Japanese Folk Practices and Beliefs
This final thesis is about Japanese folklore. It provides examples from shugendō, a mountain based folk religion, and from the beliefs and stories about yōkai, Japanese ghosts. The idea of folklore and folk studies is explained, with a focus on Japanese folk studies. In this field of study, there is a word about the founder of Japanese folk studies, Yanagita Kunio, who is discussed in a couple of chapters. The goal of this thesis is to show the main characteristics of Japanese folklore and to delve in the psychology behind the folk practices. Therefore the themes are ghosts and ascetic practices whose purpose is to attain mystical powers. Through these examples, the thesis focuses on the very basics of folklore that remain unchanged throughout the centuries of Japanese history. They are, in fact, more of an all-world nature, and in Japan they are but a regional variant. At the same time they are universal and individual, therefore they are important for the understanding of human behavior, that is the essence of man
Neurodesign for marketing purposes

Neurodesign is an innovative discipline that combines neuroscience with design to create products, services, and marketing strategies optimized for the human brain. This interdisciplinary connection facilitates a better understanding of how consumers perceive, process, and remember information, ensuring that marketing becomes more effective and engaging. A key component of neurodesign is emotional engagement, which fosters a deep connection between brands and consumers, thereby increasing loyalty and encouraging repeat purchases. The application of neurodesign in marketing can be seen through the successful strategies of brands like Coca-Cola, Nike, and Apple. These brands leverage insights from neurodesign to create emotional messages and visual elements that resonate with consumers. For instance, Coca-Cola uses imagery of happiness and togetherness, while Nike inspires consumers to be active, and Apple emphasizes simplicity and innovation. These emotional and visual strategies allow brands to stand out in the marketplace and leave a lasting impression on their consumers.
In addition to emotional engagement, neurodesign relies on research into perception, attention, and memory, optimizing marketing materials to enhance engagement and capture attention. Effective use of colors, shapes, and typography can significantly boost the recognition and success of marketing campaigns. Moreover, digital tools enable brands to quickly test and adapt their strategies based on consumer behavior, further enhancing effectiveness. Neurodesign for marketing purposes represents a crucial component for brand success. Those who implement these strategies can not only create a strong emotional connection with consumers but also improve their marketing performance. Given the dynamic business environment and changing trends, the application of neurodesign is expected to continue growing, providing brands with a competitive advantage in the future

Unemployment in Republic of Croatia
Tržište rada odražava ekonomsko i socijalno stanje države, pri čemu je nezaposlenost ključni pokazatelj. Hrvatsko tržište rada suočava se s dugogodišnjim problemima poput niskog radnog vijeka, popularnosti prijevremenog umirovljenja i visoke nezaposlenosti, posebno među mladima i visokoobrazovanima. Ovi izazovi doprinose iseljavanju, demografskim problemima i nezadovoljstvu zajednice. Unatoč raspravama o rješenjima, napredak je ograničen. Potrebne su reforme obrazovnog i mirovinskog sustava, poticanje cjeloživotnog učenja, suradnja javnog i privatnog sektora te bolje upravljanje ljudskim resursima na nacionalnoj razini. The labor market reflects a country's economic and social conditions, with unemployment being a key indicator of economic activity and consumer power. Croatia’s labor market struggles with persistent issues like short working life, early retirement trends, and high unemployment rates, especially among young and highly educated individuals. These challenges contribute to broader economic constraints, social dissatisfaction, emigration, and demographic concerns. Despite prolonged discussions on solutions, tangible progress remains absent. Addressing these issues requires reforms in education and pension systems, improvements in lifelong learning, enhanced oversight, public-private sector collaboration, and better macro-level human resource management

Zdravstveni turizam u Hrvatskoj predstavlja rastući sektor koji spaja medicinske usluge s bogatom turističkom ponudom. Hrvatska, s dugom tradicijom lječilišnog turizma, povoljnim klimatskim uvjetima i prirodnim bogatstvima, postaje sve popularnija destinacija za zdravstvene turiste iz cijelog svijeta dok kvalificirani medicinski stručnjaci, moderna tehnologija i pristupačne cijene čine Hrvatsku atraktivnom destinacijom za zdravstvene turiste
Zdravstveni turizam donosi značajne ekonomske koristi Hrvatskoj.
The health culture of the local population is increasing, the infrastructure is improving and the quality of health services is being raised.
It is necessary to ensure a balance between commercial interests and the social component of the health care system. It is important that the development of health tourism does not threaten the availability of health care for the local population. Also, it is necessary to continuously invest in infrastructure, staff education and promotion on the international market.
Health tourism in Croatia has great potential for further growth and development. Quality medical services, natural beauty and rich cultural heritage make Croatia an attractive destination for health tourists. Fall of the Berlin Wall : nemam podnaslov
Berlinski zid
The Berlin Wall was built in the summer of 1961. The wall was built by the GDR authorities in order to stop the mass departure of citizens of East Berlin to the advanced and wealthier West Germany. The Berlin Wall was created in the context of the Cold War and was for many years a symbol of the Cold War bloc division of the European continent. That division was ideological and political - the eastern camp (communism) and the western camp (liberal democracy). Such a new geopolitical map of Europe was created by the agreement of the winning powers at the Potsdam Conference, which were: USA, France, Great Britain and Russia. The Iron Curtain is a popular term used for the boundary line that divided Europe into two separate political blocs; on one side was the bloc of Eastern European countries led by the Soviet Union, and the other bloc was represented by Western European countries and Greece and impartial Yugoslavia, which were in the sphere of interest of the United States of America. The Iron Curtain appeared almost immediately after the end of World War II and lasted until the end of the Cold War, which ended in 1990. The Berlin Wall stood in Berlin until November 11, 1989, when the residents of East Berlin tore it down. The main culprit for the demolition of the Berlin Wall is Gorbachev. His Perestroika and Glasnost were the main trigger of changes in the East German regime, and the government in the GDR changed "from below". The press from Yugoslavia reported on a daily basis about these changes and the people's peaceful revolutions that swept Europe at the end of the 20th century. Music and film also had great inspiration in the Berlin Wall. The band Scorpions and their song Wind of Change marked the fall of communism and the end of an era and the Cold War in Europe. In the 1990s, "Wind of Change" entered the charts throughout Europe and the USA. It also became a kind of musical background for the peaceful revolution that led to the collapse of the USSR. Skorpions were received in the Kremlin by Mikhail Gorbachev, the president of the USSR and the creator of Perestroika. Also, the band received a peace prize in Polan

The European regulatory framework for Fintech: lessons from the Wirecard case
Također, Wirecard slučaj ističe nam važnost internih kontrola, revizije i transparentnosti kao okosnica javnog povjerenja u financijski sektor i održivijeg razvoja Fintech industrije u Europi. The Fintech sector brings numerous innovations, but also specific risks, including shortcomings in the internal controls of companies, the complexity of technology and financial arrangements, and potential legal gaps in regulation.
The case of Wirecard, one of the European Fintech companies, describes the collapse of a seemingly promising Fintech company due to numerous problems in its corporate governance, such as weak internal controls, incomplete auditing and lack of transparency in financial statements. This failure highlighted the need for stricter regulatory oversight, clear audit practices and improved transparency in financial statements, and serves as a reminder to regulators that they need to be more agile in monitoring the dynamics of financial innovation in the Fintech sector.
One of the more important lessons of this case is the importance of creating regulatory solutions appropriate to innovations in Fintech, the focus of which should be on protecting users of Fintech services, as well as investors in the sector. Also, the Wirecard case highlights the significance of internal controls, auditing and transparency as the backbone of public trust in the financial sector and more sustainable development of the Fintech industry in Europe
