The essay describes the design method developed by the multidisciplinary Research Group: Heritage design, Ecodesign, Domotics and Renewable Sources, which can be declined in specific cases. The process qualifies for attention to aspects related to health and well-being; the thesis argued is that in order to change contemporary habits it is possible to introduce spatial devices capable of distracting attention from the ways of continuous connection with the digital world. “Spacecraft,” small, demountable structures featuring home automation systems, renewable energy and sustainable materials, can constitute a ‘joyful spatial system’ for manual making, listening to stories between different generations, cultivating cultures, and reading books. Abstract
T
his contribution analyzes the archaeological evidence from the territory of Casagiove, dating from Prehistory to the Late
Antiquity. The research, based on the methodology of Ancient Topography, led to the identification of 45 sites and a detailed exa
mination of axes, identified as perpetuation of ancient agrarian divisions. Numerous data were recovered throuh bibliography and
archival documentation, most of these sites have been precisely located. Despite the challenges due to the substantial urbanization
ofn some areas and the destructive activity of the quarries, further information has been gathered through extensive and detailed
f
ield surveys across the entire municipal territory, especially in the flat areas still used for agriculture and on the southern slopes of
the Tifatini Mountains. The data collected provide a complex historical-archaeological framework, representing a useful piece in

Revolutionizing Severe Malaria Management: The Role of CytoSorb® Hemoadsorption in Treating Malaria-Induced Liver Dysfunction
: Malaria, caused by Plasmodium falciparum (PF), can lead to severe liver dysfunction and hyperbilirubinemia, worsening the prognosis. A 53-year-old male patient with malaria-related liver dysfunction and severe hyperbilirubinemia was treated with extracorporeal hemoadsorption (EHA) with the CytoSorb® filter (CytoSorbents, Monmouth Junction, NJ), marking a turning point in his treatment. This filter, by removing inflammatory mediators and bilirubin, significantly reduced bilirubin levels and improved the patient's clinical condition. This intervention facilitated a bridging therapy, improving symptoms and preventing organ damage during antimalarial treatment. CytoSorb® in EHA shows promise in treating malaria-induced liver dysfunction, suggesting the need for further research on its broader clinical application
Sustainable landscape transformations along the former Alifana railway line for cultural and Environmental Integration
Transforming abandoned railway lines into sustainable infrastructures presents an exciting
opportunity to connect communities, preserve cultural heritage, and enhance ecological
resilience. Specifically, the former Alifana railway, which runs through rural areas in
Campania, offers an ideal space to promote innovative agricultural practices and regenerate
the landscape it traverses. This study aims to analyze the potential of the project by exploring
how the redevelopment of this section of land could improve biodiversity, foster connections
between fragmented communities, and preserve cultural identity through innovative
strategies. The work is based on a multidisciplinary approach that combines spatial analysis,
ecological assessments, and the enhancement of cultural heritage, with the goal of
proposing design solutions in harmony with sustainability and local identity. Potential
interventions should integrate green infrastructures and sustainable food systems, aiming to
increase food self-sufficiency and reduce environmental impact, making the region a model
for sustainable innovation. Therefore, the redevelopment of the Alifana would preserve
historical memory, encourage eco-friendly practices, and promote responsible land use,
providing a model for integrated regional development
E-ideals in exponential polynomial rings
We investigate exponential ideals within the context of exponential polynomial rings over exponential fields. We establish two distinct notions of maximality for exponential ideals and explore their relationship to primeness. These three concepts—prime, maximal, and E-maximal—are shown to be independent, in contrast to the classical scenario. Furthermore, we demonstrate that, over an algebraically closed field K, the correspondence between points of (Formula presented.) and maximal exponential ideals of the ring of exponential polynomials breaks down. Up-regulated microRNAs in blastocoel fluid of human implanted embryos could control circuits of pluripotency and be related to embryo competence
Purpose: The paper aims to investigate the biological role of microRNAs secreted by preimplantation embryo into the blastocoel fluid and to detect a distinctive molecular signature for identifying embryos with the highest implantation potential. Methods: We carried on a multicenter retrospective study involving five European IVF centers. We collected 112 blastocoel fluid samples from embryos on day 5 post-fertilization, cultured individually, along with data on blastocyst grade and embryo transfer outcomes. Using a custom TLDA Array, we compared the expression levels of 89 miRNAs between 33 fluids from high-quality implanted embryos and 30 fluids from high-quality not-implanted embryos. Expression differences were assessed using SAM and t-test. Additionally, correlation and function enrichment analysis and network construction were conducted to identify the biological roles of deregulated microRNAs. Results: We identified six up-regulated microRNAs in the blastocoel fluid from implanted embryos, significantly and positively correlated across all samples (r ≥ 0.7; P ≤ 0.05). They could take part in pluripotency circuits, regulating and being regulated by transcription factors associated with stemness, cell growth, and embryo development. The ROC curve analysis confirmed the potential of these miRNAs as implantation classifiers. Conclusion: The six miRNAs up-regulated in blastocoel fluid from implanted embryos may represent a functional molecular signature for evaluating blastocyst quality and identifying the most competent embryos. Their evaluation associated with non-invasive preimplantation genetic testing, integrating epigenetic and genomic analyses, could enhance implantation grade and allow for identification of the euploid embryo not able to implant
