    Analysis and Improvement Proposals of Intersections in the Stenjevec District in the City of Zagreb

    Cilj izrade diplomskog rada je analizirati raskrižja na području gradske četvrti Stenjevec u gradu Zagrebu te odabrati istaknute primjere s uočenim nedostatcima odvijanja prometa. Definirana je zona obuhvata kao i karakteristike okolne prometne infrastrukture i same gradske četvrti. U radu su detaljno analizirane tri lokacije raskrižja na kojima su utvrđeni prometni problemi sigurnosti i stvaranja repova čekanja. Za analizirane lokacije prikupljeni su svi relevantni podatci koji su služili kao smjernica izradi prijedloga poboljšanja. Na temelju provedenih analiza i prikupljenih podataka izrađena su idejna rješenja s prijedlozima poboljšanja regulacije i optimizacije odvijanja prometnih tokova, kao i mjere za povećanje sigurnosti. Za svako predloženo rješenje izrađen je model u programskom alatu Vissim te je provedena simulacija i evaluacija podataka za postojeća stanja i idejna rješenja. Provedena je i prognoza odvijanja prometa u budućnosti sukladno očekivanoj prometnoj potražnji s prikazom komparacije dobivenih rezultata.The goal of this thesis is to analyze the intersections in the area of the Stenjevec district in the city of Zagreb and to select prominent examples with perceived shortcomings in traffic flow. The defined zone includes the characteristics of the surrounding transport infrastructure and the city district itself. The research analyzes in detail three locations of intersections where the traffic problems of safety and creation of queues were determined. All relevant data were collected for the analyzed locations, which served as guidelines for the development of improvement proposals. On the basis of the conducted analyzes and collected data, conceptual solutions were created with proposals for improving regulation and optimizing the development of traffic flows, as well as measures to increase safety. For each proposed solution, a model was created in the Vissim software tool, and simulation and data evaluation was carried out for existing conditions and conceptual solutions. A forecast of traffic in the future was also carried out in accordance with the expected traffic demand, with a comparison of the obtained results

    U ovom radu detaljno su opisani tehnološki proces rada i značaj kolodvora Ploče u organizaciji željezničkog prometa na pruzi M304 (DG-Metković-Ploče). Opisane su i analizirane sve vrste kolosijeka i sami načini manevriranja vlakova u kolodvoru. Navedeni su svi dolazeći i odlazeći vlakovi, te je analiziran kapacitet pruge i manevarskog osoblja.This paper provides a detailed description of the technological work process and the significance of the Ploče station in organizing railway traffic on the M304 line (DG-Metković-Ploče). It also describes and analyzes all types of tracks and the methods of train shunting at the station. All incoming and outgoing trains are listed, and the capacity of the railway line and shunting staff is analyzed

    Evaluation of Endpoint Cyber Protection Solutions for Businesses

    Unatoč napretku u razvoju sigurnosnih rješenja, kibernetičke prijetnje usmjerene na krajnje uređaje i dalje predstavljaju ozbiljan izazov za organizacije. Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se evaluacijom rješenja za zaštitu krajnjih uređaja, s naglaskom na sustave za detekciju i odgovor na prijetnje. Korištenjem MITRE ATT&CK okvira, simuliran je napad napredne ustrajne prijetnje grupe Turla, primjenom jedanaest različitih taktika. Provedene simulacije omogućile su procjenu učinkovitosti sigurnosnih sustava u detekciji i odgovoru na sofisticirane napade. Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju na snage i slabosti postojećih sigurnosnih sustava te naglašavaju potrebu za njihovim kontinuiranim razvojem. Zaključci rada ističu važnost integracije naprednih metoda analize ponašanja i strojnog učenja u sustave za kibernetičku sigurnost.Despite advancements in security solutions, cyber threats targeting endpoints continue to pose a significant challenge for organizations. This thesis focuses on the evaluation of endpoint protection solutions, with an emphasis on Endpoint Detection and Response systems. Using the MITRE ATT&CK framework, an attack by the Advanced Persistent Threat group Turla was simulated, utilizing twelve different tactics. The simulations provided insights into the effectiveness of security systems in detecting and responding to sophisticated attacks. The results highlight the strengths and weaknesses of current security solutions and underscore the need for their continuous development. The conclusions emphasize the importance of integrating advanced behavioural analysis methods and machine learning into cybersecurity systems

    Analysis of Level Crossing Solutions Between Lupoglav and Pazin

    Ovaj rad analizira i opisuje postojeće stanje promatranih željezničko-cestovnih prijelaza (ŽCP) te nudi moguća rješenja i poboljšanja za podizanje razine sigurnosti. U radu je detaljno definirana i opisana zakonska regulativa vezana uz ŽCP-e na području Republike Hrvatske, kao i trenutno stanje sigurnosti na tim prijelazima, temeljeno na javno dostupnim dokumentima. U fokusu istraživanja je bilo 15 željezničko-cestovnih prijelaza na dionici pruge DG – Buzet – Pula (R101) između Lupoglava i Pazina. Terenskim istraživanjem ispitani su načini osiguranja svakog od promatranih ŽCP-a. Nakon analize uočenih nedostataka i propusta, predložene su konkretne mjere koje bi mogle poboljšati trenutnu situaciju i podići razinu sigurnosti na navedenim prijelazima. Ove mjere su osmišljene kako bi se učinkovito adresirali specifični problemi na svakom ŽCP-u, s ciljem smanjenja rizika od nesreća i osiguravanja sigurnijeg prometa kako za vozače cestovnih vozila tako i za putnike u vlakovima.This paper presents an analysis of the current state of the examined level crossings and proposes potential solutions and measures for their improvement. Additionally, it provides an overview and description of the legal regulations governing level crossings in the Republic of Croatia, as well as the current safety situation concerning these crossings. Field research was conducted on 15 level crossings along the R101 railway line between Lupoglav and Pazin to assess the current safety conditions and the types of protection systems in place at these crossings. Based on the findings, the paper suggests improvement measures aimed at enhancing safety at the analyzed level crossings

    The impact of driver age on their visual perception of the environment

    Vizualna percepcija počinje ulaskom svjetla u naše oči i pretvorbom u električne impulse, koji se prenose do mozga gdje se obrađuju. Niz čimbenika utječe na vizualnu percepciju vozača kao što su starost, vozačko iskustvo, spol vozača itd. Starost značajno utječe na vizualnu percepciju s obzirom na to da se prilikom starenja narušava kvaliteta vizualnog sustava te se smanjuju psihofizičke osobine. Cilj ovog rada je istražiti na koji način starost utječe na vizualno uočavanje okoline tijekom vožnje. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 20 dobrovoljaca od kojih je 10 bilo mladih, a 10 starih vozača koji su odvozili zadanu rutu na simulatoru vožnje. Sudionici istraživanja nosili su naočale za praćenje pogleda (Tobii Pro Glasses 2) kako bi se utvrdili uzorci i razlike između vizualnog uočavanje okoline između mladih i starijih vozača. Rezultati podataka su pokazali kako su mlađi vozači više usmjeravali svoj pogled na prometne znakove, a manje na reklame.Visual perception begins with light entering our eyes and converting it into electrical impulses, which are transmitted to the brain where they are processed. A number of factors affect the driver's visual perception, such as age, driving experience, driver's gender, etc. Age significantly affects visual perception, given that the quality of the visual system deteriorates during aging and psychophysical properties decrease. The aim of this work is to investigate how age affects the visual perception of the environment while driving. 20 volunteers took part in the research, 10 of whom were young, and 10 were old drivers who drove a given route on a driving simulator. Research participants wore eye-tracking glasses (Tobii Pro Glasses 2) to determine patterns and differences in visual perception of the environment between young and older drivers. The results of the data showed that younger drivers focused more on traffic signs and less on advertisements

    Logistički procesi obuhvaćaju različite aktivnosti poput upravljanja zalihama i opskrbnim lancem, planiranjem transporta i distribucije, implementaciju tehnologija za bolje upravljanje skladištem i transportom, nadzor nad ljudskim resursima i slično. S obzirom na količinu elemenata obuhvaćenih logističkim procesima, planiranje istih opsežan je i kompleksan posao stoga nije moguće primijeniti jedinstvenu metodu planiranja logističkih procesa u svim situacijama i poduzećima. U radu su prikazane različite metode planiranja logističkih procesa koje za cilj imaju optimizaciju troškova, vremena i kapaciteta, kao i primjeri dobre prakse.Logistics processes encompass various activities such as inventory and supply chain management, transport and distribution planning, implementation of technologies for better warehouse and transport management, supervision of human resources, and more. Given the number of elements involved in logistics processes, planning them is a comprehensive and complex task, making it impossible to apply a single method for logistics processes planning in all situations and companies. This paper presents different methods for logistics planning with a goal of optimizing costs, time, and capacity, along with examples of best practices

    Metode zaštitnog pregleda putnika, prtljage i tereta definirane su regulativama, zakonima, normama. Cilj tih metoda je osigurati zaštitu svih sudionika zračnog prometa i trećih osoba. Svi putnici, osoblje i osobe koje nisu putnici podložni su zaštitnom pregledu ako žele stupiti u zaštitno ograničeno područje zračne luke. Prtljaga čija je osnovna podjela na ručnu i predanu isto tako podliježe zaštitnom pregledu koristeći razne inovativne metode. Kako bi se ostvarila očekivana zaštita u zračnom prometu postoje zabranjeni predmeti koji se ne smiju prevoziti u putničkoj kabini ili u teretnim prostorima zrakoplova. Proces prihvata i otpreme tereta dijeli se na fizički i dokumentarni dio, gdje je zaštitni pregled fizički dio. Zaštitni pregled tereta provodi se u terminalima.Methods of security screening for passengers, baggage, and cargo are defined by regulations, laws, and standards. The goal of these methods is to ensure the security of all participants in air traffic and third parties. All passengers, staff, and non-passengers are subject to security screening if they wish to enter a restricted area of an airport. Baggage, which is primarily divided into hand baggage and checked baggage, is also subject to security screening using various innovative methods. To achieve the expected level of security in air traffic, there are prohibited items that cannot be carried in the passenger cabin or cargo holds of an aircraft. The process of accepting and dispatching cargo is divided into physical and documentary, with security screening being the physical part.     Održavanje voznog parka ključno je za poslovanje tvrtke Straga Trans d.o.o., koja pruža usluge prijevoza tereta u domaćem i međunarodnom prometu. Učinkovita organizacija održavanja osigurava dugovječnost vozila, smanjuje troškove i povećava pouzdanost usluga. U prvom dijelu rada opisana je teorijska osnova održavanja voznog parka, nakon toga se opisuje vozni park tvrtke te način održavanja voznog parka uključujući i upravljanje zalihama rezervnih dijelova. Nakon analize postojećeg sustava održavanja u tvrtki, identificiraju se problemi te se predlažu poboljšanja s kojima se može postići značajne uštede u troškovima održavanja, povećati raspoloživost vozila te osigurati viši nivo usluge za svoje klijente.Fleet maintenance is crucial for the operations of Straga Trans d.o.o., a company that provides cargo transportation services in domestic and international traffic. Efficient maintenance organization ensures vehicle longevity, reduces costs, and increases service reliability. The first part of the paper describes the theoretical foundation of fleet maintenance, followed by a description of the company’s fleet and the methods of its maintenance, including inventory management of spare parts. After analyzing the existing maintenance system in the company, problems are identified, and improvements are proposed that could result in significant maintenance cost savings, increased vehicle availability, and a higher level of service for its clients

    Lučki kontejnerski terminali predstavljaju čvorišta u opskrbnom lancu, odnosno mjesta gdje se susreću različiti modovi prometa. O produktivnosti kontejnerskog terminala ovisi brzina prijevoza kontejnera do njihovih krajnjih odredišta. Za funkcioniranje lučkih kontejnerskih terminala zaduženi su djelatnici koji upravljaju prekrcajnom mehanizacijom i drugim sustavima na terminalu. Sposobnost djelatnika za obavljanje posla ovisi o njegovoj edukaciji i treningu. Rad na lučkom kontejnerskom terminalu vrlo je opasan i zahtjeva znanje, točnost, preciznost i međusobnu koordinaciju djelatnika. Edukacija djelatnika provodi se s pomoću simulacijskih alata na temelju virtualne stvarnosti (Virtual Reality - VR). Simulacijskim alatima se djelatnici osposobljavaju za rad na svim dizalicama, prijenosnicima i drugoj prekrcajnoj mehanizaciji na terminalu u različitim vremenskim uvjetima. Svrha ovog rada je opisati ulogu djelatnika na lučkim kontejnerskim terminalima, važnost i načini njihove edukacije. Cilj pisanja ovog rada je analizirati načine edukacije djelatnika i utvrditi važnost primjene VR tehnologije u usavršavanju djelatnika na lučkim kontejnerskim terminalima.Port container terminals are hubs in the supply chain, they are places where different modes of traffic meet. The speed of transporting containers to their final destinations depends on the productivity of the container terminal. The employees who manage transshipment machinery and other systems at the terminal are responsible for the functioning of port container terminals. The employee's job performance depends on his education and training. Work at the port container terminal is very dangerous and requires knowledge, accuracy, precision, and mutual coordination of employees. Employee training is carried out using simulation tools based on virtual reality (Virtual Reality - VR). Simulation tools are used to train employees to work on all cranes, conveyors, and other handling machinery at the terminal in different weather conditions. The purpose of this paper is to describe the role of workers at port container terminals, the importance and methods of their education. The goal of writing this paper is to analyze the methods of employee education and determine the importance of applying VR technology in the training of employees at port container terminals

    The impact of monitoring driver behaviour through telematics devices on road traffic safety

    Telematički uređaji igraju ključnu ulogu u modernoj komunikaciji i praćenju podataka, posebno u kontekstu transporta i transportne logistike. U zadnjih nekoliko godina rastući je trend praćenja vozila telematičkim uređajima, te analize ponašanja vozača u svrhu poboljšanja vještina i stila vožnje što postaje jedan od aktivnih čimbenika sigurnosti u cestovnom prometu. Različiti telematički uređaji prema tehničkim osobinama, vrstama i načinima snimanja podatka omogućuju praćenje i nadzor ne samo vozača i vozila već i aktivnu dijagnostiku i održavanje čime se smanjuje rizik od nepredvidivih kvarova. Transportne kompanije mogu koristiti telematičke uređaje za efikasno upravljanje flotom vozila, što uključuje planiranje održavanja, analizu vozača i optimizaciju troškova. Smanjenjem potrošnje goriva i optimizacijom ruta, telematika može doprinijeti smanjenju emisija štetnih plinova. Telematika ima značajan utjecaj na ponašanje vozača, pružajući alate i metode za praćenje, analizu i poboljšanje vozačkih navika jer može prikupljati podatke o brzini, ubrzanju, kočenju i skretanju, što pomaže u identifikaciji rizičnih obrazaca vožnje. Ovi podaci omogućavaju vozačima da prepoznaju svoje slabosti i rade na njihovom poboljšanju, a dobrom motivacijom vozača moguće je potaknuti vozače na sigurniju i oprezniju vožnju kako bi se smanjila mogućnost nastanka prometnih nesreća.Telematics devices play a key role in modern communication and data tracking, especially in the context of transport and transport logistics. In the last few years, there has been a growing trend of monitoring vehicles with telematics devices, and analyzing driver behavior in order to improve driving skills and style, which is becoming one of the active factors of road safety. Various telematics devices according to technical characteristics, types and methods of data recording enable monitoring and supervision not only of drivers and vehicles, but also active diagnostics and maintenance, which reduces the risk of unpredictable breakdowns. Transport companies can use telematics devices for efficient fleet management, which includes maintenance planning, driver analysis and cost optimization. By reducing fuel consumption and optimizing routes, telematics can contribute to reducing harmful gas emissions. Telematics has a significant impact on driver behavior, providing tools and methods to monitor, analyze and improve driving habits as it can collect data on speed, acceleration, braking and turning, which helps identify risky driving patterns. This data allows drivers to recognize their weaknesses and work on their improvement, and with good driver motivation it is possible to encourage drivers to drive safer and more cautiously in order to reduce the possibility of traffic accidents.
