Reactive ion etching of CVD diamond using MgO electrodes
application/pdfChemical vapor deposition (CVD) diamond etching was investigated in reactive ion etching system using MgO sintered ceramic electrode. MgO electrode system was consisted of two parallel disks with 7cm in diameter. The RF power (13.56MHz) was fixed to be constant as 100W. O2 was supplied to the chamber via mass flow controller. The flow rate, total pressure, and electrode distance were 20sccm, 10Pa, and 2cm, respectively. The polycrystalline diamond films of approximately 14μm thickness on silicon wafers (5x5mm) were used as samples. The diamond etching rate increased about 50 percent when stainless steel electrode was substituted for MgO electrode. The increase of etching rate is probably due to increase of the electron density.departmental bulletin pape

Study on Three-Dimensional and Multi-directional Image Compression using Motion Vector
application/pdfThe data rate from rate sent from the observing satellite is increasing rapidly in accordance with the progress of the high resolution imaging. Therefore, three dimensional image data compression is indispensable. This paper describes the method to compress the image data greatly by using the motion vector, and the results of the comparison between the proposed and conventional (JPEG2000, JPEG-LS) method and also the paper classified. Furthermore, the influences of gradient of the regional place and the viewing angle are investigated combining the motion vector with the extractive method of three-dimensional data information.departmental bulletin pape
Heating Electrical Resistivity Curves of Ni-50at.%Pt alloys Annealed at Various Temperatures
application/pdfThe electrical resistivity of Ni-50at.%Pt ordered and disordered by annealing at various temperatures and immediately quenched, is measured during continuous heating and results obtained are compared with electrical resistivity curves calculated by the Rossiter's equation from differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) data of each sample. The observation of electron microstructures and electron diffraction patterns for each sample is performed through the transmission electron microscope. The results of electrical resistivity measurements and electron diffraction reveal that other crystal structure different from the L10 type NiPt are formed during long heat treatment at lower temperature.departmental bulletin pape
On a Differntial Filter using the FIR narrow Band Filters
application/pdfThe signal processing of FFT for the sequence weighted by the extended Hanning window is equivalent to many narrow band FIR filters with different center frequencies. In this paper we propose a design method of the low pass differential filters with several orders from zero to the adequate value by the liner combination of these narrow band filters. The proposed method is a modifying one of the Remez's algorithm by the Penrose generalized inverse. It is shown that we obtain the Chebyshev approximation filter by the proposed method. AC analysis of Linear Periodic Time-Varying Circuits Using Numerical Integration
application/pdfThis paper describes a frequency analysis method for linear periodic time-varying (LPTV) circuits. In this method, a linear time-varying equation is approximated as a set of differential equivalentequations using a numerical integration. We propose an efficient method for computing the discretized time-varying transfer functions in terms of many frequency points. Furthermore, computational cost and required memories are reduced by transforming the number of variables for modified nodal analysis into the number of capacitors and inductors in the circuit. Impurity electron states in magnetic semiconductors
application/pdfEuO、EuSなどの磁性半導体中の不純物電子状態として、(1) Gdがドープされた場合、(2) 格子欠陥が生じた場合、を考察する。不純物によって導入されたキャリア(伝導電子)は、Eu2+イオン上の局在スピンとの交換相互作用を通じて、温度や外部磁場の影響を受ける。今回は、これらの電子状態を扱うモデルを提案し、このモデルに対して動的CPAを適用し定式化する。本格的な数値計算を行なう前段階として、常磁性・強磁性の2つの状態をまず調べる。departmental bulletin pape
