No full textCentar Splita gubi bitku s nekontroliranim turizmom fokusiranim na osobnu dobit, što vraća stanovnicima grada centar. Bastionski sistem utvrđivanja ponovno se koristi interpoliranjem Umjetničke akademije (UMAS). UMAS danas ima problem dezintegracije po cijelom gradu, što otežava rad studentima. Ovdje se ta dezintegriranost transformira u nešto pozitivno, postavljajući UMAS na tri lokacije: bastioni Cornaro, Contarini i Priuli. Cornaro je očuvan i valoriziran novom formom. Contarini, djelomično srušen izgradnjom željeznice, otvara put gimnazije i naglašava otvorenost. Priuli je prerezan probijanjem Marmontove ulice, ali se prati povijesne ideje trijemova u novoj formi.The center of Split is losing the battle with uncontrolled tourism focused solely on personal gain, which returns the city center to its residents. The bastion fortification system is being reused by integrating the Academy of Arts (UMAS). Today, UMAS faces the problem of being scattered throughout the city, making it difficult for students to work. This idea of disintegration is transformed into something positive by positioning UMAS in three locations: Cornaro, Contarini, and Priuli bastions. Cornaro is preserved and valued in a new form. Contarini, partially demolished by railway construction, opens a path for the high school and emphasizes openness. Priuli, bisected by Marmontova Street, follows historical ideas of colonnades in a new form

No full textDom za starije i nemoćne smješten je u centru Gornje Podstrane, s dodatnim satelitskim jedinicama u obnovljenim tradicijskim kućama za pokretnije korisnike. Centralni dio doma sadrži sve potrebne sadržaje, uključujući dodatne javne prostore koji su dostupni i lokalnom stanovništvu. Ova ustanova osim što se nalazi u središtu naselja, značajno doprinosi njegovoj revitalizaciji. Starije osobe se smještaju u središte aktivnosti kako bi se potaknula njihova uključenost i uljepšala starost.The home for the elderly and infirm is located in the center of Gornja Podstrana, with additional satellite units in renovated traditional houses for more mobile users. The central part of the home contains all the necessary facilities, including additional public spaces that are also available to the local population. Besides being located in the center of the settlement, this institution contributes significantly to its revitalization. Elderly people are placed in the center of activities to encourage their involvement and make old age more beautiful
