The Impact of New Trans-European Transport Corridors on the Transport System of the Republic of Croatia
Povezivanje osnovne mreže prometne infrastrukture s transeuropskim mrežama i
koridorima jedan je od osnovnih ciljeva i važan preduvjet za ravnomjeran razvoj svih članica
Europske Unije. Transeuropska prometna mreža planirana je mreža cesta, željeznica, zračnih
luka i vodne infrastrukture u Europskoj uniji, koja se sastoji od koridora čija je svrha jednaka
integracija svih područja, stvaranje uvjeta za gospodarski i ekonomski rast temeljem
nadogradnje prometne infrastrukture i prometnih veza te razvoj intermodalnosti i održivog
razvoja. Ovaj rad je usmjeren na prikaz novih koridora TEN – T mreže, odnosno razloga
njihovog nastanka te utjecaja na Republiku Hrvatsku s naglaskom na njen prometni sustav.Connecting the basic network of transport infrastructure with trans-European networks
and corridors is one of the basic goals and an important prerequisite for the even development
of all EU members. The Trans-European transport network is a planned network of roads,
railways, airports and water infrastructure in the European Union, which consists of corridors
whose purpose is the equal integration of all areas, the creation of conditions for economic
growth based on the upgrading of transport infrastructure and transport connections, and the
development of intermodality and sustainable development. This work is focused on the
presentation of the new corridors of the TEN-T network, i.e. the reasons for their creation and
their impact on the Republic of Croatia with reference to its transport system
Logistics Centres Area Spatial Dimensions
Robno-transportni centri su mjesta u kojima se vrši prijevoz i distribucija robe
na nacionalnoj i na međunarodnoj razini. U ovom će se radu definirati funkcije robnotransportnih centara i vrste centara koje postoje. Također će se objasniti podjela robnotransportnih centara s obzirom na vrstu tereta koja se skladišti u centrima, kao i njihova
fizička i kemijska svojstva koja su važna za određivanje prostora i vrste skladištenja.
Nadalje će se analizirati površine robno-transportnih centara i prikazati raščlamba
glavnih komponenata robno-transportnih površina, te matematički prikaz izračuna tih
površina. U radu će se obraditi tehničko-tehnološka usporedba kopnenih i lučkih
robno-transportnih centara.Logistics centres are places where cargo is transported and distributed on a
national and international level. This final thesis will analyse what are the primary
functions of logistics centres and what types there are. It will also explain the division
of logistics centers regarding the type of cargo that is stored in the centers, as well as
their physical and chemical properties, which are important for defining the space and
type of storage. Furthermore, the areas of logistics centers are described and the
breakdown of the main components of centers areas is presented, as well as a
mathematical presentation of the calculation of these areas. Final thesis will also
compare technical-technological differences between ports and dry ports
Analysis of Electric Vehicles in Terms of Road Safety
Cilj ovog rada je prikazati sigurnosne elemente električnih vozila u prometu i kako utječu na
sigurnost prometa. S razvitkom prometa i tehnologija koje se koriste u njemu povećava se
prometna potražnja, a s time i sama gustoća prometa koja dovodi do povećanja nesigurnosti
i nesreća koji su uzrokovani povećanjem sudionika. Kako bi se promet mogao nesmetano i
sigurno odvijati važno je poznavati problematiku svih sudionika u prometu koja se spominje
ovim radom te je važno pronaći rješenja i uskladiti sve elemente kako bi se povećala sigurnost.
Elementi u prometu su čovjek, prometnica i vozilo. Pažnja je skrenuta na vozilo iz razloga jer
se vozilo kreće najvećom brzinom u prometu te je time i najopasnije. Iz tog razloga ovim radom
se prikazuju aktivni i pasivni sigurnosni elementi vozila i sigurnosna rješenja koja oni donose.
Razvitkom tehnologije na tržištu su se pojavila električna vozila na koja se također obraća
pažnja ovim radom na način da je objašnjen princip rada električna vozila i tehnologije koje ta
vozila koriste i implementiraju u promet te koliko su te tehnologije zapravo sigurne i na koji
način mijenjaju prometni sustav.The aim of this paper is to show the safety elements of electric vehicles in traffic and how they
affect traffic safety. With the development of traffic and the technologies used in it, the traffic
demand increases, and with it the traffic density itself, which leads to an increase in
uncertainty and accidents caused by an increase in participants. In order for traffic to proceed
smoothly and safely, it is important to know the problems of all traffic participants mentioned
in this paper, and it is important to find solutions and harmonize all elements in order to
increase safety. The elements of traffic are man, road and vehicle. Attention was drawn to the
vehicle because it moves at the highest speed in traffic and is therefore the most dangerous.
For this reason, this paper presents the active and passive safety elements of the vehicle and
the safety solutions they provide. With the development of technology, electric vehicles
appeared on the market, which we pay attention to in this paper in such a way that the
principle of operation of electric vehicles and the technologies that these vehicles use and
implement in traffic are explained, and how safe these technologies are in fact and how they
change the traffic system
Overview of Provision Logistics Service Activities
Pružanje logističke usluge obuhvaća niz ključnih aktivnosti koje su potrebne za
učinkovito upravljanje lancem opskrbe, od početne točke do krajnjeg korisnika. Te
aktivnosti uključuju planiranje i organizaciju transporta, pri čemu se odabire
najprikladnije prijevozno sredstvo i ruta kako bi se roba sigurno i pravovremeno dostavila
na odredište. Skladištenje ima važnu ulogu u logistici, gdje se pažljivo upravlja prostorom
za skladištenje, što uključuje prijem, sortiranje, pohranu i izdavanje robe. Osim toga, tu
su i aktivnosti kao što su upravljanje zalihama, kontrola kvalitete, rukovanje materijalima
te koordinacija s različitim sudionicima u lancu opskrbe. Sve ove aktivnosti usmjerene
su na optimizaciju troškova, smanjenje vremena isporuke i povećanje zadovoljstva
krajnjeg korisnika.Providing logistics services encompasses a range of key activities necessary for
effectively managing the supply chain from the point of origin to the end user. These
activities include the planning and organization of transportation, where the most
suitable mode of transport and route are selected to ensure that goods are delivered
safely and on time. Warehousing plays a crucial role in logistics, with careful
management of storage space, including the receipt, sorting, storage, and dispatch of
goods. Additionally, activities such as inventory management, quality control, material
handling, and coordination with various supply chain participants are also essential. All
these activities are aimed at optimizing costs, reducing delivery times, and increasing
end-user satisfaction
Organisation of intermodal trains between Croatia and Slovakia
Intermodalni prijevoz podrazumijeva korištenje dva ili više prijevozna moda u kojem su
interoperabilnost i interkonektivnost najvažniji preduvjeti učinkovitog prijevoza. Uporabom
standardiziranih teretnih jedinica osigurava se interoperabilnost u sustavu intermodalnog
prijevoza. Organizacija intermodalnih vlakova obuhvaća integraciju prijevoznih modova,
prijevozne resurse, korištenje infrastrukture odnosno terminala kao infrastrukturnog resursa bez
kojeg je intermodalni prijevoz nezamisliv te niz regulatornih mjera. Zahvaljujući liberalizaciji
tržišta željezničkih usluga intermodalni prijevoz doprinosi revitalizaciji željezničkog sektora.Intermodal transport involves the use of two or more modes of transportation where
interoperability and interconnectivity are the most important prerequisites for efficient transport.
The use of standardized cargo units ensures interoperability within the intermodal transport
system. The organization of intermodal trains includes the integration of transport modes, transport
resources, the use of infrastructure, specifically terminals as essential infrastructural resources
without which intermodal transport is unimaginable, and a range of regulatory measures. Thanks
to the liberalization of the railway services market, intermodal transport contributes to the
revitalization of the railway sector
Aviation security with the application of artificial intelligence
Zaštita zračnog prometa ima za cilj zaštititi putnike, posadu te zemaljsko osoblje od
djela nezakonitog ometanja. Cilj ovoga rada jest predočiti načine primjene umjetne inteligencije
pri zaštiti zračnog prometa. Umjetna inteligencija jest svaka tehnologija koja imitira ljudsku
inteligenciju s ciljem zamjene iste. Primjena umjetne inteligencije u zaštiti zračnog prometa
definirana je međunarodnom regulativom. Umjetna inteligencija sve je prisutnija u svim
područjima zračnog prometa. Svojom prisutnošću olakšava brojne postupke zaštite zračnog
prometa poput identifikacije putnika pomoću biometrijskih postupaka, uočavanja prijetnji te
kibernetičke zaštite. Predviđa se sve veći utjecaj i primjena umjetne inteligencije kako bi zračni
promet bio što učinkovitiji, pouzdaniji i sigurniji.The aim of aviation security is to protect passengers, crew, and ground staff from acts
of unlawful interference. The objective of this thesis is to present ways to apply artificial
intelligence in aviation security. Artificial intelligence refers to any technology that mimics
human intelligence with the aim of replacing it. The application of artificial intelligence in
aviation security is defined by international regulations. Artificial intelligence is increasingly
present in all areas of aviation. Its presence facilitates numerous aviation security procedures,
such as passenger identification using biometrics, threat detection and cybersecurity. It is
anticipated that the influence and application of artificial intelligence will continue to grow,
making air traffic more efficient, reliable and safer
Analysis of Intersections with Improvement Proposals at Blaž Jurišić Alley in the City of Zagreb
U diplomskom radu analizirano je područje gradske četvrti Gornja Dubrava u Gradu Zagrebu.
Na predmetnom području analizirano je postojeće stanje promatranih prometnica i te
organizacija i regulacija prometnih tokova. Izvršena je terenska analiza kako bi se dobio uvid
u postojeće stanje sigurnosti prometa, a ujedno je i izvršeno brojanje prometa kojim se dobila
jasnija slika o prometnom opterećenju predmetnog područja. Temeljem dobivenih podataka
predložena je uspostava nove regulacije i organizacija prometnih tokova te je izrađeno idejno
prometno rješenje u svrhu povećanja sigurnost svih sudionika u prometu, uz zadržavanje iste
ili postizanje veće propusne moći, povećanja razina usluge te potenciranja razvoja održivog
prometovanja. Prikaz idejnog prometnog rješenja izrađen je u programskom alatu AutoCAD,This master's thesis analyzes the area of Gornja Dubrava city district in the City of Zagreb. In
the covered area, the existing state of road traffic and infrastructure were analyzed as well as
the organization and regulation of traffic. A field survey was conducted to gain insight into the
current state of traffic safety and at the same time a traffic count was done to get insight into
the traffic volumes of the subject area. Based on the obtained data, the new regulation and
organization of traffic flows is proposed as well as a conceptual traffic solution, in order to
increase the safety for road users, while maintaining the same or increasing the current road
capacity, as well as to increase the level of service and emphasize the development of
sustainable transport. The presentation of the conceptual transport solution was made in the
software tool AutoCAD
Analysis of the Technical Correctness of the Braking and Steering Systems of Motor Vehicles in the Function of Safety with a Proposal for Measures
U diplomskom radu analizirana je tehnička ispravnost sustava za
kočenje i upravljanje motornih vozila te stanje pneumatika i ovjesa vozila u
procesu tehničkom pregleda vozila. Opisan je utjecaj čimbenika sigurnosti u
prometu te utjecaj aktivnih i pasivnih elemenata vozila na sigurnost prometa.
Kako su kočioni i upravljački sustav jedni od ključnih elemenata aktivne
sigurnosti vozila, obrađen je detaljan opis istih i njihov utjecaj na sigurnost
odvijanja cestovnog prometa. Analiza tehničke ispravnosti navedenih
elemenata obavljena je pomoću podataka prikupljenih tijekom rutinskog
tehničkog pregleda vozila. Istraživanjem su identificirani pojedini nedostatci na
vozilima koji mogu utjecati na potencijalne sigurnosne opasnosti i povećanje
mogućnosti od nastanka prometne nesreće prilikom vožnje takvog vozila.
Shodno obavljenoj analizi predlaže se niz mjera koje su usmjerene na
povećavanje sigurnosti odvijanja prometa na cestama.The thesis analyzed the technical correctness of the braking and
steering system of motor vehicles, as well as the condition of the vehicle's
pneumatics and suspension in the process of the vehicle's technical
inspection. The influence of traffic safety factors and the influence of active
and passive vehicle elements on traffic safety is described. As braking and
steering systems are one of the key elements of active vehicle safety, a
detailed description of them and their impact on the safety of road traffic has
been processed. The analysis of the technical correctness of the mentioned
elements was carried out using the data collected during the routine technical
inspection of the vehicles. The research identified certain defects in vehicles
that can affect potential safety hazards and increase the possibility of a traffic
accident when driving such a vehicle. According to the analysis, a number of
measures are proposed that are aimed at increasing the safety of traffic on
the roads
Analysis of the characteristics of wireless networks and WiFi mesh technology in indoor environment
Digitalna komunikacija prevladava u današnjem svijetu zahvaljujući bežičnim
tehnologijama. Pokrivajući velike površine, bežične mreže omogućavaju krajnjim
korisnicima mobilnost i pristup Internetu bez potrebe za kabelima. WiFi mesh
tehnologija, korištenjem više čvorova za stvaranje mreže, pruža veću pokrivenost
signala i veće brzine prijenosa uz jednostavnu instalaciju. U tom kontekstu, to je čini
pogodnijom za implementaciju u zatvorenim prostorima od tradicionalnog WiFi-a. Zbog
načina komunikacije u bežičnim mrežama, one su često meta kibernetičkih napada.
To izaziva stvaranje naprednih sigurnosnih protokola i tehnologija, kako bi se zaštitili
osjetljivi podaci i resursi korisnika mreže.Digital communication prevails in today's world thanks to wireless technologies. By
covering large areas, wireless networks allow users mobility and access to the Internet
without the need for cables. WiFi mesh technology, by using multiple nodes to create
a network, provides greater signal coverage and higher transmission speeds with easy
installation. In that context, it makes it more suitable for implementation in indoor
environments compared to traditional WiFi. Due to the way of communication in
wireless networks, they are often the target of cyber attacks. This causes the creation
of advanced security protocols and technologies, in order to protect sensitive data and
resources of network users
Ergonomic assessment of the engine driver's workplace in the Republic of Croatia
Ergonomija kao znanstvena disciplina, proučava interakciju između ljudi i njihovog radnog okruženja, u ovome diplomskom radu između strojovođa i radnog okoliša upravljačnice i prometnog okoliša izvan upravljačnice, s ciljem poboljšanja udobnosti, sigurnosti i izvedbe strojovođa. Ergonomijska analiza radnog mjesta strojovođe dat će uvid u trenutno stanje za strojovođe, koji rade u tvrtkama operaterima u Republici Hrvatskoj. Na temelju ergonomijske prosudbe radnog mjesta strojovođe i dizajna upravljačnica lokomotiva i/ili motornih garitura, koja prometuje u Republici Hrvatskoj, detektirani su nedostaci u dizajnu i organizaciji radnog mjesta strojovođe i predložena su moguća poboljšanja u najvažnijim segmentima iz ergonomijskog aspekta.Ergonomics as a scientific discipline studies the interaction between people and their working environment, in this thesis between the engine drivers and the working environment of the cab and the traffic environment outside the cab, with the aim of improving the comfort, safety and performance of the driver. The ergonomic analysis of the driver's workplace will give an insight into the current state of engine drivers, who work in operator companies in the Republic of Croatia. Based on the ergonomic assessment of the engine driver's workplace and the design of the cab of the locomotive and/or motor railcars operating in the Republic of Croatia, deficiencies in the design and organization of the driver's workplace were detected and possible improvements were proposed in the most important segments from the ergonomic aspect
