    Interest and needs of residents of Zagreb county for education programs for adults in agriculture

    Tehnološki razvoj društva ukazuje potrebu prilagođavanja nastalim promjenama, a što je moguće ulaganjem u obrazovanje. Promjene na tržištu rada uzrokuju sve veću potrebu izrade programa obrazovanja za odrasle. Prema podacima, stručna osposobljavanja, prekvalifikacije i ostali oblici obrazovanja odraslih su nedovoljno zastupljeni. Cilj ovog rada je utvrditi iskustva i interese stanovnika Zagrebačke županije o dosadašnjem sudjelovanju u programima obrazovanja za odrasle. Metodom upitnika prikupljeni su interesi ispitanika o programima obrazovanja za odrasle iz područja poljoprivrede. Upitnik je ispunilo 268 osoba u dobi od 20 do 65 godina. Od programa cjeloživotnog obrazovanja Agronomskog fakulteta, najveći je interes za program Vinarstvo i vinogradarstvo 79 (45,1 %), Urbano biovrtlarstvo 57 (32,6 %), Suvremeno pčelarstvo s 39 (22,3 %), i za program Procjena šteta od divljači na poljoprivrednim kulturama 34 (19,4 %). Analiza odgovora ukazuje na potrebu izrade i promocije programa za obrazovanje odraslih koji će zadovoljiti specifične potrebe i interese stanovnika iz oblasti poljoprivrede u Zagrebačkoj županiji.The technological development of society indicates the need to adapt to the changes that have occurred, and this is possible by investing in education. Changes in the labor market cause an increasing need to develop education programs for adults. According to the data, vocational training, retraining and other forms of adult education are insufficiently represented. The aim of this work is to determine the experiences and interests of the inhabitants of Zagreb County regarding their participation in adult education programs so far. The questionnaire method was used to collect the experiences and interests of respondents about education programs for adults in the field of agriculture. The questionnaire was filled out by 268 people between the ages of 20 and 65. Of the lifelong education programs of the Faculty of Agriculture, the largest group of respondents were interested in the winemaking and viticulture program with 79 (45,1 %), urban organic gardening with 57 (32,6 %), modern beekeeping with 39 (22,3 %), and for the program assessment of damage made by wild life on agricultural crops with 34 (19,4 %). The analysis of the responses points to the need to develop and promote programs for adult education that will meet the specific needs and interests of residents in the field of agriculture in Zagreb County

    Status of heavy metals and potentially toxic elements in the French bean in the market of the city of Zagreb

    Grah mahunar (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) je jednogodišnja povrtna kultura. Biljke osim biogenih elemenata, mogu akumulirati teške metale i potencijalno onečišćujuće elemente, što može uzrokovati brojne negativne posljedice u biljnom organizmu, a konzumacija takvih biljaka može negativno utjecati na zdravlje ljudi. Cilj ovog rada je odrediti status teških metala i potencijalno onečišćujućih elemenata u plodu graha mahunara na tržištu grada Zagreba te usporediti dobivene rezultate s maksimalnom dopuštenom količinom teških metala i potencijalno onečišćujućih elemenata u povrću. Uzorci su prikupljeni 17.10.2022. u tri trgovačka lanca, tri trgovine ekološkim proizvodima te na tri tržnice u gradu Zagrebu. Nakon digestije koncentriranom HNO3 i HClO4 u mikrovalnoj peći, količina teških metala i potencijalno onečišćujućih elemenata (Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn, Mo, Co, Hg i As) u uzorcima utvrđena je na atomskom apsorpcijskom spektrometru. Suha tvar (ST) uzoraka ploda graha mahunara varirala je između 6,65 i 12,62%. Utvrđene prosječne količine teških metala i potencijalno onečišćujućih elemenata kretale su se u sljedećim rasponima: kadmij 0,019-0,025 mg Cd/kg ST i 0,0017 -0,0024mg Cd/kg svježe tvari, krom 0,02-0,25 mg Cr/kg ST i 0,001-0,025 mg Cr/kg svježe tvari, bakar 7,75-8,74 mg Cu/kg ST i 0,73-0,82 mg Cu/kg svježe tvari, nikal 2,48-4,87 mg Ni/kg ST i 0,24-0,36 mg Ni/kg svježe tvari, olovo 0,61-0,82 mg Pb/kg ST i 0,05- 0,09 mg Pb/kg svježe tvari, cink 27,30-41,02 mg Zn/kg ST i 2,53-3,80 mg Zn/kg svježe tvari, molibden 1,45-3,18 mg Mo/kg ST i 0,12-0,34 mg Mo/kg svježe tvari te kobalt 0,21-0,28 mg Co/kg ST i 0,020-0,024 mg Co/kg svježe tvari. Najveće količine bakra, nikla, kadmija i kobalta utvrđene su u uzorcima iz trgovačkih lanaca, cinka i kroma u uzorcima iz trgovina ekološkim proizvodima, a najveće količine olova i molibdena u uzorcima s tržnica i niti u jednom uzorku nisu prelazile najviše dopuštene količine.French bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) is an annual vegetable crop. Plants, in addition to biogenic elements, can accumulate heavy metals and potentially toxic elements, which can have numerous negative consequences for the plant organism, and consumption of such plants can negatively affect human health. The goal of this paper is to determine the status of heavy metals and potentially toxic elements (Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn, Mo, Co, Hg and As) in French bean in the markets of the city of Zagreb and compare obtained results with the maximum allowable concentration of heavy metals and potentially toxic elements in vegetables. Samples were collected on October 17, 2022, in three retail chains, three stores with organic products and three markets. After digestion with concentrated HNO3 and HClO4 in a microwave oven, the content of heavy metals and potentially toxic elements (Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn, Mo, Co, Hg and As) in the samples was determined by an atomic absorption spectrometer. The dry weight (DW) of the French bean varied from 6.65 to 12.62%. The determined average amounts of heavy metals and potentially toxic elements were in the following ranges: cadmium 0.019-0.25 mg Cd/kg DW and 0.0017-0,0024 mg Cd/kg fresh weight, chromium 0.02-0.25 mg Cr/kg DW and 0.001-0.025 mg Cr/kg fresh weight, copper 7.75-8.74 mg Cu/kg DW and 0.73-0.82 mg Cu/kg fresh weight , nickel 2.48-4.87 mg Ni/kg DW and 0.24-0.36 mg Ni/kg fresh weight, lead 0.61-0.82 mg Pb/kg DW and 0.05- 0.09 mg Pb/kg fresh weight, zinc 27.30-41.02 mg Zn/kg DW and 2.53-3.80 mg Zn/kg fresh weight , molybdenum 1.45-3.18 mg Mo/kg DW and 0.12-0.34 mg Mo/kg fresh weight, cobalt 0.21-0.28 mg Co/kg DW and 0,020-0.024 mg Co/kg fresh weight. The highest content of copper, nickel, cadmium and cobalt were determined in samples from retail chains, zinc and chromium in samples from organic product stores, and the highest amounts of lead and molybdenum were determined in samples from the market and did not exceed the maximum allowable concentration in any sample

    Principles of green infrastructure and natural-based solutions in urban landscape design

    Rad se bavi identifikacijom i sistematizacijom principa uređenja gradskih krajobraza baziranih na krajobraznom urbanizmu, zelenoj infrastrukturi i prirodno baziranim rješenjima („NBS“). Pregled i komparativna analiza literarnih izvora obuhvatila je teorijske modele i praktične primjene, pri čemu je fokus bio usmjeren na urbana područja i gradske krajobraze. Interpretacija i sinteza podataka rezultirala je identifikacijom temeljnih obilježja principa zelenih koncepata pri uređenju gradskih krajobraza koji mogu biti primjenjivi i u domaćoj praksi. Cilj ovog rada je doprinijeti razumijevanju ekoloških („zelenih“) principa planiranja i oblikovanja gradskih krajobraza, utemeljenih na konceptima krajobraznog urbanizma, zelene infrastrukture i prirodnih baziranih rješenja („NBS – natural based solutions“).This study focuses on the identification and systematization of principles governing the design of urban landscapes based on landscape urbanism, green infrastructure, and natural-based solutions (NBS). The review and comparative analysis of literature encompassed theoretical models and practical applications, with a specific focus on urban areas and cityscapes. The interpretation and synthesis of data have resulted in the identification of fundamental characteristics of principles related to green concepts in urban landscape design that can be applicable in local practice. The objective of this research is to contribute to the understanding of ecological ('green') principles for urban planning and the shaping of urban landscapes, grounded in the concepts of landscape urbanism, green infrastructure, and natural-based solutions (NBS)

    The influence of the relief on the selected chemical properties of the pseudogley under vineyard

    Ciljevi ovog istraživanja bili su odrediti odabrana kemijska svojstva rigolanog pseudoglejnog tla pod vinogradom na tri dijela padine i međusobno ih usporediti. Istraživanje je provedeno 2023. godine na pokušalištu „Jazbina“ Agronomskog fakulteta u Zagrebu. Ukupno je analizirano 15 uzoraka površinskog horizonta tla (0-30 cm), po 5 uzoraka sa vrha, sredine i dna padine. U uzorcima je određen pH, hidrolitski aciditet (y1), P2O5, K2O te ukupni bakar. Nagib terena uvjetovao je blagi porast vrijednosti pH od vrha prema dnu padine (pHKCl 4,6-4,8), te prateće smanjenje vrijednosti y1 (12,1-10,6 cmol/kg), iako razlike nisu bile statički opravdane. Na donjem dijelu padine utvrđene su signifikantno više koncentracije P2O5 u odnosu na gornji dio padine (10,4 i 3,4 mg/100 g tla). Koncentracija K2O na dnu padine (29,7 mg/100 g tla) bila je signifikantno viša u odnosu na sredinu padine (21,2 mg/100 g tla). Na sredini i dnu padine utvrđene su statistički značajno više koncentracije bakra (60,0 i 59,6 mg/kg) u odnosu na vrh padine (50,4 mg/kg). Relativno male razlike u istraživanim svojstvima između pojedinih dijelova padine mogu se pripisati kratkoj dužini i malom, te neujednačenom nagibu padine.The objectives of this research were to analyse the selected chemical properties of the pseudogley under vineyard on the three slope positions and to compare it. The study was conducted in 2023 at "Jazbina", experimental site of the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb. A total of 15 top-soil samples (0-30 cm) were analysed, five samples from each slope position (hilltop, backslope and footslope). Values of pH, hydrolytic acidity (y1), P2O5, K2O and total copper (Cu) were measured in all the samples. A slight increase of pH values from the hilltop to the footslope (pHKCl 4.6-4.8) and decrease of y1 values (12.1-10.6 cmol/kg) was caused by the slope of the terrain, although differences were not significant. Significantly higher concentrations of P2O5 at the footslope in comparison to the hilltop was observed (10.4 and 3.4 mg/100 g of soil, respectively). The K2O concentration at the footslope (29.7 mg/100 g of soil) was significantly higher compared to the backslope (21.2 mg/100 g of soil). Significantly higher Cu concentrations (60.0 and 59.6 mg/kg) were measured in the backslope and footslope samples in comparison to the hilltop (50.4 mg/kg). Relatively minor differences in studied soil properties between slope positions can be ascribed to a short length and low and uneven inclination of the slope

    Designing children's playgrounds defined by the experience of space from a child's perspective

    U današnjem društvu premalo se pažnje posvećuje planiranju vanjskih dječjih prostora, iako su ti prostori nužni za holistički razvoj djece. Nakon pregleda literature, provedeno je istraživanje metodom senzorne šetnje na uzorku od 10 djece u dobi od 6 do 11 godina. Senzorna šetnja omogućila je dublji uvid u dječju percepciju i odnos koji djeca imaju s vanjskim prostorima. Tijekom šetnje, posjećena su dječja igrališta koja su analizirana koristeći literaturu i informacije prikupljene od djece. Rezultati su pokazali da djeca imaju različite potrebe i preferencije koje često nisu zadovoljene planiranjem igrališta. Na temelju tih zaključaka, izrađene su tri konceptualne sheme igrališta koje se razlikuju ovisno o veličini i lokaciji, s ciljem da služe kao modeli za buduće projekte. Odnos između djece i vanjskih prostora treba kontinuirano i detaljno istraživati, kao i uključivati djecu u proces planiranja, kako bi planiranje dječjih igrališta zadovoljilo potrebe njihovih glavnih korisnika.In today’s society, too little attention is given to the planning of outdoor spaces for children, even though these areas are essential for the holistic development of children. After a literature review, a study was conducted using the method of Child-led walks on a sample of 10 children aged 6 - 11 years. Child-led walks provided deeper insight into children’s perceptions and their relationship with outdoor spaces. During the walk, children’s playgrounds were visited and analyzed using the literature and information gathered from the children. The results showed that children have different needs and preferences, which are often not met by playground planning. Based on these conclusions, three conceptual schemes of playgrounds were developed that differ depending on size and location, with the aim of serving as models for future projects. The relationship between children and outdoor spaces should be continuously and thoroughly researched, as well as involving children in the planning process, to ensure that playground planning meets the needs of their primary users

    Madagaskarski zimzelen je vrlo važna hortikulturna farmaceutska biljna vrsta poznata još iz davne povijest. Sadrži veliki broj alkaloida, a različiti se biljni dijelovi ove vrste koriste za liječenje širokog spektra bolesti diljem svijeta. Najbolje djelovanje pokazuju u liječenju dijabetesa, groznice, malarije, tumora i želučanih bolesti. U uzgoju madagaskarskog zimzelena pojavljuju se i brojni štetnici kao što su lisne i štitaste uši, štitasti moljci, grinje i pipe. Tijekom uzgoja madagaskarskog zimzelena osim navedenih štetnih vrsta, moguća je i pojava korisnih vrsta kao što su božje ovčice, pčele te osolike muhe. Prilikom provođenja istraživanja entomofauna je praćena vizualnim pregledom biljaka kao i postavljanjem i pregledavanjem plavih i žutih ljepljivih ploča. Najveći broj zabilježene štetne faune pripada redu Diptera, a najmanje redu Lepidoptera. Od korisne entomofaune najveći broj zabilježenih vrsta pripada porodici Syrphidae. Cilj rada je utvrditi korisnu i štetnu faunu člankonožaca u nasadu madagaskarskog zimzelena i visinu njihove populacije.Madagascar periwinkle is very important horticulture and pharmaceutical plant known from ancient history. It contains many alkaloids and different plant parts are used to treat a wide range of diseases around the world. They show the best effect for the treatment of diabetes, fever, malaria, tumours and stomach diseases. In the cultivation of madagascar periwinkle there can also be numerous pests such as aphids, scale insects, whiteflies, and mites. During the cultivation in addition to the listed harmful species, there are also beneficial species such as ladybugs, bees, and hoverflies. During the research, the population of arthropods was monitored by a visual inspection of the plants as well as by placing and inspecting the yellow and blue stickey traps. Out of the useful population, the largest number of recorded species belongs to the order Diptera, and the least to the order Lepidoptera. Of the useful population, the largest number recorded species belongs to the family Syrphidae. The aim of the work is to determine the beneficial and harmful population of arthropods in the cultivation of the Madagascar periwinkle and the height of their population

    Possibilities of using donkeys in agro-tourism

    Magarci su se tijekom godina uglavnom koristili kao radne životinje za prijevoz ljudi, robe i tereta. Danas je uzgoj magaraca važan čimbenik u razvoju agroturizma, a brojne mogućnosti korištenja magaraca u ruralnim krajevima kao turističke atrakcije dodatni su izvor prihoda za gospodarstva koja se bave poljoprivredom i turizmom. Neke od mogućnosti korištenja magaraca u agroturizmu su proizvodnja mlijeka i mesa, kozmetičkih proizvoda na bazi magarećeg mlijeka, programi onioterapije i slično. Turistička ponuda ruralnih krajeva obogaćena je i turističkim izletima kao npr. izletima u prirodu, pješačkim turama, rekreacijskim jahanjem i zapregama u kojima magarci aktivno sudjeluju. Brojne kulturne manifestacije, izložbe i smotre čine još jedan segment u kojem svoje mjesto mogu naći i magarci i dati značajan doprinos turističkoj industriji. Mnogo je načina na koji uzgoj magaraca može unaprijediti i povećati turističku ponudu što je zasigurno jedan od doprinosa ovakvog tipa uzgoja. Magarci u današnje vrijeme doprinose razvoju agroturizma povećavajući turističku ponudu, a time i potražnju za uslugama, proizvodima i aktivnostima posebice u ruralnim područjima.Over the years, donkeys were mainly used as working animals for the transport of people, goods and cargo. Today, donkey breeding is an important factor in the development of agritourism, and the numerous possibilities of using donkeys in rural areas as tourist attractions are an additional source of income for farms engaged in agriculture and tourism. Some of the possibilities of using donkeys in agritourism are the production of milk and meat, cosmetic products based on donkey milk, oniotherapy programs and similar. The tourist offer of rural areas is also enriched with tourist trips such as nature trips, walking tours, recreational horse riding and carriage ride in which donkeys actively participate. Numerous cultural manifestations, exhibitions and fairs form another segment in which donkeys can find their place and make a significant contribution to the tourism industry. There are many ways in which donkey breeding can improve and increase the tourist offer, which is certainly one of the contributions of this type of breeding. Nowadays donkeys contribute to the development of agritourism by increasing the tourist offer, and thus the demand for services, products and activities, especially in rural areas

    Vodotoci unutar urbanog tkiva imaju veliki potencijal i ulogu od egzistencijalnog značaja za održivi razvoj i budućnost suvremenog grada. Grad Rijeka je povijesno važan industrijski i trgovački centar koji se danas suočava s nizom razvojnih problema zbog čega je potrebno redefinirati njegov identitet, ponuditi smjer budućeg razvoja, a kao rješenje se nameće oslanjanje na resurse rijeke Rječine. Ovim radom predlaže se razvoj rijeke Rječine temeljen na njezinom identitetu za čije potrebe se pristupilo analizi stručne literature koja je poslužila kao temelj za formiranje kategorija analiza krajobraza i kriterija njegovog vrednovanja. Istraživanjem je zaključeno kako čitavi tok rijeke Rječine posjeduje odrednice koje definiraju identitet pri čemu se posebno ističe područje Industrijskog krajobraza kanjona rijeke Rječine. Utvrđeni razvojni potencijali i rješenja ustanovljenih problema prostora sintetizirani su u konceptualno rješenje toka te spomenutog industrijskog područja.Watercourses within urban areas have significant potential and play a crucial role in the sustainable development and future of a modern city. The city of Rijeka, historically important as an industrial and commercial center, currently faces a range of developmental challenges, necessitating the redefinition of its identity and a new direction for future development. As a solution, reliance on the resources of the Rječina River is suggested. This work proposes the development of the Rječina River based on its identity, for which an analysis of professional literature was undertaken, serving as the foundation for forming landscape analysis categories and criteria for its evaluation. The research concluded that the entire course of the Rječina River possesses elements that define its identity, with a particular emphasis on the Industrial Landscape of the Rječina River Canyon area. Identified developmental potentials and solutions to established spatial issues have been synthesized into a conceptual solution for the river's course and the mentioned industrial area

    Identification of aerobic mesophilic bacteria using the maldi-tof technique in milk from milk vending machine

    U mlijeku dobivenom higijenskom mužnjom zdravih krava dozvoljeno je prema Pravilniku o kakvoći svježeg sirovog mlijeka do 100 000 mikroorganizama/mL što predstavlja prirodnu mikrobiotu mlijeka i nema negativan utjecaj na ukupnu kvalitetu mlijeka. Međutim, nestručnim rukovanjem tijekom i nakon mužnje ono se lako kontaminira te postaje potencijalan medij za rast i razmnožavanje mikroorganizama od kojih mogu biti štetni po zdravlje ljudi. Budući je broj aerobno mezofilnih bakterija u mlijeku jedan od pokazatelja higijenske kvalitete mlijeka, njihova je brojnost i identifikacija temeljna u kontroli sirovog mlijeka iz mljekomata. Iz pet različitih mljekomata prikupljeno je 30 uzoraka kojima je određivan ukupni broj aerobno mezofilnih bakterija metodom protočne citometrije. Identifikacija se provodila usporedbom MALDI-TOF spektra masa s referentnim spektrima pohranjenim u biblioteci mikroorganizama i obradom pomoću MALDI Biotyper računalnog programa. Uspješno je identificirano 30 rodova i 51 bakterijska vrsta. Rodovi koji prevladavaju su Lactococcus lactis, Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Kluyveromyces lactis, Staphylococcus aureus.According to the Regulation on the Quality of Fresh Raw Milk, up to 100 000 microorganisms/mL are allowed in milk obtained by hygienic milking of healthy cows, which represents the natural microbiota of milk and has no negative impact on the overall quality of milk. However, with unprofessional handling during and after milking, it is easily contaminated and becomes a potential medium for the growth and reproduction of microorganisms, some of which can be harmful to human health. Since the number of aerobic mesophilic bacteria in milk is one of the indicators of the hygienic quality of milk, their number and identification are fundamental in the control of raw milk from milk vending machine. From five different milk vending machines, 30 samples were collected from which the total number of aerobic mesophilic bacteria was determined using the flow cytometry method and the classic method of counting colonies on a nutrient medium. Identification was performed by comparing MALDI-TOF mass spectra with reference spectra stored in the microorganism library and processing using the MALDI Biotyper computer program. 30 genus and 51 bacterial species were successfully identified. Genus that predominate are Lactococcus lactis, Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Kluyveromyces lactis, Staphylococcus aureus

    Mineral composition of potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.) on the market of the city of Zagreb

    Mineralni sastav krumpira uvelike ovisi o sorti, agroekološkim čimbenicima i sustavu proizvodnje. Cilj ovoga istraživanja bio je utvrditi mineralni sastav uzoraka krumpira te usporediti preporučene dnevne potrebe minerala za čovjeka. Prikupljanje prosječnih uzoraka krumpira provelo se u triplikatu u gradu Zagrebu u 3 trgovačka lanca, na 3 tržnice i u 3 trgovine ekološkim proizvodima. Nakon pripreme uzoraka u laboratoriju fosfor je određen spektrofotometrijski, kalij plamenfotometrijski, a kalcij, magnezij, željezo, cink, mangan i bakar atomskom apsorpcijskom spektrometrijom. Dušik je određen metodom po Kjeldahlu. Statistička analiza podataka napravljena je pomoću SAS programa prema modelu analize varijance. Suha tvar u krumpiru kretala se od 16,09 do 19,48 %. Utvrđene količine elemenata uzorcima krumpira u suhoj tvari iznosile su 1,50-2,04 % N, 0,27-0,30 % P, 0,73-2,20 % K, 0,02-0,03 % Ca, 0,05-0,10 % Mg, 48,10-67,23 mg Fe/kg, 1,00-15,33 mg Mn/kg, 14,13-17,10 mg Zn/kg i 6,93-10,37 mg Cu/kg. Utvrđene količine elemenata u svježoj tvari (mg/100 g svježe tvari) iznosile su 291,71-326,73 N, 44,13-56,70 P, 139,35-406,96 K, 3,17-4,01 Ca, 9,86-18,33 Mg, 0,183-1,051 Fe, 0,134-0,224 Mn, 0,258-0,291 Zn i 0,111-0,209 Cu. Uspoređujući preporučene dnevne unose i utvrđene vrijednosti minerala, krumpirom iz ovoga istraživanja moguće je zadovoljiti 6,28-8,10 % P, 6,96-20,47 % K, 0,46-0,55 % Ca, 2,54-4,94% Mg, 6,45-8,45 % Fe, 6,67-11,17 % Mn, 0,77-1,1 % Zn, 11-21 % Cu od dnevnih potreba.The mineral composition of potatoes largely depends on the variety, agroecological factors and production system. The aim of this research was to determine the mineral composition of potato samples and to compare the recommended daily intake of minerals for humans. The collection of average potato samples was carried out in triplicate in the city of Zagreb in 3 retail chains, 3 markets and 3 organic products stores. After preparing the samples in the laboratory, phosphorus was determined by spectrophotometry, potassium by flame photometry, and calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, manganese and copper by atomic absorption. Nitrogen was determined using the Kjeldahl method. Statistical analysis of the data was done using the SAS program according to the variance analysis model. Dry matter in potatoes ranged from 16,09 to 19,48%. The determined contents of elements in the dry weight were 1,50-2.04 % N, 0.27-0.30 % P, 0.73-2.20 % K, 0.02-0.03 % Ca, 0.05-0.10 % Mg, 48.10-67.23 mg Fe/kg, 1.00-15.33 mg Mn/kg, 14.13-17.10 mg Zn/kg and 6.93-10.37 mg Cu/kg. The determined contents of elements in the fresh weight (mg/100 g FW) were 291.71-326.73 N, 44.13-56.70 P, 139.35-406.96 K, 3.17-4.01 Ca, 9.86-18.33 Mg, 0.183-1.051 Fe, 0.134-0.224 Mn, 0.258-0.291 Zn and 0.111-0.209 Cu. Comparing the recommended daily intakes and established values of minerals, it is possible to meet 6.28-8.10 % P, 6.96-20.47 % K, 0.46-0.55 % Ca, 2.54-4.94% Mg, 6.45-8.45 % Fe, 6.67-11.17 % Mn, 0.77-1.1 % Zn, 11-21 % Cu of the daily needs with the potatoes from this research
