Analysis of Influencing Factors on the Duration and Results of Technical Inspection of Vehicles with improvement proposal
Uloga tehničkog pregleda motornih vozila u Republici Hrvatskoj predstavlja jedan od ključnih elemenata povećanja sigurnosti i smanjenja rizika u cestovnom prometu. Postoje razne vrste tehničkog pregleda, ali svi imaju jedan zajednički cilj, odnosno omogućiti svim sudionicima u prometu što veću sigurnost. Republika Hrvatska nije jedina država s takvim pristupom, već brojne zemlje imaju sličan pristup preventivne sigurnosti u cestovnom prometu. Također, neke države imaju potpuno različit pristup tehničkom pregledu vozila te usporedba različitosti može dati brojne korisne informacije koje u pravilu mogu doprinijeti pozitivne reakcije sudionika u prometu. Jedan od dijelova tehničkog pregleda koji utječu na sam ishod prolaska vozila na tehničkom pregledu je i vrijeme trajanja tehničkog pregleda. Prema provedenom istraživanju uviđa se da vrijeme tehničkog pregleda kao čimbenik koji utječe na rezultat uistinu ima ulogu. Naime kao rezultat istraživanja dokazuje se da što je veći vremenski interval to je i veća vjerojatnost od nezadovoljavajuće krajnje ocjene pregleda vozila.The role of technical inspection of motor vehicles in the Republic of Croatia is one of the key elements in increasing safety and reducing risks in road traffic. There are various types of technical inspections, but they all have one common goal, which is to provide all road users with as much safety as possible. The Republic of Croatia is not the only country with such an approach, but many countries have a similar approach to preventive road safety. Also, some countries have completely different approaches to vehicle technical inspection, and a comparison of differences can provide a number of useful information that can generally contribute to positive reactions from road users. One of the parts of the technical inspection that affect the outcome of the vehicle at the technical inspection is the duration of the technical inspection. According to the conducted research, it can be seen that the time of technical inspection as a factor that affects the result really play a role. As a result of the research, it is proven that the longer the time interval, the greater the probability od an unsatisfactory of an unsatisfactory final evaluation of the vehicle inspection
Optimizing Transport Services by Improving Transhipment Processes
Kako bi se prijevozna usluga optimirala potrebno je provesti niz aktivnosti koje utječu na njenu kvalitetu i konkurentnost. S obzirom na to da je prijevozna usluga direktno povezana s distribucijom roba i korištenjem logističko – distribucijskih centara, bitno je definirati i analizirati svaku njihovu aktivnost i odrediti ključne elemente koji konačno nude prijedlog rješenja za optimizaciju. Za potrebe diplomskog rada kreirana je aplikacija koja, temeljem ulaznih podataka, predlaže optimiranje prijevozne usluge, uz detaljno određivanje cijene prijevoza, odabira vozila za određeni prijevoz, odabir prijemnih i otpremnih rampi, te odabir načina skladištenja, odnosno odabir zona u kojem će se skladištiti preuzeta roba iz naloga. Ova aplikacija može se koristiti u većini logističkih tvrtki koje vrše disponentske poslove.In order to optimize the transport service, it is necessary to carry out a series of activities that affect its quality and concurrentness. Considering that the transport service is directly connected to the distribution of goods and the use of logistics – distribution centers, it is important to define and analyse each of their activities and determine the key elements that offer a proposal for optimization solutions. For the purposes of the thesis, an application was created that, based on the input data, suggests the optimization of the transport service, along with the detailed determination of the transport price, selection of a vehicles for a specific transport, selection of receiving and dispatch ramps, and selection of the storage method, i.e. selection of the zone in which the goods from the order will be stored. This application can be used in most logistics companies that carry out dispatch operations
Infrastructure Development Potential of the Osijek Airport
U diplomskom radu analizirano je postojeće stanje Zračne luke Osijek uz prijedloge daljnjeg razvoja i napretka iste s obzirom na okolinu u kojoj se nalazi. Današnje moderne zračne luke suočavaju se sa sve većim brojem operacija što zahtjeva osiguravanje infrastrukturnih i operativnih kapaciteta te postizanje adekvatne razine zadovoljstva korisnika zračne luke. Zračna strana osigurava prihvat i otpremu zrakoplova uz pripadajuću opremu i infrastrukturu. Osim zračne strane veliki izazov predstavlja zemaljska strana koja osigurava prihvat i otpremu putnika i prtljage te izmjenu modaliteta prijevoza uz sve potrebne infrastrukturne i operativne sadržaje. Zemaljska strana zajedno sa zračnom stranom mora zadovoljavati trenutnu prometnu potražnju i zadovoljiti zahtjeve za širenje u prostoru objekata i površina prema očekivanom prometu.This thesis will analyse the current state of Osijek Airport, as well as the possibilities of its further development and progress, considering the environment in which it is located. Today’s modern airports face an ever-increasing number of operations. That requires suitable infrastructure and operational capacities, as well as achieving appropriate level of satisfaction of the end users of the airport. Airside ensures aircraft handling together with the associated equipment and infrastructure. In addition to the airside, landside is a big challenge as well. Landside ensures passenger and baggage handling, as well as the change of transportation modality with all the necessary infrastructural and operational facilities. Landside, together with airside, must meet current traffic demand and meet the requirements for expansion in the area of facilities and areas according to the expected traffic
ANS Cost Efficiency and ATFM Delay Correlation Analysis
Diplomski rad se temelji na analizi utjecaja troškova usluga u upravljanju zračnim prometom. Pokazuje koliko je procjena kapaciteta zračnog prostora važna za upravljanje zračnim prometom zbog utjecaja na kašnjenje te nadalje na troškove usluga. U radu se istražuju ciljevi i rezultati inicijative „Jedinstveno europsko nebo” koja je pokrenuta radi unapređenja upravljanja zračnim prometom i usluga u zračnoj plovidbi, boljom integracijom europskog zračnog prostora, te optimalnim iskorištenjem kapaciteta kako bi se kašnjenja svela na najmanju moguću mjeru. Kroz stručnu literaturu se analizira je li povećanje kapaciteta ključna stavka u snižavanju pojedinih troškova, obzirom da ovaj faktor izravno utječe i na samo kašnjenje. Predviđanje kašnjenja u zračnom prometu također je tema istraživanja.Master thesis is based on the analysis of the impact of service costs in air traffic management. It shows how important airspace capacity assessment is for air traffic management due to the impact on delays and further on service costs. The paper examines the objectives and results of the Single European Sky initiative, which was launched to improve air traffic management and air navigation services, better integration of European airspace, and optimal capacity utilization to minimize delays. Through the professional literature, it is analyzed whether the increase in capacity is a key item in reducing individual costs, since this factor directly affects the delay itself. Predicting air traffic delays is also a research topic
Optimization of the Port Container Terminal Storage Area
Predmet ovog diplomskog rada je korištenje simulacijskih alata u optimizaciji kontejnerskih terminala. Kao studija slučaja korišten je kontejnerski terminal Adriatic Gate Container Terminal na Brajdici. Analizirani su podaci o lokaciji luke, statistički podaci o količini prometa na terminalu u zadnjih 11 godina te karakteristike operativne obale u radu i sva prateća oprema. Model plana terminala izrađen je pomoću simulacijske aplikacije CHESSCON. Nakon izrade plana, kojim je definirana lokacija prometne mreže i skladišnog prostora, određeni su ulazni podaci za simulaciju, broj simulacija i sati simulacije. Nakon što je simulacija završena, prikazani su ulazni podaci kako bi se pokazalo koje podatke planer prometa može koristiti pri analizi terminala pomoću ovog softvera. Ti se podaci zatim mogu koristiti za optimizaciju terminala.The subject of this diploma thesis is the use of simulation tools in the optimisation of container terminals. The Adriatic Gate Container Terminal in Brajdica was used as a case study. Data on the location of the port, statistical data on the traffic volume at the terminal over the last 11 years and the characteristics of the coastline in operation and all related equipment were analysed. A model of the terminal plan was created using the simulation application CHESSCON. After creating the plan, which defined the location of the traffic network and the storage area, the input data for the simulation, the number of simulations runs and the simulation hours were determined. Once the simulation was completed, the input data was presented to show what data the traffic planner can use when analysing the terminal with this software. This data can then be used to optimise the terminal

Impact of Autonomous Vehicles Using on Transport Logistics Activities
Razvitak umjetne inteligencije omogućio je razvitak autonomnih vozila. To su vozila koja koristeći kompleksne algoritme mogu obavljati prijevoz bez vozača. Autonomna vozila sve su bliže svakodnevnoj upotrebi u logističkoj industriji, čak se već negdje i koriste. Njihova šira upotreba unaprijedila bi prijevoznu logistiku i procese vezane uz nju. Ona predstavljaju jedan veliki napredak i promjenu u transportnoj industriji. Kamionski teret je najzastupljenija vrsta prijevoza tereta, ali sve više se naglašava problem nestašice vozača. Autonomna vozila su rješenje kojim bi se taj problem mogao u potpunosti eliminirati. Automatizacija željezničkog prometa donijela bi koristi ulagačima u željeznice, te bi isto tako učinilo željeznički promet još više ekološkim i učinkovitijim.The development of artificial intelligence has enabled the development of autonomous vehicles. These are vehicles that can perform driverless transport using complex algorithms. Autonomous vehicles are getting closer to everyday use in the logistics industry, they are even being used somewhere. Their wider use would improve transport logistics and related processes. They represent a major advancement and change in the transportation industry. Truck freight is the most common type of freight transport, but the problem of driver shortages is increasingly emphasized. Autonomous vehicles are a solution that could completely eliminate this problem. Railway automation would benefit railway investors, and would also make rail transport even more environmentally friendly and efficient
Intelligent Trransport Systems in the Function of Improving Transport Chains
Inteligentni transportni sustavi predstavljaju skup kibernetičkih rješenja koji omogućuju informacijsku transparentnost, upravljivost i razvoj transportnog i prometnog sustava. Karakteristika ovih sustava je sposobnost adaptivnog djelovanja u promjenjivim uvjetima i situacijama gdje je potrebno prikupiti i obraditi veliki broj podataka u stvarnom vremenu. Primjena ITS-a omogućila je suvremeni razvoj u procesima upravljanja transportnim lancima kroz korištenje informacija o stanju vozila i prometu u stvarnom vremenu, mogućnosti praćenja robe u transportu (inteligentni tereti), upravljanje voznim parkom korištenjem ITS usluga u domeni administracije komercijalnih vozila, izvještavanje o nepredviđenim situacijama na cesti i dr. što je rezultiralo unaprjeđenjem kvalitete usluge prema krajnjim korisnicima. Kroz projekte za unaprjeđenje prometnih i transportnih sustava korištenjem ITS tehnologije na nivou Europske unije dolazi do razvoja transportnih lanaca, podizanja razine poslovanja sudionika transportnih lanaca i prometa općenito.Intelligent transport systems are a set of cyber solutions that enable information transparency, management and development of transport and transport systems. The characteristic of these systems is the ability of adaptive actions in changig conditions and situations where it is necessary to collect and process a lot of data in real time. The implementation of its enabled modern development in transport chain management processes through the use of vehicle condition and real time traffic information, the possibility of monitoring goods in transport (intelligent cargo), fleet management using ITS services in the domain of commercil vehicle administration, reporting on unforeseen situations on the road, etc. which resulted in improved service quality towards end users. Projects aimed at improving transport and transport systems trought the use of ITS technology at the level of the European Union lead to development of transport chains, raising the level of business of transport chain participants and traffic in general
Comparative Analysis of Network Device Monitoring Software
Kroz prikaz načina rada, podjelu računalnih mreža i osnovnih mrežnih protokola prikazani su temelji mreže svih mreža, Interneta. Ipak, sve veći broj mrežnih uređaja unosi dodatnu nesigurnost kao i nestabilnost same mreže te ih je poželjno nadzirati kako bi se povećala dostupnost mreže, a i samih mrežnih uređaja. Nadzor mrežnih uređaja je moguće obavljati raznim standardiziranim protokolima za prikupljanje podataka mrežnih uređaja. Usporednom analizom programske podrške za nadzor mrežnih uređaja prikazan je detaljan proces instalacije i konfiguracije Nagios-a kao i Zabbix-a te koja razina „znanja“ je potrebna za korištenje i upravljanje programskom podrškom za nadzor, potrebne hardverske i softverske resurse kao i mogućnosti programske podrške za nadzor.Through the presentation of the mode of operation, the division of computer networks and basic network protocols, the foundations of the network of all networks, the Internet, are presented. However, an increasing number of network devices introduce additional uncertainty as well as instability of the network itself, and it is desirable to monitor them in order to increase the availability of the network and the network devices themselves. Monitoring of network devices can be performed by various standardized protocols for data collection of network devices. A comparative analysis of software tools for monitoring network devices shows the detailed process of installation and configuration of Nagios and Zabbix, and what level of "knowledge" is required to use and manage software monitoring tools, required hardware and software resources and software capabilities monitoring tools
Application of Modern Communication Technologies for the Purpose of Information System Design
U završnom radu navedeni su i opisani elementi informacijskog sustava te suvremena komunikacijska tehnologija u svrhu dizajniranja informacijskih sustava. Navedena je i opisana arhitektura informacijskog sustava ERP-a kao i pravila dizajniranja sustava. Nadalje, prikazana su aplikacijska rješenja mrežnog operatora te je izvršena analiza primjene suvremenih komunikacijskih tehnologija u svrhu dizajniranja informacijskih sustava i prikazano je korištenje inteligentnog virtualnog pomoćnika unutar telekomunikacijske organizacije.The final thesis lists and describes the information system elements and modern communication technology to design information systems. The architecture of the ERP information system and the rules of system design are stated and described. Furthermore, the application solutions for the network operator are presented together with the analysis of the application of modern communication technologies in the design of information systems that was performed. The use of intelligent virtual chatbot within a telecommunications organization was presented as well
