    Application of Traffic Signalling and Equipment with the Aim of Increasing Motorcyclists' Safety on the Zaton Doli - Karasovići section of the DC8

    Sigurnost prometa jedan je od najvećih izazova s kojim se društvo svakodnevno susreće na globalnoj razini. Posebna pažnja se pridaje ranjivim skupinama sudionika, među kojima su i motociklisti. Motociklisti su zbog fizičke izloženosti i specifičnosti vožnje podložni većem riziku od ozljeda i smrtnog stradavanja u slučaju prometne nesreće. Primjena odgovarajuće prometne signalizacije i opreme ključno je za stvaranje sigurnije cestovne infrastrukture, koja omogućava motociklistima siguran sudjelovanje u prometu. U radu je analizirano stanje sigurnosti motociklista na globalnoj, europskoj i nacionalnoj razini te su prikazana rješenja u području prometne signalizacije i opreme koja su namijenjena povećanju sigurnosti motociklista, s konkretnim prijedlozima mjera na najjužnijem dijelu državne ceste DC8.In modern society, road safety has become one of the most significant challenges that society faces on a global scale daily. Special attention is given to vulnerable groups of participants, including motorcyclists. Due to their physical exposure and the specific nature of riding, motorcyclists are more susceptible to greater risk of injuries and fatalities in the event of a traffic accident. Properly implementing appropriate traffic signaling and equipment is a significant measure for creating a safer road infrastructure where motorcyclists can participate in traffic securely. This thesis analyzes the safety status of motorcyclists on a global, European, and national level. It presents solutions in traffic signaling and equipment to enhance motorcyclists' safety, with specific proposals for measures on the southernmost section of the Croatian state road DC8

    Sigurnost je jedna od glavnih briga modernih komunikacijskih sustava. Podatak koji pridonosi tome je činjenica da će troškovi kibernetičkog kriminala do 2025. dosegnuti 10,5 milijardi dolara. Stoga se svakodnevno ulažu ogromne količine resursa kako bi se povećala razina sigurnosti svih vrsta sustava. Određeni sustavi su posebno osjetljivi na sigurnosne probleme, a to su sustavi kritične infrastrukture. Kritičnu infrastrukturu predstavljaju sustavi, mreže i objekti koji pružaju osnovne usluge društvu te predstavljaju okosnicu gospodarstva, sigurnosti i zdravlja nacije, a sigurnost i dobrobit društva ovisna je o njihovoj sigurnosti i otpornosti. Zaštita kritične infrastrukture ključna je za ispravno funkcioniranje društva i oslanja se na nju za održavanje javne sigurnosti, nacionalne sigurnosti i ekonomske stabilnosti. Kibernetički napadi na kritičnu infrastrukturu kao što su transportna, energetska, komunikacijska industrija i ostale mogu uzrokovati značajnu štetu infrastrukturi i društvu koje podržava. Ovaj završni rad daje pregled značajki kritične infrastrukture, opisuje sigurnosne izazove s kojima se kritična infrastruktura susreće, te raspravlja o važnosti razvoja sigurnosnih pristupa i tehnologija za rješavanje rastućih kibernetičkih prijetnji.Security is one of the main concerns of modern communication systems. A contributing figure is the fact that cybercrime costs will reach $10.5 billion by 2025. Therefore, enormous amounts of resources are used every day to increase the level of security of all types of systems. Certain systems are particularly vulnerable to security issues, namely critical infrastructure systems. Critical infrastructure is represented by systems, networks and facilities that provide basic services to society and represent the backbone of the nation's economy, security and health, and the security and well-being of society depends on their security and resilience. Protecting critical infrastructure is critical to the proper functioning of society and relies on it to maintain public safety, national security, and economic stability. Cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure such as the transportation, energy, communications industry and others can cause severe damage to the infrastructure and the society it supports. This bachelor thesis provides an overview of the characteristics of critical infrastructure, describes the security challenges facing critical infrastructure, and discusses the importance of developing security approaches and technology to address evolving cyber threats

    Porastom prometnog opterećenja u gradovima dolazi do velikih zagušenja i samim time povećanja rizika prometovanjem cestovnim prometom. Dosadašnja rješenja poput izgradnje novih prometnica i slično postaju neučinkovita na duži vremenski period te zahtijevaju velika financijska ulaganja. Za stvaranje novih inovativnih rješenja koja se temelji na pametnim tehnologijama bavi se grana prometa inteligentni transportni sustavi (engl. Intelligent Transportation System - ITS). Temeljni koncept ITS-a je da se stvori takva infrastruktura koja se temelji na kooperacijskom djelovanju sudionika prometa i same infrastrukture korištenjem nove tehnologije. Ovim diplomskim radom istražuje se mogućnost primjene bespilotnih letjelica u novim ITS rješenjima. Rad pruža pogled povijesnog razvoja bespilotnih letjelica, klasifikaciju te načine autonomnog upravljanja bespilotnih letjelica. Nadalje, radom su istražena područja primjene sustava bespilotnih letjelica u okviru prometa. Isto tako istraženi su načini implementacije bespilotnih letjelica u postojeće ITS infrastrukture, te je istražena metodologija izrade sub-arhitekture ITS usluga koje primjenjuju autonomne bespilotne letjelice. Također, prema definiranoj metodologiji izrađen je primjer izrade ITS sub-arhitekture koristeći programski alat Enterprise Architect. Na kraju, sve je popraćeno analizom europske i nacionalne regulative za primjenu bespilotnih letjelica.An increase of traffic in cities leads to heavy congestions and, therefore, an increase of risk in road traffic. Previus solutions such as the construction of new roads and the like prove to be a insufficient long term solutions and require large financial investments. Instead a branch in traffic called Intelligent Transportation Systems are all about creating new inovative solutions based on smart technologies. The basic concept of ITS is to create such an infrastrucure based on the cooperative action of traffic participants and the infrastructure itself using new technology. This graduate work investigates the possibility of using unmmaned aerial vehicles as a component of new or existing ITS solutions. The paper provide san overview of the historical development of unmanned aerial vehicles, classification and ways of autonomous management of unmanned aerial vehicles. Furthermore, the work explored the areas of application of unmanned aerial vehicle system sin the context of traffic. Ways of implementing drones into existing ITS infrastructures were also investigated, as well as methodology of creating sub-architecture of ITS services using autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles. Also, according to the defined methodology an example of creating an ITS subarchitecture was created using Enterprise Architect software tool. Finally, everything is accompanied by an analysis of European and national regulations for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles

    Svakodnevnim razvijanjem industrije zračnog prometa, razvijaju se i problemi povezani sa sigurnošću, koji zahtijevaju novija, modernija, sofisticiranija rješenja za njihovo rješavanje. Predmet istraživanja ovog diplomskog rada je primjena programskih alata u upravljanju sigurnošću zračnog prometa. Svrha istraživanja je opisati sustav upravljanja sigurnošću, njegove osnovne komponente i elemente, povijesni razvoj programskih alata u segmentu upravljanja sigurnošću u zračnom prometu, te primjere programskih alata koji se aktualno primjenjuju u upravljanju sigurnošću u zračnom prometu. Cilj rada je detaljnije obraditi načela rada pojedinih programskih alata, te usporediti njihov način rada.With the daily development of the air transport industry, problems related to safety are also developing, which requires newer, modern, more sophisticated solutions to manage them. The subject of this thesis is the application of software tools in the aviation safety management. The purpose of the research is to describe the safety management system, its basic components and elements, the historical development of software tools in the segment of aviation safety management, and examples of software tools that are currently used in aviation safety management.     Opskrbni lanac predstavlja kompleksan lanac koji mora zadovoljiti krajnjeg kupca i postići profitabilnost. Sastoji se od brojnih elemenata koji su međusobno povezani, stoga je ključno osigurati ravnotežu i usklađenost svih segmenata kako bi lanac funkcionirao optimalno. Jedna greška ili zastoj u bilo kojem dijelu lanca može negativno utjecati na cjelokupan sustav, narušiti povjerenje kupaca, povećati troškove i smanjiti profitabilnost. S obzirom na mnoge faktore koji utječu na opskrbni lanac, važno je pažljivo planirati kapacitete skladišta i logističkih procesa u proizvodnji. Svrha i cilj ovog rada je na logističkom opskrbnom lancu te analizira različite razine logističkih sustava s njihovim ulogama i karakteristikama. Objašnjavaju se ključni pojmovi u logističkim sustavima, uloge opskrbnog lanca te kako robni tokovi i distribucijski kanali doprinose funkcionalnosti i efikasnosti lanca. Dalje, detaljno su opisani svi elementi opskrbnog lanca, a metode planiranja logističkih procesa određuju strategiju različitih poduzeća. Velika usredotočenost je na planiranju kapaciteta logističkih procesa, na primjeru Kanban sustava i lean proizvodnje korišten za razrađivanje toka logističkih procesa i planiranje kapaciteta u proizvodnji i radne snage. Na kraju rada prikazani su softverski alati kad je u pitanju Kanban sustav. Ovaj detaljni pristup osigurava optimalnu organizaciju i učinkovitost logističkog opskrbnog lanca tvrtke, pružajući stabilnost u ispunjavanju zahtjeva krajnjih kupaca.The supply chain is a complex chain that must satisfy the end customer and achieve profitability. It consists of numerous elements that are interconnected, so it is crucial to ensure the balance and harmony of all segments in order for the chain to function optimally. A single error or stoppage in any part of the chain can negatively affect the entire system, undermine customer confidence, increase costs and reduce profitability. Considering the many factors that affect the supply chain, it is important to carefully plan the capacities of warehouses and logistics processes in production. The purpose and goal of this work is on the logistics supply chain and analyzes different levels of logistics systems with their roles and characteristics. Key terms in logistics systems, the roles of the supply chain and how product flows and distribution channels contribute to the chain's functionality and efficiency are explained. Next, all elements of the supply chain are described in detail, and the methods of planning logistics processes determine the strategy of different companies. There is a great focus on planning the capacity of logistics processes, for example the Kanban system and lean production used to develop the flow of logistics processes and planning capacity in production and workforce. At the end of the work, software tools are presented when it comes to the Kanban system. This detailed approach ensures optimal organization and efficiency of the company's logistics supply chain, providing stability in meeting the demands of end customers

    U današnjem digitalnom dobu, telekomunikacijske mreže su postale neizostavan temelj za širok spektar usluga koje su dostupne. Jedna od ključnih usluga koja se oslanja na ovu infrastrukturu je navigacija korisnika, koja igra ključnu ulogu u svakodnevnom životu. Ovaj završni rad se bavi analizom elemenata arhitekture telekomunikacijske mreže koji omogućuju isporuku usluge navigacije korisnika kako u zatvorenom tako i na otvorenom prostoru. Istražit će se kako su telekomunikacijske mreže ključne za ovu uslugu, kako se podaci prikupljaju, obrađuju i dostavljaju korisnicima te kako se osigurava visoka razina kvalitete i pouzdanosti ovog važnog servisa. Kroz detaljnu analizu arhitekture, tehnologija i procesa, otkrit će se kako telekomunikacijske mreže omogućavaju korisnicima da se kreću sigurno i učinkovito u svijetu.In today's digital age, telecommunications networks have become an essential foundation for a wide range of services available. One of the key services that relies on this infrastructure is user navigation, which plays a key role in everyday life. This final paper will focus on analyzing the elements of the telecommunications network architecture that enable the delivery of user navigation services both indoors and outdoors. It will be investigated how telecommunication networks are crucial to this service, how data is collected, processed, and delivered to users, and how a high level of quality and reliability is ensured for this vital service. Through a detailed analysis of architecture, technologies, and processes, it will be revealed how telecommunication networks enable users to navigate safely and efficiently in the world

    Therorist Atacks Prevention Measures at Airports

    Završni rad je koncipiran u svrhu pregleda mjera prevencije zračnih luka protiv terorističkih napada, te u cilju sigurnosti svih sudionika i robe u zračnom prometu. Kroz prikaz regulative, opisani su različiti procesi zaštite koji se provode na zračnim lukama. Najvažniji dokument za zaštitu civilnog zrakoplovstva je Dodatak 17 Konvenciji o međunarodnom civilnom zrakoplovstvu te provedbena uredba komisije EU 2015/1998. Obrađene su preventivne mjere zaštite civilnog zrakoplovstva od terorističkih napada, mjere za putnike, zrakoplove, odvojene i kabinske prtljage, tereta, pošte i ostale robe te također mjere vezane uz kibernetičke prijetnje, kontrolu pristupa, zemaljsku stranu i posebne vrste putnika. Prikazani su inovativni sustavi u funkciji protuterorističke obrane, poput metal detektorskih vrata, skenera, oprema za otkrivanje eksploziva, te neprobojnih vrata u pilotskoj kabini.The thesis has the purpose of reviewing airport prevention measures against terrorist attacks, and for the safety of all participants and cargo in air traffic. Through the presentation of the regulations, various security processes implemented at airports are described. The most important document for the security of civil aviation is Appendix 17 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation and the EU Commission Regulation 2015/1998. Preventive measures to secure civil aviation from terrorist attacks are covered, i.e., measures for passengers, aircraft, separate and cabin baggage, cargo, mail and other goods, as well as measures related to cyber threats, access control, landside and special types of passengers. Innovative systems of counterterrorism are presented, including metal detector doors, scanners, explosive detection equipment and bulletproof cockpit doors

The organization of influenza vaccine transportation chains in the Republic of Croatia plays a pivotal role in achieving successful public health prevention and protection.     Prijevoz tereta zrakoplovom je danas sve više traženo. Brzina, pouzdanost i sigurnost koju pruža zrakoplovna industrija ne može se mjeriti s ostalim prometnim granama. Zbog značajne potražnje te količine tereta koji je predmet prijevoza, na velikim svjetskim zračnim lukama više nisu bili dovoljni postojeći kapaciteti teretnih terminala već se moralo uz proširenje infrastrukture zračne luke osigurati i različite nove usluge u segmentu prihvata i otpreme tereta. Takav infrastrukturni razvoj stvorio je prostor na zračnim lukama koji osigurava siguran, učinkovit i brz prijevoz tereta, a zbog svoje kompleksnosti i veličine nazvan je Cargo City. Unutar Cargo City-a nalazi se sve što je potrebno za prihvat i otpremu te prijevoz tereta. Osim toga, na prostorima Cargo Citya se nalaze i špediteri koji prevoze različite vrste tereta. Ono što bi za Republiku Hrvatsku bilo dobro za gospodarski razvitak je realizacija projekta Cargo City na području Zračne luke Franjo Tuđman kroz koji bi se prevozio teret iz hrvatskih industrija ili teret sa ostalih prometnih grana, konkretno luke Rijeka.Cargo transportation by air is increasingly in demand today. The speed, reliability and safety provided by the aviation industry can not be compared with other transport branches. Due to the significant demand and the amount of cargo being transported, the existing capacity of the cargo terminals at the world's major airports was no longer sufficient, but in addition to the expansion of the airport infrastructure, various new services in the segment of cargo acceptance and dispatch had to be provided. Such infrastructural development has created a space at airports that ensures safe, efficient and fast cargo transportation, and because of its complexity and size it has been called Cargo City. Inside Cargo City, there is everything needed for receiving and shipping and transporting cargo. In addition, there are freight forwarders transporting different types of cargo on the premises of Cargo City. What would be good for the economic development of the Republic of Croatia is the implementation of the Cargo City project in the area of the Franjo Tuđman Airport, through which cargo from Croatian industries or cargo from other transport branches, specifically the port of Rijeka, would be transported
