Health Effects of Noise and Vibrations at Airports
Zrakoplovi su u prošlosti proizvodili znatno jaku buku koja je imala štetan utjecaj na okoliš i ljudsko zdravlje. Zbog toga su uvedeni parametri za izradu novih zrakoplova koji su znatno tiši i manje djeluju na zdravlje čovjeka. Starije vrste zrakoplova bilo je potrebno modificirati kako bi imali dopuštenje za međunarodne letove. Mjere zaštite od buke primjenjuju se s ciljem sprječavanja nastanka emisije prekomjerne buke, a postojeća buka se nastoji smanjiti na dopuštenu razinu.In the past, airplanes produced significantly loud noise that had a harmful effect on the environment and human health. For this reason, parameters were introduced for the creation of new aircraft that are significantly quieter and have less impact on human health. Older types of aircraft needed to be modified to be approved for international flights. Noise protection measures are applied with the aim of preventing the emission of excessive noise, and the existing noise is tried to be reduced to a permissible level
Comparative Analysis of the Application of Transport Units in Different Modes of Transport
Poznato je da se pojam transporta odnosi na prijevoz ljudi i tereta od izvora do odredišta uz pomoć različitih prijevoznih sredstava, prometne infrastrukture i usluge koja prati organizaciju transporta. Za uspješno i ekonomično obavljanje djelatnosti transporta postoje različite vrste transportnih jedinica koje služe za prijevoz određenih vrsta tereta iz razloga što svaka roba ima svoje značajke koje moraju biti dobro proučene prije početka prijevoza istih. Ovaj rad prikazuje vrste transportnih jedinica kao i njihovu raznoliku uporabu te značajke transportnih jedinica u unimodalnom i intermodalnom transportu.It is known that the term transport refers to the transportation of people and cargo from source to destination with the help of different means of transport, transport infrastructure and services that accompany the organization of transport. For the successful and economical performance of transport activities, there are different types of transport units that are used for the transport of certain types of cargo, for the reason that each commodity has its own characteristics that must be well studied before the start of transport. This paper shows the types of transport units as well as their diverse use and the characteristics of transport units in unimodal and intermodal transport
Aircraft Construction Materials
Prvi osnovni materijali koji su se koristili u zrakoplovstvu bili su drvo i čelik. Daljnjim razvojem zrakoplovstva došlo je do potrebe za boljim performansama zrakoplova te su istraženi i razvijeni novi materijali i njihova svojstva. Materijali i njihova svojstva moraju zadovoljavati brojne zahtjeve u zrakoplovstvu kako bi se koristili stoga su detaljno proučeni i analizirani. U današnje doba koriste se brojni materijali pri izradi zrakoplovne konstrukcije poput metala, nemetala i kompozitnih materijala. Ovim završnim radom prikazani su funkcionalni i eksploatacijski zahtjevi te su analizirana tehnološka svojstva koja materijal mora posjedovati kako bi se mogao koristiti pri izradi zrakoplovne konstrukcije. Nakon analize svojstava su prikazani i opisani materijali iz skupine metala, nemetala te kompoziti koji se koriste pri izradi zrakoplovne konstrukcije.The initial materials used in the aircraft industry were wood and steel. Gradual development of the industry required better performances of the aircrafts so the people started to research and develop new materials and their characteristics. The materials and their characteristics have to meet multiple requirements in order to be used so they have been thoroughly studied and examined. Nowadays the industry uses different materials for airframe like metals, non-metals and composite materials. This final paper presented the operational and working stresses and analyzed the technological characteristics which a specific material has to have in order to be used for constructing the airframe. It also showed and described the materials from different categories: metal, non-metal and composite materials which are used for constructing the airframes
Impact of Transport Infrastructure on Current Mobility Behaviour in the City of Jastrebarsko
Prometna infrastruktura je sastavni dio svakog grada i određuje stupanj mobilnosti stanovnika. Studija javnog prijevoza u gradu Jastrebarskom se bavi potrebom za organizacijom javnog prijevoza u gradu Jastrebarskom. Raštrkanost naselja koja gravitiraju gradu Jastrebarskom čine organizaciju javnog prijevoza koji će služiti svim stanovnicima izazovom. U sklopu studije javnog prijevoza provedeno je anketiranje stanovnika iz kojeg donosimo zaključke o njihovom trenutnom stanju mobilnosti. Osim raštrkanosti naselja izazovi kojima se bavimo u ovom radu su i specifičnosti terena u naseljima, koje utječe na mogućnosti za poboljšanje prometne infrastrukture.Transport infrastructure is a critical part of every city and it determines the degree of mobility of its inhabitants. The Study of Public Transportation in the City of Jastrebarsko involves the need for the organisation of public transportation in the city of Jastrebarsko. Due to scattering of the settlements that are gravitating to the city of Jastrebarsko, organisation of public transportation is challenging. The study also includes a survey of inhabitants from which conclusions about their degree of mobility are made. On top of settlements being scattered, the accesibility of the terrain also poses a challenge, as it determines the available options for public transportation improvement
Security Challenges of Smart Mobile and Wearable Devices
U suvremeno doba korištenje pametnih mobilnih i nosivih uređaja postala je nužna svakodnevica. Postoje razni uređaji koje koriste djeca i odrasli ljudi. Značajna je sigurnost korištenja pametnih mobilnih i nosivih uređaja. Prisutni su ljudi koji žele ukrasti podatke određenom korisniku, a nazivaju se napadači. Postoje razne metode napada putem kojih je moguće pristupiti privatnim i osjetljivim podacima određenog korisnika. Ovaj završni rad donosi metode napada koje se primjenjuju na pametnim mobilnim i nosivim uređajima, a zatim donosi i metode zaštite i prevencije od kibernetičkih prijetnji, odnosno metoda kibernetičkih napada. Kako bi se spriječile razne metode kibernetičkih napada, postoji i nekoliko programa, odnosno mobilnih aplikacija koje sprječavaju kibernetičke napade.In modern times, the use of smart mobile and wearable devices has become an everyday necessity. There are various devices used by children and adults. The safety of using smart mobile and wearable devices is important. There are people who want to steal data from a certain user, and they are called attackers. There are various attack methods through which it is possible to access the private and sensitive data of a particular user. This undergraduate thesis present methods of attacks that are applied to smart mobile and wearable devices, and then presents methods of protection and prevention against cyber threats, i.e. methods of cyber attacks. In order to prevent various methods of cyber attacks, there are also several programs or mobile applications that prevent cyber attacks
Construction of a Wireless Distance Detector Model
U zrakoplovstvu jedna od najvažnijih informacija je znati koliko je zrakoplov udaljen od onoga što se nalazi oko njega jer je to glavni razlog zrakoplovnih nesreća. Bilo da je riječ o manjim udaljenostima, na primjer u završnim trenucima slijetanja, da bi se znalo koliko je još metara preostalo do dodira stajnog trapa s uzletnom sletnom stazom; srednjim udaljenostima u prilazu koliko još stotina metara imamo do praga uzletno sletne staze; ili velikim udaljenostima koliko kilometara ili nautičkih milja je udaljen neki drugi zrakoplov ili meteorološka pojava u zraku. Stoga je jasno da postoji potreba za preciznim i pouzdanim bežičnim mjerenjem udaljenosti. U ovom radu objašnjene su neke od najčešćih metoda bežičnog mjerenja udaljenosti, dane su prednosti i mane svake od njih te za koje se sustave koriste. Prezentiran je proces izrade modela jednog od sustava, komponente od kojih se sastoji te njegove karakteristike.In aviation one of the most important information is to know how far the aircraft is from its surroundings, because that is the main reason of aircraft accidents. Whether it is about small distances; for example in the final moments of landing, so it is possible to know how many meters there are left until the landing gear touches the runway; medium distances, during approach to know how many hundreds of meters are left until the runway threshold; or large distances, how many kilometers or nautical miles is another aircraft or meteorological event in the air. Clearly there is a need for precise and reliable wireless distance measurement. In this final thesis some of the most often used methods of wireless distance measurement are explained, their advantages and disadvantages are given and the systems they are used for. The process of making a model, its components and characteristics of one of the systems is presented in a detailed manner
Measures for increasing level crossings safety of M604 railway line on the Perković-Split section
Ovim radom prikazano je postojeće stanje i prijedlozi za moguća poboljšanja uočenih nedostataka željezničko-cestovni prijelaza, koji predstavljaju kritične točke u odvijanju željezničkog prometa što i dokazuju statistike nesreća jer izvanredni događaji na željezničko-cestovnim prijelazima predstavljaju polovicu svih nesreća u Republici Hrvatskoj u željezničkom prometu, a što je skoro dvostruko više od europskog prosjeka. Dionica pruge Perković-Split je dio pruge M604 koja je tehnološki zastarjela, a na kojoj se trenutno nalazi 19 željezničko-cestovnih prijelaza, od kojih je većina osigurana najnižom razinom osiguranja. Kako bi se povećala sigurnost na promatranoj dionici potrebno je detaljno analizirati postojeće stanje te predložiti moguću modernizaciju infrastrukturnih podsustava. U radu je obrađena postojeća regulativa željezničko-cestovnih prijelaza, podjela željezničko-cestovnih prijelaza s obzirom na način osiguranja te pregled izvanrednih događaja na željezničkoj mreži u Republici Hrvatskoj.This paper presents the current situation and proposals for possible improvements of the observed shortcomings of level crossings, which represent critical points in railway traffic, as evidenced by accident statistics since accidents at level crossings represent half of all railway traffic accidents in the Republic of Croatia, which is almost twice more than the European average. The line section Perković-Split is part of the M604 line, which is technologically obsolete, and on which there are currently 19level crossings, most of which are secured by the lowest level of protection systems. To increase safety on the observed section, it is necessary to analyse in detail the current situation and propose possible modernization of infrastructure subsystems. The paper deals with the existing regulations of railway crossings, classification of railway crossings regarding the protection systems and an overview of accidents on the railway network in the Republic of Croatia
Human Factor in Road Traffic Safety
Čovjek kao vozač ili sudionik u prometu uvelike utječe na sigurnost prometa, što se može i zaključiti iz analize prometnih nesreća. S povećanjem motorizacije sigurnost prometa se ne smanjuje i sa razvojem automobilske industrije povećavaju posljedice. Prometna kultura je jedan od važnih pokazatelja koeficijenta sigurnosti cestovnog prometa. Utjecaj čovjeka uvelike ovisi o njegovim urođenim karakteristikama i osobinama kao i njegovim stečenim znanjima i sposobnostima. Na sigurnost cestovnog prometa utječe čovjek svojim sposobnostima i odlukama, vozilo svojom tehničkom ispravnosti i kvalitetom tehničkih rješenja, cesta svojom kvalitetom, svojstvima i stanjem, incidentni čimbenik svojim iznenadnim i nepredvidivim pojavama u prometu i promet na cesti svojim propisima i načinom upravljanja sudionika u prometu. U ovom završnom radu prikazani su čimbenici sigurnosti prometa, s prikazom analize prometnih nesreća kao i prijedlog poboljšanja edukacije kod mladih.A person as a driver or a traffic participant greatly influences traffic safety, which can also be concluded from the analysis of traffic accidents. Traffic safety does not decrease with the increase in motorization and the consequences increase with the development of the automobile industry. Traffic culture is one of the important indicators of road traffic safety coefficient. The influence of a person largely depends on his innate characteristics and traits as well as his acquired knowledge and abilities. Road traffic safety is influenced by man with his abilities and decisions, the vehicle with its technical correctness and the quality of technical solutions, the road with its quality, properties and condition, the incident factor with its sudden and unpredictable occurrences in traffic, and road traffic with its regulations and way of managing road users. In this final paper, factors of traffic safety are presented, with an analysis of traffic accidents as well as a proposal for improving the education of young people

Održavanje voznog parka sastoji se od niza mjera koje se provode kako bi se vozilo održalo u operativnom stanju, uključuju potrebu za održavanjem, nabavu ili održavanje materijala te sami proces održavanja vozila, koji može biti korektivni ili preventivni. Održavanje voznog parka odnosi se na proces popravka i održavanja vozila u vlasništvu poduzeća ili organizacije. Cilj i svrha održavanja je povećati učinkovitost i sigurnost vozila tijekom eksploatacije. Redovnim praćenjem stanja vozila, postiže se bolja raspoloživost i ispravnost voznog parka te uz to smanjuje mogućnost pojave kvarova što rezultira većom raspoloživošću cijelog voznog parka.Vehicle fleet maintenance consists of a series of measures and activities that are tending to maintain the vehicle in operational state, it includes maintenance needs, purchasing ili maintaining goods and the whole process of vehicle maintenance, which can be corrective or preventive. Fleet maintenance refers to the process of repair and upkeep of vehicles owned by a business or an organization. Cause and purpose of maintenance is to enhance the effectiveness and safety of vehicle during its usage. With regularly updates and monitoring of vehicles, a better availability and correctness of fleet is achieved and it has it’s usage on reducing the possibility of failure cause which results on better availability of the whole fleet
Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Dubrovnik Airport Traffic
Krajem 2019. godine svijet se po prvi puta susreće sa novim tipom respiratornog virusa, danas poznatog kao Covid-19, koji je u kratkom vremenskom razdoblju dobio status pandemije i tako direktno pokrenuo krizu globalne ekonomije, gospodarstva i društva. Spomenuta kriza nije zaobišla ni industriju zračnog prometa, koja je u samom početku bila čak i u potpunosti obustavljena, da bi se kroz određene mjere prilagodbe na novonastalu situaciju, stanje ipak kasnije djelomično popravilo. Zračni promet se nastavio odvijati pod posebnim režimom i s velikim gubitcima. Iznimka nije ni Zračna luka Dubrovnik koja je nakon kontinuiranog dugogodišnjeg rasta zračnog prometa bila primorana utvrditi gubitke nastale globalnom pandemijom, usporediti različite pristupe borbi protiv pandemije te analizirati mjere oporavka i izlaska iz krize.At the end of 2019, the world for the first time encountered a new type of respiratory virus, today known as Covid-19, which in a short period of time gained the status of a pandemic and thus directly triggered a crisis in the global economy, businesses and society. The crisis did not bypass the air transport industry either, which was even completely suspended at the very beginning, but through certain measures of adaptation, the situation was later partially improved. Air traffic continued to operate under a special regime and with heavy losses. Dubrovnik Airport is no exception and after the continuous growth of air traffic for many years, it was forced to determine the losses caused by the global pandemic, to compare different approaches to the fight against the pandemic, and to analyze the measures of recovery and exit from the crisis
