Traffic Signalization and Equipment Analysis on High-risk Sections of Roads for Motorcyclists
Dolaskom toplijeg vremena sve više ljudi u Republici Hrvatskoj koristi motocikle kako bi izbjegli gužve i lakše se kretali prometnicama. Većim brojem motociklista povećava se broj sudionika u prometu što predstavlja veći broj prometnih nesreća i ugrožava se sigurnost motociklista u prometu. Na sigurnost motociklista utječe više čimbenika kao što su ponašanje sudionika u prometu, stanje kolnika, karakteristike motocikla, oznake na kolniku, signalizacija, oprema na cesti i slično. Analizom prometnih nesreća, prometnog opterećenja i prometnom signalizacijom nastoji se ostvariti uvid u stvarno stanje infrastrukture i predložiti poboljšanja postojećeg stanja, kako bi se povećala sigurnost motociklista i skrenula pažnja ostalih sudionika u prometu na motocikliste.With the arrival of warmer weather, more people in Croatia decide to use motorcycles to avoid traffic jams and move through traffic quicker. The larger number of motocyclists increases the number of participants in traffic which leads to more traffic accidents than before and jeopardizes the safety of motocyclists in traffic. The safety of a motorcycle is impacted by many factors like the behaviour of other traffic participants, the state of the road, the characteristics of the motorcycle, the signs on the road, traffic signals and equipment and other things. It seeks to gain insight into the real situation by analyzing traffic accidents, traffic load and traffic signals, in an effort to increase the safety of motorcyclists and improve the attention of other road users to motorcyclists
Analysis of Road Traffic Safety in the City of Nova Gradiška
Glavna zadaća cestovnog prometnog sustava je osigurati najveću moguću razinu sigurnosti svih sudionika prometa pa je tako i osnovni cilj ovog diplomskog rada analizirati i obraditi podatke o prometnim nesrećama u svrhu prijedloga mjera za povećanje sigurnosti cestovnog prometa. U ovom diplomskog radu izvršena je analiza cestovnih prometnih nesreća koje su se dogodile na području grada Nove Gradiške u razdoblju od 2016. do 2020. godine. Na temelju dobivenih podataka od strane MUP-a izvršena je analiza prometnih nesreća pomoću programskog alata Microsoft Office Excela. Zatim su podaci obrađeni uz pomoć programskog alata QGIS gdje se za analizu koristilo trogodišnje razdoblje (2017.-2019.) te su identificirana opasna mjesta. U procesu identifikacije provedeno je ispitivanje odabranih raskrižja prema definiranim kriterijima. Nakon analize opasnih mjesta predložene su mjere rješenja koje bi smanjile broj prometnih nesreća i povećale sigurnost cestovnog prometa na promatranom području. Predložene mjere prikazane su i analizirane pomoću programskih alata AutoCad i PTV Vissim Student Version.The main task of the road transport system is to ensure the highest possible level of safety for all traffic participants, so the main goal of this thesis is to analyze and process data on traffic accidents for the purpose of proposing measures to increase road traffic safety. In this thesis, an analysis of road traffic accidents that occurred in the area of the city of Nova Gradiška in the period from 2016 to 2020 was performed. Based on the data obtained by the Ministry of Interior, an analysis of traffic accidents was performed using the Microsoft Office Excel program tool. Then the data was processed with the help of the QGIS software tool, where a three-year period (2017-2019) was used for analysis, and dangerous places were identified. In the identification process, an examination of selected intersections was carried out according to defined criteria. After the analysis of dangerous places, solution measures were proposed that would reduce the number of traffic accidents and increase the safety of road traffic in the observed area. The proposed measures are presented and analyzed using the software tools AutoCad and PTV Vissim Student Version
Comparative analysis of the organization of access to railway infrastructure
Cilj istraživanja u radu je objasniti pravni okvir izrade Izvješća o mreži i utvrditi univerzalni okvir sadržaja Izvješća o mreži. Upravitelj infrastrukture dužan je izdati dokument Izvješće o mreži koji predstavlja katalog usluga koje upravitelj infrastrukture pruža zainteresiranim prijevoznicima. U radu će se napraviti studija slučaja za upravitelja infrastrukture u Republici Hrvatskoj.Comparative analysis of the organization of access to railway infrastructure The aim of the research is to explain the legal framework for the preparation of the network Statement and to establish a universal framework for the content of the Network statement. The Infrastructure Manager is obliged to issue the Network Statement document, which is a catalog of services provided by the Infrastructure Manager to interested carriers. The paper will provide a case study for the infrastructure manager in the Republic of Croatia
Internet of Things in the Delivery Phase of Postal Items
U današnjem okruženju prisutni su sljedeći značajniji trendovi u poštanskoj djelatnosti: Internet stvari, tehnologija velikih podataka, umjetna inteligencija i virtualna stvarnost. U ovome radu predstavljen je koncept Interneta poštanskih stvari, njegove prednosti te ključna područja njegove primjene. Uz navedeno, u radu su analizirane prednosti za davatelje i korisnike poštanskih usluga te prikazani primjeri potencijalnih prednosti primjene koncepta Interneta poštanskih stvari u funkciji smanjenja broja neisporučenih pošiljaka.In today's environment, the following significant trends are present in the postal industry: Internet of Things, Big data technology, Artificial intelligence and Virtual reality. This paper presents the concept of the Internet of Postal Things, its advantages and key areas of its application. In addition to the above, the paper analysed the advantages for providers and users of postal services, and presented examples of potential advantages of applying the concept of the Internet of Postal Things in the function of reducing the number of undelivered items
Selection of Replacement Aircraft for Croatia Airlines Medium Range Fleet
Odabir flote zrakoplova diktira poziciju prijevoznika na dulji rok. Kvalitetna analiza čimbenika u skladu s planovima za budućnost je nužna kako bi odabrani zrakoplovi bili isplativi i optimalni. Čimbenici odabira flote su svrstani u nekoliko kategorija. Fokus ovog rada je na evaluaciji relevantnih zamjenskih zrakoplova za Croatiu Airlines koji bi zamijenili trenutne zrakoplove proizvođača Airbus. U radu su prvotno istaknute značajke i prometni pokazatelji trenutne flote koji uz činjenice o tržišnom statusu Croatie Airlines pružaju temelj za daljnju razradu tematike, odnosno parametara koji u konačnici dovode do zaključka o optimalnom odabiru. Novi zrakoplovi trebaju osigurati napredak poslovanja i konkuretnost prijevoznika. Relevantni zrakoplovi za evaluaciju su Airbus A319 neo, A320 neo, A220-100, A220-300, Boeing 737 MAX 7 i Embraer E-195 E2.Selection of aircraft fleet dictates the position of the carrier in the long term. Quality analysis of factors in relation to the plans for the future is necessary in order for the selected aircraft to be profitable and optimal. Fleet selection factors fall into several categories. The focus of this paper is on the evaluation of relevant replacement aircraft for Croatia Airlines that would replace the current Airbus aircraft. This graduation thesis initially highlights the features and traffic indicators of the current fleet, which together with the facts about the market status of Croatia Airlines provide the basis for further elaboration of the topic, regarding the parameters that ultimately lead to the conclusion about the optimal selection. The new aircraft should ensure the progress of the business and the competitiveness of the carrier. Relevant aircraft for evaluation are Airbus A319 neo, A320 neo, A220-100, A220-300, Boeing 737 MAX 7 and Embraer E-195 E2
Analysis of the Rolling Stock Reliability
Uz pretpostavku da se radi o poslovnom subjektu čija je glavna djelatnost prijevoz dobara, pouzdanost voznog parka je temelj stabilnosti poslovanja. Manjak pouzdanosti za sobom generira značajne gubitke i disbalans u poslovanju. U ovom radu objašnjen je pojam vozni park, opisane su značajke istog. Također objašnjen je pojam pouzdanosti i obrađeni su njegovi pokazatelji. U posljednjem poglavlju izvršena je studija slučaja na primjeru prijevozničke tvrtke s naglaskom na pouzdanost i raspoloživost vozila.Assuming that it is a business entity whose main activity is the trasnportations of goods, the realiability of the vehicle fleet is the basis of business stability. A lack of reliability generates significant losses and imbalances in business. In this paper the term cargo vehicle fleet is explained, as well as its features. The concept of realibility and its indicators are also explained. In the last chapter, a case study was carried out on the example of transport company with and emphasis on the reliability and acailability of vehicles
Comparative Analysis of the Simulation Software Tools
U radu su prikazani simulacijski programski alati, njihove prednosti i nedostaci te mogućnosti primjene. Programski alati čije su značajke uspoređene u ovom radu su: Arena, AnyLogic, Simio, Simul8, Tecnomatix Plant Simulation i FlexSim, koji se primjenjuju za simulacije s diskretnim događajima, te: Vissim i Simcad Pro, za kontinuirane simulacije. Predstavljene su njihove značajke, prednosti te slabosti programa.This paper shows simulation sofware tools, their advantages and disadvantages and posibilities of appliaction. Programs that are compared in this paper are: Arena, AnyLogic, Simio, Simul8, Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and FlexSim which are used in simulation of discrete events , and: Vissim and Simacad Pro, as simulation software tools used for continious events. They are presented in comparison to other programs along with their advantages and disadvantages, and their appliaction
Analysis of the railway undertaking organization: a case study of the Swiss Federal Railways
Organizacijom se smatra udruživanje ljudskih snaga ka postizanju nekog cilja uz najmanje moguće troškove sa najvećom korisnošću. Tako ustrojena organizacija daje dobre rezultate o stupnju sređenosti sustava. Željeznica je jedan od kompleksnijih modova prometa koja zahtijeva veliku količinu resursa kako bi osigurala kvalitetnu uslugu za svoje korisnike. Od samoga početka izgradnje željezničke mreže u Europi pa sve do današnjeg vremena, željeznica se iskazala kao strateški najprihvatljiviji mod prometa. Strategija da bi se ustanovila, država je donijela temeljni zakon koji definira željeznicu kao centar mobilnosti i integriteta javnog prijevoza. Tržište je teško predvidivo, a ponekad i stohastičko pa je pozornost dana na razvijanju poslovne strategije koje će se moći brzo prilagoditi tržištu te svoje usluge odnosno ponudu uskladiti s potrebama korisnika za znatno snažniji švicarski javni sustav prijevoza.The organisation is considered an association of human forces towards achieving an objective at the lowest possible costs with the highest possible benefit. The organisation thus established provides good results at the level of system regulation. Railway is one of the more complex traffic modes that requires a large amount of resources in order to provide a quality service for its users. From the beginning of the development of the railway network in Europe until today, rail has proven to be the most strategically acceptable mode of transport. The strategy to establish itself has adopted a basic law defining rail as a centre of mobility and integrity of public transport. The market is difficult to predict, and sometimes stochastic, care was taken to develop a business strategy capable of adapting quickly to the market and adjust its services or offer to the needs of users in order to strengthen Switzerland’s public transportation system
Croatia air traffic before and during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic
Zadatak ovog rada je usporediti zračni promet, aviokompanije, tipove zrakoplova, zračne luke i sektore za razdoblje prije i tijekom trajanja pandemije SARS-CoV-2, točnije za razdoblje od 2019. do 2021. godine. U ovom radu je opisan Hrvatski zračni prostor te podjela prostora na klase i sektore. Za analizu i obradu podataka koriste se podaci koji su dobiveni u programu NEST kojeg je osmislila europska organizacija EUROCONTROL. Iz programa NEST dobiveni su podaci o tipovima zrakoplova, aviokompanijama, prometu na zračnim lukama te otvorenim sektorima koji se onda analiziraju i uspoređuju između tri godine. Svrha takvog istraživanja je pokazati koliko je pandemija utjecala na promet unutar Republike Hrvatske te u kojem scenariju o oporavku prometa se nalazimo prema definirana tri scenarija koje je dao EUROCONTROL.Task of this paper is to compare air traffic, airlines, types of aircraft, airports and sectors for period before and during the pandemic of SARS-CoV-2, that includes period from 2019. to 2021. In this paper, the Croatian airspace is described, as well as the divison of the airspace on classes and sectors. In analysis, the data from programme NEST are being used. NEST is a programme developed by the European organisation called EUROCONTROL. From the NEST programme, the data for types of aircraft, airlines, traffic on different airports and oppened sectors, are used. The main goal of this paper is to demonstrate the impact that the pandemic left on the air traffic in the Republic of Croatia. Investigation of Aircraft Accidents at the Airport Caused by the Collision Between Aircraft and Animals
Cilj istraživanja zrakoplovne nesreće ili nezgode nije dodjeljivanje krivnje ili odgovornosti već sprječavanje ponavljanja takvih nesreća i nezgoda. U ovom radu analiziraju se zrakoplovne nesreće i nezgode koje su nastale kao posljedica sudara zrakoplova i životinja na aerodromima. Smjernice za istraživanje ovakvih nesreća i nezgoda uređene su međunarodnom, europskom i nacionalnom regulativom, a osim toga određene su i uloge i odgovornosti svakog pojedinog sudionika. Kroz par stvarnih primjera zrakoplovnih nesreća i nezgoda uzrokovanih sudarom zrakoplova i životinja na aerodromu prikazane su posljedice koje takav sudar nosi i lekcije koje su naučene iz toga. U sklopu ovog rada provedena je i anketa pomoću koje je ispitano kako sadašnji i budući korisnici zračnog prometa doživljavaju sudare zrakoplova i životinja na aerodromima. Kako bi se spriječili ovakvi sudari zračne luke bi trebale pregledavati sadržaje na zračnoj luci i u njihovoj blizini koje privlače ptice/divlje životinje. Uz to, potrebno je izraditi plan upravljanja kako bi se smanjila privlačnost tih sadržaja i smanjio broj prisutnih ptica/divljih životinja ili im uskratiti fizički pristup tim područjima.The purpose of the air accident or incident investigation is not to apportion blame but to find out how similar events might be avoided in the future. This paper analyzes air accidents and incidents that occurred as a result of aircraft and animal collision at the airport. Guidelines for the investigation of such accidents and incidents are regulated by international, European and national regulations, and in addition, the roles and responsibilities of each individual participant are also determined. Through a couple of real-life examples of air accidents and incidents caused by collision between aircraft and animal at the airport, the consequences of such a collision are presented together with the lessons learned from that. A survey was conducted to examine how current and future air traffic users admire collision between aircraft and animal at the airport. To avoid this kind of collision, airports should systematically review features on, and in the vicinity of, the airport that attract birds/wildlife. A management plan should be developed to reduce the attractiveness of these features and to decrease the number of hazardous birds/wildlife present or to deny them physical access to these areas
