Influence of Dynamic Road Markings Testing on their Quality
Oznake na kolniku dio su prometne signalizacije koji služi za vođenje prometa, reguliranje prometa, upozoravanje na stanje na cestama, upozoravanje na stanje i situaciju u prometu i informiranje vozača o zakonskim ograničenjima. Jedan od bitnijih faktora kvalitete oznaka na kolniku je razina retrorefleksije. Kako bi oznake na kolniku zadržale svoju kvalitetu moraju se redovno održavati, kao i čimbenici vidljivosti oznaka na kolniku, odnosno retrorefleksija. Na vidljivost oznaka na kolniku negativan utjecaj imaju prometni čimbenici, klimatski uvjeti, odnosno oborine, sunce, održavanje cesta i drugi. Postoje dva načina ispitivanja retrorefleksije oznaka na kolniku, a to su statičko i dinamičko ispitivanje retrorefleksije. Cilj ovog rada je utvrditi utjecaj dinamičkog ispitivanja retrorefleksije oznaka na kolniku na njihovu kvalitetu. Nakon analize rezultata dinamičkog ispitivanja retrorefleksije oznaka na kolniku nekoliko cesta i dionica autocesta na različitim terenima u RH, provedena je evaluacija rezultata. Nakon evaluacije utvrđen je utjecaj dinamičkog ispitivanja retrorefleksije na održavanje oznaka na kolniku u različitim dijelovima Hrvatske na cestama različite količine prometa i utjecaja okoline. Podatci o ispitivanju retrorefleksije dobiveni su od Zavoda za prometnu signalizaciju Fakulteta prometnih znanosti Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Na samom kraju, nakon dokazivanja pozitivnog utjecaja dinamičkog ispitivanja na kvalitetu oznaka na kolniku, dat je i prijedlog za optimizaciju održavanja oznaka na kolniku.Road markings are a part of traffic signaling that serves to guide traffic, regulate traffic, warn about road conditions, warn about traffic conditions, and inform drivers about legal restrictions. One of the more important factors of the quality of pavement markings is the level of retroreflection. In order for pavement markings to maintain their quality, they must be regularly maintained, along with the visibility factors of pavement markings, i.e. retroreflection. Traffic factors, climate conditions such as precipitation, sunlight and others, and road maintenance have a negative impact on the visibility of pavement markings. There are two ways of testing retroreflection of pavement markings, namely static and dynamic retroreflection testing. The aim of this paper is to determine the impact of dynamic retroreflection testing of pavement markings on their quality. After analyzing the results of the dynamic test of retroreflection of markings on the pavement of several roads and sections of highways on different terrains in the Republic of Croatia, an evaluation of the results was carried out. After the evaluation, the influence of the dynamic retroreflection test on the maintenance of pavement markings in different parts of Croatia on roads with different volumes of traffic and environmental influences was determined. The data on the retroreflection test were obtained from the Traffic Signaling Institute, Faculty of Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb. Finally, after proving the positive impact of dynamic testing on the quality of pavement markings, a proposal was made for optimizing the maintenance of pavement markings
Takeoff Performance Characteristics of Boeing 737 Aircraft
Završni rad bavi se proučavanjem zrakoplova Boeing 737, njegovih izvedbi, tehničko-eksploatacijskih karakteristika te performansama polijetanja. Također, prikazuje se CS-25 – dokument EASA-e u okviru zahtjeva za polijetanje zrakoplova klase A. Određene su performanse polijetanja u zadanim uvjetima sa nominalnim potiskom i sa procedurom smanjenog potiska. Potom su određeni dobiveni parametri uspoređeni sa zahtjevima regulative.This paper deals with the study of the Boeing 737 aircraft, its variants, technicaloperational characteristics and take-off performance. An EASA document, CS-25 is also shown. Specificly, the framework of take-off requirements for Class A aircraft. The take-off performance under given conditions with nominal thrust and with the reduced thrust takeoff procedure are determined. The obtained parameters are then compared with the regulatory requirements
Implementation of Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 in the context of Assistive Technology
Digitalna transformacija mijenja način poslovanja ili s druge srane stvara novi način poslovanja. Strategija digitalne transformacije pristup je preoblikovanju poduzeća kako bi se digitalna tehnologija uključila u sve odgovarajuće aspekte. Digitalnu transformaciju karakterizira spajanje naprednih tehnologija i integracija fizičkih i digitalnih sustava. Budući da informacijsko- komunikacijske tehnologije imaju važnu ulogu u životu čovjeka, predstavljene su kao bitan čin današnjeg digitalnog društva pa je tako utjecaj tehnologije na zdravstveni i društveni kontekst bio relevantan sa stajališta usluga koje se mogu pružiti na razini pacijenata. Na osnovu toga, danas je sve veća primjena asistivne tehnologije u drušvu 5.0 Korištenje asistivne tehnologije je simbolično, kulturno i povijesno kontekstualizirano. U tom smislu, ista promiče, ali i sprječava sudjelovanje u društvu. Također korištenje iste uzima u obzir da su takve tehnologije markeri identiteta, odnosno alat za neovisnost s jedne strane, ali i simbol invaliditeta ili ovisnosti s druge strane.Digital transformation changes the way of doing business or, on the other hand, creates a new way of doing business. A digital transformation strategy is an approach to reshaping a business to include digital technology in all relevant aspects. Digital transformation is characterized by the merging of advanced technologies and the integration of physical and digital systems. Since information and communication technologies play an important role in human life, they are presented as an essential part of today's digital society, so the impact of technology on the health and social context was relevant from the point of view of the services that can be provided at the patient level. Based on this, the use of assistive technology in society 5.0 is increasing today. The use of assistive technology is symbolically, culturally and historically contextualized. In this sense, it promotes, but also prevents participation in society. Its use also takes into account that such technologies are markers of identity, i.e. a tool for independence on the one hand, but also a symbol of disability or dependence on the other
Aplication of Information and Communication Technology in Agricultural Activities
Ovaj diplomski rad opisuje primjenu informacijsko komunikacijske tehnologije u poljoprivredi. Navedena je IoT tehnologija, primjena IoT u poljoprivredi te način povezivanja preko LoRaWAN tehnologije. Navedena je informacijsko komunikacijska tehnologija u prepoznavanju muznih krava na farmama i automatski muzni sustav, odnosno primjena robota za mužnju. U ratarskoj proizvodnji navedena je primjena GPS uređaja, koje se informacije mogu dobiti primjenom GPS, kao i proces sušenja. U operaciji žetve žitarica, koriste se moderni kombajni koji imaju više vrsta senzora, te je navedeno koji su to senzori i koja im je funkcija i prednosti koje se dobivaju upotrebom tih senzora. Cilj rada je prikazati koji se senzori koriste najviše u stočarskom i ratarskom dijelu poljoprivrede te koja je njihova funkcija te kako IoT tehnologija pomaže u poljoprivrednom sektoru.This graduation thesis describes the application of Information and Communication Technology in agriculute. IoT Technology, the application of IoT in agriculture and the method of connection via LoRaWAN Technology are mentioed. Information and Communication Technology in the recognition of dairy cows on farms and the automatic mikling system, i.e. the application of milking robots, are mentioned. In agricultural production, the use of GPS devices is specified which information can be obtained by using GPS, as well as the process of drying. In the operation of grain harvesting, modern combines are used that have several types of sensors, and it is stated which sensors they are and what their function is and the adventages obtained from the use of these sensors. The main part of the graduation thesis is to show which sensors are used the most in livestock and arable agriculture and what their function is and how IoT technology helps in the agricultural sector
Implementation of the OmniChannel Communication in Electronic Business
Ovaj diplomski rad istražuje implementaciju komunikacijskog koncepta Omnichannel u okviru elektroničkog poslovanja, s posebnim naglaskom na primjeru kompanije VELUX. Omnichannel pristup podrazumijeva pružanje podrške kupcima u vezi s proizvodima i uslugama putem raznih kanala, platformi i uređaja. Rad analizira strategiju kompanije VELUX usmjerenu prema krajnjim korisnicima i planove za usvajanje Omnichannela do 2030. godine. Projekt Omnichannel uključuje razvoj naprednijeg kontakt centra i integraciju različitih kanala komunikacije (digitalni, komunikacijski kanali, komunikacija licem u lice i pisana komunikacija). Također se istražuje tehnologija interaktivnog glasovnog odgovora (eng. Interactive Voice Response – IVR) za olakšavanje identifikacije te pohranjivanja korisnika. Kroz analizu dosadašnjih istraživanja, rad potvrđuje važnost inovacija za poslovni uspjeh i prilagođavanje digitalnoj revoluciji. Prikazane su relevantne literature kao što su Cordon, Garcia-Milà, Ferreiro Vilarino i Caballero, te Cao, koje se bave različitim aspektima Omnichannela i njegovom evolucijom. Očekivani rezultati istraživanja uključuju analizu novih komponenata sustava nakon implementacije Omnichannela, kao i predložena rješenja za unaprjeđenje sustava korisničke podrške, poslovanja i komunikacije s korisnicima.This thesis explores the implementation of the Omnichannel communication concept within the framework of electronic commerce, with a special emphasis on the example of the company VELUX. The Omnichannel approach involves providing support to customers related to products and services through various channels, platforms, and devices. The thesis analyzes VELUX's customer-focused strategy and plans for adopting Omnichannel by 2030. The Omnichannel project includes the development of a more advanced contact center and the integration of various communication channels (digital, communication channels, face-to-face communication, and written communication). It also explores Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology to facilitate user identification and storage. Through the analysis of previous research, the thesis confirms the importance of innovation for business success and adaptation to the digital revolution. Relevant literature such as Cordon, Garcia-Milà, Ferreiro Vilarino, Caballero, and Cao, which deal with various aspects of Omnichannel and its evolution, is presented. The expected research results include an analysis of new system components after the implementation of Omnichannel, as well as proposed solutions for improving customer support, business operations, and customer communication
Open Data as a Basis for the Development of a Cooperative Concept in Urban Traffic System
Ovaj diplomski rad obrađuje tematiku otvorenih podataka kao temelj razvoja kooperativnog koncepta u gradskom prometnom sustavu. Opisuje se dosadašnji razvoj kooperativnih sustava, te se procjenjuje njihov daljnji razvoj. Također, opisuje se definicija i uloga otvorenih podataka te njihov razvoj u Hrvatskoj i u Europskoj uniji. Sukladno tome, nastojao se dobiti što kvalitetniji uvid u razne potencijalne koristi koje nude otvoreni podaci po pitanju razvoja kooperativnih sustava. U tu svrhu, provedeno je istraživanje kreiranjem anonimne ankete kojom je ispitana informiranost ispitanika na temu otvorenih podataka i kooperativnih sustava, gdje se nastojalo saznati koliko su ljudi uopće upoznati s tim pojmovima, koliko imaju koristi u svakodnevnom životu od usluga sustava temeljenih na kooperativnom konceptu, te što misle o potencijalnoj ulozi otvorenih podataka u samom doprinosu razvoju kooperativnog koncepta. U istraživanju su sudjelovala 132 ispitanika, od kojih većina živi na području Zagreba i okolice. Osnovni cilj je bio prikazati značaj otvorenih podataka na razvoj kooperativnog koncepta kroz teorijski dio istraživanja te kroz provedeno ispitivanje anonimnih korisnika.This graduate thesis deals with the topic of open data as a basis for the development of a cooperative concept in the city's transport system. The development of cooperative systems so far is described, and their further development is assessed. Also, the definition and role of open data are described and its development in Croatia and the European Union. Accordingly, an effort was made to gain a qualitative insight into the various potential benefits offered by open data regarding the development of cooperative systems. For this purpose, a research was conducted by creating an anonymous survey which examined the information of respondents on the subject of open data and cooperative systems, where an effort was made to find out how familiar people are with these concepts, how much they benefit in their everyday life from the services of systems based on the cooperative concept, and what they think about the potential role of open data in contributing to the development of the cooperative concept. In the research, 132 respondents participated, most of whom live in Zagreb and its surroundings. The main goal was to show the importance of open data on the development of the cooperative concept through the theoretical part of the research and through the conducted survey of anonymous users
Innovative Autonomous Drone Control Systems
Napretkom tehnologije mobilnih mreža, pogotovo dolaskom mobilnih mreža pete generacije postaje moguće prenijeti dostatnu količinu informacija s malom latencijom. U istom trenu tehnologija bespilotnih letjelica također napreduje te trenutno omogućuje bogatu senzorsku opremu, stabilne letne karakteristike ali i sve dulje vrijeme leta. Jedan od najvećih nedostataka bespilotnih letjelica danas jest domet koji je limitiran vrstom daljinskog upravljača. Ovim diplomskim radom istražuju se inovativni načini autonomnog upravljanja bespilotnim letjelicama (primarno kvadkoptera), također rad pruža uvid u mogućnosti i limitacije mobilne mreže na visinama na kojima lete bespilotne letjelice, kao glavnog medija komunikacije između letjelice i upravljačkih sustava na zemlji. Rad objašnjava koncept sustava za upravljanje prometom mobilnih letjelica te koji su sve podsustavi potrebni kako bi se on realizirao i opisuju se autonomne procedure i način rada tog sustava te isto tako se pokriva slučaj kada letjelicom upravlja operater. Nadalje, rad pruža uvid u performanse mobilne mreže na visinama leta drona pomoću terenskih istraživanja koja su provedena u Finskoj. Na kraju rada su dani prijedlozi budućih implementacija autonomnih sustava upravljanja dronovima na konkretnim slučajevima uporabe.With the advance of mobile network technology, especially with the arrival of the fifth generation mobile networks it has become possible to transmit a substantial amount of data with little latency. At the same time unmanned aerial vehicle technology has also advanced and at the moment it allows for a rich sensor package, stable flight characteristics and longer flight time. One of the biggest drawbacks of drones today is the range which is limited due to the controller. This thesis researches innovative autonomous drone control systems, also the thesis provides an insight into the possibilities and limitations of the mobile network at which drones fly, as the main communications channel between the aircraft and ground control systems. The thesis researches the concept of the unmanned aerial vehicle traffic management system, all the subsystems necessary for its operation and the autonomous procedures and protocols of the system, also the case when the operator is flying the drone is also covered. Further, the thesis gives insights into the mobile network performance at altitudes at which drones fly with the help of field measurements which have been conducted in Finland. At the end of the thesis future proposals for the implementation of autonomous drone control systems have been given on specific use cases
Maintenance Programme for Airbus A320 Life - Extension
Kroz eksploataciju zrakoplova prati se njegovo održavanje, trošenje resursa, dokumentacija i korištenje kako bi se sigurnost održala na najvišoj mogućoj razina. Na zračnom prijevozniku je da izradi program održavanja koji će biti u skladu sa zrakoplovnim propisima i koji će pratiti zrakoplov kroz operativni vijek. Proizvođač zrakoplova Airbus, uz preporuku i podršku omogućio je svojim korisnicima dodatnu ekstenziju resursa u smislu broja sati leta i ciklusa zrakoplova. U ovom radu obrađen je odobreni program održavanja za Airbus A320 koji se nadovezuje na program ekstenzije resursa od proizvođača zrakoplova. Također, istraženo je kako izgleda postupak ekstenzije resursa i što je sve potrebno za uspješnu implementaciju istog. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da je program ekstenzije resursa vrlo opširan proces koji traži puno vremena i resursa. Pitanje isplativosti cijelog projekta ovisi o strateškim planovima zračnog prijevoznika.Through the exploitation of the aircraft, its maintenance, consumption of resources, documentation and use are monitored in order to maintain safety at the highest possible level. It is up to the airline to create a maintenance program that will comply with aviation regulations and that will follow the aircraft throughout its operational life. The aircraft manufacturer Airbus, with its recommendation and support, enabled its users to further extend their resources in terms of the number of flight hours and aircraft cycles. This work describes the approved maintenance program for the Airbus A320, which is connected on the resource extension program from the aircraft manufacturer. Also, it was investigated what the resource extension procedure looks like and what is needed for its successful implementation. The research results showed that the resource extension program is a very extensive process that requires a lot of time and resources. The question of the profitability of the entire project depends on the strategic plans of the airline
Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on Airport Terminal Conceptual Design
S obzirom na to da je utjecaj pandemije Covid-19 je ostavio primjetan trag na cjelokupnu granu zračnog prometa, brojna istraživanja prikazuju njezin utjecaj na poslovanje zračnih luka te nužnost uvođenja inovativnijih tehnologija. Uz provođenje mjera koje je provela Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija s ciljem sprječavanja koronavirusa, potrebno je uzeti u obzir nove zahtjeve i inovativne tehnologije za planiranje i razvoj putničkih terminala koje su nastale kao rezultat povećanja sigurnosti. Uslijed svih noviteta sa kojima se zračni promet susreo, došlo je do promjene konceptualnog razvoja zračnih luka i njihove infrastrukturne te operativne prilagodbe koja uključuje uvođenje inovativnih sustava identifikacije i predviđanje prostora za novonastale kontrolne provjere. Novonastala mjera održavanja razmaka između putnika i/ili osoblja postala je značajan izazov u segmentu održavanja adekvatne razine kvalitete usluge (engl. Level of Service). Usporedna analiza tehnologija na „Zračnoj luci Franjo Tuđman“ u Zagrebu, Međunarodnoj zračnoj luci Rim „Fiumicino“ i Međunarodnoj zračnoj luci Singapur „Changi“ pokazuje razlike i sličnosti između zračnih luka različitih razmjera koje su se pronašle u istoj situaciji, te utjecaj na planiranja putničkih terminala u budućnosti.Considering that the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has left a noticeable mark on the entire branch of air transport, numerous studies show the impact on airport operations and the necessity of introducing innovative technologies. In addition to the implementation of measures implemented by the World Health Organization with the aim of increasing the number of coronaviruses, it is necessary to take into account new requirements and innovative technologies for the planning and development of passenger terminals that arose as a result of increasing safety. As a result of all the novelties that air traffic has encountered, there has been a change in the conceptual development of airports and their infrastructural and operational adaptation, which include the introduction of innovative identification systems and the provision of space for newly created control checks. The new change in maintaining the distance between passengers and/or staff was a significant challenge in the segment of maintaining an adequate level of service (LoS). A comparative analysis of the application of technologies at the „Franjo Tuđman Airport" in Zagreb, Rome International Airport "Fiumicino" and Singapore International Airport "Changi" shows the differences and similarities between airports of different scales that found themselves in a same situation, and the impact on the planning of passenger terminals in the future
Impact of Traffic and Technical Elements on the Maximum Road Capacity of the D41 Road Section Dugo Selo-Sesvete
Suvremeni cestovni promet je nedvojbeno najrazvijeniji i najznačajniji vid kopnenog prometa. U relativno kratkom razdoblju poslije Drugog svjetskog rata izborio dominantnu poziciju u prometu onih dijelova svijeta u kojima je industrijski način proizvodnje najrazvijeniji. Danas se, cestovnim prometom prevozi najviše putnika u svijetu. Kako bi se cestovni promet što kvalitetnije odvijao potrebno je imati razvijenu mrežu. Mreža javnih cesta je jedna od najvažnijih stavki jedne države, ona utječe na gospodarsku razvijenost i povezanost. Kako bi mreža javnih cesta mogla odgovoriti na sve veću potražnju, potrebno u nju konstantno ulagati usavršavanjem, izgradnjom, rekonstruiranjem i održavanjem. Stvarno stanje dionice odnosno njezinu potražnju i buduće stanje možemo analizirati na temelju prometnog opterećenja, propusne moći i drugih parametara. Pravilnom primjenom prometno-tehničkih elemenata ceste pri izradi, rekonstrukciji, održavanju ceste pospješuje se sigurnost prometa, propusna moć dionica i djelomično ili potpuno zadovoljavaju zahtjevi prometne potražnje. Preduvjet za svako donošenja odluka u svrhu ostvarenja zadanih zahtjeva je dobra analiza postojećeg stanja.Modern road transport is undoubtedly the most developed and most important form of land transport. In a relatively short period after the Second World War, it won a dominant position in the traffic of those parts of the world where the industrial method of production is the most developed. Today, most passengers are transported by road in the world. In order for road traffic to be of the highest quality, it is necessary to have a developed network. The network of public roads is one of the most important items of a country, it affects economic development and connectivity. In order for the public road network to be able to respond to the ever- increasing demand, it is necessary to constantly invest in it through improvement, construction, reconstruction and maintenance. We can analyze the actual state of the stock, i.e. its demand and future state, based on traffic load, bandwidth and other parameters. The correct application of traffic-technical elements of the road during construction, reconstruction, and maintenance of the road improves traffic safety, the permeability of sections, and partially or completely meets the requirements of traffic demand. A prerequisite for any decision-making in order to achieve the given requirements is a good analysis of the current situation
