    Gospodarenje otpadom postaje sve veći problem na globalnoj razini, a nepravilno prikupljanje i odlaganje otpada uzrokuje sve veći broj požara. U ovom završnom radu stavlja se naglasak na važnost djelovanja u skladu sa Zakonom o zaštiti od požara (NN br. 92/10, 114/22), odnosno na pravilno prikupljanje i odlaganje otpada u tvrtkama koje se bave takvim djelatnostima kako bi se smanjili negativni učinci požara velikih razmjera na ljudske živote, imovinu, te na okoliš. Analizom svih dostupnih informacija o požaru u tvrtki Drava International na području Osijeka, želi se ukazati na važnost suradnje svih sudionika kojima je cilj u što kraćem roku ugasiti požar, te utvrditi uzrok požara.Waste management is becoming a growing problem on a global level, and improper collection and disposal of waste is causing an increasing number of fires. In this final paper, emphasis is placed on the importance of acting in accordance with the Law, that is, on the proper collection and disposal of waste in companies engaged in such activities in order to reduce the negative effects of large-scale fires on human life, property, and the environment.     Ovaj diplomski rad predstavlja projekt stabilnog sustava za gašenje požara, konkretno sustav za gašenje dušikom (N2 pod komercijalnim nazivom IG-100) za izgradnju Državnog arhiva u Virovitici. Projektom je potrebno obraditi zaštitu arhivskog dijela objekta (skladišta) u skladu s mjerama zaštite od požara. Obrađena je zakonska regulativa, pravilnici te razni tehnički propisi koji su potrebni za projektiranje, izgradnju, rad i održavanje sustava za otkrivanje i dojavu požara te za gašenje požara. Obrađena su svojstva koja su bila presudna za odabir sredstva za gašenje te sami sustav za automatsko gašenje požara. Obrađeni su svi dijelovi sustava, način odabira opreme (centrale, javljača, cjevovoda, mlaznica) i način funkcioniranja sustava za gašenje požara sa pripadajućim proračunima, tablicama, slikama i sl.This thesis presents the project of a stable fire extinguishing system, specifically a nitrogen extinguishing system (N2 under the commercial name IG-100) for the construction of the State Archives in Virovitica. With the project, it is necessary to process the protection of the archival part of the building (warehouse) in accordance with fire protection measures. Legal regulations, rules and various technical regulations that are necessary for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems and fire extinguishing systems have been processed.     Opasne tvari sastavni su dio života, a da ljudi toga nisu toliko ni svjesni. Svakodnevno pokraj svih nas prolaze cisterne i vlakovi, a na nebu lete zrakoplovi i to u toliko velikom broju, da se svi ne bi mogli ni pobrojati. Tijekom ljetovanja, u blizini se stalno nalaze brodovi koji također prevoze opasan teret. Kada bi se počela obraćati pažnja na njih vidjelo bi se koliko ih zapravo prevozi neku vrstu opasne tvari. Najčešće opasne tvari koje se pri tome prevoze su tekućine i plinovi. Najučestalije zapaljive tekućine koje svi koriste, a da ni ne razmišljaju o tome su benzinska i dizelska goriva. Koriste se ne samo u automobilima i ostalim prijevoznim sredstvima, već i u velikim proizvodnim pogonima, za grijanje, ali i za čišćenje jer su dobri odmaščivaći. Zapaljive tekućine navedene su samo kao jedan primjer koliko se opasne tvari olako shvaćaju, te se ni ne razmišlja o potencijalnim opasnostima koje one mogu prouzročiti. Upravo zbog toga važno je znati pravilno rukovati bilo kojom opasnom tvari, a posebice sa tvarima koje ubrajamo u lako zapaljive tekućine, a to se posebno odnosi na sve radnike koji sudjeluju u njihovom skladištenju i transportu. Također je bitno znati kako postupiti u slučaju bilo kakvog incidenta te se pravilno zaštititi od istih.Hazardous substances are an integral part of life, and people are not even aware of it. Tankers and trains pass by all of us every day, and airplanes fly in the sky in such a large number that it would be impossible to count them all. During the summer holidays, there are always ships nearby that also transport dangerous cargo. If attention were started to be paid to them, it would be seen how many of them actually transport some kind of dangerous substance. The most common dangerous substances that are transferred are liquids and gases. The most common flammable liquids that everyone uses without even thinking about it are gasoline and diesel fuels. They are used not only in cars and other means of transport, but also in large production plants, for heating, but also for cleaning because they are good degreasers. Flammable liquids are listed as just one example of how dangerous substances are taken lightly, and the potential dangers they can cause are not even thought about. This is precisely why it is important to know how to properly handle any dangerous substance, especially with substances that are classified as highly flammable liquids, and this especially applies to all workers who participate in their storage and transport. It is also important to know how to act in case of any incident and to properly protect yourself from them

    Cilj rada je pružiti neobvezujuće smjernice kolegama stručnjacima zaštite na radu, kako bi im pomoglo u ispunjavanju njihovih Zakonskih obveza u izradi procjene rizika na radu i donošenju odgovarajućih preventivnih i korektivnih mjera, a sve u skladu sa Zakonom o zaštiti na radu i Pravilnikom o izradi procjene rizika. Rad opisuje pristup, metode, postupak, načela i pojedinačne korake procjene rizika te daje upute o tome kako u praksi primijeniti rezultate dobivene procjenom rizika. Sam rad opisuje više od jednostavne metode postupka procjene rizika, opisuje načela i preporuke kako organizirati i voditi procjenu rizika.The aim of this paper is to provide non-binding guidelines to fellow occupational safety experts, to help them meet their obligations in the preparation of occupational risk assessment and the adoption of appropriate preventive and corrective measures, all in accordance with the Law on Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance. The paper describes the approach, methods, procedure, principles and individual steps of risk assessment and provides instructions on how to apply the results obtained in risk assessment in practice. The paper itself describes more than a simple method of risk assessment process, describes the principles and recommendations of how to organize and conduct risk assessment

    Teški metali u našem neposrednom okruženju i prirodi postoje oduvijek. Međutim poljoprivreda (organska i mineralna gnojiva, pesticidi), urbana područja (trafostanice, plinska i ostala energetska postrojenja, odlagališta otpada), industrija (nuklearne i termoelektrane, rudarstvo i prerada ruda, metalurgija, kemijska i elektronička industrija, skladištenje), incidentne situacije (ratovi, streljivo, plinovi, eksplozije, industrijske nesreće), uvelike utječu na zagađenje tla teškim metalima koji preko hrane koju unosimo dolaze u ljudski organizam i time ugrožavaju zdravlje ljudi. Obuka osoblja uključenog u rukovanje teškim metalima te njihovo sigurno odlaganje i zbrinjavanje ključan je aspekt sigurnosti, potreban kako teški metali ne bi dospjeli u naš organizam i time ugrozili zdravlje. Cilj ovog završnog rada je definirati teške metale, njihov utjecaj na zdravlje čovjeka, te prikazati metode njihovog uklanjanja iz okoliša.Heavy metals have always existed in our immediate environment and nature. However, agriculture (organic and mineral fertilizers, pesticides), urban areas (substations, gas and other energy plants, waste disposal sites), industry (nuclear and thermal power plants, mining and ore processing, metallurgy, chemical and electronic industry, storage), incident situations ( wars, ammunition, gases, explosions, industrial accidents), greatly affect soil pollution with heavy metals that enter the human body through the food we eat and thus endanger people's health. Training of personnel involved in the handling of heavy metals and their safe disposal and disposal is a key aspect of safety, necessary so that heavy metals do not enter our body and thereby endanger health. The goal of this final paper is to define heavy metals, their impact on humans health, and to show the methods of their removal from the environment

    Ideja održivog razvoja se oslanja na to da razvoj neke države ne bi trebao ugrožavati budućnost budućih generacija korištenjem neobnovljivih izvora i dugoročnim uništavanjem i zagađivanjem okoliša. Gospodarski razvoj nije moguće zaustaviti, no valja poduzeti određene mjere, kako bi imao što manji devastirajući utjecaj po okoliš i društveni razvoj. Izazov je u današnjem dobu pretvoriti navedene spoznaje u djelo, prijeći na održive oblike razvoja i drugačiji način života od onoga na koji je čovječanstvo do sad naučeno. Utjecaj masovnog turizma doveo je do narušavanja impresivnog prirodnog krajolika, iskorištavanje prirodnih resursa, zagađenjem okoliša u znatnim razmjerima te stvaranju drugih negativnih promjena. Takva situacija je stvorila tendenciju za osmišljavanjem i uvođenjem održivosti koji je usmjeren na očuvanje trenutnih i budućih resursa s ciljem umanjenja negativnih utjecaja koji pridonose uništenju resursa i okoliša što je prikazano u ovom radu na primjeru nacionalnog parka Plitvička jezera. Glavna svrha i svakodnevni cilj nacionalnih parkova je da rade na očuvanju izvornih prirodnih i krajobraznih vrijednosti, te imaju kulturnu, odgojno-obrazovnu, znanstvenu i rekreativnu namjenu. Nacionalni parkovi su prostrana, pretežno neizmijenjena područja iznimnih i prirodnih vrijednosti koja obuhvaćaju jedan ili više sačuvanih ili neznatno izmijenjenih ekosustava. U njima su mogući zahvati i djelatnosti kojima se ne ugrožava izvornost prirode, te što manji utjecaj ljudske prirode na njih. Nacionalni park Plitvička jezera biser je kontinentalne Hrvatske i naš najpoznatiji, najveći, najstariji i najposjećeniji nacionalni park. Poznat je po veličanstvenim slapovima koja stvaraju bistra jezera u stalnom biodinamičkom procesu stvaranja i rasta sedre što je dovelo do formiranja šesnaest stepenasto poredanih većih i nekoliko manjih jezera. Kao nacionalni park koji se nalazi pod UNESCO zaštitom, važnost utjecaja na očuvanje prirode i jačanje svijesti o smanjenju otpada predstavlja važnu odrednicu djelovanja. U ovom nacionalnom parku naročito je izražena vrlo važna potreba i implementacija očuvanja okoliša, te cjelokupne njegove infrastrukture s ciljem perspektive primjene održivog turizma. Briga o zaštićenosti prirodnih znamenitosti Nacionalnog parka Plitvička jezera koja imaju neprocjenjivu ekološku vrijednost uslijed razvoja turizma i s njime povezanih djelatnosti u neposrednoj okolici vrlo je važna zbog njenog očuvanja u budućnosti.The idea of sustainable development relies on the fact that the development of a country should not endanger the future of future generations by using non-renewable resources and by long-term destruction and pollution of the environment. Economic development cannot be stopped, but certain measures must be taken in order to have as little devastating impact on the environment and social development as possible. The challenge in today's age is to turn the aforementioned knowledge into action, to move to sustainable forms of development and a different way of life than what humanity has been taught to do. The impact of mass tourism has led to the destruction of the impressive natural landscape, the exploitation of natural resources, environmental pollution on a significant scale and the creation of other negative changes. Such a situation has created a tendency to design and introduce sustainability, which is aimed at preserving current and future resources with the aim of reducing negative impacts that contribute to the destruction of resources and the environment, which is shown in this thesis on the example of the Plitvice Lakes National Park. The main purpose and daily goal of national parks is to work on preserving the original natural and landscape values, and have cultural, educational, scientific, and recreational purposes. National parks are vast, largely unchanged areas of exceptional and natural value that include one or more preserved or slightly altered ecosystems. In them interventions and activities are possible which do not endanger the originality of nature, and if the influence of human nature (on them) is as little as possible. Plitvice Lakes National Park is the pearl of continental Croatia and our most famous, largest, oldest, and most visited national park. It is known for its magnificent waterfalls that create clear lakes in the constant biodynamic process of tufa formation and growth, which led to the formation of sixteen larger and several smaller lakes. As a national park under UNESCO protection, the importance of influencing nature conservation and raising awareness of waste reduction is an important determinant of action. In this national park, the very important need and implementation of the preservation of the environment and its entire infrastructure with the aim of applying sustainable tourism is particularly expressed. Taking care of the protection of the natural sights of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, which have an invaluable ecological value due to the development of tourism and related activities in the immediate vicinity, is very important due to its preservation in the future

    Tema ovog rada bila je opisati najvažnije i najčešće korištene fizikalno – kemijske analize u pivarstvu, jer upravo te analize omogućuju proizvođačima kontrolu procesa i svih parametra kao što je alkohol, CO2, boja, gorčina, pjena, bistrina i dr. Kroz analize sladovine, kao i piva u fazi vrenja i odležavanja, može se pratiti proces i intervenirati prema potrebi na vrijeme. Konstantnom kontrolom svakog dijela procesa, osiguravaju se proizvodi visoke kvalitete koji zadovoljavaju zahtjeve potrošača. Uz fizikalno- kemijske analize u radu je opisana i metoda plinske kromatografije i spektroskopija. Plinska kromatrografija se koristi se za identifikaciju spojeva u uzorcima. S obzirom da pruža precizne i brze rezultate, ubraja se u važnije i neophodne analize u brojnim područjima kao što su farmacija, klinička ispitivanja i prehrambena industrija. Spektroskopija se također koristi u raznim područjima i prehrambenim industrijama, a u pivarstvu ima važnu ulogu u kontroli kvalitete i najčešće se primjenjuje za određivanje boje, gorčine i koncentracije polifenola u uzorcima piva.The aim of this study was to describe the most important and commonly used physico-chemical analyses in brewing, as these analyses enable producers to control the process and all parameters such as alcohol, CO2, color, bitterness, foam, clarity, etc. Through analyses of wort, as well as beer from fermentation and beer from maturation, the process can be monitored, and interventions can be made as needed in a timely manner. By constantly controlling each part of the process, high-quality products that meet consumer requirements are ensured. In addition to other physicochemical analyses, the study elaborates on gas chromatography and spectroscopy. Gas chromatography is employed for compound identification within samples. Given its capability to deliver precise and rapid outcomes, it is deemed one of the pivotal and indispensable analyses across numerous domains, including pharmaceuticals, clinical investigations, and the food industry. Spectroscopy is also used in various fields and in the food industry, and in brewing it plays an important role in quality control and is most often used to determine the colour, bitterness and concentration of polyphenols in beer sample

Ovaj rad je savršen primjer kako se može nadzirati temperatura i vlaga željenog prostora bilo gdje na svijetu koristeći web stranicu na kojoj će se vrijednosti prikazivati u stvarnome vremenu.The main topic of this undergraduate thesis is to show how temperature and humidity measurement can be achieved through sensors for measuring temperature and humidity, microcontrollers and web servers and displaying the measurements via the graphs displayed on the website. This work is a perfect example of how one can monitor the temperature and humidity of a desired space anywhere in the world using a website where the values will be displayed in real time
