Observation of mesoporous titanium dioxide synthesis process -Research works accomplished by using Electron Microscope System: XXV (3)-
application/pdfUsing amorphous mesoporous SiO2 (KIT-6) as a template, mesoporous TiO2 powder was synthesized by exchanging Si for Ti. The process was examined by TEM and X-RD. Just after the exchange reaction, the microstructure of TiO2 was almost the same as that of mesoporous SiO2 (KIT-6). The distance between the neighboring mesopores was slightly expanded. It was still in amorphous phase. Once the powder was heated to 600oC, TiO2 crystallized to anatase phase. The microstructure of crystalline phase was similar to that of mesoporous SiO2 with smaller distance between the neighboring pores. A Study of DDoS Attacks Provision Method by Server and Clients.
application/pdfA cyber-attack is any type of offensive maneuver (such as a DDoS attack) employed by individuals or organizations against infrastructures, computer networks, and/or personal computers and handheld devices. Assailants can attack targets using a variety of malicious actions, usually originating from anonymous sources, with the purpose of stealing from, altering, or destroying a specified target. Most Internet service providers have established countermeasures to DDoS attacks in their network backbones. These devices can control available bandwidth while implemented proxy responses, but they often cut off valid communications because it is impossible to clearly discern legitimate users from hidden attackers. In this paper, we consider about HTTP flood attacks provision method by server and clients. When a server determines attacks are in progress, it records the interval between the session establishment and update times and then diverts any further incoming attack messages to the virtual Web server(decoy server). If legitimate users are hijacked or tricked into attacking the server, the server displays an error page informing them of the nature of the attack and how to stop it.departmental bulletin pape
Prevention of DEP bypass by API hooks.
application/pdfThis paper proposes a method for prevention of DEP bypass, using API hooks. The method reduces the overhead of ROP detection by focusing on when the only Windows APIs for the DEP bypass are called. ROP detection performs the check whether Windows API is called by a CALL instruction and the check of the stack address. Experiments showed that a prototype system can prevent the DEP bypass by vulnerability attacks of Metasploit Framework, while legitimate normal applications work without false alarms.departmental bulletin pape

About the situation after the Prison Law revision
application/pdfThe Prison Law (1908) was at the time of establishment innovative in the world. But, the so called Nagoya Prison Case was disclosed the problem concerning treatment of sentenced inmates. So, The Ministry of Justice established the Correctional Administration Reform Council. The Correctional Administration Reform Council made the “Recommendations of the Correctional Administration Reform Council". After the advisory, the Prison Law was totally revised, 2006. (The Act on Penal Institutions and the Treatment of Sentenced Inmates") The new law provided for inmates' rights and obligations, requirements for imposing disciplinary punishments, medical care, complaints mechanisms and treatment for the reentry of inmates into society can be enhanced. People often said that “how offenders are treated" is a reflection of the country's social and cultural conditions. Approach for an alignment of chaperonin GroEL complexes encapsulating metal nano particles --Research works accomplished by using Electron Microscope System: XXV(2)--
application/pdfChaperonin GroEL is double ring structure which constructed with 14-mer of 57 kDa subunits. GroEL has two cavities to trap both newly polypeptides and denatured proteins, and folds them with co-chaperonin GroES and ATP. Both Asp-52 and Asp-398 in E. coli GroEL are important for ATP hydrolysis. The ATPase activity of GroEL(D52A/D398A) mutants was <0.01 % of wild-type GroEL. GroEL(D52A/D398A) formed a extremely stable symmetric football-shaped GroEL-GroES complex in the presence of ATP, with a half-time of ~150 h (~6 days). We applied GroEL(D52A/D398A) as a nano-sized capsule that could encapsulate metal nanoparticles in its two cavities, and tried to align GroEL(D52A/D398A) complexes encapsulating metal nano particles on the surface of a TEM grid.departmental bulletin pape
