    Analysis of alternative fuels by type of transportation

    Smanjenje emisija štetnih plinova jedan je od glavnih ciljeva u sektoru transporta. Ono je ključno kada su u pitanju klimatske promjene i poboljšanje kvalitete zraka. Transport je jedan od najvećih izvora emisija stakleničkih plinova, posebno ugljikovog dioksida, koji doprinosi globalnom zatopljenju. S ciljem smanjenja emisija štetnih plinova, dolazi do razvitka različitih oblika alternativnih goriva, poput struje i vodika. Struja i vodik kao alternativna goriva koriste se zbog svoje nezavisnosti od fosilnih goriva, efikasnosti, te mogućnosti korištenja iz obnovljivih izvora energije. Potražnja za električnim automobilima sve je veća, dok se automobili na vodik kao pogonsko gorivo još razvijaju. Primjena struje u različitim vrstama transporta razvijenija je od primjene vodika, zbog njegovih nedostataka poput skladištenja i transporta. Analizirane su tehničke, ekonomske i ekološke prednosti i nedostatci vodika i struje kao pogonskih goriva u različitim vrstama prijevoza, uključujući gradski, pomorski i javni gradski prijevoz.Reducing emissions of harmful gases is one of the main goals in the transport sector. It is crucial when it comes to climate change and improving air quality. Transport is one of the biggest sources of greenhouse gas emissions, especially carbon dioxide, which contributes to global warming. With the aim of reducing harmful gas emissions, different forms of alternative fuels, such as electricity and hydrogen, are being developed. Electricity and hydrogen are used as alternative fuels because of their independence from fossil fuels, efficiency, and the possibility of using renewable energy sources. The demand for electric cars is increasing, while hydrogen cars as a fuel are still developing. The application of electricity in different types of transport is more developed than that of hydrogen, due to its disadvantages such as storage and transport. An analysis of the technical, economic and environmental advantages and disadvantages of hydrogen and electricity as fuels in different modes of transport, including urban, maritime and public urban transport has been carried out

    Integrirano svjetsko gospodarsko i logističko tržište počiva na učinkovitom protoku roba, ljudi, informacija ,energije, i kapitala. Sinonim navedene integriranosti su i globalni lanci opskrbe, kao jedna od osnovnih metafora globaliziranog i liberaliziranog svjetskog tržišta. Srž međunarodne trgovine je protok robe kroz lanac opskrbe koji spaja izvore sirovina, proizvodnju i distribuciju do krajnjeg korisnika. U takvim globalnim lancima opskrbe, intermodalni prijevozni sustavi omogućuju fleksibilnu prilagodbu dionika opskrbnog lanca zahtjevima po pitanjima troškovne učinkovitosti, očuvanja životnog okoliša i održivog društvenog razvoja u cijelosti. Informacijski sustavi dio su svakog ciljno orijentiranog sustava kao što su intermodalni sustavi u transportu robe i u samoj logistici. U današnje vrijeme nužna je upotreba informacijsko komunikacijskih sustava kako bi uspješno izvršili određene zahtjeve i ideje koje imamo i koje se svaki dan mijenjaju. Svake godine dolaze velike promjene u razvoju informacijskih sustava kako tehnologija napreduje, stoga je potrebno prilagođavat se i iskoristit nove sustave ne samo u transportu i logistici već u obavljanju svakodnevnih zadataka.At an integrated world economic and logistics market that relies on the efficient flow of goods, people, energy, resources and capital. Global supply chains are synonyms of the integration, as one of the basic metaphors of the globalized and liberalized world market. The core of international trade is the flow of goods through a supply chain that connects the sources of raw materials, production and distribution to the end user. In such global supply chains, intermodal transport systems enable flexible adaptation of supply chain stakeholders to requirements in terms of cost efficiency, environmental preservation and sustainable social development as a whole. Information systems are part of every goal-oriented system, such as intermodal systems in transport goods and in logistics itself. Nowadays, it is unthinkable to use information and communication systems in order to successfully implement certain requests and ideas that we have and that change every day. Every year there are big changes in the development of information systems as technology advances, therefore it is necessary to adapt and use new systems not only in transport and logistics but in the performance of everyday tasks

    Ovaj rad analizira transportni sustav kapilarne distribucije bezalkoholnih pića, s fokusom na organizaciju, prednosti i izazove ovog procesa. Efikasno planiranje ruta i korištenje modernih tehnologija, poput GPS-a, ključni su za optimizaciju kapilarne distribucije, no izazovi poput troškova, složenosti upravljanja i nedostatka vozača također su prisutni. U radu su dani prijedlozi za poboljšanje postojećeg sustava distribucije, uključujući unajmljivanje skladišnog prostora na otocima i stvaranje vlastitog voznog parka kako bi se smanjili troškovi transporta. Ovakvim promjenama očekuje se povećanje efikasnosti i smanjenje ukupnih troškova dok se osigurava brza i točna isporuka proizvoda kupcima.This paper analyzes the transport system of last mile distribution of soft drinks, focusing on the organization, advantages and challenges of this process. Efficient route planning and the use of modern technologies, such as GPS, are key to optimizing last distribution, but challenges such as costs, management complexity and a lack of drivers are also present. This paper makes suggestions for improving the existing distribution system, including renting warehouse space on the islands and creating its own fleet to reduce transportation costs. Such changes are expected to increase efficiency and reduce total costs while ensuring fast and accurate delivery of products to customers

    Rad se bavi objašnjenjem ključnih tehnologija koje čine osnovu modernih telekomunikacijskih mreža. Analizira se međuovisnost između 4G i 5G mreža kao i potreba za IMS sustavom koji se proteže kroz više generacija mobilnih tehnologija. U radu su detaljno objašnjeni pojmovi kao što su 4G mreže, IMS, virtualizacija te 5G mreže, a fokus je stavljen na njihov međusobni odnos i funkcionalnosti u kontekstu implementacije 5G tehnologije. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na interoperabilnost između 4G i 5G mreža, kako bi se omogućila nesmetana tranzicija korisnika i usluga iz starijih u novije mreže, te kako bi se omogućilo istovremeno funkcioniranje obje mreže u prijelaznom razdoblju. Zaključuje se da će 5G mreža, uz podršku IMS-a i virtualizacije, donijeti poboljšanja u brzini, vremenu kašnjenja i kapacitetu mreže, omogućujući tako nove usluge i aplikacije koje su ključne za razvoj industrije i društva.The paper focuses on explaining the key technologies that form the foundation of modern telecommunication networks. It analyzes the interdependence between 4G and 5G networks as well as the need for the IMS system, which spans multiple generations of mobile technologies. The paper provides a detailed explanation of concepts such as 4G networks, IMS, virtualization, and 5G networks, with an emphasis on their interrelation and functionalities in the context of 5G technology implementation. Special emphasis is placed on the interoperability between 4G and 5G networks to ensure seamless transitions for users and services from older to newer networks, as well as to enable the simultaneous operation of both networks during the transition period. It concludes that the 5G network, supported by IMS and virtualization, will bring improvements in speed, latency, and network capacity, thus enabling new services and applications that are crucial for the development of industry and society

    Razvoj bežičnih tehnologija, kao i mreže, dovodi do stalnih promjena u već postojećim tehnologijama. Također se otkrivaju nove mogućnosti koje neka tehnologija nosi sa sobom. Tako se i bežične komunikacijske tehnologije, kratkog i dugog dometa, implementiraju kroz koncept Interneta stvari. Završnim radom prikazano je koje su to bežične komunikacijske tehnologije kratkog i dugog dometa, na koji način funkcioniraju te kroz koje načine se implementiraju u koncept Interneta stvari. Također je prikazano kako poboljšanja i nove tehnologije, poput 5G mreže, utječu na već postojeće koncepte te koji su glavni izazovi kada su u pitanju bežične komunikacijske tehnologije u konceptu Interneta stvari.The development of wireless technologies, as well as networks, results in constant changes in already existing technologies. There is also a presence of the discovery of new possibilities which a certain technology brings. Through the concept of Internet of Things, in this way, wireless communication technologies, both of short and long range, are also being implemented in this final thesis. It is explained what exactly are the wireless communication technologies of short and long range, as well as in what ways they function along with explanation of the ways through which they are implemented in the concept of Internet of Things. What is also presented in this thesis is how improvements and new technologies, i. e. 5G network, affect already existing concepts. Finally, the main challenges regarding wireless communication technologies within the Internet of Things concept are shown in this research

    Pod pojmom bespilotni zrakoplov podrazumijeva se zrakoplov koji autonomno izvodi operacije unaprijed programiranom letnom rutom ili se njime upravlja na daljinu bez prisutnosti pilota u zrakoplovu. Svrha rada je istražiti uporabu bespilotnih zrakoplova u civilne svrhe s posebnim naglaskom na uporabu u urbanim sredinama. Cilj rada je ukazati na prednosti i nedostatke uporabe bespilotnih zrakoplova u urbanim sredinama. Danas gotovo i ne postoji grana civilnog društva u kojoj bespilotna letjelica nije pronašla mogućnost primjene. U urbanim sredinama značajnu primjenu pronašli su u dostavljanju paketa, nadziranju, prikupljanju podataka te u kriznim situacijama, itd. Njihova velika prednost je u tome što su bez posade te se pilote ne izlaže riziku. Problemi koji se pojavljuju primjenom bespilotnih zrakoplova su kibernetička sigurnost, zaštita privatnosti i sigurnost obavljanja letnih operacija.Unmanned aerial vehicle means aircraft without a pilot who flies autonomously on a path which is preprogrammed or aircraft which is controlled by ground control station. Purpose of this graduation thesis is to find where UAVs are used in civilian application and where they will be used in urban areas. Also, advantages and disadvantages of using UAVs in urban areas will be discussed in this thesis. Today is very hard to find a field in the industry where UAVs didn’t find their purpose. In urban areas UAVs will be used for delivering packages, surveillance, remote sensing and in crisis (like earthquake, floods, etc.). Main advantage of using UAVs instead aircraft is the fact that the pilots are not exposed to a risk. Problems that appear because of using UAVs in urban areas are cyber security, privacy of citizens and safety of its flight

    U ovom radu analizirat će se efektivnost transportnih sredstava, točnije osobnih vozila kroz izračune temeljene na stvarnim ulaznim podacima iz eksploatacije. Rad se sastoji od dva dijela, prvi dio je teoretski dok se u drugom djelu nalazi izračun efektivnosti kao i analiza dobivenih rezultata. Ideja rada je prikazati kako pojedini čimbenici utječu na efektivnost vozila te na koji način na nju možemo utjecati u cilju optimizacije poslovanja.This paper will analyze the effectiveness of means of transport, more precisely passenger vehicles through calculations based on real input data from exploitation. This paper consists of two parts, the first part is theoretical, while the second part contains the calculation of effectiveness as well as the analysis of the obtained results. The idea of this paper is to show how certain factors affect the effectiveness of the vehicle and how we can influence it in order to optimize business performace

    Glavna značajka javnog prijevoza je dostupnost svima u istim uvjetima. Mora biti efikasan, unatoč gužvi, smanjenoj mobilnosti i vanjskim faktorima. Gradski javni prijevoz bitan je faktor u velikim gradovima te je mjerilo kvalitete života u gradu. Ovaj rad bavi se analizom autobusne linije 136 Črnomerec – Špansko i njenim statičnim i dinamičnim elementima. Cilj ovoga rada jest pomoću slika, tablica i grafova, na temelju prikupljenih podataka o vremenu i putnicima u jutarnjim i poslijepodnevnim vršnim periodima, utvrditi je li iskorištenost linije zadovoljavajuća te dobiti uvid u stanje brzine i vremena u prijevoznom procesu te predložiti poboljšanja za analiziranu liniju i ukazati na potencijalna problematična mjesta na liniji u kojima je sigurnost ranjivih korisnika narušena od strane vozila javnog prijevoza.The main characteristic of public transport is the availability to everyone equally. It must be efficient, with issues being congestion, mobility, and external factors. Urban public transport is an important factor in major cities, and the benchmark of quality of life in cities. This undergraduate thesis is a study of the bus line 136 Črnomerec - Špansko and its static and dynamic elements. The purpose of this undergraduate thesis is to determine if the utilisation of the line is satisfactory, to get insight on the state of speeds and times in the transport process, and, based on gathered data on travel time and passengers on the line in morning and afternoon peak periods, with the help of figures, tables and graphs, to propose improvements for the analysed line with indicating possible critical points on the line where the safety of vulnerable road users is compromised by public transport vehicles

    U Diplomskom radu analizirani su različiti pristupi mjerenju i dokumentiranju očevida prometnih nesreća: tradicionalna mjerna kolica i suvremeni uređaji za mjerenje na temelju senzora pokreta. Istraživanje je pokazalo da uređaji za mjerenje na temelju senzora pokreta, konkretno uređaj "Moasure One Pro" pruža značajne prednosti u preciznosti, brzini i efikasnosti obavljanja očevida u usporedbi s tradicionalnim mjernim kolicima. Vrijeme potrebno za obavljanje očevida bilo je znatno kraće kod uređaja za mjerenje na temelju senzora pokreta dok je prijenos podataka u softverske aplikacije kao što su "AutoCad" i "PC-Crash" bio gotovo trenutni. Zaključno, uvođenje naprednih tehnologija u svakodnevnu praksu može značajno poboljšati kvalitetu i učinkovitost očevida prometnih nesreća.In the thesis, various approaches to measuring and documenting traffic accident investigations were analyzed: traditional measuring wheels and modern motion sensor-based measuring devices. The research showed that motion sensor-based measuring devices, specifically the "Moasure One Pro" device, provide significant advantages in precision, speed, and efficiency in conducting investigations compared to traditional measuring wheels. The time required to conduct the investigation was significantly shorter with the motion sensor-based measuring devices, while data transfer to software applications such as "AutoCAD" and "PC-Crash" was almost instantaneous. In conclusion, the introduction of advanced technologies into everyday practice can significantly improve the quality and efficiency of traffic accident investigations

    U ovom radu analizira se povezivanje pametnih uređaja na Internet. Na početku je objašnjena ideja IoT-a („Internet of Things“ eng.), kao i njene izvedbe i načini umrežavanja uređaja. Navedeno je nekoliko pametnih uređaja koji se koriste u svakodnevnici, te njihova funkcija u izvedbi IoT. Prikazani su različiti načini i izvedbe komunikacijskih tehnologija koje pametni uređaji koriste za međusoban rad. Objašnjena je funkcija nadzora u IoT mreži, te kako se njena sigurnost može poboljšati i osigurati. Analiziran je način rada bežičnih pristupnih točaka i njihove izvedbe. Posebni osvrt je dan na Cambium Networks i Aruba Networks pristupne točke.This paper analyzes the connection of smart devices to the Internet. At the beginning, the idea of IoT (Internet of Things) was explained, as well as its implementation and ways of networking devices. Several smart devices used in everyday life and their function in IoT implementation are listed. Different methods and implementations of communication technologies used by smart devices for mutual work are presented. It explains the monitoring function in an IoT network and how its security can be improved and ensured. The mode of operation of wireless access points and their performance were analyzed. A special review is given to Cambium Networks and Aruba Networks access points
