SPECIFICS OF SAFETY AT WORK IN URBAN FORESTRY
U ovom završnom radu opisani su sigurnosni zahtjevi na poslovima urbanog šumarstva. Specifičnost urbanog šumarstva je primjena alpinističkih penjačkih tehnika kod orezivanja i rušenja visokih stabala. Prikazana je primjena strojeva i alata koji se koriste u radu i uporaba zaštitne opreme za obavljanje radnih zadataka.In this final paper, the safety requirements for urban forestry operations are described. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF THE KRSKO NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
Nuklearna elektrana Krško je elektrana koja koristi uranijevu rudu kao gorivu u svrhu proizvodnje električne energije. Uranijeva ruda je vrlo štetna za okoliš i pučanstvo i kao takva treba se adekvatno zbrinuti nakon svoje uporabe. Osim uranijeve rude i ostatka iste nakon uporabe, u procesu proizvodne električne energije nastaje i ostali nepovoljni produkti, koji su radioaktivni, odnosno nastaje radioaktivni otpad. Radioatkivni otpad je vrlo opasan i štetan za cijelu planetu Zemlju kao takav se mora vrlo temeljito i adekvatno zbrinuti. Zato su izgrađena odlagališta otpada, gdje se svi radioaktivni materijali koji se ne koriste u svrhu proizvodnje električne energije pohranjuju. Važno je da se odlagališta radioaktivnog otpada dovoljno udaljena od bilo kakvog naseljenog mjesta, i dovoljno kvalitetno izgrađena kako ne bi došlo do ispuštanja negativnih elemenata u biosferu.The Krško nuclear power plant is a power plant that uses uranium ore as fuel for the purpose of producing electricity. Uranium ore is very harmful to the environment and the population and as such should be properly disposed of after use. In addition to uranium ore and the rest of it after use, in the process of producing electricity, other unfavorable products are also created, which are radioactive, that is, radioactive waste is created. Radioactive waste is very dangerous and harmful to the entire planet Earth, as such it must be disposed of very thoroughly and adequately. That is why waste disposal sites were built, where all radioactive materials that are not used for the purpose of electricity production are stored. It is important that radioactive waste disposal sites are located far enough from any inhabited place, and built with sufficient quality, so that there is no release of negative elements into the biosphere
INTELLEGENT SYSTEMS FOR EARLY DETECTION OF FIRE IN OPEN SPACES: APPLICATION OF THE STRIBOR SYSTEM
Požari otvorenog prostora predstavljaju ozbiljnu prijetnju eko sustavu, infrastrukturi i ljudskim životima. Posljednjih su desetljeća požari otvorenih prostora u stalnom porastu diljem svijeta i predstavljaju temeljnu ugrozu za kulturna dobra i šumske površine. Osim preventivnih mjera zaštite od požara jedini efikasni način smanjenja štete uslijed požara otvorenog prostora je pravovremeno uočavanje požara, brza reakcija i sprečavanje širenja požara što omogućuje implementacija inteligentnih sustava za ranu detekciju požara u vatrogastvu. Predmet rada su inteligentni sustavi za ranu detekciju požara otvorenih prostora, dok je cilj rada prikazati važnost implementacije inteligentnih sustava za ranu detekciju požara otvorenih prostora i dijelove tog sustava.Open space fire pose a serious treat to the ecosystem, infrastructure and human lives. In recent decades, fire in open spaces have been constantly increasing all over the world and represent a fundamental treat to cultural assets and forest areas. In addition to preventive fire protection measures, the only effective way to reduce the demage caused by fires in open spaces is timely detection of fires, quick reaction and prevention of fire spread, which is made possible by the implementation of intelligent systems for early fire detection in the fire department. The subject of the work is intelligent systems for the early detection of fires in open spaces, while the aim of the paper is to show the importants of the implementation of intelligent system for the early detection of fires in open spaces and the of that system
MODELING AND MANIPULATING 3D OBJECTS USING THE IMGUI LIBRARY
SAŽETAK Ovaj rad se bavi modeliranjem i manipulacijom 3D objekata s pomoću ImGui biblioteke koristeći OpenGL kao osnovni grafički set pravila i protokola za iscrtavanje. Projekt omogućava korisnicima stvaranje i upravljanje 3D objektima, kao što su kocke, s mogućnošću interakcije s njima kroz translaciju, rotaciju i skaliranje. Korištenjem GLFW i ImGui omogućeno je upravljanje korisničkim sučeljem i stvaranje prozora u kojem se odvija grafička manipulacija. GLM biblioteka se koristi za matematičke operacije nad 3D objektima, dok datoteke za sjenčanje pružaju fleksibilnost u stvaranju svjetlosnih i teksturnih efekata. Implementacija kamere omogućava slobodno kretanje kroz 3D prostor, što korisnicima daje potpunu kontrolu nad scenom i objektima unutar nje. Projekt pruža osnovne funkcionalnosti za razvoj aplikacija koje zahtijevaju dinamično i fleksibilno upravljanje 3D objektima, te je lako proširiv za složenije scene i interakcije.This work focuses on the modeling and manipulating 3D objects using the ImGui library and OpenGL as the primary set of graphics rules and protocols for rendering. The project allows users to create and manage 3D objects, such as cubes, with the ability to interact with them through translation, rotation, and scaling. By using GLFW and ImGui, user interface management and window creation for graphical manipulation are facilitated. The GLM library is utilized for mathematical operations on 3D objects, while shader files offer flexibility in creating lighting and texture effects. The implementation of a camera allows for free movement through 3D space, providing users with full control over the scene and the objects within it. The project offers basic functionality for developing applications that require dynamic and flexible management of 3D objects, and it is easily extendable for more complex scenes and interactions
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESONSIIBILITY IN HOSPITALITY
Tema ovoga završenog rada je društveno odgovorno poslovanje u hotelijerstvu. U završnome radu je pojašnjen pojam društveno odgovornog poslovanja, razvoj društvenog poslovanja kroz povijest kako u Europi, tako i u Hrvatskoj, primjena načela i mjerila društveno odgovornog poslovanja te primjeri poduzeća koji se orijentiraju održivom turizmu i društveno odgovornome poslovanju. Hotelijerstvo nudi mnogo primjera dobre prakse, a kroz rad su prikazani turistički objekti iz Republike Hrvatske i inozemstva, koji nam prikazuju kako brinuti o okolišu, zaposlenicima i lokalnoj zajednici, a pritom biti vrlo uspješni. Predmet istraživanja ovog rada je utvrditi kako turistički objekti stacionirani u RH; Hotel Split i Terme Sveti Martin, imaju praksu društveno odgovornog, odnosno zelenog poslovanja te ih usporediti sa hotelima u inozemstvu.The topic of this finished work is socially responsible business in the hotel industry. The final paper explains the concept of socially responsible business, the development of socially responsible business throughout history both in Europe and in Croatia, the application of the principles and criteria of socially responsible business, and examples of companies that are oriented towards sustainable tourism and socially responsible business. The hotel industry offers many examples of good practice, and the work presents tourist facilities from the Republic of Croatia and abroad, which show us how to take care of the environment, employees and the local community, and at the same time be very successful. The subject of research in this work is to determine how tourist facilities are stationed in the Republic of Croatia; Hotel Split and Terme Sveti Martin have a practice of socially responsible, i.e. green business and can be compared with hotels abroad
FIRE PROTECTION MEASURES IN THE NATURE PARK KOPAČKI RIT
U završnom radu prikazane su mjere zaštite od požara u Javnoj ustanovi “Park prirode Kopački rit” kao sustav aktivnosti i postupaka koji se provode s ciljem sprječavanja nastanka požara te zaštite života i zdravlja zaposlenika, imovine i okoliša u slučaju požara. Analiziran je Pravilnik o zaštiti od požara Javne ustanove “Park prirode Kopački rit” i dan je prikaz intervencije - gašenja prizemnog požara u kombinaciji s ovršnim požarom na otvorenom prostoru Kopačkoga rita u kolovozu 2022. godine.In the final paper, the protection measures in the Public Institution “Kopački rit Nature Park” are presented as a system of activities and procedures that are carried out with the aim of preventing the occurrence of fire and protecting the life and health of employees, property and the environment in the case of a fire. The Rulebook on Fire Protection of the Public Institution “Kopački rit Nature Park” was analysed and there was also a presentation of the intervention - extinguishing the ground fire in combination with the forced fire in the open area of Kopački rit in August 2022
ORDER FULFILLMENT WITH COST ANALYSIS ON THE EXAMPLE OF A COMPANY FOR THE PRODUCTION OF TURBINE COMPONENTS
Svakodnevno se susrećemo sa različitim narudžbama, kako u privatnom tako i u poslovnom svijetu. Sama narudžba kreće od kupca kojemu je neka usluga ili proizvod potreban. Cilj poduzeća je ponuditi konkurentnu cijenu svom kupcu kako je kupac ne bi odbio nego se odlučio za kupnju. Odlučivanje o cijenama proizvoda i usluga je zadaća s kojom se susreće svako poduzeće. Formiranje cijene proizvoda kroz proces kalkulacije, ovisi o puno faktora gdje su najvažniji kupci, konkurencija i troškovi. Cijena mora biti privlačna i dostupna kupcu, a s druge strane dovoljno visoka kako bi osigurala uredno poslovanje ponuđača. S toga je sve veći naglasak stavljen na upravljanje troškovima kako bi se ostvarila isplativost poslovanja, odnosno stvaranje optimalnog iznosa između troškova i prodajnih rezultata. Potrebno je znati koliko određeni proizvod stvarno košta poduzeće. U obzir se moraju uzeti svi troškovi nabave sirovina, proizvodnje, transporta, prodaje, distribucije i slično. Upravljanje troškovima je zapravo upravljanje novcem na način da se zadovolje potrebe obje strane, odnosno kupca i proizvođača. Jedan od izazova svih poduzeća je postići profit smanjenjem troškova ili povećanjem prihoda. Način na koji to ostvariti je analizom troškova. Praktični dio rada će na temelju primjera prikazati ključne operativne procese u realizaciji narudžbe u poduzeću za proizvodnju turbinskih komponenti uz osvrt na analizu troškova, konkretno troškove materijala, rada i ostalih proizvodnih troškova. Cilj je, kroz slijed aktivnosti, prikazati ulogu operacijskog menadžmenta u proizvodnim procesima i njegovu važnost prilikom ostvarenja kvalitete i produktivnosti poduzeća.Every day, we encounter various orders, both in the private and business world. An order typically originates from a customer in need of a service or product. The company's goal is to offer a competitive price to its customers, encouraging them to choose to make a purchase rather than rejecting it. Determining product and service prices is a task that every company faces. Formulating product prices through a process of calculation depends on many factors, with customers, competition, and costs being the most important. The price must be attractive and accessible to the customer, yet sufficiently high to ensure the provider's smooth operation. Therefore, there is increasing emphasis on cost management to achieve profitability, striking an optimal balance between costs and sales results. It is essential to know the true cost of a particular product for the company. All costs of raw material procurement, production, transportation, sales, distribution, etc., must be taken into account. Cost management is effectively managing money to meet the needs of both parties, namely the customer and the manufacturer. One of the challenges for all companies is to achieve profit by reducing costs or increasing revenue. The way to achieve this is through cost analysis. Based on examples, the practical part of the work will illustrate the key operational processes in order realization in a company producing turbine components, with a focus on cost analysis, specifically material costs, labor, and other production costs. The goal is to demonstrate, through a sequence of activities, the role of operations management in production processes and its importance in achieving quality and productivity for the company
AUTOMATIZATION OF THE ACRYLIC BATHUB PRODUCTION PROCESS
U ovom završ nom radu biti će istražen i unaprijeđen proces proizvodnje akrilnih kada. Biti će opisan dosadašnji način proizvodnje, uoč ena mjesta gdje je moguće izvesti ubrzanje proizvodnog procesa i njegovu automatizaciju. Razmotriti će se način na koji bi se proces mogao ubrzati i automatizirati, označiti na nacrtu sve strojeve i uređaje koji se koriste tijekom procesa. Dio završnog rada biti i izrada program u simulatoru za PLC koji bi služio kao glavni upravljački i nadzorni program procesa. Na kraju će se izvesti zaključak o usporedbi ručne i automatizirane proizvodnje i iznesti svoje osobno mišljenje.In this final paper, the process of acrylic bathtub production will be researched and improved. The current production method will be described, identifying areas where the production process can be accelerated and automated. The ways in which the process could be sped up and automated will be considered, and all machines and devices used during the process will be marked on the diagram. Part of the final paper will also include the development of a program in a PLC simulator that would serve as the main control and monitoring program for the process. Finally, a conclusion will be provided, comparing manual and automated production, along with presenting personal opinions
WORKLOAD RESEARCH IN THE RETAIL INDUSTRY
U ovom radu bit će objašnjen pojam ergonomije te njene vrste, osobitosti rada u trgovini, te radni zadaci voditelja i ostalih radnika. Spomenuti će se njihove obaveze, napori i opasnosti s kojima se susreću tijekom radnog dana, a zatim objasniti kako da poboljšaju ergonomiju tijekom pristupanja radnim zadacima. U eksperimentalnom dijelu bit će provedena analiza opterećenosti tijela radnika SMART metodom kroz radne zadatke kao što su: deklariranje, osiguravanje i slaganje odjeće, te rad na blagajni i uredski poslovi voditelja. Analizom je utvrđeno da svi zadaci, osim uredskih poslova, imaju značajno fizičko opterećenje, što ih svrstava u kategorije povećanog ili visokog rizika. Visoki rizik zabilježen je kod rada na blagajni i osiguravanja robe, radni zadaci deklariranja i slaganja robe ocijenjeni su povećanim rizikom, dok uredski poslovi predstavljaju jedini zadatak s niskom razinom rizika.In this paper will be explained the concept of ergonomics, types of ergonomics, specifics of work in retail and the tasks of managers and other workers. Their responsibilities, efforts, and dangers encountered during the workday will be mentioned, and it will be explained how to improve ergonomics while performing job ta In the experimental section, an analysis of workers' physical workload will be conducted using the SMART method across tasks such as declaiming, securing and sorting clothing, as well as cashier work and managerial office tasks. The analysis found that all tasks, except for office tasks, involve significant physical strain, categorizing them as increased or high-risk. The highest risk was recorded for cashier work and securing goods. Declaring and sorting tasks were assessed as medium risk, while office tasks were identified as the only ones with a low level of risk
SCAVENGING
Lešina predstavlja vrijedan resurs u prirodi. Osim što doprinosi funkcijama ekosustava kao što je kruženje hranjivih tvari, hrana je različitim vrstama strvinara kralježnjaka i beskralježnjaka. U ovom radu prikazuju se rezultati istraživanja kojemu je bio cilj ispitati vrste životinja strvinara i koliko često se hrane lešinama u šumskim ekosustavima i agroekosustavima. Uzorci lešina životinja stradalih u prometu izložene su ispred fotozamki kako bi se ispitalo koji se strvinari kralježnjaci hrane lešinom te postoje li razlike meĎu njima s obzirom na vrijeme i stopu strvinarenja. Istraživanje je pokazalo da su lešinari kralježnjaci uklonili većinu biomase lešina, pri čemu su dominirale ptice, vjerojatno zbog svojih sposobnosti pretraživanja i lociranja lešine. Hranjenje lešinom bilo je vremenski podijeljeno tako da su se ptice hranile danju, a sisavci noću, što je potvrdilo zaključke iz brojnih drugih istraživanja koja su se bavila istim pitanjima.A carcass is a valuable resource in nature. In addition to contributing to ecosystem functions such as nutrient cycling, it is food for various species of vertebrate and invertebrate scavengers. This paper presents the results of research whose goal was to examine the types of carrion animals and how often they feed on carrion in forest ecosystems and agroecosystems. Carcass samples of animals killed in traffic were exposed in front of photo traps in order to examine which carrion scavengers feed on the carrion and whether there are differences between them with regard to the time and rate of scavenging. The research showed that vertebrate scavenger removed most of the carcass biomass, with birds dominating, possibly due to their abilities to search and locate the carcass. Carcass feeding was temporally divided so that birds fed during the day and mammals at night, which confirmed the conclusions of numerous other studies dealing with the same questions
