Analysis of Mobile Communication Network in Meterize-Šibenik Municipality
Svrha i cilj izrade diplomskog rada je provesti analizu mobilnih mreža (LTE/UMTS/GSM) na području suburbane četvrti Meterize u gradu Šibeniku koristeći programsku podršku WiMAP kako bi se utvrdila pokrivenost navedenog područja radio signalom. U istraživanju se simuliraju različiti scenariji organizacije mreže, pokrivenosti ćelija, lokacije baznih stanica,fiktivno proširivanje četvrti i dodavanja još jedne fiktivne bazne stanice.The purpose and goal of this paper is to conduct an analysis of mobile networks (LTE/UMTS/GSM) in the suburban district of Meterize in the city of Šibenik using WiMAP software to determine the coverage of this area by radio signal. The research will simulate different scenarios of network organization, cell coverage, base station locations, fictitious neighborhood expansion and the addition of another fictitious base station
Analysis, Modelling and Implementation of Information System Capable of Distinguishing User Roles
U radu se analiziraju glavni procesi i značajke web aplikacije koja raspoznaje dvije vrste korisnika, i ovisno o ulozi korisnika omogućava radnje unutar nje. Sustav je modeliran pomoću UML (Unified Modeling Language) modela, a temeljem tih modela izrađena je web aplikacija. Pri izradi aplikacije korišten je MVC (Model-View-Controller) obrazac razvoja web aplikacija, programskim jezicima C# i HTML (HyperText Markup Language). Sama aplikacija izrađena je u programskom alatu Microsoft Visual Studio 2019, za izradu baze podataka korišten Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2014. UML modeli su izrađeni u programskom alatu Microsoft Visio.The paper analyzes the main processes and features of a web application that recognizes two types of users and depending on the role of the user allows actions within the application. The system was modeled using UML (Unified Modeling Language) models, and a web application was created based on them. MVC (Model-View-Controller) form was used for the development of web application. Application was written in C# and HTML (HyperText Markup Language) programming languages. The application itself was created in the Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 software tool, while Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2014 was used to create the database. UML models were created in the Microsoft Visio software tool
Impact of Latency and Bandwidth Changes on User Experience for Cloud Gaming
Igranje u oblaku predstavlja način pružanja visoko kvalitetnih i zahtjevnih usluga klijentima koji ih sami inače ne bi mogli pokrenuti. Dok prednosti uključuju mogućnost strujanja visoko kvalitetnih grafičkih igara na praktički bilo koji uređaj krajnjeg korisnika, nedostaci uključuju visoke zahtjeve za propusnost i vrlo nisko kašnjenje. Zbog sve veće popularnosti igranja u oblaku, važno je razumjeti učinke različitih mrežnih uvjeta na korisnike. Ovaj rad opisuje dva istraživanja kako bi se utvrdili učinci kašnjenja na performanse igrača i iskustvenu kvalitetu usluge, kao i kako ograničavanje propusnosti utječe na usluge igranja u oblaku.Cloud gaming is way to deliver high-performance services to clients who would not usually be able to handle the services on their own. While benefits include the ability to stream high-quality graphics games to practically any end user device, drawbacks include high bandwidth requirements and very low latency. Due to the increasing popularity of cloud gaming, it is important to understand the effects of different network conditions on users. This paper describes two studies to determine the effects of latency on player performance and quality of experience, as well as how limiting bandwidth impacts cloud gaming services
Simulation Modeling in Inventory Planning
U ovom se radu polazi od simulacija i zaliha, dvije zasebne stručne i znanstvene cjeline. Pokazane su i objašnjene vrste simulacija i vrste simulacijskih modela, te su navedeni neki simulacijski alati. Simulacijsko modeliranje rješava probleme iz stvarnog svijeta brzo i učinkovito. Pruža važnu metodu analize koja se lako provjerava, prenosi i razumije. U svim industrijama i disciplinama simulacijsko modeliranje pruža vrijedna rješenja dajući jasan uvid u složene sustave. Zalihe su također opisane po svojim glavnim principima te je dat jasan uvid u načine upravljanja zalihama. Zalihe su dio opskrbnog lanca koji postaje sve bitniji za uspješno poslovanje ali i sve kompleksniji za upravljanje. Upravljanje zalihama uključuje koordinaciju kupnje, proizvodnje te distribucije kako bi se zadovoljile marketinške potrebe poduzeća. Na kraju rada dan je primjer upotrebe simulacijskog modela u planiranju zaliha.In this paper, firstly, simulations and inventory will be described, two separate professional and scientific units. The types of simulations and types of simulation models are shown and explained, and some simulation tools are listed. Simulation modeling solves real-world problems safely and efficiently. It provides an important method of analysis, which is easily verified, communicated and understood. Across industries and disciplines, simulation modeling provides valuable solutions by giving clear insights into complex systems. Inventory is also described according to its main principles and a clear insight into the ways of inventory management is given. Inventory is part of a supply chain that is not only becoming increasingly important for successful business, but also increasingly complex for management. Inventory management involves the coordination of purchasing, production and distribution to meet a company’s marketing needs. At the end of the paper, an example of the use of a simulation model in inventory planning is given
Cyber Security of Autonomous Vehicles
Ubrzanim razvojem tehnologije, te sve većom urbanizacijom, dolazi do razvoja prometnog sustava što dovodi do sve većih gužva na prometnicama, a samim time i smanjenja razine usluga koje promet pruža. Kako bi se smanjila zagušenja, zagađenja i ostali problemi u prometu, pribjegava se novim prometnim rješenjima, te dolazi do pojave “ITS- a”, odnosno inteligentnih prometnih sustava. Jedno od mnogih rješenja koje ITS nudi za rješavanje takvih prometnih problema su autonomna vozila. Autonomna vožnja dijeli se na pet razina koje ovise o tome koliko intervencije vozača zahtjeva vožnja. Smatra se da će korištenje autonomnih vozila doprinjeti smanjenju zagušenja, zagađenja, te povećati sigurnost i udobnost prilikom putovanja. Osim pozitivnih stvari koje nam autonomna vozila nose, postoji i određena zabrinutost u vezi računalne sigurnosti takvih vozila. U ovom radu opisani su elementi autonomnog vozila,te njihova potencijalna ranjivost, odnosno kako se one mogu iskoristiti.Accelerated development of technology, and increasing urbanization, leads to the development of the transport system, which leads to increasing congestion on the roads, and thus reduce the level of services provided by transport. In order to reduce congestion, pollution and other traffic problems, new traffic solutions are resorted to, and the emergence of "ITS", or intelligent transport systems. One of the many solutions that ITS offers to solve such traffic problems are autonomous vehicles. Autonomous driving is divided into five levels that depend on how much driver intervention the driving requires. It is believed that the use of autonomous vehicles will contribute to reducing congestion, pollution, and increase safety and comfort when traveling. In addition to the positive things that autonomous vehicles bring us, there are also some concerns about the cyber security of such vehicles. Analysis of Traffic Flows at Zagreb-Karlovac Motorway using Neural Networks
Sa sve većom prometnom potražnjom na autocestama, osnovni prometni pokazatelji razine uslužnosti kao što su: sigurnost, vrijeme putovanja i onečišćenje okoliša dolaze do sve većeg izražaja i u našoj zemlji. To je posljedica sve većeg obujma turista koji svoj godišnji odmor upravo provode na teritoriju Republike Hrvatske, ponajviše na obali Jadrana. To dovodi do potencijalne opasnosti na autocestama poput prometnih nezgoda i nesreća, nezadovoljstva korisnika dobivenom uslugom, itd. Republika Hrvatska ima jedne od najrazvijenijih autocesta u Europi pa i time prikuplja veliku količinu prometnih podataka. Ti prometni podatci osnova su za procjenu stanja prometnog sustava i prijedloga mogućih rješenja. Prometni podatci običnom čovjeku ne predstavljaju ništa dok se ne obrade i analiziraju. Za rješenje problema obrade velike količine prometnih podataka primijenjena je metoda K-srednjih vrijednosti (engl. K-means) koja određuje optimalni broj grupa koje sadrže dane u godini te je primijenjena samoorganizirajuća neuronska mreža koja analizom prikazuje potencijalne van-distribucijske raspodjele i grupe podataka. Također je analizirana i vizualizirana kategorizacija vozila, brzine i sezonalnost prometa.With increasing traffic on motorways, basic traffic level of service indicators, e.g.: safety, travel time and environmental pollution, are coming to the fore. This is a consequence of a growing number of tourists who spend their vacations in Croatia, mostly on the Adriatic coast. This again leads to potential risks on motorways, such as car accidents and collisions, customer dissatisfaction, etc. Republic of Croatia has one of the most developed motorway networks in Europe, and it collects a large quantity of data. These traffic data is basis for checking the conditions of the traffic system and proposing possible solutions. To an average person the traffic data does not mean anything, until it is processed and analyzed. To solve the issue of big traffic data processing, K-means clustering was applied as a method of processing traffic data. It determines an optimal number of clusters, that contain days of the year, then a self-organizing neural network is applied, which, through analysis, shows potential outlier allocations and clusters. On top of that, categories of vehicles, speed and seasonality of the traffic is analyzed and visualized
Comparative Analysis of Preventive Maintenance Software Tools for Information and Communication Systems
Ovaj završni rad opisuje i analizira programske alate za preventivno održavanje informacijsko-komunikacijskih sustava. Navedeni su načini i oblici održavanja informacijsko-komunikacijskog sustava. U radu se razmatraju korektivno, preventivno i e-održavanje te način na koji se održavanje provodi. Stalnim napretkom tehnologije preventivno održavanje postalo je sve više isplativo za sve proizvodne djelatnosti zbog toga što može predvidjeti i spriječiti kvar sustava. Budući da je preventivno održavanje sve više zastupljeno u poslovanju glavni dio završnog rada je usporedna analiza programskih alata za preventivno održavanje informacijsko-komunikacijskog sustava prema različitim kriterijima usporedbe. Cilj završnog rada je odrediti najbolji programski alat za preventivno održavanje od deset proizvoljno odabranih programskih alata.This bachelor’s thesis presents describes and analyzes Software tools for Preventive Maintenance of Information and Communication System. Organizing the transport of grain by railway
Željeznica predstavlja izrazito rasprostranjen način prijevoza ljudi i dobara. Samim time, željeznički promet predstavlja optimalan način prijevoza većih tereta raznih dobara. Republika Hrvatska je zemlja bogata žitaricama te je time posebno važno tu veliku količinu žitarica i prevesti; bilo da je riječ o hrvatskim rutama ili da se radi o inozemnim destinacijama. U Republici Hrvatskoj postoje brojni željeznički prijevoznici, no u ovom konkretnom slučaju, tvrtka Rail Cargo Carrier – Croatia d.o.o. prednjači u prijevozu žitarica. Željeznički prijevoz uvelike ovisi o infrastrukturi te o samoj organizaciji svih potrebitih procesa, ali je u obzir važno uzimati i sve navedene troškove; fiksne i varijabilne. Troškove je iznimno važno računati i voditi brigu o njima budući da mogu odrediti smjer poslovanja tvrtke, ali i odrediti konkurentnost na tržištu.Railways are an extremely widespread mean of transport of people and goods. Therefore, rail transport is the optimal way to transport larger amount of goods. Republic of Croatia is a country which has a large amount of grains so it is important to transport it; through domestic routes and international connections. There are numerous railway carriers in the Republic of Croatia, but in this particular case, the company Rail Cargo Carrier - Croatia d.o.o. leades in grain transportation. Rail transport depends on the infrastructure and on the organization of all necessary processes, but it is also important to consider all the costs; fixed and variable. Costs are extremely important to calculate and take care of them as they can determine the direction of the company's management, but also can determine competitiveness

Logistika je područje lanca opskrbe koja posjeduje najviše i najkompleksnije procese cijelog lanca, ali kao takva predstavlja najveći potencijal za daljnji razvoj. Cilj svakog logističkog sustava su što efikasniji procesi u skladištu i najisplativije iskorištenje kapacitivnih prostora, a kako bi sustavi odgovorili na sve kompetentnije trendove na tržištu, koriste se razne metode automatizacije. Razvojem globalnog tržišta, dovođenjem interneta koji je sa sobom povukao do tad ne viđen iskorak u komunikaciji unutar i izvan sustava, uz neprekidno povećanje svijesti i potrebe za što boljom logistikom, natjerale su tvrtke na implementaciju raznih mogućnosti koje su rezultat nove industrijske revolucije 4.0. Container Terminal Feature Analysis
U radu su opisani kontejner, kontejnerizacija, kontejnerski terminal i automatizacija kontejnerskog terminala. Zadatak rada je analizirati značajke samog kontejnerskog terminala. Operacije i rad s kontejnerima predstavljaju glavnu djelatnost kontejnerskog terminala, a sastoji se od manipuliranja kontejnerima pri utovaru, istovaru i pretovaru između raznih grana transporta. Iz tog razloga opisane su tehnologije prekrcaja kontejnera i prekrcajni uređaji. Također opisan je razvoj i značajke kontejnera i kontejnerizacije. Navedene su i prednosti i nedostaci kontejnerizacije. Opisani su razvoj i vrste terminala, te statički i dinamički elementi. Povećanjem broja kontejnera na kontejnerskom terminalu, stvara se potreba za automatizacijom terminala, te se u radu navode načini razvoja automatizacije terminala. Na kraju rada navesti će se i opisati značajke kontejnerskog terminala.The paper describes the container, containerization, container terminal and automation of the container terminal. The task of the paper is to analyze the features of the container terminal itself. Operations and work with containers are the main activity of the container terminal, and it consists of manipulating containers during loading, unloading and reloading between various branches of transport. For this reason, container transhipment technologies and transhipment devices are described. The development and features of containers and containerization are also described. The advantages and disadvantages of containerization are also listed. The development and types of terminals, as well as static and dynamic elements are described. By increasing the number of containers at the container terminal, the need for terminal automation is created, and the paper presents ways to develop terminal automation. At the end of the paper, the characteristics of the container terminal will be stated and described
