STATUS AND PERSPECTIVES OF SPORTS DEVELOPMENT IN NOVI MAROF
Strateško upravljanje važan je čimbenik svakog segmenta modernog društva pa tako i sporta. Većina lokalnih sredina u Republici Hrvatskoj koristi značajne financijske resurse kako bi uspostavila kvalitetan i efikasan sustav sporta. Strateški pristup podrazumijeva analizu stanja svih segmenata sporta važnih za daljnje funkcioniranje sustava te definiranje ciljeva koje je potrebno ostvariti u određenom vremenskom periodu. Sustav sporta u Novom Marofu analiziran je u nekoliko segmenata koji su važni za daljnji razvoj sporta. Utvrđeni su trenutni pokazatelji stanja sporta u Novom Marofu u različitim segmentima, poput natjecateljskog sporta, školskog sporta, infrastrukture i financija.Strategic management is an important factor in every segment of modern society, including sports. Most local communities in the Republic of Croatia use significant financial resources in order to establish a quality and efficient sports system. Differences in motor skills in preschool children enrolled in various sport programs
Cilj istraživanja Razlike u motoričkim znanjima djece vrtićke dobi uključene u različite sportske programe bio je utvrditi razliku u motoričkim znanjima djece predškolske dobi koja su uključena u različite organizirane programe tjelesnog vježbanja (univerzalna sportska škola i sportski klubovi i ostali programi tjelesnog vježbanja) i djece koja ne vježbaju organizirano. Uzorak se ispitanika sastojao od 960 djece u dobi 3 – 6 godina (djevojčice i dječaci) uključenih u vrtićki program diljem Republike Hrvatske. Istraživanje je provedeno u dva dijela. U prvom dijelu roditelji su ispunili sociodemografski upitnik i opći upitnik o sudjelovanju djeteta u sportskim aktivnostima, a u drugom dijelu provedena su mjerenja motoričkih znanja i sposobnosti djece vrtićke dobi. Provjeravane su razine lokomotornih i manipulativnih znanja ovisno o uključenosti u pojedini sportski program ili, s druge strane, neuključenosti. Prije samog izvođenja zadatka, mjeritelj je svakom djetetu dao jasnu uputu (verbalnu i demonstracijsku) kako pravilno izvesti zadatak. Nakon toga djeca izvode zadatke jedan po jedan. Mjerenja motoričkih znanja djece predškolske dobi provedena su pomoću TGMD-2 baterije testova („Test of Gross Motor Development 2“). Razlike između grupa vježbača uključenih u univerzalnu sportsku školu, sportske klubove i djece koja nisu uključena u organizirane oblike vježbanja, utvrđene su analizom varijance (one-way ANOVA). Analizirani su rezultati u TGMD2 bateriji testova kod djece uključene u univerzalnu sportsku školu, sportske klubove i djece koja nisu uključena u organizirane oblike vježbanja, te je utvrđeno da ne postoje statistički značajne razlike u ukupnom motoričkom razvoju. No, postoje razlike u pojedinačnim testovima baterije TGMD2 i to u skoku u dalj, bacanju lopte, hvatanju lopte i udarcu lopte nogom u korist djece uključene u univerzalnu sportsku školu i sportske klubove. Poželjno je uključiti djecu od najranije dobi u organizirane programe vježbanja koje vode stručne osobe, u ovom slučaju kineziolozi koji će se potruditi usmjeriti djecu i upoznati ih sa svim prednostima i blagodatima tjelovježbene aktivnosti.The purpose of Researching the difference in the level of motor skills between the preschoolers involved in different sports activities was to determine the difference in the motor skills between the preschoolers who were involved in different organized physical activities (universal school of sport and sports clubs, including other physical activity programs) and the preschoolers not involved in such sports activities. The respondent consisted of 960 children aged 3 – 6 (both male and female), who were a part of the public kindergarten system in Croatia. The research was conducted in two parts. In the first part, the parents of the children were asked to fill out the sociodemographic questionnaire and the questionnaire about their kids' involvement in sports activities. The second part consisted of measuring the respondents' motor abilities. The locomotor and manipulative skills levels were checked depending on whether they were engaging in sports activities. Prior to the task, the respondents were given clear instructions on how to perform the task (both verbal and demonstration). Measuring of the motor skills was conducted using a TGMD-2 battery of tests („Test of Gross Motor Development 2“). The difference between the group of respondents involved in the universal school of sports and sports clubs and the respondents that were not involved in any organized sports activities were determined using ANOVA one-way variance. The results of the TGMD 2 battery of tests indicated that there are no statistically significant differences between the respondents involved in universal sports schools, and sports clubs and the ones not involved in it. However, there was a difference in specific TGMD2 tests that involved long jump, ball throwing, ball catching, and ball kicking in favor of the respondents engaged in organized sports activities. It is preferable to apply the children from an early age in different sports clubs and the universal school of sports that are being led by educated individuals, especially kinesiologists that will try to point the children in the right direction and familiarize them with all the advantages of physical activity
DIFFERENCES IN EXPLOSIVE STRENGTH OF CHILDREN COMPETITORS OF THE SAME AGE IN ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS AND FOOTBALL
Cilj ovog rada bio je ustanoviti razlike u eksplozivnoj jakosti između gimnastičara i nogometaša pomoću tri testa; sprint na 20 metara, skok u dalj s mjesta i bacanje medicinke s grudiju iz sjeda raznožno. Uzorak ispitanika sastojao se od 26 sportaša, od kojih je 14 nogometaša i 12 gimnastičara. Pretpostavka je da će gimnasatičari imati bolje rezutate u skoku u dalj s mjesta, kod bacanja medicinke rezultati bi mogli biti podjednaki, a kod sprinta bi uspješniji mogli biti nogometaši. Istraživanja su potvrdila hipotezu kod skoka u dalj s mjesta, gdje su rezultati i statistički značajni u korist gimnastičara. Kod bacanja medicinke i sprinta također bolje rezultate postižu gimnastičari, ali kod ove dvije varijable nemamo statistički značajne rezultate. Zbog specifičnosti gimnastike te rane specijalizacije i naglsaska na eksplozivnu jakost (koja nikako nije zanemariva u nogometu), mogli bi na neki način opravdati dobivene rezultate u korist gimnastičara.The aim of this paper was to establish differences in explosive strength between gymnasts and football players using three tests; sprint at 20 meters, standing long jump and seated off the chest medicine ball throw. The sample consisted of 26 athletes, of whom 14 were footballers and 12 were gymnasts. The assumption is that gymnasts will have better results in the standing long jump, when throwing medicine ball the results could be the same, and with sprints footballers could be more successful. Studies have confirmed the hypothesis in standing long jump from the place, where the results are also statistically significant in favor of gymnasts. Gymnasts also achieve better results in seated medicine ball throw and sprint, but with these two variables we do not have statistically significant results. Due to the specifics of gymnastics and early specialization and the emphasis on explosive strength (which is by no means negligible in football), we could in some way justify the results obtained in favor of gymnasts
Thermoregulation in children during exercise
Dobrobit tjelesne aktivnosti i njezin pozitivan utjecaj na zdravlje dobivaju sve veću popularnost posljednjih godina u općoj populaciji. Poznato je da tjelesna aktivnost ukoliko se provodi redovito može dovesti do unaprijeđenja tjelesnog i psihičkog zdravlja te do sprječavanja niza kardiovaskularnih i metaboličkih bolesti. Tijekom provedbe bilo kakve vrste aktivnosti od iznimne je važnosti održati homeostazu, odnosno ravnotežu organizma kako bi svi sustavi skladno funkcionirali. Neravnoteža u organizmu može se odraziti na izvedbu koja u konačnici može završiti čak i fatalno. Djeca su, kao i odrasli, aktivni sudionici u području tjelesne aktivnosti te je početak ulaska u trening dosta pomaknut i djeca sve mlađa započinju trenažni proces. Obzirom da je organizam djeteta anatomski i fiziološki drugačiji od odraslog, promjene tijekom rasta i sazrijevanja dovode do drugačijeg odgovora organizma na tjelesni napor, nego kod odrasle osobe te takve promjene utječu i na termoregulaciju tijekom odmora i vježbanja. Ovaj rad za cilj ima prikazati što se događa u organizmu djece kada temperatura tijela raste prilikom mišićnog rada, kako se temperatura mijenja u različitim uvjetima okoliša, kako se odražava na zdravstveni status djeteta i kao posljednje, koje su preporuke za vježbanje ovisno o uvjetima u okolišu.The benefits of physical activity and its positive impact on health have gained increasing popularity in the general population in recent years. It is known that physical activity, if carried out regularly, can lead to improvement of physical and mental health and to decrease of a number of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. During the implementation of any type of activity, it is extremely important to maintain homeostasis, i.e., the balance of the organism, so that all systems function harmoniously. An imbalance in the body can affect the performance, which can ultimately even end fatally. Children, like adults, are active participants in the field of physical activity, the start of training is quite early, and children start with the training process at a younger age. Since a child's body is anatomically and physiologically different than an adult's, changes during growth and maturation lead to a different response of the body to physical effort than in adults, and such changes affect thermoregulation during rest and exercise as well. The aim of this thesis is to show what happens in the body of children when the body temperature rises during muscle work, how the temperature changes in different environmental conditions, how this is reflected on the child's health status and, finally, what the recommendations for exercise are, depending on the environmental conditions
SATISFACTION WITH STUDIES AND SELF-ASSESSMENT OF COMPETENCE AFTER GRADUATION FROM THE FACULTY OF KINEZIOLOGY
Cilj istraživanja bio je ispitati kako pojedinci koji su diplomirali na Kineziološkom fakultetu u Zagrebu percipiraju svoju kompetentnost za rad i koliko su iz perspektive zahtjeva radne uloge kineziologa zadovoljni studijem. Ispitat će se postoje li razlike u navedenom s obzirom na spol i primarno usmjerenje. Za obradu podataka koristile su se metode deskriptivne statistike i analiza varijance. Provedeno je istraživanje na uzorku od 101 magistra kineziologije. Prikupljeni su podaci o zadovoljstvu znanjima i vještinama stečenima na Kineziološkom fakultetu, studentskoj praksi i izvannastavnim aktivnostima, te koliko su sudionici sigurni da uspješno mogu obavljati pojedine zadatke vezane uz praktičan rad u struci. Dobiveni rezultati pokazuju kako su kineziolozi uglavnom zadovoljni znanjima i vještinama stečenima za vrijeme studija, iako među odgovorima postoje i određena odstupanja. Od ukupnog broja sudionika, njih 84,12% bilo je uključeno u određeni oblik izvannastavnih aktivnosti, te smatraju kako im je taj oblik aktivnosti omogućio stjecanje novih vještina za budući rad u praksi. Pokazalo se da postoji statistički mala razlika u procjeni zadovoljstva i kompetentnosti za rad s obzirom na spol u korist ženskih ispitanika, dok je kod zadovoljstava studijem i procjene kompetentnosti za rad s obzirom na završeno usmjerenje vidljiva značajnija statistička razlika u korist usmjerenja kineziološke rekreacije.The goal of this research was to examine how individuals who graduated from the Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb perceive their competence for work, as well as how satisfied they are with their studies from the perspective of the requirements for the work role of a kinesiologist. It will be examined whether there are differences in the above regarding to gender and the chosen study program. The methods of descriptive statistics and analysis of variance were used for data processing. The research was conducted on a sample of 101 masters in kinesiology. Data was collected on satisfaction with the knowledge and skills acquired at the Faculty of Kinesiology, at student practices and extracurricular activities, and how certain the participants are that they can successfully perform certain tasks related to practical work in the profession. The obtained results show that kinesiologists are mostly satisfied with the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies, although there are certain deviations among the answers. Of the total number of participants, 84.12% were involved in a certain form of extracurricular activities, and they believe that this form of activity enabled them to acquire new skills for future work. It was shown that there is a statistically small difference in the assessment of satisfaction and competence for work regarding to gender in favor of female participants, while in the case of satisfaction with studies and assessment of competence for work regarding to the completed study programs a more significant statistical difference is visible in favor of those who completed the study program of sports recreation
IMPACT OF PROGRAMMED RECREATIONAL EXERCISE PROGRAM ON MOTOR SKILLS IN A PERSON WITH CEREBRAL PALSY
Cerebralna paraliza (paralysis cerebralis) je stanje koje se odlikuje lošom kontrolom mišića, spazmom ili ukočenošću mišića, paralizom i drugom neurološkim manjkavostima koje nastaju uslijed oštećenja mozga tijekom trudnoće, za vrijeme i poslije poroda, odnosno prije pete godine života. Kroz programirani program rekreativnog vježbanja prikazan je utjecaj na razvoj određenih motoričkih sposobnosti, točnije snagu i fleksibilnost kod osobe oboljele od cerebralne paralize.Cerebral paralisys (paralisys cerebralis) is a condition that is characterized by poor muscle control, spasm or muscle stiffness, paralysis and other neurological deficiencies that arise due to brain damage during pregnancy, during and after childbirth, that is, before the age of five. REHABILITATION AFTER RECONSTRUCTION OF THE ANTERIOR CRUCIATE LIGAMENT
Koljeno je najkompleksniji kutno-obrtni zglob koji trpi najveća opterećenja i upravo zbog toga je sklon različitim ozljedama. Rupture prednje ukrižene sveze (engl. Anterior cruciate ligament – ACL) čine 50 % svih ozljeda koljena kod sportaša. Rehabilitacijski proces rupture ACL-a nema standardizirane protokole već okvirne smjernice za vođenje kroz rehabilitaciju koja traje šest do osamnaest mjeseci. Sa druge strane veliki zdravstveni problem u sportu čine sve učestaliji recidivi ruptura ACL-a koji se u najvećem postotku javljaju u nogometu, iako je incidencija u porastu i kod drugih sportova. Prepoznavanje rizičnih čimbenika poput neuroloških i biomehaničkih promjena, psiholoških faktora te umora ključno je u cilju smanjenja incidencije. Razdoblje između šestog i devetog mjeseca nakon rekonstrukcije ACL-a prema brojnim istraživanjima je najznačajnije za provođenje programa vježbi za redukciju pojavnosti recidiva.
U radu je naveden detaljan opis rizičnih čimbenika, koji povećavaju postotak recidiva, te prikaz funkcionalne faze rehabilitacije koja će se koristiti za adaptaciju sportaša na te čimbenike i tako posljedično smanjiti njihov utjecaj na pojavnost reruptura. Ovim radom je opisan novi smjer utjecaja različitih oblika vježbi na postojeće rizične faktore i zabrinjavajuću stopu recidiva rupture ACL-a.The knee is the most complex angular-rotary joint that tolerates the greatest loads, and precisely because of this, it is prone to various injuries. Ruptures of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) account for 50 % of all knee injuries in athletes. The rehabilitation process of an ACL rupture doesn't have standardized protocols, but rather basic guidelines to guiding through a six to eighteen months recovery. On the other hand, a major health problem in sports is the increasingly frequent recurrence of ACL ruptures, which occur in the highest percentage in football, although the incidence is increasing in other sports as well. Recognizing risk factors such as neurological and biomechanical changes, psychological factors and fatigue is crucial in order to reduce the incidence. According to numerous studies, the period between the sixth and ninth months after ACL reconstruction is the most important for implementing an exercise program to reduce the incidence of recurrence.
The thesis provides a detailed description of risk factors that increase the percentage of relapses, as well as a presentation of a functional phase of rehabilitation that will be used to adapt athletes to these factors and thus reduce their impact on the incidence of rerupture. This thesis describes a new direction of influence of different forms of exercise on existing risk factors and the worrying rate of recurrence of ACL rupture
The influence of programmed exercise tasks on the physical activity of students during self-isolation in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic
Uvod i cilj
Početkom 2020. godine cijeli svijet zahvatila je pandemija izazvana virusom COVID-19. Virus je u kratkom vremenu zarazio izrazito veliki broj ljudi te utjecao na rad svih javnih djelatnosti pa tako i sustava školstva. Zbog sve većeg broja zaraženih učenika uvedena je mjera samoizolacije za cijeli razredni odjel kako bi se suzbilo daljnje širenje virusa. Provođenje nastave na daljinu stvorilo je mnoge otežavajuće čimbenike koji su ograničavali kvalitetnu provedbu nastave Tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture (TZK). Jedan od načina održavanja razine tjelesne aktivnosti učenika tijekom nastave na daljinu bio je provođenje programiranih tjelovježbenih zadataka putem platformi za učenje na daljinu. Učitelji TZK isplanirali su provedbu tjelovježbenih zadataka te pomoću mobilnih aplikacija za mjerenje koraka pratili tjelesnu aktivnost učenika.
Stoga je cilj ovoga rada istražiti utjecaj programiranih tjelovježbenih zadataka na razinu tjelesne aktivnosti učenika tijekom samoizolacije usred COVID-19 pandemije.
Metode
Učenici 6. i 8. razreda osnovne škole podijeljeni su u dvije skupine. Jednu skupinu čine razredni odjeli kojima je izrečena mjera samoizolacije u trajanju od 10 dana (23 učenika). Drugu skupinu čine učenici koji su nastavu provodili standardno u školi (19 učenika). Učenici u samoizolaciji upućeni su u provedbu programiranih tjelovježbenih aktivnosti. Učenici u školi provodili su standardnu nastavu TZK. Svi učenici upućeni su u praćenje broja koraka tijekom 5 dana pomoću mobilnih aplikacija.
Rezultati
Rezultati ukazuju kako nije bilo razlike u tjednom broju koraka kod učenika koji su nastavom na daljinu provodili programirane tjelovježbene sadržaje od tjednog broja koraka učenika koji su sudjelovali u redovitoj kontaktnoj nastavi Tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture. Učenici u samoizolaciji u prosjeku su napravili 32381±3913 koraka tjedno, dok su učenici koji nisu bili u samoizolaciji napravili 31081±4317 koraka tjedno. Vrijednosti standardnih devijacija ukazuju na veliku individualnu varijabilnost u postignutom broju koraka i kod učenica i kod učenika oba razreda. Također, prosječne vrijednosti kod oba spola i kod oba razreda niže su od preporučenih dnevnih vrijednosti.
Zaključak
Nastava na daljinu nije ostavila negativne posljedice na učenike i učenice koji su bili u samoizolaciji, budući da su rezultati pokazali sličnosti u broju koraka. Međutim, navedeni zaključak samo je djelomično točan kada uzmemo u obzir kako je samo dio učenika u potpunosti proveo programirane tjelovježbene zadatke te kako su prosječne vrijednosti broja koraka bile ispod preporučenih. Rezultati i iskustvo ostvareno ovim istraživanjem doprinos je mogućnostima korištenja informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija u nastavi Tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture.Introduction and objective
At the beginning of 2020, the entire world was affected by the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus. The virus infected an extremely large number of people in a short time and affected the work of all public activities, including the education system. Due to the increasing number of infected students, a measure of self-isolation was introduced for the entire classroom in order to prevent the further spread of the virus. Teaching at a distance created many aggravating factors that limited the quality implementation of Physical and Health Education (PHE) classes. One of the ways to maintain the level of physical activity of students during distance learning was the implementation of programmed exercise tasks through distance learning platforms. TZK teachers planned the implementation of exercise tasks and monitored the students' physical activity using mobile apps for measuring steps. Therefore, the goal of this paper is to investigate the impact of programmed exercise tasks on the level of physical activity of students during self-isolation in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods
Students of the 6th and 8th grades of elementary school were divided into two groups. One group is made up of classes that were imposed a self-isolation measure for 10 days (23 students). The second group is made up of students who had standard lessons at school (19 students). Students in self-isolation were instructed to carry out programmed exercise activities. The students at the school conducted standard TZK classes. All students were instructed to monitor the number of steps for 5 days using mobile applications.
The results
The results indicate that there was no difference in the weekly number of steps of students who implemented programmed exercise content through distance learning from the weekly number of
steps of students who participated in regular contact classes of Physical and Health Culture. Students in self-isolation took an average of 32381±3913 steps per week, while students who were not in self-isolation took 31081±4317 steps per week. The values of the standard deviations indicate a large individual variability in the number of steps achieved by both male and female students of both classes. Also, the average values in both sexes and in both classes are lower than the recommended daily values
Conclusion
Distance learning did not leave negative consequences for students and students who were in self-isolation, because the results showed similarities in the number of steps. However, the stated conclusion is only partially correct when it is taken into account that only a part of the students solved the programmed physical tasks and that the average values of the number of steps were below the recommended ones. The results and experience gained from this research are a contribution to the possibilities of using information and communication technologies in the teaching of Physical and Health Education
COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF SALESIAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND LOTRŠČAK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN ZAGREB
Svaka škola u Republici Hrvatskoj svoj kurikulum bazira na Nacionalnom kurikulumu koji je okvir za samostalno kreiranje školskog kurikuluma. Samim time svaka škola je posebna i specifična. Jedna temeljna i bitna poveznica koja je zajednička Salezijanskoj osnovnoj školi i Osnovnoj školi Lotrščak je ta da su one katoličke. Što znači da je kršćanski odgoj izvor i temelj iz kojeg proizlazi njihovo odgojno-obrazovno djelovanje. U ovome radu analizirati ćemo i usporediti ove dvije škole koje imaju iste korijene i zajedničko poslanje. Također, odgovoriti ćemo na pitanje: “koje su to sličnosti i razlike između dviju osnovnih škola koje promiču vrijednosti temeljene na razvoju kritičkog mišljenja i životnih vještina?”Each school in the Republic of Croatia bases its curriculum on National curriculum, which is a framework for the independent creation of a school curriculum. Therefore, each school is special and specific. One fundamental and important link that is common to the Salesian Primary School and the Lotrščak Primary School is that they are Catholic. Which means that Christian education is the source and foundation from which their educational activities arise. In this paper, we will analyze and compare these two schools that have the same roots and common mission. We will also answer the question: "What are the similarities and differences between the two primary schools that promote values based on the development of critical thinking and life skills?
TRANSFORMATION EFFECTS OF AN EIGHT-WEEK TRAINING PROGRAM ON MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND SOME MOTOR ABILITIES
U periodu od 8 tjedana provedeno je ukupno 24 treninga. Treninzi su se održavali tri puta tjedno u trajanju od 60 minuta. Provodile su se vježbe jakosti za mišiće cijelog tijela u kombinaciji s visoko intenzivnim intervalnim aktivnostima u organizacijskoj formi kružnog treninga ili putem bicikl ergometra. Trening je bio strukturiran s ciljem postizanja tjelesne rekompozicije ispitanika, odnosno smanjenja potkožnog masnog tkiva uz istovremeno povećavanje mišićne mase. Cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi promjene koje su se dogodile u morfološkim karakteristikama te određenim motoričkim sposobnostima. Uzorak ispitanika sastojao se od 20 osoba u dobi 28,9 ± 8,36 godina, tjelesne visine 175,35 ± 8,63 cm te tjelesne mase 77,12 ± 14,32 kg. Nad svim ispitanicima provedeno je inicijalno i finalno mjerenje u ukupno 14 varijabli morfoloških karakteristika te je provedeno ukupno 7 testova za procjenu stanja motoričkih sposobnosti. Analizom prikupljenih rezultata, zaključeno je da trenažni program može djelomično utjecati na promjene u morfološkim karakteristikama. Šest mjera kožnih nabora zabilježilo je statistički značajnu promjenu (p=0,00) kao i kožni nabor potkoljenice (p=0,04) te opseg trbuha koji se u navedenom periodu reducirao za 3,03 cm (p=0,01). Ostale mjere morfoloških karakteristika nisu postigle statistički značajnu promjenu što je objašnjeno u daljnjem tekstu. Potvrđene su statistički značajne promjene u svih osam mjerenih dimenzija motoričkih sposobnosti (p=0,00). Preporuča se provesti još istraživanja na ovu temu, ali s homogenijim uzorkom ispitanika kako bi se transformacijski efekti programa treninga mogli ispitati na precizno definiranu populaciju.A total of 24 training sessions were conducted in a period of 8 weeks. The trainings were held three times a week for a duration of 60 minutes. Strenght training for the muscles of the whole body were carried out in combination with high-intensity interval activities in the organizational form of circuit training or by bicycle ergometer. The training was structured with the aim of achieving body recomposition, i.e. reducing the subcutaneous fat tissue in the subjects with a simultaneous increase in muscle mass. The aim of this work was to determine the changes that occurred in morphological characteristics and certain motor abilities. The sample of respondents consisted of 20 people aged 28.9 ± 8.36 years, body height 175.35 ± 8.63 cm and body weight 77.12 ± 14.32 kg. Initial and final measurements were performed on all subjects in a total of 14 variables of morphological characteristics, and a total of 7 tests were performed to assess the state of motor abilities. The analysis of the collected results concluded that the training program can partially influence changes in morphological characteristics. Six measures of the skin fold recorded a statistically significant change (p=0.00), as well as the skin fold of the lower leg (p=0.04) and the circumference of the abdomen, which in the mentioned period was reduced by 3.03 cm (p=0.01). Other measures of morphological characteristics didn't achieve a statistically significant change, which is explained further in this paper. Statistically significant changes were confirmed in all eight measured dimensions of motor skills (p=0.00). It is recommended to carry out more research on this topic, but with a homogeneous sample of respondents so that the transformational effects of the training program can be tested on a precisely defined population
