POVEZANOST NASTAVNIČKE DOBROBITI, MENTALNOG ZDRAVLJA I ŠKOLSKE KLIME
The topic of this thesis is the impact and correlation of school climate with the well-being and mental health of teachers. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the phenomena of school climate, mental health, and well-being, and their impact on students and teachers. Since the focus is on teachers, an overview of the teaching profession is provided to better understand the complexity of their work.
The research for this thesis was conducted as part of the project Testing the 5C Model of Positive Youth Development: Traditional and Digital Mobile Measurement (P.R.O.T.E.C.T.) on a sample of 90 teachers from high schools in Split. The aim was to examine the well-being and mental health of teachers and the correlation between their well-being and mental health with the school climate. Specifically, the research examined teachers' self-assessment of their well-being and mental health, differences in self-assessment between male and female teachers according to the type of school they work in, their assessment of the school climate, and the correlation between a positive school climate and the well-being and mental health of teachers
TRADICIJSKA GLAZBA U USTANOVAMA RANOG I PREDŠKOLSKOG ODGOJA
The influence of music on the lives of children and adults has been recognized since ancient times. It awakens a sense of beauty in a person and enriches his life. Musical art is the most accessible to a child from birth, it awakens joy and warmth in him. Traditional music is one of the most important aspects of the culture of every nation. She followed and described the everyday events of people, that is why she is woven into every nation as a part of the past. Traditional songs and musical instruments are associated with traditional music. Today, traditional music is performed less than before. Through getting to know one's culture and traditions, positive attitudes are encouraged and preconditions for the development of interculturalism are created. One of the ways to preserve culture and tradition is to focus on its implementation in upbringing and education. One of the ways is the implementation of a traditional music project activity in a kindergarten. In this work, the children got to know traditional music through different activities and they showed great interest in such topics
PARTNERSTVO ŠKOLE I RODITELJA DJECE S TEŠKOĆAMA U RAZVOJU
Djeca s teškoćama u razvoju predstavljaju odgojni izazov roditeljima zbog nedovoljne educiranosti i upućenosti roditelja u potrebe djece. Children with developmental difficulties present an educational challenge for parents due to the lack of sufficient education and awareness of their children's needs. For children to develop adequately, it is extremely important for them to grow up in a positive family environment free of stress and anxiety. Parents encounter many stressors from the initial reaction to the birth of a child with difficulties, through the upbringing and encouragement of the child's development, to the challenges posed by the child's entry into school, which involves socializing with peers and managing school tasks. Depending on the needs arising from the child's difficulties, the school adjusts its program, content, and working methods and provides the child with the assistance of an educational aide. There are only a few institutions that offer help to parents and children with developmental difficulties, while a larger number of civil organizations have been established at the initiative of parents of children with developmental difficulties. One such institution is the Zagreb Rehabilitation Center, which offers assistance from a professional team where each expert has a specific role. The importance of cooperation between parents and experts is emphasized, with both parties informing each other about the child's progress. Institutions and organizations also encourage intersectoral cooperation, highlighting the importance of connecting health and social care institutions. Support for parents and their children with developmental disabilities is also provided by associations established through the initiative of parents. These associations encourage the development of the child and their socialization in the surrounding society through various programs, activities, and projects
The paper deals with the use of media in foreign language teaching, particularly in light of
the growing influence of the media on the upbringing and education of children. Teaching is a
dynamic process that is subject to more and more frequent changes. Due to the global
COVID-19 pandemic, the whole world had to switch aspects of its daily life from face-toface
communication to an online version of communication, with media playing a crucial role
in this transition. Media are used in many areas of life and play an important role in the
learning and teaching processes. The aim of the research, carried out in the form of an online
questionnaire, was to examine the attitudes of German Studies students at both the graduate
and undergraduate levels at the Faculty of Philosophy in Split. The aforementioned settings
are closely related to the media and their diverse use. It was concluded that students believe
that they do not have the possibility of education in this area. Classes are often an inadequate
example in which professors do not know enough about the media. This raises the question of
whether the role model being imitated is insufficiently competent. The study highlights the
need to invest more effort in the development of media education
HISTORY OF THE PUPPET THEATRE IN SPLIT
Puppetry is a form of theater performance in which puppeteers manipulate characters to tell a story and convey emotions. A fascinating art form with a long history and variety of styles, puppetry has always been used for entertainment, education and cultural expression in many different cultures around the world. The tradition of puppetry in Europe contributed to the development of the art of puppetry expression, techniques and styles that were later transferred and integrated into Croatian puppetry.
Using the methods of description and comparison, the paper presents the history of the puppet theater in Split, which dates back to the Middle Ages, when puppeteers and traveling troupes performed shows in the squares and streets of the city. Although the theater in Split faced challenges and changes over time, its importance as a cultural institution remained, and it is still a highly valued form of entertainment for local residents and visitors, thus contributing to the city's lively art scene.
Finally, puppetry criticism and the future of puppetry are closely related, creating a fusion of analysis, reflection and development of the art form. Through the continued collaboration of artists, audiences and critics, puppetry can continue to evolve, inspiring and challenging the world of art and culture
DEPICTION OF THE FIGURE IN FINE ARTS
Diplomski rad Prikaz figure u likovnoj umjetnosti Sanje Zirojević istražuje razvoj prikaza ljudske figure u umjetnosti kroz različite povijesne periode i stilove, počevši od prapovijesti do suvremene umjetnosti. Analizira kako su društvene, kulturne i estetske promjene oblikovale prikaz ljudskog tijela u umjetničkim djelima. Prvi prikazi, poput Willendorfske Venere, naglašavaju plodnost i religijske simbole. U Mezopotamiji i Egiptu, figure su prikazane kanonski, s ciljem stvaranja simboličkih predstava. Grčka i rimska umjetnost unose realizam i idealizaciju proporcija, prikazujući figuru u pokretu i s naglaskom na estetsku ljepotu. S dolaskom kršćanstva i bizantske umjetnosti, likovna figura postaje stilizirana, lišena pokreta i realističnosti. Renesansna umjetnost ponovno otkriva ljepotu ljudske figure, kroz studije anatomije i perspektive. Umjetnici prikazuju realistične i idealizirane figure. The thesis The Depiction of the figure in fine art by Sanja Zirojević explores the development of the depiction of the human figure throughout various historical periods and styles, from prehistory to contemporary art. Analyzed how social, cultural, and aesthetic changes have influenced the portrayal of the human body in art. Early depictions, such as the Venus of Willendorf, emphasize fertility and religious symbolism. In Mesopotamian and Egyptian art, figures were presented canonically, aiming for symbolic representation. Greek and Roman art introduced realism and idealized proportions, portraying the figure in motion with an emphasis on aesthetic beauty. With the advent of Christianity and Byzantine art, the figure became stylized, devoid of movement and realism. Renaissance art rediscovered the beauty of the human figure through studies of anatomy and perspective. Artists portrayed realistic and idealized figures. As modern artistic movements evolved, including Impressionism, Expressionism, Cubism, and Surrealism, the figure became a means for expressing subjective emotions and ideas. Abstract and conceptual art abandoned the classical depiction of the figure, focusing on ideas and processes. Conceptual art uses the body as a medium to convey messages, notably in movements such as performance and body art. The thesis highlights how the figure has remained a constant source of inspiration, adapting to various cultural and social changes
moralne rasprave izvan njihovih sposobnosti.
obrazovanja.
odluka. Ovaj rad promiče uključivanje filozofskih rasprava u škole, poticanje moralnog
razvoja i demokratskog dijaloga.
pridonijeti njihovu osobnom i intelektualnom razvoju. This paper explores ethical dilemmas, specifically in the context of philosophy with children.
It examines how children can engage in ethical thinking, challenging the traditional view that
complex moral debates are beyond their abilities. The work was written under the influence of
philosophers Matthew Lipman and John Dewey, who claim that children are capable of
participating in meaningful philosophical discussions that promote their moral and intellectual
growth. Through the chapters, key topics such as ethical and moral dilemmas, philosophy for
children (P4C), the role of imagination and education are addressed. The analysis emphasizes
how children, through guided philosophical research, can deal with ethical dilemmas.
Imagination is presented as a key tool for children in understanding and exploring different
ethical perspectives, allowing them to imagine different outcomes of their decisions. This work
promotes the inclusion of philosophical discussions in schools, encouraging moral
development and democratic dialogue. It advocates for the integration of philosophy in the
education of children, emphasizing that children are capable of dealing with ethical dilemmas,
which can significantly contribute to their personal and intellectual development
BRAĆA RADIĆ I BOSNA I HERCEGOVINA DO 1918.
This paper attempts to synthetically show the political views of the brothers Antun and Stjepan Radić regarding Bosnia and Herzegovina. Firstly, an overview of the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina is given, starting from its occupation, through the annexation, to the end of the Great War. Furthermore, considerations are presented about the relationship of Antun Radić with regards to Bosnia and Herzegovina, based on records from his travels to Bosnia and Herzegovina, articles published in the newspaper Dom and other newspapers, which he published until the end of the Great War. Lastly, the final part of this paper is dedicated to the thoughts and views of Stjepan Radić. Along with some details from his biography, the main part of the chapter is centered around the reconstruction of his views, presented in his booklet Živo hrvatsko pravo na Bosnu i Hercegovinu and his lectures in St. Petersburg and Moscow. Additionally, Radić's views on Serbian politics, as well as his political visions and positions after the annexation of Bosnia and during the Great War are also presented
Classification of personality disorders: categorical vs dimensional approach
The evolution of personality disorders stems back from the Ancient Greco-Roman world and is still ongoing, even though extensive research has already been done on their classification and diagnostic process. They are classified into two manuals; the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11), and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V). Their development is followed by many changes in nomenclature, classifications, diagnostic criteria, and approaches. This study evaluates those changes. It also accentuates the comparison between the two main approaches, categorical and dimensional, that are credible for the classification and diagnostic criteria in DSM V and ICD-11 that we have today. Moreover, this study explores and demonstrates the origin, characteristics, etiology, and prevalence of personality disorders, from their emergence up to now, in alignment with the theoretical framework.
WHICH GAMES WITH MICROTRANSACTIONS ARE MOST PREDICTIVE FOR GAMBLING SCORES?
Loot boxes are a consumable item which can be used to receive a randomized selection of further virtual items, or loot, ranging from simple customization options to game changing items which help the player. Gacha are like “loot boxes” but the difference is that they have a “pity” system which accumulates the number of times a gacha has been opened and gives a guaranteed item at a certain number of pulls, and they are mostly present in free to play video games. They offer the player limited items and characters which can only be obtained at that certain period, with the chance of obtaining such items being almost impossible to achieve if the player refuses to pay for a better chance at pulling for them. The main purpose of this study was to see if video-games with microtransactions can be good predictors of scoring higher on the SOGS Ra gambling questionnaire, and if so, which ones. An online questionnaire was completed by 208 participants, with 3 of them being deemed invalid. Out of all of them, 180 have played video-games with microtransactions. The findings have shown that none of the most frequently mentioned video-games have had a significant impact on the scores on the SOGS Ra questionnaire, and seems to point towards the problem connecting video-games and gambling not being a specific video-game itself, but something else. For future research, a study taking multiple potential risks for gambling, as well as their video-game counterparts could shine more light on the question of what exactly the trigger is.Loot boxes su predmeti u igricama koji se koriste za dobivanje nasumično odabranih virtualnih predmeta u rasponu od jednostavnih opcija promjene izgleda do predmeta koji mijenjaju igru i pomažu igraču.
