Analysis of Public Roads in Brod-Posavina County with Improvement Proposals
U završnom radu prikazana je analiza javnih cesta Brodsko-posavske županije s prijedlozima poboljšanja. Opisan je položaj same županije te su navedene njene osnovne značajke. Za jačanje razvojnog potencijala Brodsko-posavske županije, ugodniji život stanovnika i privlačenje ulagača važnu ulogu ima razvijenost prometne infrastrukture na njenim područjima. Navedeni su prikazi i značajke mreže javnih cesta te je povedena analiza javnih cesta na području županije. Razmotreni su i prijedlozi za poboljšanje mreže javnih cesta koji će omogućiti bolje prometovanje na području gradova Nove Gradiške i Slavonskog Broda te posljedično utjecati i na njihov daljnji razvoj. Za upravljanje, građenje, rekonstrukciju i održavanje županijskih i lokalnih cesta na području županije odgovorna je Županijska uprava za ceste Brodsko-posavske županije kao i za plan održavanja i građenja županijskih i lokalnih cesta na području županije. Za mreže javnih cesta donose se mjere njihova poboljšanja. Za Brodsko-posavsku županiju su značajna tri projekta koja će se realizirati za poboljšanje mreže javnih cesta, a to su: južna zaobilaznica Nove Gradiške, istočna vezna cesta Slavonskog Broda i izgradnja državne ceste D431.The final thesis presents an analysis of the public roads in the Brod-Posavina County with suggestions for improvement. The location of the county itself is described and its basic features are listed. The development of transport infrastructure in its areas plays an important role in strengthening the development potential of the Brod-Posavina County, making life more comfortable for the residents and attracting investors. Presentations and features of the public road network are listed, and an analysis of the public roads in the county is presented. The proposals are provided for improving the network of public roads, which will enable better traffic in the area of the towns of Nova Gradiška and Slavonski Brod and will consequently have impact on their further development. The County Administration for Roads of the Brod-Posavina County is responsible for the management, construction, reconstruction, and maintenance of the county and local roads, as well as for the plan of their maintenance and construction in the county. For the public road networks, the measures for their improvement are adopted. For the Brod-Posavina County, there are three significant projects that will be implemented to improve the public road network, namely: the southern bypass of Nova Gradiška, the eastern connecting road of Slavonski Brod and the construction of the state road D431
Possibilities of Inventory Optimize
Zalihe imaju ključnu ulogu u poslovanju, stoga je nužno analizirati različite metode upravljanja zalihama kako bi se postigla maksimalna optimizacija. Razvoj naprednih komunikacijskih i prometnih tehnologija potaknuo je proširenje velikih gradova i integraciju urbanih i ruralnih područja. Upravljanje zalihama izuzetno je važno u ovom kontekstu, jer zalihe čine jednu od ključnih imovina poduzeća, budući da promet robe često čini glavni izvor prihoda. Upravljanje dobavnim lancem, uključujući upravljanje zalihama, zahtijeva detaljan pristup od strane kvalificiranih stručnjaka. Postoje razne tehnologije koje pomažu u postizanju optimalnog balansa između vremena isporuke i razina zaliha, pri čemu nema univerzalnog rješenja, već se tehnologije primjenjuju sukladno specifičnim scenarijima.Inventory plays a crucial role in business operations, so it is essential to analyze various inventory management methods to achieve maximum optimization. The development of advanced communication and transportation technologies has spurred the expansion of large cities and the integration of urban and rural areas. Inventory management is extremely important in this context, as inventory constitutes one of the key assets of a company, given that the movement of goods often forms a major source of revenue. Supply chain management, including inventory management, requires a detailed approach by qualified experts. There are various technologies that help achieve an optimal balance between delivery time and inventory levels, with no universal solution; instead, technologies are applied according to specific scenarios
Traffic and Technical Characteristics of High-speed Railways in France
Cilj ovog rada je opisati razvoj željeznice za brze vlakove u Francuskoj, prometne i tehničke karakteristike te željeznice, njezinu infrastrukturu i različite karakteristike koje je obilježavaju. Rad je nastao metodološkim pristupom analize literature o relevantnoj temi. Mreža željeznica za brze vlakove započela je svoj razvoj u Francuskoj 1970-ih godina. Uvođenje željeznice za brze vlakove u Francuskoj odmah je predstavilo ogroman uspjeh, te je konkuriralo mnogim vrstama prometa, od kojih je jedan bio i zračni promet. Željeznica za brze vlakove u Francuskoj postigla je velik uspjeh tijekom 1980-ih i 1990-ih godina, pogotovo od strane javnih vlasti koje su je smatrale pokretačem ekonomskog razvoja. Vlakovi koji prometuju LGV željeznicom u Francuskoj svake godine prevezu oko 110 milijuna putnika, te je 2013. zabilježeno kako je TGV vlakovima putovalo 2 milijarde putnika od početka rada željeznice za brze vlakove u Francuskoj.Unaprjeđenja LGV željeznice mogu biti u obliku izgradnje novih kolosijeka, što predstavlja strogo standardizirani proces s točno određenim komponentama i koracima kako bi brzi vlakovi u Francuskoj prometovali na najsigurniji mogući način, ili u obliku novih modela TGV vlakova.The aim of this project is to describe the development of the high-speed railway in France, the traffic and technical characteristics of the railway, its infrastructure and the various characteristics that characterize it. The project was created with a methodological approach of literature analysis on the relevant topic. The high-speed rail network began its development in France in the 1970s. The introduction of highspeed railways in France was an immediate success, competing with many forms of transport, one of which was air transport. High-speed rail in France achieved great success during the 1980s and 1990s, especially by public authorities who saw it as an initiator of economic development. Trains operating on the LGV railway in France transport about 110 million passengers every year, and in 2013 it was recorded that 2 billion passengers traveled on TGV trains since the beginning of the operation of the high-speed railway in France. Improvements to the LGV railway can take the form of new track construction, which is a strictly standardized process with precisely defined components and steps to make high-speed trains in France run in the safest possible way, or in the form of new TGV train models
Data Collection and Processing in Public Urban Transport
Prikupljanje i obrada podataka u javnom gradskom prijevozu odnosi se na parametre koji karakteriziraju, primjerice, teorije o maksimalnom vremenu usluge, ukupne podatke o godišnjem broju prevezenih putnika, ostvarene putničke kilometre, prosječno vrijeme prometa, prosječnu brzinu putovanja u sustavu, ekonomske pokazatelje poslovanje. To su podaci koji odražavaju vrijednost određenih varijabli u određenom vremenskom periodu. Odnose se na opće stanje sustava, te omogućuju praćenje njegovog ponašanja u željenom vremenskom razdoblju kao i usporedbu sa sličnim sustavima. Promatranjem dobivenih podataka na mikrorazini moguće je utvrditi kritične točke u sustavu te neposredne i precizne uzroke prometnih problema koji su povod za analizu. Najvažnije veličine koje definiraju ponašanje sustava u javnom gradskom prijevozu na mikrorazini su protok putnika, interval, brzina i vrijeme obrta. Prikupljanje podataka brojanjem putnika ili mjerenjem različitih količina prometa vrši se za potrebe analize postojećeg sustava, najčešće u funkciji kontrole ponašanja sustava ili prilikom planiranja i projektiranja novih sustava. U praksi su vidljivi negativni učinci nepotpunog ili nedovoljno preciznog brojanja prometa, u konačnici i nepotpunog prikaza procesa gdje se tehnička rješenja kreiraju bez uzimanja u obzir svih potrebnih dimenzija koje definiraju prometni sustav JGP-a. Također ne postoji standardizirana metodologija koja bi dovela do željenih ulaznih podataka koji zadovoljavaju analizu i u konačnici rezultiraju kvalitetnim prikazom podataka koji se koriste u izradi tehničkih rješenja prometne problematike. Osim prikaza načina brojanja putnika ili mjerenja pojedinih veličina u javnom gradskom prijevozu, cilj ovog rada je ukazati na nedostatke u korištenju dosadašnjih metoda, odnosno na nedostatak prikupljanja određenih podataka, što onemogućuje provedbu kvalitetna, odnosno precizna analiza transportnih procesa.The collection and processing of data in public urban transport refers to parameters that characterize, for example, the characteristics of the traffic flow, theories about the maximum service time, total data on the annual number of transported passengers, realized passenger kilometers, average traffic time, average travel speed in the system, economic business indicators. These are data that reflect the value of certain variables in a certain period of time. They relate to the general state of the system, and enable monitoring of its behavior in the desired period of time as well as comparison with similar systems. By observing the obtained data on a micro level, it is possible to determine the critical points in the system and the immediate and precise causes of traffic problems that are the reason for the analysis. The most important quantities that define the behavior of the system in public urban transport at the micro level are passenger flow, interval, speed and turn time. The collection of data by counting passengers or measuring different amounts of traffic is done for the purposes of analyzing the existing system, most often in the function of controlling the behavior of the system or when planning and designing new systems. In practice, the negative effects of incomplete or insufficiently precise traffic counting are visible, ultimately and incomplete representation of the process where technical solutions are created without taking into account all the necessary dimensions that define the traffic system of the JGP. There is also no standardized methodology that would lead to the desired input data that satisfy the analysis and ultimately result in a high-quality presentation of the data that is used in the development of technical solutions to traffic issues. In addition to presenting the method of counting passengers or measuring certain sizes in public city transport, the aim of this paper is to point out the shortcomings in the use of current methods, i.e. the lack of collection of certain data, which prevents the implementation of a high-quality, i.e. precise analysis of transport processes
Analysis of Shared Mobility Services in Urban Transport
Održiva gradska mobilnost jest duguročno planiranje koje se sastoji od niza koraka za njezinu realizaciju, koji su u tom razdoblju ostvarivi, kako bi se došlo do glavnog cilja koj je u toku planiranja postavljen kao temeljni problem. U gradovima se akumulira i koncentrira veliki broj ekonomskih aktivnosti, te funkcioniranje gradova bez odgovarajućeg transportnog sustava nije moguće. Glavni transportni problemi pojavljuju s uglavnom u urbanim područjima. Sama produktivnost gradova uveliko ovisi o efikasnosti transportnog sustava i održivosti gradske mobilnosti stanovništva. Motorizirana vozila, osobito osobni automobili, imaju veliki negativan učinak na na okoliš, klimatske promjene i druge lokalne, odnosno globalne probleme, koje je moguće rješiti primjenom održive mobilnosti u samom vođenju i organizaciji prijevoza putnika. Održivim načinom planiranja kao što su uvođenje električnih vozila, vozila s nultom emisijom štetnih plinova te prilagodbom ljudskog razmišljanja može se znatno povećati korištenje javnog gradskog prijevoza ali na način koji neće biti štetan za okoliš i živa bića.Sustainable urban mobility is long-term planning that consists of a series of steps for its realization, which are achievable in that period, in order to reach the main goal that was set as a fundamental problem during planning. A large number of economic activities accumulate and concentrate in cities, and the functioning of cities without an adequate transport system is not possible. The main transport problems occur mainly in urban areas. The very productivity of cities largely depends on the efficiency of the transport system and the sustainability of urban population mobility. Motorized vehicles, especially passenger cars, have a large negative effect on the environment, climate change and other local and global problems, which can be solved by applying sustainable mobility in the management and organization of passenger transport. With a sustainable way of planning, such as the introduction of electric vehicles, vehicles with zero emission of harmful gases and the adaptation of human thinking, the use of public city transport can be significantly increased, but in a way that will not be harmful to the environment and living beings
Air Transportation of Deportees
U ovom završnom radu prikazan je prijevoz deportiranih osoba zračnim prometom. Kao jedno od gorućih problema Europske unije, države članice suočene su s problemom ilegalnih ulazaka na svoje teritorije. Upravo prijevoz ovakve vrste posebnih kategorija putnika predstavlja vrlo lako i brzo rješavanje problema s kojima se mnoge zemlje susreću. Bitnu ulogu u sigurnosnom pogledu imaju zaštitni pratitelji koji su zaduženi za sigurnost cjelokupnog leta od moguće ugroze. U radu su opisani procesi deportacije zrakoplovima te svi aspekti koji se uzimaju u obzir prilikom ugovaranja ove vrste prijevoza s naglaskom na izvanredne zrakoplovne prijevoznike. Izvanredni zračni prijevoznici su često rješenje za kojima posežu države članica Europske unije kao i Agencija za europsku graničnu i obalnu stražu. Prijevoznici su obvezni držati se procedura u skladu s nacionalnim zakonodavstvom i propisima koje propisuje Međunarodna organizacija civilnog zrakoplovstva.This final paper presents the transport of deported persons by air. As one of the burning problems of the European Union, Member States face the problem of illegal entry on their territories. Air transportation is the type of the transport of this special category of passengers that is very easy and quick solution of the problem faced by many European countries. An important role in terms of safety is played by security escorts who oversee the safety on the flight from possible endangerment. This final paper describes the process of deportation by air transport and all aspects that are taken into consideration when contracting this type of transport with an emphasis on charter airlines. Charter airlines are often a solution for which the members of the European Union as well as European Border and Coast Guard Agency reach for. Carriers are obliged to follow the procedures in accordance with national legislation and regulations by the International Civil Aviation Organization
Conceptual traffic solution for the intersection of Osječka Street and Škurinje junction (A7) in the city of Rijeka
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je izraditi idejno prometno rješenje za raskrižje Osječke ulice i čvora Škurinje u gradu Rijeci. Raskrižje se trenutno suočava s velikim prometnim opterećenjem te samim time učestalim zagušenjima kao i smanjenom razinom sigurnost cestovnog prometa. U ovome istraživanju provedena je detaljna analiza postojećeg stanja prometnih tokova i infrastrukture. Prikupljeni su podaci o prometnom opterećenju, brzinama kretanja vozila i prometnim nesrećama koje su se dogodile u zoni raskrižja. Na temelju dobivenih podataka identificirani su ključni problemi koji utječu na propusnu moć i sigurnost na raskrižju. Temeljem zaključaka proizašlih iz analize postojećeg stanja kreirane su dvije moguće varijante idejnih prometnih rješenja. Propusna moć idejnih prometnih rješenja testirana je upotrebom mikrosimulacijskog alata Vissim. Simulacije su provedene za postojeće stanje i varijantna rješenja. Na temelju evaluacije i komparacije rezultata predloženo je optimalno idejno prometno rješenje koje uključuje promjene u geometriji raskrižja i organizaciji prometaThe goal of this thesis is to create a conceptual traffic solution for the intersection of Osječka Street and Škurinje junction in the city of Rijeka. The intersection is currently facing a heavy traffic load and therefore frequent congestion as well as a reduced level of road traffic safety. In this research, a detailed analysis of the current state of traffic flows and infrastructure was carried out. Data were collected on traffic load, vehicle speeds and traffic accidents that occurred in the intersection area. On the basis of the obtained data, the key problems affecting the maximum road capacity and safety at the intersection were identified. Based on the conclusions derived from the analysis of the existing situation, two possible variants of conceptual traffic solutions were created. The maximum road capacity of conceptual traffic solutions was tested using the Vissim microsimulation tool. Simulations were carried out for the existing state and variant solutions. Based on the evaluation and comparison of the results, an optimal conceptual traffic solution was proposed, which includes changes in the intersection geometry and traffic organization
Analysis of the Impact of Drug Use on Road Traffic Safety
Ovaj se rad bavi temom utjecaja konzumacije droga na sigurnost cestovnog prometa, te se detaljnije razmatraju vrste droga, zakonodavstvo, stanje problematike u Republici Hrvatskoj te preduvjeti za sigurnost prometa. Ovisnost predstavlja nemogućnost bez nečega ili ikoga; uvjetovanost čime ili zavisnost te ne biti samostalan. Može biti psihološkog ili fiziološkog karaktera. Droga jest svaka tvar prirodnoga ili umjetnoga podrijetla, uključivši psihotropne tvari, uvrštene u popis droga i psihotropnih tvari. Europljani svake godine potroše oko 30 milijardi eura na droge, od čega je oko 39% na kanabis, 31% na kokain, 25% na heroin te 5% na amfetamine i MDMA. Najveće tržište droga u Europi odnosi se na kanabis. U RH je u 2020. godini prijavljeno ukupno 2.645 kaznenih djela povezanih s drogama. Od 2005. do 2019. godine u RH je identificirano ukupno 118 novih psihoaktivnih tvari (najviše sintetskih kanabinoida i sintetskih katinona). Čovjek svojim ponašanjem direktno utječe na sigurnost cestovnog prometa, a na takvo ponašanje mogu utjecati brojni faktori (konzumacija alkohola, droga, lijekova, umor i sl.). Stoga je najvažnije preventivno djelovati kako bi se izbjegle neželjene posljedice. Preventivno čovjek treba sam djelovati, ali bitan preduvjet za sigurnost u cestovnom prometu tiče se i svih dionika u državi. Drugim riječima, neophodan je stabilan sistem organizacije društva. Od velike važnosti je i poboljšanje struktura mjera društvene intervencije kroz akcijske programe sigurnosti prometa. U sprječavanju zlouporabe opojnih sredstava u cestovnom prometu veliku ulogu ima i policija koja konstantno mora kontrolirati stanje vozača na cestama. Kontrola kao preventivno sredstvo ima za cilj ponašanje sudionika u prometu zadržati u određenim normativno dozvoljenim okvirima.This paper deals with the topic of the impact of drug use on road traffic safety, and discusses in more detail the types of drugs, legislation, the situation in the Republic of Croatia and the prerequisites for traffic safety. Addiction is an impossibility without something or anyone; conditioning by which or dependence you do not be independent. It can be psychological or physiological in nature. Drugs are any substance of natural or artificial origin, including psychotropic substances, included in the list of drugs and psychotropic substances. Europeans spend about 30 billion euros each year on drugs, of which about 39% are on cannabis, 31% on cocaine, 25% on heroin and 5% on amphetamines and MDMA. The largest drug market in Europe is cannabis. In 2020, a total of 2,645 drug-related criminal offenses were reported in the Republic of Croatia. From 2005 to 2019, a total of 118 new psychoactive substances were identified in the Republic of Croatia (mostly synthetic cannabinoids and synthetic cathinones). Man's behavior directly affects on road traffic safety, and such behavior can be influenced by numerous factors (consumption of alcohol, drugs, medications, fatigue, etc.). Therefore, the most important thing is to take preventive action to avoid unwanted consequences. Man should act preventively on his own, but an important precondition for road traffic safety also applies to all stakeholders in the country. In other words, a stable system of organization of society is necessary. It is also of great importance to improve the structure of social intervention measures through road traffic safety action programs. The police also play a major role in preventing the misuse of narcotics in traffic, and they must constantly monitor the condition of drivers on the roads. Control as a preventive measure aims to keep the behavior of traffic participants within certain normatively permitted limits
Calculation of Route Charges for Comparable Traffic Flows Between the Same Airports
Velik dio europskog zračnog prostora pod nadzorom je EUROCONTROL-a − paneuropske, civilno-vojne organizacije čija je osnovna funkcija potpora europskom zrakoplovstvu. Na području djelovanja EUROCONTROL-a implementiran je jedinstven način obračuna i naplate troškova za pružene usluge u zračnoj plovidbi. Planiranje troškova, ugovaranje cijene te naplatu izvršava Centralni ured za naplatu rutnih naknada. Svrha istraživanja u ovom završnom radu je proučavanje metodologije izračuna rutnih naknada, računanje rutnih naknada za različite letove između parova gradova te usporedba i analiza dobivenih rezultata.The major part of European airspace is under the supervision of EUROCONTROL, a pan-european, civil-military organisation, whose primary function is to support European aviation. Unique method for collection and cost calculation for air navigation services that are provided has been implemented in EUROCONTROL's area of activity. Cost planning, price negotiation and collection of fees are carried out by the Central Route Charge Office. The purpose of this thesis' research is to explore the calculation methodology of route charges, route charge calculation for different flights between the city pairs and comparison of the obtained results with proper analysis
Using Big Data in Intercity Passenger Transport Planning Process
Big Data tehnologija donosi brojne prednosti i moguće ju je uključiti u sve aspekte poslovanja, pa tako i u transportne procese. Big Data ili veliki skupovi podataka mogu povećati efikasnost poslovanja, smanjiti troškove i općenito poboljšati kvalitetu poslovnih procesa i zadovoljstvo korisnika. Ovaj rad istražuje mogućnosti primjene Big Data sustava u međugradskom prijevozu putnika te prikazuje njihov značaj u procesu planiranja prijevoza. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati na koji način se koristi Big Data tehnologija kako bi, uz njezinu upotrebu, pozitivno utjecali na proces planiranja prijevoza. Osim širokih mogućnosti primjene, treba pripaziti i na brojne izazove vezane uz privatnost i sigurnost podataka, kao i na tehničke izazove koji se pojavljuju u procesu njihove obrade i analize. U ovom radu općenito su opisani veliki skupovi podataka, načini njihove primjene u prometnom sustavu te su prikazani konkretni primjeri njihovog korištenja u planiranju međugradskog prijevoza putnika. Iako se suvremeni elektronički sustavi temelje na obradi velike količine podataka, ti podaci su samo djelić onoga što nas stvarno okružuje i postoji oko nas. U sklopu ovog diplomskog rada prikazani su mogućnosti primjene Big Data sustava za potrebe definiranja potrebne prijevozne ponude te procjenu mogućih slabosti prometne mreže međugradskog prijevoza putnika. Prikazane su prednosti i nedostatci korištenja različitih modova prijevoza na različitim udaljenostima putovanja, čime se otvara mogućnost poboljšanja učinkovitosti međugradskih prometnih sustava i promiče koordinirani razvoj regionalne integracije.Big Data technology brings numerous adventages and it is possible to include it in all aspects of buisnnes, including transport processes. Big Data or large data sets can increase buisness efficiency, reduce costs and generally improve the quality of buisness processes and customer satisfaction. This master thesis investigates the use of Big Data in intercitiy passenger transport and shows its significance in the transport planning process. The aim of this research is to show how Big Data technology can be used in order to positively influence the transport planning process. In addition to wide application possibilities, one should also be aware of the numerous challenges that manifest themselves in data privacy and security, as well as technical challenges that arise in the process of data processing and analysis. In this master thesis, Big Data Systems are generally described, as well as the ways of their application in transport system, and concrete examples of their use in planning intercity passenger transport are presented. Although the amount of data we process seems very large, it is only a part of what really surrounds us. This master thesis also gives an assessment of the possible weaknesses of the transport network of intercity passenger transport, and of the need to increase or decrease the transport supply. The advantages and disadvantages of using different transport modalities at different travel distances are presented, which opens up the possibility of improving the efficiency of the intercity transport systems and promotes the coordinated development of regional integration
