공공 디지털 플랫폼의 역할과 활성화 방안 - 플랫폼 데이터와 서비스 관점에서 -
Get PDF유경제의 등장과 플랫폼 기업들의 성공에 힘입어 오늘날 디지털 플랫폼은 기업의 성패를 좌우하는 필수적 요소로 인식되고 있다. 디지털 플랫폼을 통해 기존에 분리된 경제 주체들을 연결·공유함으로써 이전에 존재하지 않았던 새로운 가치를 창출할 수 있다는 점에서 플랫폼은 경제사회적 측면에서 매우 중요한 의미를 지니고 있다. 이로 인해 공동체 이익과 사회적 가치를 중시하는 공공부문에서도 디지털 플랫폼의 도입과 활용이 활발히 진행되고 있다.
본고에서는 미래 핵심 인프라 자원으로 인식되고 있는 디지털 플랫폼의 특성과 국내·외 운영 사례를 살펴보고, 빅데이터 활용 및 필요성이 증대되면서 부각된, 국내의 공공 데이터 플랫폼인 소재 및 연구 데이터 플랫폼 그리고 과학기술 R&D 분야 플랫폼 등에 대해 알아본다. 그리고 공공부문의 디지털 플랫폼이 지니고 있는 데이터 활용 확보의 어려움, 데이터 다양성 및 규모, 사용자 중심의 서비스 및 서비스 모델 등 플랫폼의 속성적 한계와 기능적 요구사항을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석결과를 기반으로 공공 디지털 플랫폼 서비스의 활성화를 위한 플랫폼 설계, 기술개발 기획, 서비스 측면의 전략적 방안을 제안하고자 한다
The Development of Information Science in Ibero-America
Get PDFThe purpose of this article is to problematize the existence of a possible Ibero-American informational thinking. It was initially observed that a relative absence of Ibero-America in the international presentations and mappings of information science exists. Below, the reality of the 22 countries that compose Ibero-America is discussed, a region that can be understood from a sociocultural and geopolitical perspective. Then, a mapping of the information science research in these countries is made. The main research topics found are: epistemological studies, relationships with library science, information literacy, representation and organization, bibliometric studies, information management, user studies, technological dimensions, and relationships with archival science and museum studies. Finally, a general epistemological configuration of information science is presented at a global level, highlighting the great trends of study of information that marked the decades of the 1960s and 1970s (physical model), 1980s and 1990s (cognitive model), and the 21st century (sociocultural model), and which manifested themselves in the different subareas that make up the field. The most recent research in information science, in addition to addressing information transfer (physical dimension) and its relationship with data and knowledge (cognitive dimension), has also incorporated aspects related to the social effects of information, its role in the constitution of identities and culture, and the importance of its material conformations. Such expansion reflects attempts to address the complexity of informational phenomena. Therefore, it is concluded that it is important to place the specific contributions of Ibero-America in this context
Intercropping in Rubber Plantation Ontology for a Decision Support System
Get PDFPlanting intercropping in rubber plantations is another alternative for generating more income for farmers. However, farmers still lack the knowledge of choosing plants. In addition, information for decision making comes from many sources and is knowledge accumulated by the expert. Therefore, this research aims to create a decision support system for growing rubber trees for individual farmers. It aims to get the highest income and the lowest cost by using semantic web technology so that farmers can access knowledge at all times and reduce the risk of growing crops, and also support the decision supporting system (DSS) to be more intelligent. The integrated intercropping ontology and rule are a part of the decision-making process for selecting plants that is suitable for individual rubber plots. A list of suitable plants is important for decision variables in the allocation of planting areas for each type of plant for multiple purposes. This article presents designing and developing the intercropping ontology for DSS which defines a class based on the principle of intercropping in rubber plantations. It is grouped according to the characteristics and condition of the area of the farmer as a concept of the rubber plantation. It consists of the age of rubber tree, spacing between rows of rubber trees, and water sources for use in agriculture and soil group, including slope, drainage, depth of soil, etc. The use of ontology for recommended plants suitable for individual farmers makes a contribution to the knowledge management field. Besides being useful in DSS by offering options with accuracy, it also reduces the complexity of the problem by reducing decision variables and condition variables in the multi-objective optimization model of DSS
Evaluating the Information Access Skills of Students of a College of Education in Ghana
Get PDFAccess to relevant information determines the quality of life of an individual in society and the academe. Academic institutions have established information literacy programmes to enhance students’ access to information. With the elevation of colleges of education to tertiary status in Ghana, pre-service teachers are now required to conduct research to improve their reflective thinking in order to be certified. However, the information access skills of students in colleges of education in Ghana are uncertain. This study draws empirical evidence from students in the Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education, Wa, Ghana on their information access skills. Primary data were collected from 303 respondents from the college using a stratified sampling procedure. The data were collected using a questionnaire and analysed using descriptive statistics. The results indicate that information is available to students through different sources such as the Internet, libraries, and contact with friends and authorities. However, students were limited in respect to access to relevant online resources for their academic activities due to inadequate information access skills. Potential solutions are discussed

No full text한국과학기술정보연구원(원장 최희윤, 이하 KISTI)과 KAIST(한국과학기술원, 총장 신성철)는 6월 16일(화) KAIST에서 학·연 공동연구센터 개소식을 가졌다. 이는 양 기관이 지난 2월 맺은 업무협약(MOU)에 대한 후속 조치로서, 출연(연)과 학계가 공동으로 연구센터를 구축한 것은 이번이 처음이다. 양 기관은 산발적으로 이루어지고 있는 연구교류를 체계화하여 상호 발전적인 협력체계로 육성하기 위해 공동연구센터 구축에 뜻을 모으게 됐다. 공동연구센터는 양 기관의 R&R(역할 및 임무)을 기반으로 과학기술혁신 R&D 의제 및 우수 연구성과 도출의 근간이 될 것으로 예상된다
