different olive oil samples
SPECTROMETRIC AND CHROMATOGRAPHIC METHODS IN BEER PRODUCTION
U ovome radu opisuju se dvije najvažnije i najčešće metode analize u prehrambenoj industriji, ali i u
ostalim industrijama i područjima kao što su prerada metala, biokemija, medicina, forenzika, itd. Navedenim
metodama moguće je odrediti širok spektar komponenata u pojedinim tvarima. Spektrometrija se temelji na lomu
svijetlosti na prizmi, dok se kromatografske metode temelje na određivanju hlapljivih komponenata. U pivarskoj
industriji vrlo je važno održavati konstantnu i stabilnu kvalitetu proizvoda. Gorčina, polifenoli, diacetil,
pentandion, esteri i ostale hlapljive komponente važan su pokazatelj kvalitete proizvoda, te imaju jako velik utjecaj
na potrošača.This paper describes two most important and mostly used methods of analysis in food industry, but
also in other types of industries and areas such as metal industry, biochemistry, forensic ,etc. With the described
methods it is possible to determine wide spectar od components in certain materials. Spectrometry is based on
light break on prism, while chromatography is based on determination of volatile components. In beer industry it
is very important to keep constant and stabile product quality. Bitterness, polyphenols, diacetil, pentandion, esters
and other volatile components are important indicator of product quality, and have big infulence on consumer
EFFECTS OF ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION AND RADIATION
Kako bi se što bolje razumijeli učinci elektrosmoga i zaštita od zračenja
potrebno je prvo se upoznati za značenjima pojmova radijacije, elektrosmoga,
radioaktivnosti i ionizacije. Cilj ovoga rada je što bolje prikazati učinak
elektrosmoga na živa bića te kako se zaštititi od svih vrsta zračenja. Poznato je
da se spektar elektromagnetskog zračenja sastoji od zračenja iznimno niskih
frekvencija, radiovalova, mikrovalova, infracrvenog zračenja, vidljivog spektra,
ultraljubičastog zračenja, rendgenskog zračenja, gama zračenja te čestičnog
zračenja. Danas je dobro poznato da zračenja imaju učinak na živa bića, tako
izlaganje iznimno niskofrekventnim zračenjima, radiovalovima i mikrovalovima
izaziva zagrijavanja tkiva živih bića. Infracrvene zrake u dodiru s tijelom uzrokuju
titranje i okretanje atoma i molekula tijela. Vidljiva svjetlost na živa bića utjeće
promjenom stanja fotona, dok ultraljubičasto zračenje ima štetan utjecaj na živa
bića, ali isto tako ovo zračenje se koristi u medicini kao oblik terapije. Ionizacija
može uzrokovati ozbiljne biološke i kemijske promjene u tijelu, pa tako primjerice
gama zračenje sa sobom nosi teška oštećenja tkiva živih organizama. U
organizmu postoje tkiva koja su najosjetljivija na ionizirajuće zračenje, a to su
visokoproliferativna tkiva. Temeljem znanstvenih istraživanja donesene su
osnovne smjernice i preporuke za zaštitu od zračenja. Kako bi se što bolje
provodila zaštita od zračenje u Republici Hrvatskoj postoji mnogo važećih zakona
i pravilnika koje je potrebno koristiti i poštivati.In order to better understand the effects of electrosmog and radiation
protection, it is necessary to first familiarize yourself with the meanings of the
terms radiation, electrosmog, radioactivity and ionization. The aim of this paper
is to show as best as possible the effect of electrosmog on living beings and how
to protect yourself from all types of radiation. It is known that the spectrum of
electromagnetic radiation consists of radiation of extremely low frequencies, radio
waves, microwaves, infrared radiation, visible spectrum, ultraviolet radiation, X-
ray radiation, gamma radiation and particle radiation. Today, it is well known that
radiation has an effect on living beings, so exposure to extremely low-frequency
radiation, radio waves and microwaves causes heating of living beings' tissues.
In contact with the body, infrared rays cause the atoms and molecules of the body
to vibrate and rotate. Visible light affects living beings by changing the photon
state, while ultraviolet radiation has a harmful effect on living beings, but this
radiation is also used in medicine as a form of therapy. Ionization can cause
serious biological and chemical changes in the body, so, for example, gamma
radiation causes severe tissue damage to living organisms. In the body, there are
tissues that are most sensitive to ionizing radiation, and these are highly
proliferative tissues. Based on scientific research, basic guidelines and
recommendations for protection against radiation have been adopted. In order to
implement radiation protection as well as possible in the Republic of Croatia,
there are many valid laws and regulations that must be used and respected
IMPACT OF ASBESTOS EXPOSURE ON WORKERS HEACTH
U ovom diplomskom radu detaljno je istražena i objašnjena svijest o opasnostima,
pravilnom rukovanju, korištenju osobne zaštitne opreme i poštivanju propisa o zaštiti na
radu koji su ključni čimbenici u prevenciji bolesti uzrokovanih azbestom. Također,
kontinuirano usavršavanje i konstantna edukacija radnika uvelike pomažu da se nezgode
svedu na minimum ili čak eliminiraju, te zajedno s odgovornim pristupom poslodavca
mogu značajno smanjiti rizik izloženosti azbestu i poboljšati sigurnost na radnom
mjestu. Radnici moraju biti pravilno obaviješteni o rizicima i opasnostima svojstvenima
njihovom radu na radnom mjestu. Naposljetku, prikazan je primjer zbrinjavanja
građevinskog otpada koji sadrži azbest u tvrtki Eurco d.d.ABSTRACT
In this master thesis, the awareness of dangers, proper handling, use of personal
protective equipment and compliance with occupational safety regulations, which are
key factors in the prevention of diseases caused by asbestos, are thoroughly investigated
and explained. Also, continuous training and constant education of workers greatly
helps to minimize or even eliminate accidents, and together with the responsible
approach of the employer can significantly reduce the risk of asbestos exposure and
improve workplace safety. Workers must be properly informed about the risks and
dangers inherent in their work at the workplace. Finally, an example of the disposal of
construction waste containing asbestos in the company EURCO d.d was presented
DANGERS AND PROTECTIVE MEASURES WHEN WORKING WITH ACIDS AND ALKILS IN EL-TO ZAGREB
Proizvodnja kao djelatnost sastoji se od više proizvodnih aktivnosti u kojima radnik, koji sudjeluje u tehnološkom procesu, može biti izložen raznim izvorima opasnosti. U ovom radu opisani su tehnološki procesi u EL-TO Zagreb koji koriste kiseline i lužine te opasnosti s kojima se radnici u tim procesima susreću. U eksperimentalnom dijelu opisane su mjere zaštite koje se primjenjuju pri radu s kiselinama i lužinama u pojedinim dijelovima tehnološkog procesa. Središnji dio eksperimentalnog dijela čini izračun potrebnog volumena kiseline i lužine za neutralizaciju otpadnih voda te opis mjera koje se poduzimaju prema operativnom planu za slučaj propuštanja sadržaja spremnika kiselina i lužina u bazen otpadnih voda.Production consists of several production activities where the worker participating in the technological process can be exposed to various sources of danger. This paper describes the technological processes in EL-TO Zagreb where acids and bases are used, and the dangers faced by workers in these processes. The experimental section describes the protective measures that are applied when working with acids and bases in certain parts of the technological process. The central part of the experimental section is the calculation of the required volume of acids and bases for the neutralisation of wastewater and a description of measures taken according to the operational plan in the event of acid and base tanks contents leaking into the wastewater basin
INFLUENCE OF THE TYPE OF REINFORCEMENT ON THE PROPERTIES OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS USED IN CONSTRUCTION
Kompozitni materijali s polimernom matricom relativno su novija vrsta materijala u funkciji primjene ojačanja i obnove građevinskih objekata. Primjena kompozitnih materijala u građevinarstvu započela je kao zamjena standardnog čeličnog ojačanja, uz prednost manje težine i odlične kemijske i korozijske postojanosti. Time se ostvarila široka mogućnost primjene polimernih kompozita ojačanih vlaknima i u ostalim industrijama. Danas je na tržištu prisutan veliki opus raznovrsnih ojačala u različitim oblicima, a njihov razvoj je i danas sveprisutan i aktualan. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je objasniti i opisati kompozitne materijale, u prvom dijelu je definiran i pojašnjen pojam kompozitnih materijala i njegove karakteristike. U nastavku se fokus prebacio na pojašnjavanje različitih kompozitnih ojačala, njihove prednosti i mane te vrste punila koja osiguravanja postizanje boljih kompozitnih svojstava. Nakon toga su definirana svojstva i građa polimernih materijala, pri čemu su objašnjenje različite vrste polimernih materijala. Postupci i procesi proizvodnje kompozitnih materijala su objašnjeni na kraju teoretskog dijela. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada objašnjeni su postupci ispitivanja, odnosno postupak mjerenja kompozitnog poprečnog presjeka i ispitivanje vlačne čvrstoće kompozitnih mreža prema standardnu ISO 10406-1:2015 . Za potrebe ispitivanja uzeta su četiri tipa kompozitnih ojačanja konstrukcije proizvedene od AR-staklenog i ugljičnog ojačanja, impregnirano epoxy smolom. Zaključno je izvršena statistička analiza te je predočen zaključak temeljen na provedenom ispitivanju.Composite materials reinforced with a polymer matrix are a new type of material for reinforcing and reconstructing construction objects. The use of composite material in construction began as a replacement for standard steel reinforcement, with the advantages of lighter weight and greater chemical and corrosion stability. As a result, a broad range of applications for fibrous materials reinforced with polymers in other industries has been realized. Today, there is a large selection of various reinforcements in different forms on the market, and their development is still ubiquitous and relevant today. The purpose of this thesis is to explain and provide a description of composite materials. In the first section, the word composite materials as well as its definition and characteristics are provided. The explanation of various composite reinforcements, their benefits and drawbacks, and the kinds of fillers that guarantee the accomplishment of higher composite qualities came next. Following that, the many forms of polymer materials are explained along with their properties and structure. The steps and methods used to produce composite materials are described towards the conclusion of the theoretical section. In the experimental part of the paper, the test procedures are explained, i.e. the procedure for measuring the composite cross-section and testing the tensile strength of composite meshes according to the ISO standard 10406-1:2015. Four types of composite reinforcements made of AR glass and carbon fibres, impregnated with epoxy resin were used for the tests. In conclusion, a statistical analysis was performed and a conclusion was presented based on the conducted examination
OVERHAUL OF THE DOWNSTREAM TURBINE SHUTTER AT UNIT "A" OF HPP ČAKOVEC
Završni rad će nam opisati tijek remonta nizvodno turbinskog zatvarača na postrojenju kaplan turbine agregata A na hidroelektrani Čakovec. Rad će nam prikazati sve faze remonta od faze ugovaranja do primopredaje opreme i predaje završnog elaborata o izvedenim radovima. U prvom dijelu ukratko se upoznajemo sa osnovnim informacijama o hidro turbinama, hidroelektrani Čakovec i samoj funkciji nizvodno turbinskog zatvarača. Nakon toga rad opisuje projektni zadatak zadan ugovorom. Drugi dio rada je opisuje izvedbeni dio ugovora, gdje je sami remont podijeljen na dva dijela. Prvi dio se odnosi na projektiranje i planiranje projekta, dok je drugi dio projekta samo izvođenje radova. U današnje vrijeme rok za ispunjenje ugovora ima jednaku važnost kao i financijski dio ugovora, posebno u energetici i distribuciji energije gdje samo jedan dan produžetka radova nosi velike financijske gubitke kupcu. Ovaj rad naglasit će važnost planiranja radova i projektiranja tehnoloških procesa remonta u poštivanju ugovorenog roka s obzirom da je period za izvođenje radova bio ograničen na 12 tjedana što je relativno kratak rok s obzirom na opseg radova.Final work will describe the course of the overhaul of the downstream turbine shutter at the kaplan turbine of unit A at the Čakovec hydroelectric power plant. The work will show us all phases of the overhaul, from the contracting phase to the handover of the equipment and the submission of the final report of performed works. In the first part, we briefly familiarize ourselves with the basic information about hydro turbines, the Čakovec hydroelectric power plant and the very function of the downstream turbine shutter. After that, the work describes the project task given by the contract. The second part of the work describes the implementation part of the contract, where the overhaul itself is divided into two parts. The first part refers to the design and planning of the project, while the second part of the project is only the execution of the works. Nowadays, the deadline for the fulfillment of the contract has the same importance as the financial part of the contract, especially in energy and energy distribution, where just 1 day of extension of the works brings big financial losses. This paper will emphasize the importance of planning technological processes of overhaul in compliance with the agreed deadline, given that the period for the execution of the works was limited to 12 weeks, which is a relatively short period considering the scope of the works.
INFORMATION SYSTEMS FOR IMPLEMENTATION EU-FUNDED PROJECTS FUNDS
Danas je upravljanje projektima jedan od složenijih ljudskih zadataka. To zahtijeva određene vještine, puno iskustva i posebne programe kako bi se upravljalo projektima. U današnje vrijeme, na tržištu, nudi se velik broj programa za upravljanje projektima, no postavlja se pitanje pokrivaju li ti programi sva područja upravljanja projektima koja dobar projektni informacijski sustav mora pokrivati? Na primjeru tri informacijska sustava za upravljanje projektima koji su namijenjeni javnoj upravi došli smo do sljedećih zaključaka: Informacijski sustavi ne pokrivaju sva područja upravljanja projektima, postoje velike razlike u mogućnostima provedbe i izvještavanja kroz informacijske sustave.Today, project management is considered one of the most complex human tasks. Therefore, it requires special knowledge, a lot of experience and special project management software. There is a wide range of project management software on the market today. But the question is if these programs cover all of the project management areas that a good system should include? On the example of three information systems for project management intended for public administration, we came to the following conclusions: These programs do not cover all of the necessary project management areas yet, there are big differences in the possibilities of implementation and reporting through information systems
CREATION OF A BRAND ON THE EXAMPLE OF FAMILY FARM PAPIĆ
Ovaj rad bavi se kreiranjem tržišne marke na primjeru obiteljskog poljoprivrednog gospodarstva. U radu se definiraju marka, identitet marke i navedeni su elementi identiteta marke te vrijednost tržišne marke i način pozicioniranja marke. Opisuje se način funkcioniranja obiteljskog poljoprivrednog gospodarstva te se razrađuju analize kojima se dokazuje uspješnost poslovanja. Rad nastoji prikazati brojne mogućnosti i prednosti koje nudi posao na farmi. Kreira se tržišna marka kako bi proizvodi OPG-a Papić postali poznati na tržištu. Cilj rada je brendiranje proizvoda domaćeg obiteljskog poljoprivrednog gospodarstava. U SWOT analizi se prikazuju snage i slabosti te prilike i prijetnje OPG-a. Kreiran je logo sa likom i bojama koje predstavljaju domaće te samim time i brigu OPG-a za zaštitu okoliša.This paper deals with the creation of a market brand on the example of a family farm. The paper defines the brand, brand identity and lists the elements of brand identity, the value of the market brand and the way of brand positioning. The mode of functioning of the family farm is described, and analyses are elaborated to prove the success of the business. The paper tries to show the numerous possibilities and advantages offered by working on a farm. A market brand is being created in order to make the products of family farm Papić known on the market. The aim of the work is the branding of the products of domestic family farms. The SWOT analysis shows family farm strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities and threats. A logo was created with a face and colours that represent local and therefore family farm concern for environmental protection
