    Analysis of Operating Limitations for a Performance Class A Airplane

    U zrakoplovstvu je naglasak na sigurnosti, te se zbog brojnih avionskih nesreća pokazalo potrebitim propisati i definirati operativna ograničenja. Operativna ograničenja su limiti definirani od strane proizvođača zrakoplova koji će osigurati sigurne letačke operacije zrakoplovom. Ona su propisana od strane proizvođača i nadležnih vlasti, te je nužno pridržavati ih se tijekom svih režima leta. Pri proizvodnji zrakoplova testiranjem čvrstoće njegove konstrukcije i performansi u letu prikupljaju se operativna ograničenja koja je nužno ispisati u pilotske priručnike. Europska agencija za sigurnost zračnog prometa (EASA, European Aviation Safety Agency) određuje regulativu koja propisuje operativna ograničenja. Nadležne zrakoplovne vlasti pojedine države dužne su pratiti primjenu regulative. Na performanse zrakoplova, pa tako i operativna ograničenja, utječu vanjski čimbenici poput različitih atmosferskih stanja i dostupnih duljina uzletno-sletnih staza pri zaletu, polijetanju i slijetanju zrakoplova. Ovaj rad analizira operativna ograničenja masa i brzina.In aviation, the emphasis is on safety, and due to numerous aircraft accidents, it has become necessary to determine and define operational limitations. Operational limitations are limits defined by aircraft manufactures that will ensure safe flight operations. They are prescribed by manufacturer and competent authorities, and it is necessary to adhere to them during all flight regimes. During the production of an aircraft, by testing the strength of its construction and performance in flight, operational limitations are collected, which must be printed in the pilot’s manuals. European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) determines the regulation that prescribes operational requirements. The competent aviation authorities of individual countries are obliged to monitor the application of the regulation. Aircraft performance, including operational limitations, are affected by external factors such as different atmospheric conditions and available distances of runway during take-off run, take-off and landing.     Ovaj rad govori o važnosti obuke pilota helikoptera pri osposobljavanju za vršenje manevra vrtložnog prstena. Navedeni su detaljni opisi što se zapravo događa sa samom letjelicom pri formiranju iste i kako uspostaviti ponovnu kontrolu. Izvršeno je testiranje metoda vađenja iz preduvjeta pri različitim brzinama uvođenja koje su zabilježene GoPro kamerom tijekom testnog leta, koje je detaljno opisano u radu. Također su spomenute i nesreće koje su nastale posljednjih godina upravo zbog nedovoljno poznavanja ovog fenomena te kako će i u kojim situacijama utjecati na helikopter.This thesis describes the importance of helicopter vortex ring state formation and recovery training. There are detailed descriptions of what actually happens to the aircraft during formation of the state and how to re-establish control. Testing of recovery methods from prerequisites was performed at different initial speeds, this was recorded using a GoPro camera. This test flight is described in detail in the thesis. Accidents that have occurred in recent years due to insufficient knowledge of this phenomenon, how and in which situations it will affect the helicopter were also analyzed

    Zrakoplovstvo je jedna od tehnološki najnaprednijih industrija, što se očituje u značajnom interesu za primjenom umjetne inteligencije u zrakoplovnoj industriji. Usvajanje i primjena AI tehnologije doprinosi poboljšanju učinkovitosti, sigurnosti i konkurentnosti, te su mnoge zrakoplovne organizacije već implementirale razna rješenja umjetne inteligencije za unaprjeđenje i transformaciju svojeg poslovanja i rješavanje izazova. U radu je opisan regulatorni okvir upravljanja sigurnošću u zrakoplovstvu, s detaljnijim opisom sustava upravljanja sigurnošću u zrakoplovstvu. Objašnjena je uloga umjetne inteligencije u zrakoplovstvu, te su analizirani i navedeni primjeri sustava i programskih alata s umjetnom inteligencijom koji se primjenjuju u segmentu upravljanja sigurnosnim rizicima u zrakoplovstvu. Također je naveden i pregled budućih planova primjene umjetne inteligencije u upravljanju sigurnosnim rizicima u zrakoplovstvu.Aviation is one of the most technologically advanced industries, which is reflected in the significant interest in the application of artificial intelligence in the aviation industry. The adoption and application of AI technology contributes to improving efficiency, safety and competitiveness, and many aviation organizations have already implemented various artificial intelligence solutions to improve and transform their business and solve challenges. The thesis outlines the regulatory framework of aviation safety management, with a detailed description of aviation safety management system. The role of artificial intelligence in aviation is explained, and examples of systems and software tools with artificial intelligence applied in the segment of aviation safety risk management are analyzed and presented. The review of the future plans for the application of artificial intelligence in aviation safety risk management is also provided

    Kako se broj stanovnika povećava, a cestovni promet ostaje najrazvijeniji segment prometnog sustava, gradovi sve više usvajaju obnovljive izvore energije kako bi zamijenili fosilna goriva i smanjili emisije. Obnovljiva energija igra ključnu ulogu u borbi protiv klimatskih promjena, a tehnologije poput solarne i vjetroenergije, biomase i hibridnih sustava postaju sve značajnije. Napredak u tehnologiji i strukturne promjene omogućuju energetske uštede u prometu, što može doprinijeti smanjenju emisija, poboljšanju energetske sigurnosti i smanjenju lokalnog zagađenja. Cestovni promet, koji ima ključnu ulogu u globalnoj ekonomiji, jedan je od najvećih izvora stakleničkih plinova i potrošnje fosilnih goriva. S obzirom na klimatske promjene i potrebu za održivim rješenjima, budućnost prometa sve više teži čišćim i učinkovitijim alternativama, kao što su elektrifikacija vozila, vodik, biogoriva i pametne tehnologije. Ove inovacije su ključne za tranziciju prema održivom prometnom sustavu, koji će smanjiti ovisnost o fosilnim gorivima i doprinijeti globalnom cilju dekarbonizacije.As the population increases and road transport remains the most developed segment of the transport system, cities are increasingly adopting renewable energy sources to replace fossil fuels and reduce emissions. Renewable energy plays a key role in the fight against climate change, and technologies such as solar and wind energy, biomass and hybrid systems are becoming increasingly important. Advances in technology and structural changes enable energy savings in traffic, which can contribute to reducing emissions, improving energy security and reducing local pollution. Road transport, which plays a key role in the global economy, is one of the largest sources of greenhouse gases and fossil fuel consumption. In view of climate change and the need for sustainable solutions, the future of transport increasingly tends towards cleaner and more efficient alternatives, such as vehicle electrification, hydrogen, biofuels and smart technologies. These innovations are crucial for the transition towards a sustainable transport system, which will reduce dependence on fossil fuels and contribute to the global goal of decarbonisation

    U ovom diplomskom radu bit će prikazani osnovni podatci o avionu Pilatus PC9-M koji se koristi u Hrvatskom ratnom zrakoplovstvu za potrebe školovanja kadeta-budućih pilota te za potrebe traganja i spašavanja u sklopu obalne straže. Nadalje, prikazati će se podatci o potrošnji goriva, istrajnosti leta te doletu aviona iščitani iz grafikona kojeg je osigurao proizvođač. Te vrijednosti biti će uspoređene sa stvarnim podatcima dobivenih tijekom leta avionom te je provedba leta osigurana od strane HRZ-a. Dobiveni parametri bit će korišteni pri planiranju leta za zadaće traganja i spašavanja.This thesis will present basic information about the Pilatus PC9-M aircraft used in the Croatian Air Force for training of cadets-future pilots and for search and rescue purposes within the Coast Guard. Furthermore, the data on fuel consumption, flight endurance and the range of the plane read from the diagram provided by the manufacturer will be displayed. These values will be compared with the actual data obtained during the flight and the flight was insured by CAF. The obtained parameters will be used in flight planning for search and rescue tasks

    Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se razvojem sveobuhvatnog sustava koji bi omogućio praćenje i evaluaciju kvalitete usluga u željezničkom prijevozu robe. Cilj rada je identificirati ključne pokazatelje performansi koji bi pomogli u povećanju učinkovitosti i konkurentnosti željezničkih prijevoznika na tržištu. U radu se analizira trenutni sustav pokazatelja kvalitete usluge, utjecaj liberalizacije na željezničko tržište prijevoza robe i metode mjerenja kvalitete usluge u željezničkom sektoru. Naglasak je na optimizaciju kvalitete usluge, zadovoljstvo korisnika i operativnu efikasnost. Također, u analizi su navedeni ključni pokazatelji kvalitete prijevoza kao što su točnost, brzina isporuke, pouzdanost usluge, sigurnost prijevoza i fleksibilnost. Kroz navedene pokazatelje, sustav omogućava kontinuirano praćenje i poboljšanje ključnih elemenata poslovanja, što doprinosi većem zadovoljstvu korisnika i višoj razini usluge.This thesis deals with the development of a comprehensive system that would enable the monitoring and evaluation of service quality in rail freight transport. The aim of the thesis is to identify key performance indicators that would help increase the efficiency and competitiveness of railway freight carriers in the market. The paper analyzes the current quality service indicator system, the impact of liberalization on the rail freight market and methods for measuring service quality in the railway sector. Emphasis is placed on optimizing service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The analysis also highlights key quality indicators such as punctuality, delivery speed, service reliability, transport safety, and flexibility. Through these indicators, the system enables continuous monitoring and improvement of key business elements, contributing to greater customer satisfaction and a higher level of service

Ovaj rad nudi sustavni pregled i analizu operacija skladištenja inozemne tvrtke, predlažući inovacije za poboljšanje postojećeg stanja te omogućavanje optimalne učinkovitosti. Uvođenje suvremenih informacijskih tehnologija i poslovne inteligencije postaje imperativ za održavanje konkurentnosti i efikasnosti skladišnog sustava. Ovaj pristup, koji uključuje primjenu BI alata poput Excela i SQL-a, razvijen je do razine koja omogućava praktičnu implementaciju u analiziranom sustavu. Analiza također osvjetljava dodatne mogućnosti za poboljšanje procesa, čime se podupire učinkovitost i optimalnost skladišnog sustava.In order to maintain competitiveness, it is essential to continuously seek better and more efficient solutions for improving logistics operations. Logistics represents a key area for enhancing performance through the optimization of warehouse processes, facilitating seamless functionality. Therefore, this paper offers a systematic review and analysis of the warehousing operations of a foreign company, proposing innovations to improve the current state and enable optimal efficiency. The introduction of modern information technologies and business intelligence has become imperative for maintaining the competitiveness and efficiency of the warehouse system. This approach, which includes the use of BI tools such as Excel and SQL, has been developed to a level that allows practical implementation in the analyzed system. The analysis also highlights additional opportunities for process improvement, thereby supporting the efficiency and optimality of the warehouse system

    Distrakcija vozača obuhvaća sve aktivnosti ili događaje koji odvraćaju pažnju vozača tijekom vožnje te jedan od rastućih problema u području sigurnosti cestovnog prometa. Raznovrsni elementi unutar i izvan vozila poput događaja, objekata, uređaja ili osoba mogu odvući vozačevu pažnju, smanjiti koncentraciju i posljedično ugroziti sigurnost u prometu. Najčešće i najopasnije distrakcije tijekom vožnje uključuju korištenje mobilnog telefona, razne uređaje u vozilu poput navigacijskih sustava ili radija, razgovore s putnicima u vozilu, kao i reklamne panoe uz cestu. Reklamni sadržaji uz cestu su dizajnirani tako da privlače pažnju sudionika u prometu, te zbog toga prvenstveno izazivaju vizualne distrakcije. Cilj ovog rada je istražiti na koji način različiti reklamni sadržaji uz ceste mogu utjecati na ponašanje vozača, a samim time i na ukupnu sigurnost cestovnog prometa.Driver distraction includes all activities or events that divert the driver's attention while driving and is one of the growing problems in the field of road traffic safety. Various elements inside and outside the vehicle such as events, objects, devices or people can distract the driver's attention, reduce concentration and consequently endanger traffic safety. The most common and dangerous distractions while driving include the use of a mobile phone, various devices in the vehicle such as navigation systems or radios, conversations with passengers in the vehicle, as well as billboards on the side of the road. Roadside advertising is designed to attract the attention of road users, and therefore primarily causes visual distractions. The aim of this paper is to investigate how different roadside advertising content can influence driver behavior and thus the overall safety of road traffic

Istraživanjem se nastoji otkriti ključne faktore koji utječu na sigurnost pješaka s ciljem predlaganja mjera za smanjenje broja nesreća. Osnovni problem koji se istražuje jest nedovoljna kvaliteta prometne signalizacije i opreme na pješačkim prijelazima, što može značajno povećati rizik od naleta vozila na pješake. U istraživanju su korištene metode analize prometnih nesreća te analiza postojećih podataka o kvaliteti prometne signalizacije i opreme. Predmet istraživanja obuhvaća prometne nesreće naleta na pješake na državnim cestama, s posebnim naglaskom na pješačke prijelaze i njihovu opremljenost prometnom signalizacijom i opremom.The goal of this thesis is to examine the correlation between the quality of traffic signaling and equipment at pedestrian crossings and the frequency and severity of pedestrian accidents. The research seeks to identify key factors that influence pedestrian safety to propose measures to reduce the number of accidents. The primary issue being investigated is the inadequate quality of traffic signaling and equipment at pedestrian crossings, which can significantly increase the risk of pedestrian-vehicle collisions. The research methods used include the analysis of traffic accidents and the examination of existing data on the quality of traffic signaling and equipment. The subject of the study encompasses pedestrian-vehicle collisions on national roads, with a particular focus on pedestrian crossings and their equipment with traffic signaling and equipment
