    The inhibitory potential of reduced doses of herbicide and phenolic acids on the germination Ambrosia artemisiifolia

    Ambrosia artemisiifolia L. (ambrozija) invazivna je korovna vrsta koja izaziva štete u poljoprivredi i predstavlja javnozdravstveni problem. Zbog Europskog zelenog plana i razvoja rezistentnih populacija, potrebno je istražiti razvoj novih strategija za suzbijanje ambrozije. Potencijalno rješenje predstavljaju određene fenolne kiseline čiji je inhibitorni učinak prethodno utvrđen u in vitro istraživanjima. Cilj ovog in vitro istraživanja bio je utvrditi mogućnost primjene fenolnih kiselina u kombinaciji s reduciranim dozama herbicida izoksaflutola. U preliminarnom in vitro pokusu korištene su tri fenolne kiseline (pkumarinska, ferulinska i vanlinska) svaka u dozi od: 50, 100 i 200 x 10-7 mol s 0.05 l ha-1 herbicida izoksaflutol (1/8 doze od registrirane doze (x). Rezultatima ovog pokusa odabrana je p-kumarinska kiselina (200 x10-7 mol) koja je u dose-response pokusu dodavana reduciranim dozama izoksaflutola (x – 1/64 x). Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da dodatak pkumarinske kiseline značajno jače reducira duljinu radikule ambrozije u odnosu na iste doze čistog herbicida (bez p-kumarinske kiseline) pri dozama herbicida reduciranim za 8 do 64 puta. Rezultati istraživanja potvrđuju mogućnost primjene reduciranih doza herbicida u kombinaciji s p-kumarinskom kiselinom. Istraživanje bi trebalo nastaviti u in vivo uvjetima i testirati folijarnu primjenu ove kombinacije herbicida i p-kumarinske kiseline.Ambrosia artemisiifolia L. (ambrosia) is an invasive weed species that causes damage in agriculture and is a public health problem. Due to the European Green Plan and the development of resistant populations, it is necessary to investigate the development of new strategies for the suppression of ragweed. A potential solution is represented by certain phenolic acids whose inhibitory effect was previously determined in in vitro research. The aim of this in vitro research was to determine the possibility of using phenolic acids in combination with reduced doses of the herbicide isoxaflutole. In a preliminary in vitro experiment, three phenolic acids (p-coumaric, ferulic and vanlinic) were added at a dose of rescpetively: 50, 100 and 200 x10-7 mol 0.05 l ha-1 of the herbicide e (1/8 of the registered herbicide dose ( x) Based on the results of this experiment, p-coumaric acid (200 x10-7 mol) was selected to be was added in reduced doses of isoxaflutole (x – 1/64 x). The research results show that the addition of p-coumaric acid significantly reduces the length of ragweed radicles compared to the same doses of pure herbicide (without p-coumaric acid) at herbicide doses reduced by 8 to 64 times. The research results confirm the possibility of using reduced doses of herbicides in combination with p-coumaric acid. Research should be continued in vivo to test the foliar application of this combination of herbicide and pcoumaric acid

    Influence of seed priming on germination of parsnip (Pastinaca sativa L.) obtained from organic farming

    Pastrnjak je biljna vrsta iz porodice Apiaceae koja se koristi u prehrani i tradicionalnoj medicini zbog aktivnih spojeva koje imaju korisna farmakološka svojstva. Usprkos prehrambenoj važnosti, klijavost sjemena pastrnjaka je niska, što rezultira neujednačenim usjevima i otežava uzgoj, posebno u ekološkim uvjetima. S obzirom na spomenute izazove, cilj ovog istraživanja bio je utvrditi utjecaj predsjetvenih tretmana na klijavost i energiju klijanja sjemena pastrnjaka. Laboratorijskim pokusom istražen je utjecaj triju predsjetvenih tretmana (destilirana voda, biostimulator Eco Green i ekstrakt od biljnog otpada ) na klijavost sjemena pastrnjaka, uz dva načina sušenja sjemena: između ubrusa i 24 h na sobnoj temperaturi. Rezultati su pokazali da predsjetveni tretmani nisu značajno utjecali na klijavosti sjemena, ali su ubrzali i ujednačili klijanje. Sušenje sjemena smanjilo je nepredvidivost i omogućilo ravnomjernije i brže klijanje. Tretman T11 (ekstrakt od biljnog otpada 24h + sušenje između ubrusa) istaknuo se s najviše proklijalih sjemenki, najmanjim prosječnim vremenom klijanja i najvišim indeksom klijanja.The parsnip is a plant species from the Apiaceae family that is used in nutrition and traditional medicine because of its active components that have useful pharmacological properties. Despite its nutritional importance, the germination capacity of parsnip seeds is low, resulting in uneven crops and making cultivation difficult, especially under ecological conditions. Given these challenges, this research aimed to investigate the impact of seed priming on germination and germination energy of parsnip seeds. The effect of three seed priming treatments (distilled water, biostimulator Eco Green and extract from plant waste) on germination, with two methods of seed drying: between towels and 24 h at room temperature was studied under laboratory conditions. The results showed that seed priming did not significantly increase the percentage of germination, but accelerated and uniform germination. Drying the seeds reduced the unpredictability and allowed a more uniform and faster germination. Treatment T11 (extract from plant waste 24h) stood out with most germinated seeds, the lowest average germination time and the highest germination index

    Attitudes and opinions of farmers on climate change : risks, consequences, and adaptation in production

    Klimatske promjene predstavljaju jedan od najvećih izazova za poljoprivredu u 21. stoljeću. Njihove brojne posljedice značajno utječu na sposobnost poljoprivrednika da uspješno uzgajaju usjeve, uzgajaju stoku i održavaju plodnost tla. Ove promjene ne samo da prijete smanjenju prinosa već i povećanju cijena hrane, čime se dodatno pogoršava globalna nesigurnost hrane. Poljoprivrednici, kao glavni upravitelji zemljišta, suočeni su s potrebom za prilagodbom svojih metoda rada kako bi se nosili s novonastalim uvjetima. Upravo zato, cilj ovog rada jest ispitati stavove i mišljenja poljoprivrednika o rizicima, posljedicama i mogućnostima prilagodbe klimatskim promjenama u proizvodnji. Provedeno je empirijsko istraživanje kojim se nastoji proučiti percepcija klimatskih promjena iz perspektive poljoprivrednika. Korištene metode uključuju anketno istraživanje provedeno na prigodnom uzorku od 100 ispitanika, poljoprivrednika nositelja poljoprivrednih gospodarstava. Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju da su poljoprivrednici svjesni i upoznati s pojmom klimatskih promjena. te se redovito suočavaju s njihovim posljedicama, od čega u najvećoj mjeri s poremećajima na tržištu repromaterijala, učestalijom pojavom bolesti i štetočina, te smanjenim prinosima, a posljedično i prihodima od poljoprivredne proizvodnje. Kako bi ublažili negativne utjecaje, aktivno provode mjere prilagodbe, s naglaskom na uvođenje zelene gnojidbe, otpornijih kultura i pasmina te izgradnju sustava navodnjavanja. Obzirom da mjere prilagodbe često zahtijevaju značajna financijska ulaganja, ispitanici ističu da je nužno osigurati kontinuiranu edukaciju i financijsku pomoć poljoprivrednicima kako bi mogli uspješno implementirati potrebne prilagodbe i osigurati održivu poljoprivrednu proizvodnju. Osim toga, rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da poljoprivrednici zahtijevaju veći angažman Vlade, odnosno politika te kooperaciju institucionalne podrške po pitanju klimatskih promjena.Climate change represents one of the greatest challenges for agriculture in the 21st century. Its numerous consequences significantly affect farmers' ability to successfully grow crops, raise livestock and maintain soil fertility. These changes not only threaten to reduce yields but also increase food prices, exacerbating global food insecurity. As primary land managers, farmers face the need to adapt their methods to cope with the emerging conditions. Therefore, the aim of this study is to examine farmers' attitudes and opinions on the risks, consequences and adaptation possibilities related to climate change in production. An empirical study was conducted to explore the perception of climate change from the farmers' perspective. The methods used include a survey conducted on a convenient sample of 100 respondents, who are farmers managing agricultural holdings. The results indicate that farmers are aware of and familiar with the concept of climate change and regularly face its consequences, most notably market disruptions in agricultural inputs, increased occurrences of diseases and pests and reduced yields, which consequently affect their income from agricultural production. To mitigate the negative impacts, farmers actively implement adaptation measures, focusing on introducing green manures, more resilient crops and breeds and building irrigation systems. Given that adaptation measures often require significant financial investment, respondents emphasize the need for continuous education and financial assistance to help farmers successfully implement necessary adjustments and ensure sustainable agricultural production. Additionally, the research results show that farmers require greater engagement from the government and policy-makers, as well as cooperation from institutional support concerning climate change

    The influence of partial defoliation on the content of volatile and polyphenol compounds in 'Muscat Hamburg' grapes and wine

    Prinos i kvaliteta grožđa ovise o postizanju odgovarajuće ravnoteže između opterećenja trsa i izloženosti sunčevoj svjetlosti, što je bitan uvjet za dobivanje odgovarajućeg fenolnog i aromatskog profila grožđa i vina. Poboljšanjem mikroklimatskih uvjeta trsa i ravnotežom između omjera starijih, manje fotosintetski aktivnih listova prema mlađim, fotosintetski aktivnijim listovima ostvaruje se optimalna izloženost grozdova sunčevoj svjetlosti i količine prikupljenih asimilata. Provedena djelomična defolijacija nije utjecala na prinos i broj grozdova po trsu, ali je utjecala na smanjenje mase grozda i bobice te je poboljšala sastav grožđa i vina, povećanjem sadržaja polifenolnih i hlapljivih spojeva.The yield and quality of grapes depend on achieving an appropriate balance between vine load and exposure to sunlight, which is an essential condition for obtaining an appropriate phenolic and aromatic profile of grapes and wine. By improving the microclimatic conditions of the vines and by balancing the ratio of older, less photosynthetically active leaves to younger, more photosynthetically active leaves, optimal exposure of the bunches to sunlight and the amount of collected assimilates is achieved. The performed partial defoliation did not affect the yield and the number of bunches per vine, but it did affect the weight reduction of bunches and berries and improved the composition of grapes and wine, by increasing the content of polyphenolic and volatile compounds

    Production of nanocellulose from selected post-harvest residues

    Problemi poput onečišćenja i propadanja okoliša ugrožavaju budućnost ljudske vrste na planetu. Kako bi promijenili smjer u kojem čovječanstvo ide potrebno je uklopiti održivi razvoj u postojeći način života. Jedan od načina je korištenje ekološki prihvatljivih materijala koji pomažu u smanjenju negativnog utjecaja antropogenih aktivnosti na okoliš, poput biokompozitnih materijala. Nanoceluloza je prirodni polimer dobiven iz celuloze koji služi kao dodatak u biokompozitnim materijalima za poboljšanje svojstava. U ovom radu detaljno su opisani uvod u problem, energija iz biomase i poljoprivredna biomasa te nanoceluloza; struktura, proizvodnja i korist. Cilj ovog rada bio je analizirati svojstva posliježetvenih ostataka kukuruza (Zea mays), pšenice (Triticum aestivum L.) i ječma (Hordeum vulgare L.), proizvesti čestice nanokristalne celuloze procesom ekstrakcije te utvrditi njihova svojstva. U ovom istraživanju analizirana su svojstva posliježetvenih ostataka kukuruza, pšenice i ječma. Provedene su analize za sadržaja vode, pepela, koksa, fiksiranog ugljika i hlapivih tvari, CHNS analiza i ogrjevna vrijednost. Potom je proizvedena nanokristalna celuloza iz spomenutih kultura. Nanokristalna celuloza je zatim analizirana za sadržaj vode i suhe tvari i elektrolitičku provodljivost na različitim temperaturama uzoraka. Iz provedenog istraživanja može se zaključiti da su rezultati primarnih analiza usporedivi sa ostalim istraživanjima istih kultura. Pri kiselinskoj hidrolizi u svrhu izvlačenja nanokristalne celuloze potrebna je kontrola procesa i točna koncentracija kiseline. S obzirom na miješanje čestica nanokristalne i mikrokristalne celuloze tijekom sedimentacije potrebno je filtrirati mješavinu u svrhu odvajanja nanokristalne celuloze. Nakon membranske dijalize potrebno je homogenizirati dobivenu nanokristalnu celulozu kako bi se čestice uzoraka pravilno rasporedile. Iz provedenih analiza nanoceluloze može se zaključiti kako je postotak suhe tvari vrlo nizak (ispod 1 %), te kako je elektrolitička provodljivost nanoceluloze niska, ali se linearno povećava sa povisivanjem temperature uzoraka.Issues such as pollution and environmental degradation threaten the future of the human species on the planet. To change the current direction of humanity, it is necessary to integrate sustainable development into our existing way of life. One approach is the use of environmentally friendly materials that help reduce the negative impact of anthropogenic activities on the environment, such as biocomposite materials. Nanocellulose is a natural polymer derived from cellulose, which is used as an additive in biocomposite materials to enhance their properties. This paper provides a detailed introduction to the problem, energy from biomass, agricultural biomass, and nanocellulose—its structure, production, and applications. The goal of this study was to analyze the properties of post-harvest residues of corn (Zea mays), wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), and barley (Hordeum vulgare L.), to produce nanocrystalline cellulose particles through the extraction process, and to determine their properties. In this research, the properties of post-harvest residues of corn, wheat, and barley were analyzed. The analyses included moisture content, ash content, coke, fixed carbon, volatile matter, CHNS analysis, and calorific value. Nanocrystalline cellulose was then produced from these crops. The nanocrystalline cellulose was subsequently analyzed for moisture and dry matter content, as well as for electrolytic conductivity at different sample temperatures. The conducted research shows that the results of the primary analyses are comparable with other studies of the same crops. During acid hydrolysis to extract nanocrystalline cellulose, rigorous process control and precise acid concentration are required. Due to the mixing of nanocrystalline and microcrystalline cellulose particles during sedimentation, it is necessary to filter the mixture to separate the nanocrystalline cellulose. After membrane dialysis, the obtained nanocrystalline cellulose must be homogenized to ensure the uniform distribution of sample particles. The final analyses reveal that the percentage of dry matter is very low (below 1%) and that the electrolytic conductivity of nanocrystalline cellulose is low but increases linearly with rising sample temperatures

    The effect of heat treatment and homogenization of milk on the sensory properties of yogurt

    Poželjna senzorska svojstva fermentiranih mlijeka, a osobito čvrstih varijanti jogurta uvjetovana su temperaturno-vremenskim režimom toplinske obrade mlijeka pri čemu temperature sterilizacije uzrokuju slabiju viskoznost i čvrstoću gel strukture te smanjuju sinerezu. Povrh toga, senzorska se svojstva jogurta mijenjaju i ovisno o količini inokulirane kulture te temperaturi i trajanju inkubacije. S druge strane, značaj homogenizacije u proizvodnji tekućih varijanti jogurta ogleda se kroz intenzivno bijelu boju, bolju konzistenciju i stabilnost formirane gel-strukture, veću viskoznost te puniji okus proizvoda. Cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi učinak vrste toplinske obrade (pasterizacija i sterilizacija) te homogenizacije na senzorska svojstva čvrstog i tekućeg jogurta primjenom deskriptivne analize. U tu svrhu proizvedene su 4 šarže čvrstog jogurta od pasteriziranog i steriliziranog mlijeka uz dodatak 0,03% ili 0,04% jogurtne kulture te 2 šarže tekućeg jogurta od homogeniziranog i nehomogeniziranog mlijeka. Čvrsti jogurt proizveden od pasteriziranog mlijeka pokazao je bolje senzorske ocjene poput bolje stabilnosti arome, glatkije teksture, uravnoteženijeg okusa i veće privlačnosti proizvoda u usporedbi s jogurtom od steriliziranog mlijeka. Opažene razlike u svojstvima arome, okusa i teksture između uzoraka tekućih jogurta ukazuju na bolju percepciju i preferenciju uzoraka proizvedenih od homogeniziranog mlijeka u odnosu na jogurte od nehomogeniziranog mlijeka. Rezultati istraživanja potvrđuju da homogenizacija mlijeka značajno utječe na senzorska svojstva jogurta te pridonosi poboljšanju kvalitete i ukupnog iskustva konzumacije proizvoda.The desired sensory properties of fermented milk and especially of solid yoghurt varieties are determined by the temperature-time regime of the heat treatment of milk, whereby temperature sterilisation causes a lower viscosity and firmness of the gel structure and reduces syneresis. In addition, the sensory properties of yoghurt change depending on the amount of inoculated culture and the temperature and duration of incubation. On the other hand, the importance of homogenization in the production of liquid yoghurt varieties is reflected in the intense white colour, the better consistency and stability of the gel structure formed, the higher viscosity and the lower taste of the product. The aim of this work was to determine the effects of the type of heat treatment (pasteurisation and sterilisation) and homogenization on the sensory properties of solid and liquid yoghurt by means of a descriptive analysis. For this purpose, 4 batches of solid yoghurt were produced from pasteurised and sterilised milk with the addition of 0.03% or 0.04% yoghurt culture and 2 batches of liquid yoghurt from homogenized and non-homogenized milk. Compared to yoghurt made from sterilised milk, solid yoghurt made from pasteurised milk showed better sensory evaluations, such as better flavour stability, a smoother texture, more balanced taste and higher product attractiveness. The observed differences in odour, taste and texture between the liquid yoghurt samples indicate that the samples made from homogenized milk are better perceived and preferred than the yoghurts made from non-homogenized milk. These results ensure that the homogenization of milk can significantly influence the sensory characteristics of yoghurt and contribute to improving the quality and overall experience of consuming the product

    Carbon balance in the plant, plant-soil, plant-soil-atmosphere system of different maize hybrids

    Ovim je istraživanjem određena masa ugljika u biljnom materijalu i tlu, disanje tla i agroekološki čimbenici za hibride kukuruza Rudolfov 60, Kulak, OSSK 596 i OSSK 515 te je određena bilanca ugljika u sustavu biljka, biljka-tlo, biljka-tlo-atmosfera. Istraživanjem je utvrđeno da nema značajne razlike među hibridima u sadržaju ugljika u tlu, oklasku, zrnu, vlazi u tlu, temperaturi te bilanci ugljika. Utvrđena je značajna razlika u sadržaju ugljika u korijenu, strništu, stabljici i komušini među hibridima te u disanju tla između kontrole i hibrida. Bilanca ugljika u sustavu biljka kretala se od -10,97 do -8,46 t ha-1. Bilanca u sustavu biljka-tlo kretala se od 37,02 do 43,93 t ha-1, a bilanca sustava biljka-tlo-atmosfera od 36,89 do 43,81 t ha-1. Kako bi se nadomjestio ugljik iznesen iz sustava biljka, u agroekosustav je potrebno povratiti 28,5 t ha-1 suhe tvar za Rudolfov, za Kulak 23,0 t ha-1, za OS 596 25,4 t ha-1 i za OS 515 23,0 t ha-1 suhe tvari biljnog materijala.This research determined the mass of carbon in plant material and soil, soil respiration, agroecological factors and the carbon balance in the plant, plant-soil, plant-soil-atmosphere system for the maize hybrids Rudolfov 60, Kulak, OSSK 596 and OSSK 515. The research found that there is no significant difference between the hybrids in the carbon content of the soil, the kernel, the grain, the moisture in the soil, the temperature and the carbon balance. A significant difference was found in the carbon content in the roots, stubble, stem, and shoot among the hybrids, and in soil respiration between the control and hybrids. The carbon balance in the plant system ranged from -10.97 to -8.46 t ha-1. The balance in the plant-soil system ranged from 37.02 to 43.93 t ha-1, and the balance of the plant-soil-atmosphere system from 36.89 to 43.81 t ha-1. In order to replace the carbon removed from the plant system, 28.5 t ha-1 of dry matter must be added to the agroecosystem for Rudolfov, 23.0 t ha-1 for Kulak, 25.4 t ha-1 for OS 596 and 25.4 t ha-1 for OS 515 23.0 t ha-1 dry matter of plant material

    Calculation of the irrigation needs of the Vrbnik field with regard to the IPCC climate scenarios

    U završnom radu analizirana je potreba za navodnjavanjem vinove loze za prosječne klimatske i pedološke uvjete Vrbničkog polja (otok Krk) koristeći program CROPWAT. Osim potrebe za navodnjavanjem s obzirom na prosječne klimatske pokazatelje, u radu su analizirani i budući scenariji klimatskih promjena (SSP2 4.5 i SSP5 8.5 scenariji). SSP2 4.5 scenarij predviđa porast temperature za 1.6°C. Scenarij SSP5 8.5 s druge strane predviđa porast temperature za 2,5°C . Uz smanjenje temperature izračun potreba za navodnjavanjem temeljio se i na smanjenju oborina za 15 odnosno 20 % u odnosu na višegodišnji prosjek za najbližu meteorološku postaju. Rezultati rada pokazali su da u prosječnoj klimatskoj godini, kao i u scenarijima SSP2 4.5 i SSP5 8.5, najveći deficit vode javlja se u mjesecu srpnju te je u tom mjesecu najveća potreba za navodnjavanjem. Konkretno, u prosječnoj klimatskoj godini potrebno je dodati 112 mm vode, u scenariju SSP2 4.5 potrebno je dodati 115,3 mm, dok je u scenariju SSP5 8,5 potrebno dodati 121,6 mm.In this undergraduate thesis project the need for irrigation of grapevines under the average climatic and soil conditions of the Vrbničko polje (island of Krk) was analyzed using the CROPWAT program. In addition to the need for irrigation regarding average climate indicators, the paper also analyzed future climate change scenarios (SSP2 4.5 and SSP5 8.5 scenarios). The SSP2 4.5 scenario predicts a temperature rise of 1.6°C. The SSP5 8.5 scenario, on the other hand, predicts a temperature increase of 2.5°C. In addition to the decrease in temperature, the calculation of irrigation needs was also based on a decrease in precipitation by 15 or 20 % compared to the multi-year average for the nearest meteorological station. The results of the work showed that in an average climatic year, as well as in the SSP2 4.5 and SSP5 8.5 scenarios, the largest water deficit occurs in the month of July, and the greatest need for irrigation is in that month. Specifically, in an average climate year, 112 mm of water needs to be added, in the SSP2 4.5 scenario, 115.3 mm needs to be added, while in the SSP5 8.5 scenario, 121.6 mm needs to be added

    Red grapes and wine production in the Republic of Croatia in 2022

    Proizvodnja grožđa i vina je tradicionalna i značajna poljoprivredna djelatnost u Republici Hrvatskoj. Prema službenim podacima Agencije za plaćanja u poljoprivredi, ribarstvu i rurarlom razvoju proizvodnja grožđa i vina u 2022. evidentirana je na 16,407.83 ha. Pri tome je proizvedeno 85.760,29 tona grožđa i 560.789,04 hl vina. Proizvodnja crnog grožđa i vina zauzima manji udio u ukupnoj proizvodnji: 35% površina pod vinogradima, 25.65% proizvodnje grožđa i 24.68% vina od crnih vinskih sorti. Najveća proizvodnja crnog grožđa i vina registrirana je na području Dubrovačko-neretvanske i Istarske županije (42,6 % površina, 50,6 posto proizvodnje crnog grožđa i 52,4% proizvodnje crnih vina). Najrasprostranjenija crna sorta je 'Plavac mali' koja je zastupljena sa 23,29% površina pod crnim sortama, 27% proizvodnje crnog grožđa i 27,6% proizvodnje crnog vina. Ostale najzastupljenije sorte su 'Merlot', 'Cabernet sauvignon', 'Frankovka' i 'Plavina crna'.Grape and wine production is a traditional and important agricultural activity in the Republic of Croatia. According to official data from the Agency for Payments in Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development, the production of grapes and wine in 2022 was recorded at 16,407.83 ha. At the same time, 85,760.29 tons of grapes and 560,789.04 hl of wine were produced. The production of red grapes and wine take a smaller share in the total production: 35% of the area under vineyards, 25.65% of grape production and 24.68% of wine from red wine varieties. The largest production of red grapes and wine is registered in the Dubrovačko-neretvanska county and Istarska county (42.6% of area, 50.6% of red grape production and 52.4% of red wine production). The most widespread black variety is 'Plavac mali', 23.29% of the area under black varieties, 27% of red grapes and 27.6% of red wine production. The other most common varieties are 'Merlot', 'Cabernet Sauvignon', 'Frankovka' and 'Plavina crna'

    Oprašivači su važan dio svakog ekosustava u kojem djeluju kroz brojne procese od kojih je najvažniji oprašivanje. Urbana staništa nude oprašivačima raznolike zelene površine koje se mogu adekvatno opremiti za njihov način života. Zelene površine siromašne cvjetnicama mogu se prilagoditi na različite načine kako bi se poboljšala kvaliteta života ne samo za oprašivače, već i za druge oblike života u gradu. Edukacijom o različitim vrstama oprašivača i biljnim vrstama koje ih privlače daje se osnovno znanje o tome kako ih sačuvati u urbanim sredinama. Stoga je iznimno važno govoriti o urbanizaciji i njezinom utjecaju na bioraznolikost niza različitih vrsta. Jedna važna skupina oprašivača su divlje pčele, za koje je sve teže pronaći mjesta za gniježđenje i ishranu u današnjim uvjetima koji se brzo mijenjaju i za koje je potrebno posaditi različite cvjetnice.Pollinators are an important part of any ecosystem in which they act through numerous processes, the most important of which is pollination. Urban habitats provide pollinators with a variety of green spaces that can be adequately equipped for their way of life. Green spaces that are poor in flowering plants can be adapted in many ways to improve the quality of life, not only for pollinators but also for other life forms in the city. Learning about different types of pollinators and the plant species they are attracted to provides fundamental knowledge on how to conserve them in urban environments. Therefore, it is extremely important to talk about urbanization and its impact on the biodiversity of a variety of different species. One important group of pollinators are wild bees, for which it is becoming increasingly difficult to find nesting and foraging sites in today´s rapidly changing conditions and for which it is necessary to introduce different flowering plants
