METODOLOGY OF DEVELOPMENT OF SPEED AND AGILITY OF YOUNG BASKETBALL PLAYERS
Košarka je jedan od najdinamičnijih sportova, a motoričke sposobnosti brzina i agilnost zauzimaju značajno mjesto u jednadžbi specifikacije košarke. Zbog toga nastojimo maksimalno razviti potencijale brzine i agilnosti mladih košarkaša. Jedino sustavan i metodički razvoj navedenih sposobnosti vodi do vrhunske izvedbe u kasnijim fazama sportske karijere i ključan je faktor u prevenciji ozljeda.
Razvoju motoričkih sposobnosti brzine i agilnosti potrebno je posvetiti posebnu pažnju ovisno o njihovim senzitivnim fazama razvoja. U prvim fazama dugoročne sportske pripreme, treba izgraditi čvrste temelje poštivajući razvojne karakteristike i osnovna načela kondicijskog treninga djece. Dok je u kasnijim fazama sportske pripreme potrebno pomoću sportsko-specifičnog treninga, kvalitetno prenijeti razvijene sposobnosti u seniorski uzrast.
Iako je brzina uvelike genetski determinirana, pravilnim i pravovremenim treningom brzina se može unaprijediti i razviti do željene razine. Proces razvoja agilnosti mladih košarkaša poželjno je usmjeriti na pravilnu tehniku izvedbe, te postupno unaprjeđivati ovisno o razvoju snage mladog sportaša.
Cilj rada je integrirati i sintetizirati postojeće spoznaje o metodici treninga brzine i agilnosti u razvojnim fazama košarkaša kako bi olakšali praktičan rad košarkaškim i kondicijskim trenerima, te spriječili potencijalne propuste u metodičkom razvoju brzine i agilnosti.Basketball is one of the most dynamic sports, and motor skills, speed and agility occupy a significant place in the basketball specification equation. Therefore, we strive to maximize the potential of speed and agility of young basketball players. Only the systematic and methodological development of these abilities leads to top performance in the later stages of a sports career and is a key factor in injury prevention.
Special attention should be paid to the development of motor skills of speed and agility, depending on their sensitive stages of development. In the first stages of long-term sports preparation, a solid foundation should be built, respecting the developmental characteristics and basic principles of children's fitness training. While in the later stages of sports preparation it is necessary to use sports-specific training, to transfer the developed skills to the senior age.
Although speed is largely genetically determined, with proper and timely training, speed can be improved and developed to the desired level.
The training process of developing the agility of young basketball players needs to be focused on the correct performance technique, and gradually improved depending on the development of the strength of the young athlete.
The aim of this paper is to integrate and synthesize existing knowledge on the methodology of speed and agility training in the developmental stages of basketball to facilitate the practical work of basketball and strength and conditioning coaches, and prevent potential failures in the methodological development of speed and agility
The effect of exercise on total daily energy expenditure
Uključivanje u organizirano tjelesno vježbanje često pokreću motivi poput mršavljenja i rekompozicije tijela. Poznato je da vježbanje utječe na povećanu potrošnju energije koja uz smanjeni unos kalorija utječe na smanjenje viška potkožnog masnog tkiva. Cilj ovog istraživanja je otkriti kako različite vrste vježbanja utječu na potrošnju energije i poništavaju li moguća kompenzatorna ponašanja učinke vježbanja na povećanje ukupnog dnevnog utroška energije. Sudjelovalo je ukupno 40 ispitanika, 22 žene i 18 muškaraca u dobi od 18-52 godine, koji su stanovnici urbane sredine Grada Zagreba i od ranije su uključeni u program vježbanja. Potrošnja energije mjerena je fitbit charge 3 uređajima. Kriterij za odabir validnih dana bio je minimalno nošenje uređaja 600 minuta preko dana odnosno 10 sati. Nakon provedene analize u završnom izračunu ostalo je ukupno 463 validna dana za sve ispitanike. Ispitanici su u prosjeku ostvarili između 3 i 14 validnih dana koji su kasnije poslužili za analize energetske potrošnje i prosječnog broja koraka. Rezultati prikupljeni fitbit charge 3 uređajima obrađeni su u programu Statistica uporabom metoda t-test i ANOVA. Rezultati pokazuju da vježbanje ima značajan utjecaj na povećanje energetske potrošnje u danu kada se provodi, što iznosi 24% kod muškaraca i gotovo 17% kod žena uspoređujući s danima u kojima se vježbanje nije provodilo. Utrošak energije, za muškarce, na dane vježbanja bio je u prosjeku 690,9 kcal veći u odnosu na dane bez vježbanja (p<0,01), a za žene 417,1 kalorija (p=0,15). Uočena je povećana potrošnja energije na dan nakon vježbanja uspoređujući s danom koji prethodi vježbanju međutim rezultati su statistički značajni samo u promatranoj skupini muškaraca (p<0,01), dok je kod žena (p=0,49). Nije uočena razlika u energetskoj potrošnji obzirom na različite vrste vježbanja. Tjelesno vježbanje ima značajan utjecaj na potrošnju energije na dan u kojemu se vježbanje provodi, što upućuje na važnost redovitog vježbanja pogotovo u kontekstu regulacije tjelesne težine. Za prikaz cjelokupne populacije potrebno je uključiti stanovnike ruralne sredine i osobe koje obavljaju fizičke poslove.Involvement in organized physical exercise is often driven by motives such as weight loss and body recomposition. It is known that exercise affects the increased consumption of energy, which in addition to reduced calorie intake affects the reduction of excess subcutaneous fat tissue. The aim of this research is to find out how different types of exercise affect energy expenditure and whether possible compensatory behaviors cancel out the effects of exercise on gincreasing total daily energy expenditure. A total of 40 respondents participated, 22 women and 18 men aged 18-52, who are residents of the urban environment of the City of Zagreb and have been involved in the exercise program for a long time. Energy consumption was measured with fitbit charge 3 devices. The criterion for choosing valid days was wearing the device for a minimum of 600 minutes during the day, or 10 hours. After the analysis, a total of 463 valid days remained for all respondents in the final calculation. On average, the respondents achieved between 3 and 14 valid days, which were later used for analyzes of caloric consumption and the average number of steps. The results collected by fitbit charge 3 devices were processed in the Statistica program using the t-test and ANOVA methods. The results show that exercise has a significant impact on increasing energy consumption on the day it is performed, which amounts to 24% in men and almost 17% in women compared to days in which no exercise was performed. Energy expenditure, for men, on days of exercise was on average 690.9 kcal higher than on days without exercise (p<0.01), and for women 417.1 calories (p=0.15). Increased energy consumption was observed on the day after exercise compared to the day before exercise, however, the results showed statistical significance only in men (p<0.01), while in women (p=0.49). No difference was observed in energy consumption due to different types of exercise. Physical exercise has a significant impact on energy consumption on the day of exercise, which points to the importance of regular exercise, especially in the context of weight regulation. DEVELOPMENT OF MOTOR AND FUNCTIONAL SKILLS OF PREPUBERTAL FOOTBALL PLAYERS
Glavni cilj ovog završnog rada je prikazati razvoj motoričkih i funkcionalnih sposobnosti kod nogometaša u pretpubertetu. Kroz obradu svih motoričkih sposobnosti nastojimo prikazati temelje za daljnji razvoj mladog nogometaša kada krene u period faze oblikovanja sportaša. Kroz cijeloviti prikaz vježbi za razvoj motoričkih sposobnosti nastojimo osigurati bazu za daljnji napredak. Funkcionalne sposobnosti nam daju uvod u razvoj kardiorespiratornog sustava kroz koji želimo stjecati osnovu za daljnji napredak u kasnijim fazama kondicijske pripreme.The main purpose of this undergraduate thesis is to show the development of motor and functional skills of prepubertal football players. By covering all motor skills. We are trying to show foundations for further development of a young football player at the beginning of the formation stage. Through a complete demonstration of exercises for development of motor skills we are trying to provide a basis for further development. Functional skills give us introduction into the development of the cardiorespiratory system, through which we would like to acquire a basis for further development in the later stages of physical conditioning
Rotator cuff muscles injuries and proposed kinesitherapy in their treatment
Ozljede ramena i mišića rotatorne manšete česta su pojava u sportu, rekreaciji i specifičnim zanimanjima zbog svojih biomehaničkih specifičnosti. U radu je predstavljena detaljna anatomija rotatorne manšete, polazišta, hvatišta i inervacija mišića, kao i njihova funkcija, što je od velike važnosti za razumijevanje mehanizama ozljeđivanja spomenutog tkiva. Prikazani su klinički testovi i različiti dijagnostički postupci koji predstavljaju polazište za kvalitetan kineziterapijski proces. Naglasak u ovom radu stavljen je na prevenciju ozljeda mišića rotatorne manšete i njihovo jačanje, odnosno vraćanje u optimalnu funkciju. Predstavljene su znanstveno potkrijepljene vježbe koje omogućuju stvaranje učinkovitog prevencijskog, rehabilitacijskog i općeg trenažnog procesa.Injuries of the shoulder and the rotator cuff muscles are a common occurrence in sports, recreation and specific professions due to their biomechanical properties. In this thesis, a detailed anatomy of the rotator cuff muscles is introduced, the origin point, insertion and the innervation of muscles, as well as function, which are of significant importance if we wish to understand the mechanism of how the muscle tissue can become damaged. Clinical tests and various diagnostic procedures which entail a starting point towards a quality kinesitherapy process are also presented in this thesis. The focal point of the thesis is on the prevention of rotator cuff injuries and the strengthening of the muscles, meaning the restoration of the muscle to its optimal functionality. In addition, exercises scientifically proven to enable an efficient, preventive, rehabilitative and general training process are also presented
Head and upper body injuries in alpine skiing
Alpsko skijanje svake je godine sve popularnije pa se sve više ljudi uključuje u ovaj zimski
sport. Kako raste broj sudionika koji se bave alpskim skijanjem na snijegu, tako raste i broj
ozljeda koje se događaju tijekom bavljenja ovim sportom. Najčešća ozljeda u alpskom skijanju
je ozljeda donjih ekstremiteta, točnije koljena.
U ovom radu pažnja je usmjerena na ozljede glave i gornjeg dijela tijela, jer se te ozljede također
pojavljuju i u nekim slučajevima su i kobne. Osim ozljeda glave u radu će se govoriti i o
ozljedama leđa, ramena, ključne kosti te čestoj ozljedi gornjeg dijela tijela, ozljedi ligamenta
ručnog palca.
Cilj ovog rada bio je opisati mehanizme nastanka ozljeda glave i gornjeg dijela tijela te prikazati
okolnosti koje su prethodile nastanku ozljeda. Isto tako cilj je navesti primjere kako smanjiti,
kako prevenirati nastanke pojedinih ozljeda kako bi se mogućnost ozljeđivanja skijaša smanjila.
Prevencija za ozljede glave nošenje je skijaške kacige, dok je kod ozljeda trupa prevencija još
nedovoljno istražena te su na tom području potrebna dodatna istraživanja. Postoje preporuke
kao što su pridržavanje pravila skijališta te generalnih smjernica: provjera skijaške opreme prije
skijanja, kondicijska priprema rekreativaca za skijanje te prestanak skijanja pri pojavi umora.Alpine skiing is becoming more and more popular every year, and more and more people are
getting involved in this winter sport. As the number of participants who engage in skiing grows,
so unfortunately does the number of injuries that occur during alpine skiing. The most common
injury in alpine skiing is an injury to the lower extremities, specifically the knee.
In this paper, the focus is on head and upper body injuries because these injuries are also
frequent, and in some cases fatal. In addition to head injuries, the paper will discuss injuries to
the back, shoulder, collarbone, and the common injury to the upper body, the thumb ligament
injury.
The aim of this paper was to describe the mechanisms of injury to the head and upper body,
and to present the circumstances that preceded the injury. Give examples of how to reduce or
prevent the occurrence of certain injuries in order to reduce the possibility of injuring skiers to
a minimum.
The prevention of head injuries is wearing a helmet, while the prevention of trunk injuries is
still insufficiently researched and further efforts are needed in this area. There are
recommendations such as adherence to ski resort rules and general guidelines: checking ski
equipment before skiing, fitness preparation of recreational skiers, stopping skiing when tired
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ACUTE AND CHRONIC LOAD RATIO BASED ON DIFFERENT VARIABLES WITH THE OCCURRENCE OF NONCONTACT INJURIES IN YOUNG FOOTBALL PLAYERS
Svrha istraživanja bila je utvrditi poveznicu kod objektivnih i subjektivnih parametara bilježenih GPS (eng. Global Positioning System) sustavom koji nam daje objektivne kvantitativne parametre na treningu/ utakmici odnosno subjektivnom procjenom opterećenja (ukupna prijeđena udaljenost (UU), udaljenost prijeđena visokim brzinama (UVB), broj akceleracija (AKC), trajanje treninga (TT), ukupno opterećenje (UO), omjer akutnog i kroničnog opterećenja (OAKO (UU), OAKO (UVB), OAKO (AKC), OAKO (SP), OAKO (UO) u tjednima sa i bez ozljede. Za analizu podataka dobivenih ovim istraživanjem koristio se softverski program z TIBCO Statistica v.13 (TIBCO Statistica Inc, OK, USA). Za sve mjerene parametre izračunata je aritmetička sredina (AS) i standardna devijacija (SD) dok je normalnost distribucije testirana Kolmogorov-Smirnovim postupkom. Za utvrđivanje razlika između istoimenih varijabli objektivnog i subjektivnog trenažnog opterećenja u tjednima bez i sa zabilježenom ozljedom koristio se t-test za zavisne uzorke, razina statističke značajnosti postavljena je na p<0,05. Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju na statistički značajne razlike između varijabli: ukupna prijeđena udaljenost (UU), broj akceleracija (AKC), kod omjera akutnog i kroničnog opterećenja (OAKO) kod varijabli ukupna prijeđena udaljenost (UU) i broj akceleracija (AKC) u tjednima sa i bez ozljede. S druge strane, nema statistički značajnih razlika između varijabli trčanje visokim intenzitetom, trajanje treninga, ukupno opterećenje, omjer akutnog i kroničnog opterećenja (OAKO (UVB), OAKO (SP), OAKO (UO) u tjednima s i bez ozljede. Preporuka je da se u praksi koristi GPS sustav kao sredstvo kontrole opterećenja, ali ako klub nema mogućnosti, RPE upitnik može također potencijalno ukazati na povećani rizik za ozljeđivanje.The purpose of the research was to determine the link between objective and subjective parameters recorded by the GPS (Global Positioning System) system, which provides us with objective quantitative parameters during training/match, i.e. subjective load assessment (total distance traveled (UU), distance traveled at high speeds (HSD) , number of accelerations (ACC), duration of training (TT), total load (TL), ratio of acute and chronic load (ACWR (TD), ACWR (HSD), ACWR (ACC), ACWR (SD), ACWR (TL) in weeks with and without injury. The software program z TIBCO Statistica v.13 (TIBCO Statistica Inc, OK, USA) was used to analyze the data obtained in this study. For all measured parameters, the arithmetic mean (AS) and standard deviation (SD) were calculated, while the normality of the distribution was tested by the Kolmogorov-Smirn procedure. T-test was used to determine the differences between objective and subjective training load variables of the same name in weeks without and with a recorded injury for dependent samples, the level of statistical significance was set at p<0.05. The obtained results indicate statistically significant differences between the variables: total distance traveled (TD), number of accelerations (ACC), in the ratio of acute to chronic load (ACWR) in the variables total distance traveled (TD) and number of accelerations (ACC) in weeks with and without injury. On the other hand, there are no statistically significant differences between the variables high-intensity running, duration of training, total load, ratio of acute to chronic load (ACWR (HSD), ACWR (SD), ACWR (TL) in weeks with and without injury. It is recommended that in practice uses a GPS system as a means of load control, but if the club does not have the option, the RPE questionnaire can also potentially indicate an increased risk for injury
ANALYSIS OF THE DIFFERENCES IN THE COMPETITIVE PERFORMANCES OF WINNERS AT GRAND SLAM TOURNAMENTS: AUSTRALIAN OPEN, ROLAND GARROS AND WIMBLEDON IN 2021
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada bio je analizirati razlike u pokazateljima natjecateljske učinkovitosti pobjednika na Grand Slam turnirima Australian Open, Roland Garros i Wimbledon u 2021. godini. Svaki se od tri turnira igra na drugačijoj podlozi. U ovom smo istraživanju promatrali igru pobjednika triju Grand Slam turnira u 2021. godini. Na svakom od turnira odigrao je po sedam mečeva, pa su na ukupno 21 meču prikupljeni podaci o njegovoj natjecateljskoj uspješnosti. Praćeno je 13 varijabli koje su osnovni standardni pokazatelji natjecateljske izvedbe u tenisu. Statistički značajne razlike dobivene su među sva tri turnira dominantno u varijablama koje se odnose na izvedbu servisa. Uz varijable koje se odnose na izvedbu prvog i drugog servisa, u varijabli postotak osvojenih bodova na prvom servisu također su dobivene statistički značajne razlike između turnira Australian Open i Wimbledon. Roland Garros i Wimbledon statistički se razlikuju samo u jednoj varijabli, a to je prosječna brzina drugog servisa. Australian Open i Roland Garros statistički se razlikuju u sve četiri varijable koje se odnose na izvedbu prvog i drugog servisa. Statistički značajne razlike dobivene su zbog razlike u podlogama budući da se Australian Open održava na tvrdoj podlozi, Roland Garros na zemljanoj podlozi, a Wimbledon na travnatoj podlozi. Loptica se na svakoj od te tri podloge odbija pod drugačijim kutom te zbog toga brzina leta loptice varira od podloge do podloge. U radu je definiran model natjecateljske izvedbe koji može biti kriterij za sve igrače koji pretendiraju osvojiti najveće turnire na svijetu.The aim of this thesis was to analyze the differences in the competitive performance of the winner at the Grand Slam tournaments Australian Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon in 2021. Every of the three tournaments are held on different surfaces. The participant in this research is the winner of the three Grand Slam tournaments in 2021. In each of the tournaments, he played seven matches, so the data were collected in the total of 21 matches. Thirteen variables were observed that represent basic standard indicators of competitive performance in tennis. Statistically significant differences were obtained among all the tournaments, predominantly in the variables related to service performance. In addition to the variables related to the performance of the first and second serves, in the variable percentage of points won on the first serve there was also a statistically significant difference between the Australian Open and Wimbledon tournaments. Roland Garros and Wimbledon differred statistically in only one variable, which is average speed of the second serve. The Australian Open and Roland Garros were statistically different in all the four variables related to the first and second serve performance. Statistically significant differences occurred due to the difference in court surfaces because the Australian Open is held on a hard surface, Roland Garros on a clay surface, and Wimbledon on a grass surface. Different court surfaces are reasons why the ball bounces off them at a different angle, and because of this, speed of the ball varies from surface to surface. The paper defines a competitive performance model that can be a criterion for all players who aspire to win the biggest tournaments in the world
DIFFERENCES IN THE WEEKLY TRAINING LOAD OF COMPETITORS IN MIXED MARTIAL SPORTS
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je analizirati razlike u tjednom trenažnom opterećenju specifičnih treninga hrvanja, savate boksa i mješovitih borilačkih sportova (MMA). U istraživanje je uključeno 11 muških sportaša natjecatelja iz mješovitih borilačkih sportova. Svi ispitanici sportaši su u dobi 26 ± 6 godine starosti. Svaki tjedan, u periodu od ponedjeljka do petka, odraĎen je jedan trening dnevno. Treninzi su provoĎeni istovremeno za sve ispitanike. Ispitanici tijekom istraživanja nisu provodili nikakve druge sportske aktivnosti. Subjektivni osjećaj opterećenja mjeren je nakon svakog treninga, a upitnik blagostanja svako jutro nakon buĎenja. Četvrti trenažni dan provoĎeno je mjerenje razine koncentracije laktata u krvi i skoka s pripremom prije i nakon treninga. Ukupno tjedno opterećenje je statistički značajno veće (p < 0,001) u tjednu hrvanja (2871,8 AJ) u odnosu na tjedan savate boksa (2323,6 AJ). Nisu utvrĎene statistički značajne razlike u ukupnom tjednom opterećenju izmeĎu tjedna savate boksa i mješovitih borilačkih sportova (MMA) (2585,5 AJ). Koncentracija laktata u krvi nakon treninga savate boksa iznosila je 2,7 ± 1,2 mmol/l, mješovitih borilačkih sportova (MMA) 8,2 ± 3,3 mmol/l i hrvanja 9,7 ± 2,1 mmol/l. Povećanje koncentracije laktata u krvi nakon treninga savate boksa (p = 0,023) bilo je statistički značajno manje u odnosu na povećanje koncentracije laktata u krvi nakon treninga mješovitih borilačkih sportova (MMA) (p < 0,001) i hrvanja (p < 0,001). Nije bilo statistički značajne razlike u povećanju koncentracije laktata u krvi izmeĎu treninga mješovitih borilačkih sportova (MMA) (p < 0,001) i hrvanja (p < 0,001). Skok s pripremom nakon treninga savate boksa iznosi 38 ± 5,2 cm, nakon treninga hrvanja 38,7 ± 7,2 cm, a nakon treninga mješovitih borilačkih sportova (MMA) 38,8 ± 7,1 cm. Statistički značajnih razlika u povećanju visine skoka s pripremom izmeĎu pojedinih mikrociklusa treninga, nije bilo. Prosječni tjedni rezultati u upitniku blagostanja nisu se statistički značajno razlikovali po tjednim mikrociklusima pojedinih sportova. Rezultati u ovom istraživanju mogu poslužiti za kvalitetnije programiranje trenažnih mikrociklusa natjecatelja u mješovitim borilačkim sportovima.The aim of this thesis is to analyze the differences in the weekly training load of specific wrestling, boxing and mixed martial arts training. 11 male athletes competing in mixed martial arts were included in the research. All test subjects are athletes aged 26 ± 6 years. Every week, in the period from Monday to Friday, one training session was done per day. The trainings were conducted simultaneously for all respondents. The respondents did not perform any other sports activities during the research. The subjective feeling of exertion was measured after each training session, and the well-being questionnaire was measured every morning after waking up. On the fourth training day, blood lactate concentration and jump with preparation before and after training were measured. The total weekly load is statistically significantly higher (p < 0.001) in the week of wrestling (2871.8 AJ) compared to the week of boxing (2323.6 AJ). No statistically significant differences were found in the total weekly workload between the weeks of boxing and mixed martial arts (2585.5 AJ). The concentration of lactate in the blood after boxing training was 2.7 ± 1.2 mmol/l, mixed martial arts 8.2 ± 3.3 mmol/l and wrestling 9.7 ± 2.1 mmol/l. The increase in lactate concentration in the blood after boxing training (p = 0.023) was statistically significantly lower than the increase in blood lactate concentration after mixed martial arts training (p < 0.001) and wrestling (p < 0.001). There were no statistically significant differences in the increase in blood lactate concentration between mixed martial arts training (p < 0.001) and wrestling (p < 0.001). The jump with preparation after training in boxing is 38 ± 5.2 cm, after training in wrestling is 38.7 ± 7.2 cm, and after training in mixed martial arts is 38.8 ± 7.1 cm. There were no statistically significant differences in the increase in jump height with preparation between individual training microcycles. The average weekly results in the well-being questionnaire did not differ statistically significantly according to the weekly microcycles of individual sports. The results of this research can be used for better programming of training microcycles of competitors in mixed martial arts
The role and significance of sports and recreational facilities in expanding the tourist offer in protected areas of nature
Obilježje velikog broja turističkih destinacija je sezonalnost. Sezonalnost između ostalog utječe na neravnomjernu distribuciju turističkog prometa. Kako bi se umanjili negativni utjecaji i smanjila sezonalnost, razvijaju se specifični oblici turizma. Jedan od specifičnih oblika turizma je sportski turizam. Brojna turistička odredišta, pa i zaštićena područja prirode, kreiraju široki spektar različitih sportsko-rekreacijskih sadržaja kako bi privukli što veći broj posjetitelja. Stoga je cilj ovog rada ustanoviti ulogu i značaj sportsko-rekreacijskih sadržaja u proširenju turističke ponude u zaštićenim područjima prirode. Sukladno tome u radu se prikazuju temeljne značajke selektivnog turizma, osnovne karakteristike sportskog turizma i sportske rekreacije te suvremeni trendovi u turizmu. Uz to, u radu se analizira turistička ponuda zaštićenih područja prirode Republike Hrvatske i predlaže novi sportsko-rekreacijski sadržaj u funkciji proširenja iste.Seasonality is a characteristic of a large number of tourist destinations. It affects, among other, the uneven distribution of tourist traffic. In order to undermine the negative impacts and reduce seasonality, specific forms of tourism are being developed. One of the specific forms of tourism is sports tourism. Numerous tourist destinations, including protected nature areas, create a wide range of different sports and recreational content in order to attract as many visitors as possible. Therefore, the goal of this text is to establish the role and significance of sports and recreational content in expanding the tourist offer in protected areas of nature. In the paper (text), the basic features of selective tourism, the basic characteristics of sports tourism and sports recreation and contemporary trends in tourism are presented. In addition, the paper (text) analyzes the tourist offer of protected nature areas of the Republic of Croatia and suggests new sports and recreational content as means to expand it
ANTHROPOLOGICAL STATUS OF RECREATIONAL TRAINEES AND NON-TRAINEES FROM 20 TO 40 YEARS DURING COVID PANDEMIC
Pojavom pandemije covida zbog izolacijskih i restrikcijskih mjera dolazi do velikih zatvaranja. Zatvara se gotovo svaki sportski objekt i fitnes centar u svijetu. Zatvaranjem navedenih objekta, te raznih povezanih aktivnosti dodatno se otežava rekreativno bavljenje fitnesom i rekreativnim sportom. Velik broj zdravih rekreativaca, koji su se redovito bavili tjelesnom aktivnošću i rekreativno vježbali, postaje neaktivno. Manji dio zdravih rekreativaca ipak ostaje aktivan kod kuće ili na otvorenom. Brojna dosadašnja istraživanja su dokazala da tjelesna neaktivnost sama po sebi negativno utječe na antropološki status, a samim time i na zdravstveni status, koji je već ugrožen zbog pojave pandemije. Zbog navedenog, bitno je istaknuti važnost redovite tjelesne aktivnosti i rekreativnog bavljenja fitnesom, te njihov pozitivan utjecaj na sastavnice antropološkog statusa.With the onset of covid pandemic due to isolation and restrictive measures, large closures occur. Almost every sports facility and fitness center in the world is closing. The closure of these facilities and various related activities further hardens recreational fitness and sports. A larger number of healthy individuals who regularly engage in physical activity and exercise recreationally are becoming inactive. However, a small number of healthy recreational individuals remain active at home or outdoors. Numerous studies to date have shown that physical inactivity in itself negatively affects the anthropological status, and thus the health status already threatened by the pandemic. Due to the above, its important to emphasize the importance of regular physical activity, recreational fitness, and their positive impact on the components of anthropological status
