Projekt je izrađen u programu AutoCAD Civil 3D.Based on the task of template from the course ˝“Roads“, a conceptual design for a local road was created on a geodetic base at a scale of 1:1000. The conceptual design was made from point A to point B on hilly terrain. The solution was developed in accordance with the Regulations, and the road was designed for an Annual average daily traffic (AADT) of 950 vehicles/day, with a projected speed of 40 km/h. The design took into account the basic conditions for road design, incorporating elements that comply with current regulations, as well as safety and aesthetic criteria. The project was created using AutoCAD Civil 3D

Idejno rješenje je izrađeno prema „Pravilnik-u o osnovnim uvjetima kojima javne ceste izvan naselja i njihovi elementi moraju udovoljavati sa stajališta sigurnosti prometa“.The conceptual project of the local road was carried out on the given geodetic base between the given starting point (A) and the end point (B), according to the task assignment from the ˝Roads˝ course. The project was created in the “Civil 3D 2023” software, and further processing of the drawings was done in AutoCAD. The road's designed route is located on hilly terrain, and the design tasks set an annual average daily traffic (AADT) of 950 vehicles and a design speed of 40 km/h. The total length of the route is 377,44 meters, with a height difference of 14 meters between the initial and final stations. The conceptual solution was created according to the “Regulation on the basic conditions that public roads outside the settlement and their elements must comply from the point of view of traffic safety”

Comparison of Numerical and Physical Models of Wave Field Refraction and Shading : Undergraduate Thesis

    No full text
Zaključno, rad istražuje i ukazuje na prednosti i izazove oba pristupa u analizi ponašanja valnog polja uslijed procesa refrakcije i uplićavanja. This thesis investigates the phenomena of refraction and shoaling in wave fields through two approaches: a physical model and a numerical model programmed in MATLAB. The physical model utilizes a rectangular plastic box measuring 34 x 54 cm, LED lighting, a sponge to prevent wave reflection, mini coastal models filled with cement paste, an electric motor with a paddle for generating waves, and a digital water level meter. Experiments were conducted by placing various obstacles and coastal models to study the phenomena of refraction and shoaling, indirectly measuring wave heights. The numerical model for calculating refraction and shoaling was implemented in MATLAB, using spatial domain discretization with triangular finite elements. The aim of this paper is to compare the results obtained from physical experiments with those from numerical simulations and to analyze the accuracy and efficiency of both approaches. Our results showed a high level of correspondence between the physical and numerical models, taking into account possible deviations due to experimental limitations and numerical approximations. In conclusion, the paper explores and highlights the advantages and challenges of both approaches in analyzing wave field behavior due to the processes of refraction and shoaling

In this paper, a hydraulic calculation of pipe filling during free-surface flow was performed. The goal of the hydraulic calculation is to select the optimal pipe size for drainage to ensure efficient and reliable wastewater discharge. The hydraulic calculation for wastewater drainage was conducted using Manning's formula. Using other parameters in the subsequent calculation, the normal and critical depths, as well as the degree of pipe filling, were determined. After the analyses, the optimal pipe profile for the observed subsystem was selected
