Analysis of Energy Renovation of Buildings Classified as Protected Heritage Sites : Master's Thesis
U ovom diplomskom radu analizirana je energetska učinkovitost dva objekta muzej Mimara (Zbirka umjetnina Ante i Wiltrude Topić Mimara) i Maškovića Han (Han Jusufa Maškovića) kategorizirana kao zaštićeno kulturno dobro. Kod objekata koji su kulturne i povijesne važnosti, veliki izazov pri energetskoj obnovi predstavlja činjenica da je te objekte potrebno sanirati na način da se očuva njihova autentičnost i povijesna vrijednost. U ovom radu će se pokazati analiza sanacije dva objekta koji spadaju u skupinu zaštićenog kulturnog dobra. Odabrani objekti su iz dva različita perioda gradnje. Analizirana je energetska učinkovitost zatečenog stanja, predložen način energetske obnove, uvažavajući sve konzervatorske smjernice, potom proračun koji bi zadovoljio kriterije tzv. zgrade gotovo nulte energije nZEB. Primijenjen je algoritam za proračun potrebne energije za grijanje i hlađenje prostora zgrade prema HRN EN ISO 13790. Apostrofirani su faktori koji utječu na poboljšanje energetske učinkovitosti objekata te tako i na smanjenje ukupne potrošnje energije objekata. Na temelju provedenih analiza izvedeni su zaključci.In this thesis, the energy efficiency of two buildings categorized as protected cultural heritage sites the Mimara Museum (Collection of Art by Ante and Wiltrude Topić Mimara) and the Maškovića Han (Han Jusuf Mašković) is analyzed. The primary challenge in renovating such culturally and historically significant buildings lies in preserving their authenticity and historical value. This study presents an analysis of the renovation efforts for these two buildings, which are from distinct construction periods. The thesis begins by assessing the energy efficiency of the existing conditions of these structures. It then proposes a method for their energy renovation, strictly adhering to all conservation guidelines. Additionally, it provides calculations to meet the criteria of nearly zero-energy buildings (nZEB), following an algorithm based on HRN EN ISO 13790 to determine the necessary energy for heating and cooling of the buildings. The study highlights factors that influence the improvement of the building's energy efficiency and, consequently, the reduction of their overall energy consumption. The findings and analyses lead to a set of conclusions that offer insights into the balance between energy efficiency and preservation in heritage buildings
Static Calculation of Residential-Office Building Made of Masonry Walls : Master's Thesis
U radu je prikazana analiza opterećenja i statički proračun stambeno - poslovne zgrade. Svi proračuni su izvedeni sukladno Europskim normama (EN 1992, EN 1996, EN 1998) i Tehničkom propisu za zidane konstrukcije (HRN EN 1996-3). Napravljen je i nelinearni statički proračun u računalnom programu AmQuake pomoću metode naguravanja (Pushover-Analysis), a sve u skladu sa Europskim normama (EN 1998-1). Zgrada se sastoji od podzemne garaže, prizemlja sa poslovnim prostorima i 4 etaže stambene namjene i na vrhu se nalazi ravni krov. Podrum i prizemlje su izrađeni od armiranog betona, a ostale etaže su izrađene sa omeđenim ziđem, međukatne konstrukcije su izvedene od armiranog betona. Kvalitetu temeljnog tla smo iščitali iz geotehničkog elaborata.The master thesis presents load analysis and static calculation of mixed-purpose buildings made of confined masonry walls.
All calculations are carried out in accordance with European standards (EN 1992, EN 1996, EN 1998) and Technical regulations for masonry structures (HRN EN 1996-3). A nonlinear static calculation was also made in the AmQuake computer program using pushover analysis, all in accordance with European standards (EN 1998-1). The building consists of an underground garage, a ground floor with business premises, and 4 floors of residential use, and at the top, there is a flat roof. The basement and ground floor are made of reinforced concrete, and the other floors are made with bordered masonry. Ground quality is taken from geotechnical studies

Zadatak ovog diplomskog rada je bio izraditi projekt konstrukcije stambene zgrade. Nosivu konstrukciju čini sustav greda, zidova i ploča izvedenih monolitno od armiranog betona. Projekt sadrži tehnički opis konstrukcije, proračun nosivih konstrukcijskih elemenata i karakteristične građevinske nacrte i armaturne planove.The task of this thesis was to make the construction project of building. Supporting structure makes the system of beams, walls and slabs performed monolithic in reinforced concrete. Design of the Overpass above Highway : Undergraduate Thesis
U radu je prikazan glavni projekt nadvožnjaka preko autoceste. Nadvožnjak se sastoji od dva jednaka raspona (19 m) i polumontažne je izvedbe. Stup između dva polja projektiran je kao “V“ stup. Niveleta nadvožnjaka je oko 8.7 m iznad nivelete autoceste tako da ima dosta prostora za slobodan profil ispod nadvožnjaka. Projekt sadrži proračun uzdužnog, poprečnog nosača i stupa, te karakteristične građevinske nacrte i tehnički opis.This paper presents the main design of the overpass above the highway. The structure is semi prefabricated and it consists of two equal spans (19 m). The middle pier is V-shaped. Elevation of the overpass is cca 8.7 m above highway elevation and therefore leaves enough space for traffic beneath the overpass. The work includes the calculation of the longitudinal, and transversely span girders and column, and characteristic construction plans as well as a technical description of the construction
The Analysis of Salinity Distribution in Prokljan Lake : Master's Thesis
U ovom radu, proučavana je dinamika ekosustava Prokljanskog jezera u Hrvatskoj s posebnim naglaskom na utjecaj varijabilnosti protoka vode rijeke Krke na distribuciju slane vode. Provedena analiza obuhvaća prikupljanje i obradu podataka dobivenih mjerenjima s terenskih kampanja u 2022. i 2023. godini, gdje su prikupljeni podaci koji pokazuju izraženu vertikalnu stratifikaciju jezera Prokljan. Poseban fokus je na klinu soli te je utvrđena korelacija između klinova soli i protoka rijeke, pružajući dublje razumijevanje dinamike protoka i estuarijskog ponašanja. Analiza podataka, kako onih dobivenih mjerenjem in situ tako i onih dobivenih numeričkim modelom, daje važne informacije o obalnim i estuarijskim ekosustavima, te pruža smjernice za održive prakse upravljanja. U konačnici je napravljena kvalitativna usporedba rezultata modela s provedenim terenskim mjerenjima.In this paper, the dynamics of the ecosystem of Lake Prokljan in Croatia were studied, with special emphasis on the influence of River Krka’s flow variability on the distribution of salt water. The analysis carried out includes the collection and processing of data obtained from measurements from field campaigns in 2022. and 2023. year, where data were collected showing pronounced vertical stratification of Lake Prokljan. A special focus is on the salt wedge, and a correlation between the salt wedge and river flow is established, providing a deeper understanding of flow dynamics and estuarine behavior. Analysis of data, both from in situ measurements and from numerical models, provides important information about coastal and estuarine ecosystems and provides guidance for sustainable management practices. In the end, a qualitative comparison of the model results with field measurements
