    The Application of the Combined Finite-Discrete Element Method at Seismic Analysis of the Bell Tower of the Cathedral of St. Domnius in Split : Master's Thesis

    U ovom radu provedena je analiza potresnog djelovanja istočnog pročelja zvonika Katedrale Sv. Duje u Splitu. Korištena je kombinirana metoda konačno-diskretnih elemenata putem seizmičke 2D analize istočnog pročelja zvonika. Za analizu su odabrana tri realna potresa: potres u Petrovcu 1979., Campano Lucanu 1980., te South Icelandu 2000. Podaci o horizontalnim i vertikalnim ubrzanjima ovih potresa korišteni su kao ulazni parametri za opterećenje konstrukcije. Rezultat rada je opis ponašanja konstrukcije tijekom potresnog djelovanja putem grafičkih prikaza na kojima su prikazani pomaci vrha konstrukcije.In this study, an analysis of the seismic effects on the eastern facade of the bell tower of the Cathedral of St. Domnius in Split was conducted. A combined finite-discrete element method was used through a seismic 2D analysis on the eastern facade of the bell tower. Three real earthquakes were selected for the analysis: the earthquake in Petrovac in 1979., Campano Lucano in 1980. and South Iceland in 2000. Data on the horizontal and vertical accelerations of these earthquakes were used as input parameters for the structural loading. The result of the study is a description of the structural behavior during seismic activity, illustrated through graphic displays showing the displacements of the top of the structure

    U dokumentaciji je prikazan glavni projekt nadvožnjaka preko autoceste. Sami nadvožnjak se sastoji od dva jednaka raspona, 18 metara te je polumontažne je izvedbe. Stup između dva polja projektiran je kao „V“ stup. Niveleta nadvožnjaka je oko 8 metara iznad nivelete autoceste tako da ima dosta prostora za slobodan profil ispod nadvožnjaka. Projekt sadrži proračun uzdužno, poprečnog nosača i stupa, te karakteristične građevinske nacrte i tehnički opis.This paper presents the main design of the overpass above the highway. The structure is semi prefabricated and it consists of two equal spans of 18 meters. The middle pier is V-shaped. The elevation of the overpass is cca. 8 meters above highway elevation and therefore leaves enough space for traffic beneath the overpass. The work includes the calculation of the longitudinal, and transversely span girders and columns, characteristic construction plans as well technical description of the construction

Izvedba građevine je zidana sa armirano betonskom međukatnom monolitnom pločom i fert gredicama kao konstrukcija krova. Projekt sadrži: tehnički opis konstrukcije, opće i posebne tehničke uvjete, plan kontrole i osiguranja kvalitete, proračun nosivih konstrukcijskih elemenata i karakteristične građevinske nacrte i armaturne planove.The work presents the main project of a small family house, which consists of a ground floor and an attic, above which a pitched roof is formed. The building is built in a masonry version, the so-called confined masonry, with a monolithic rc slab above the ground floor, and the Fert structure as a roof structure. The work includes a technical description of the structure, general and particular conditions of civil engineering works, control plan, and quality assurance plan, calculation of the main structural elements as well as characteristic structural plans and reinforcement plans

Projektna dokumentacija sastoji se od tehničkog opisa, općih i posebnih tehničkih uvjeta, proračuna nosivih elemenata konstrukcije, armaturnih planova i građevinskih nacrta.In this final paper, the calculation of statics for a small family house is processed. The subject building has two floors: the ground floor and the first floor, and a pitched gable roof. The building is made of masonry, the slab between the floors is made of reinforced concrete, and the roof is covered with a fert beam system. The project documentation consists of a technical description, general and special technical conditions, calculation of load-bearing elements of the structure, reinforcement plans, and construction drawings

    U ovom radu analizirani su vitki elementi opterećeni u svojoj ravnini s obzirom na četiri različita načina učvršćenja. U prvom dijelu je detaljno je objašnjen analitički postupak izračunavanja kritične i dopuštene veličine sile te pripadajućih naprezanja. Također, analizirano je i izvijanje elementa u dva područja izvijanja tj. elastičnom i plastičnom području, nakon čega je detaljno objašnjeno i dimenzioniranje elemenata opterećenih na izvijanje. Osim analitičkim postupkom, svi primjeri su riješeni i programom SCIA Engineering, nakon čega su dobiveni rezultati analizirani i uspoređeni s prethodno dobivenim rezultatima u analitičkom postupku. Na samom kraju su navedeni pripadajući zaključci i sva korištena literatura.In this paper, slender elements loaded in their plane are analyzed with respect to four different fixation methods. The first part explains in detail the analytical procedure for calculating the critical and allowable force and the corresponding stresses. Additionally, the buckling of the element in two buckling regions, the elastic and plastic regions, is analyzed, followed by a detailed explanation of the dimensioning of elements subjected to buckling. Besides the analytical method, all examples are also solved using the SCIA Engineering software, and the obtained results are analyzed and compared with the previously derived results from the analytical procedure. Finally, the corresponding conclusions and all the references used are listed

    Sve većim brojem prometnih nesreća te razvojem nove tehnologije u svijetu se vrše različita istraživanja i analize u svrhu povećanja sigurnosti prometa na cestama. U ovom radu prikazani su dosadašnji modeli analize ubrzanja vozila na prijelazu iz horizontalne krivine na pravac, na temelju kojih je provedeno istraživanje prikazano u radu. Statističkom obradom kontinuirano snimljenih brzina reprezentativnog uzorka vozača, izrađeni su regresijski modeli ubrzanja vozila te su doneseni zaključci o utjecaju pojedinih geometrijskih karakteristika trase ceste na intenzitet ubrzanja vozila.With raising numbers of traffic accidents and with the development of new technologies in the world there have been a various research and analysis aiming to increase traffic safety. This paper presents models of vehicle acceleration analysis at the transition from horizontal curvature to tangent section used so far, which were the base of conducted research. By statistical processing of continuously recorded speeds of a representative sample of drivers, regression models of vehicle acceleration were made and conclusions were made on the influence of certain geometrical characteristics of the road route on the intensity of vehicle acceleration
