    [[abstract]]自1980年代開始,企業社會責任(corporatesocialresponsibility,CSR)逐漸受到社會與企業的重視,有些企業仍將企業社會責任視為公司的負擔,有些企業不知道該如何從事企業社會責任,而台灣在1997年成立社團法人中華民國企業永續發展協會(BCSD),近年來更因發生食安、勞工及環境問題,讓企業社會責任議題在台灣更備受重視,成為大多數企業與人民所認同的價值觀。本研究最主要的目的為以陳振遠和洪世偉(2013)所建?的企業社會責任指?為研究樣本,探討台灣上市公司執行企業社會責任對其公司獲利能力、企業價值及成長力之影響,本研究採用總資產報酬率、淨值報酬率、每股盈餘、營業利益率、稅後淨利率作為獲利能力衡量指標;總資產報酬成長率、淨值成長率、營業利益成長率為成長力衡量指標;Tobin’sQ作為企業價值之衡量指標,將樣本以前後27%(Kelley,1939;Cureton,1957)區分為高低兩組企業社會責任績效,並以平均數檢定針對2010年至2014?台灣上市公司之非金融產業為對象進?分析,探討台灣上市公司高度或低度投入企業社會責任對公司財務績效、成長力與企業價值之影響。實證結果發現,企業社會責任績效前27%的公司的確較後27%的公司有較高的財務績效及企業價值,而在成長率分析方面,則是高投入企業社會責任的公司有較低成長力。總而言之,從本研究中可以發現,企業從事企業社會責任時,起初並沒有立即增加其財務績效,因為推動的初期邊際成本很高,且聲譽基礎低,但隨著投入時間與貢獻越多,邊際成本開始下降,邊際利益開始上升,投入企業社會責任的確能夠增加公司經營績效,不僅為企業帶來良好形象,形成保護傘與企業社會盾的效果(CSRShield;ChenandLee,2017),更提升企業競爭力與企業價值,故本研究支持企業從事企業社會責任。[[abstract]]Theconceptofcorporatesocialresponsibility(CSR)hasgrowninpopularitysincethe1980s,SomecompaniesstillregardCSRasanunpleasanttask,whileothersdonothowtoexecuteCSRwell.In1997,theBusinessCouncilforSustainableDevelopment(BCSD)wasfoundedinTaiwan.Numerousincidentsrelatedtofoodsafety,laborrightsandenvironmentalprotectioninrecentyearshaveledtoarisingawarenessofCSRacrosssociety,whichhassettleditfirmlyinthemainstream.ThisstudyemployedtheTaiwanCSRIndexdevelopedbyChenandHung(2013),thetopandbottom27%ofthesample(Kelley,1939;Cureton,1957)werecategorizedintotwogroups:companieswithhighlevelsofCSR(high-CSRfirms)andcompanieswithlowlevelsofCSR(low-CSRfirms).Subsequentlyat-testwasconductedtoanalyzethefinancialperformance,growth,andfirmvalueofnon-financiallistedcompaniesinTaiwanfrom2010to2014.Empiricalresultsindicatethatthetop27%ofthesampleperformedsignificantlybetterthanthebottom27%infinancialperformanceandcorporatevalue.While,fromtheperspectiveofgrowthanalysis,thetop27%ofthesampleexhibitlowergrowthforce.ResearchresultsshowthatacompanywillnotreapfinancialrewardsattheinitialphaseofengagementinCSR.ThispointstotheconsiderablemarginalcostacompanyhastopaywhenitstartstoengageinCSR.Withthepassageoftime,however,engagementinCSRhasbeenproventoincreaseafirm’scorporateperformanceandenhanceitscorporateimage(CSRShield;ChenandLee,2017),whileincreasingitscompetitivenessandfirmvalueatthesametime.HencethisstudysupportsbusinessestopursueCSR

    A Study on the Utility of Medieval House in the Mixed Buildings

    [[abstract]]台灣土地稀少,都會區人口密集,住宅類型往垂直空間發展,住商混合大樓為目前住宅主流趨勢,然而購屋者選擇住商混合大樓中古屋之樓層別時,個人本身考量點為何?不同都會區差異為何?各樓層的坪效為何?因此,本研究依據特徵價格理論為基礎,並建構模型實證以探討,觀察六都之住商混合大樓中古屋的相對樓高與絕對樓高對交易總價的影響程度,再延伸樓層別效用比率作比較分析,以觀察不同總樓高的住商混合大樓中古屋之各樓層價差關係。實證結果顯示,購屋者在選購住商混合大樓中古屋考量樓層別時,「相對樓高」的因素更甚於「絕對樓高」;其中較特別的現象4樓為最低價格樓層,表示購屋者對4樓存在不吉利的忌諱,尤其是高雄市更為明顯;另一特殊現象是除了1樓為最高價格樓層外,2樓不是最低價格樓層,可能因為住商混合大樓1樓有店面效應,而2樓可以與1樓共同營業或單獨開設商店,亦有店面效應之故。[[abstract]]Duetolimitedland,highpopulationinmetropolitanareasandtheverticaldevelopmentofresidentialspaceinTaiwan,residentialandcommercialmixed-usetypeisthemainstreamnow.However,whataretheconsiderationsofbuyerstochoosewhichfloorforliving?Whatarethedifferencesbetweendifferentmetropolitanareas?Andwhatistheeffectofsquarefeetineachfloor?Therefore,inthisstudy,basedonthecharacteristicpricetheory,Iestablishtheempiricalstudyofthemodeltoexploreandobservetheinfluenceoftherelativeheightandtheabsoluteheightofthepre-ownedhouseonthetotalpriceofthetransactions,andthencomparetheflooranalysis.Theresultshowsthatthe"relativefloor"factorismoreimportantthan"absolutefloor"whenthepurchasersconsiderthebuildingtypeofpre-ownedandresidentialandcommercialmixed-use.The4thfloorusuallyhasthelowestprice,implyingthatpurchaserstakeitasataboowhichmeansunfortunate.ItisespeciallyobviousinKaohsiungCity.Besides,anotherspecialphenomenonisthatthefirstfloorsellsatthehighestpriceandthesecondfloordoesnotthesellatthelowestprice,becausetheresidentsofthefirstflooralwayshaveastoreeffectiveness.Therefore,thesecondfloorcanbeopenedwiththefirstfloororasanotherdifferentstore

    A Study on Safety and Health Management of Contractors for a Petroleum Corporation

    [[abstract]]本研究以敘述性分析以及灰關聯分析等方法,對某石油公司承攬商事故進行分析,以掌握承攬商事故的各項要因。研究設計乃蒐集2011~2016年間承攬商事故案例,加以研讀、統計,以敘述性分析探討事故的發生時間、媒介物、災害類型等之分布;並以灰關聯分析研究基本原因、間接原因等各項因子與承攬商發生事故之關聯度。本研究發現,承攬商發生事故的次數及發生率均與施工時數成正比。承攬商事故發生件數,依時間而言,以每日的10~11時最高;依災害類型而言,以「墜落滾落」最高、「火災」及「其他」次之;依起因物而言,以熔接設備、電氣設備、梯子等「其他設備」最高;以加害物而言,則以金屬材料等「物質物料」較高;經運用灰關聯分析的結果,間接原因之不安全行為中,以「未適當遵守操作程序」與事故發生的關聯性最高;不安全狀態中,以「有缺陷的工具或設備」關聯性最高;基本原因中,則以「缺乏知識」關聯性最高。基於研究結果,要提升某石油公司承攬商之安全衛生管理,管控發包數量與管理人力、調整查核與採購策略、加強設備或設施的檢查、強化安全觀察與安全教導等,乃本研究提出的首要策略。[[abstract]]Thisthesisaimstoidentifymajorfactorsattributedtocontractoraccidentsforapetroleumcorporationbyanalyzinghistoricalaccidentcasesbasedonthedescriptiveanalysisandgreyrelationalanalysis(GRA).Wefirstcollectedaccidentcasesfromapetroleumcorporationduring2011to2016andconductedadeliberateinvestigationandstatisticalanalysisontheaccidentmedium,thetimeofaccidentoccurrence,andaccidenttypesforeachstudycases.Then,theGRAapproachwasadoptedtoanalyzetherelationshipbetweenthecontractoraccidentsandthebasicaswellasindirectfactorsthatcausetheaccidents.Theresultsofourstudyshowthattheoccurrencetimesandfrequenciesofcontractoraccidentsbothareproportionaltocontractors’workinghours.Thehighestpercentageofaccidentsoccursatthetimeperiodbetween10a.m.to11a.m.“Fallsfromheight”havethehighestrateamongstaccidenttypes,followedby“fireaccidents”and“others.”Categorizedas“otherequipment,”weldingequipment,electricalequipment,andladdersarelistedamongtheleadingcausesofcontractoraccidents.“Substancematerials”suchasmetallicmaterialsarethemostcommonsubstancethatcausesinjuries.TheresultsfromGRAanalysisindicatethattheindirectcausesofunsafebehaviorsandunsafestatusare“failuretocomplywithoperatingprocedures”and“defectivetoolsorequipment”,respectively.“Lackofknowledge”isthebasiccauserelatedtothecontractoraccidents.Ourstudysuggeststheprimarystrategyforimprovingcontractors’safetyandhealthmanagementforapetroleumcorporationistocontrolthequantityofoutsourcingandcontractormanagement,adjusttheauditandprocurementstrategy,enhanceequipmentorfacilityinspection,andstrengthensafetyobservationandtraining

    In-situ Bioremediation of TPH-contaminated Soil Using a Fermented Blood

    [[abstract]]環保署統計資料顯示台灣土壤汙染中,油類汙染佔第二大量。油品汙染屬有機質,以節能及環境永續角色來看,適合生物處理。如為進一步避免因油品揮發造成二次污染,則現地生物復育技術是必然的選擇。惟一般土壤生物復育常以化學營養鹽做為促進生物活性手段,但因微生物生長仍需多種微量元素,是否有更優質生物促進劑,值得研發。本研究擬採用含有大量營養鹽廢棄豬血,經醱酵後成為生物促進劑,提供微生物所需要營養鹽,藉以提升土壤中油品處理效率。因此本研究目的包括:(1)決定最適處理廢棄豬血使其成為可用生物促進劑、(2)培育油品土壤中微生物做為生物添加之用、(3)開發以醱酵豬血所製成生物促進劑用於土壤油品復育的可行處理策略。本研究首先解決血液凝結及醱酵條件等問題,並以所得生物促進劑及油品污染土壤微生物,比較其降解土壤中油品效率。分析上,土壤油品以溶劑萃取後,以氣相層析儀配合火焰離子及質譜儀等兩種偵測器做定量及定性分析。實驗結果顯示:(1)當污泥/血液比例為1/3,溫度為37oC時,經60天醱酵後,可得廢棄豬血所做成生物促進劑,內含高濃度氮磷硫及鋅鐵鎂等金屬、(2)適度生物促進劑稀釋有其必要性:如太濃,則添加時易造成生物抑制性不利氧氣傳輸;如太淡,則易造成土壤中油品揮發。適當稀釋倍數約介於2,500-5,000倍之間、及(3)同時添加生物促進劑及油品污染土壤中微生物,可在兩週內,降解土壤中油品達80%。[[abstract]]TaiwanEPArevealsthatpetroleumoilcontaminationofsoilisthesecondbiggestpollutionofTaiwansoil.Oilproductsarepartoforganicsubstance,fromtheenergysavingandsustainabilitypointofview,theuseofbiologicalremediationisconsideredasaproperalternative.Tofurtheravoidthecontaminationduetothevolatilizationofsoiloils,theadoptionofin-situtreatmentisinevitable.However,thecommonlyusednutrientsforsoilmicrobesarechemicals,whichareknownoflockingsometracenutrientsforlong.Isthereanybetterbio-stimulantavailabledeservesmoreinvestigation.Inthisstudyweintenttousewastedpigbloodthatcontainsplentyofnutrientstomakebio-stimulantviafermentation.Thebio-stimulantwasgoingtobeusedintreatingsoilpetroleumoilstoenhancethebioremediationefficiency.Thustheobjectivesofthisstudyinclude:(1)todeterminethemostapplicablemeanofprocessingpigbloodtobeusedasabiostimulant,(2)toinoculatein-situmicrobesasthesourceforbio-augmentationpurpose,and(3)todevelopabeststrategyforachievingpilotandin-situbioremediationofoil-contaminatedsoil.Thestudyfirstlyresolvedthecoagulationproblemofbloodanddeterminedthefermentingconditions.Theobtainedbio-stimulantandmicrobesfromtheoil-contaminatedsoilwereusedintreatingthepetroleum-contaminatedsoil.Asforpetroleumcompoundanalysis,agaschromatographalongwithaflame-ionizeddetector(FID)andamassspectrometer(MS)wereusedforquantitativeandqualitativemeasurementpurposes.Theresultsdemonstrated:(1)Accordingtocumulativegasproduction,bloodfermentationfor60daysisconsideredsufficientasabiostimulantthatcontainsplentyofN,S,andP,alsometalslikeZn,Fe,andMg.(2)Certaindilutionofthefermentedbiostimulantwasdeemednecessary.IftoocondenseitcouldblockoxygenandinhibitthegrowthofTPHdegraders;contrarilyiftoodiluteitmightresultinvolatilizationofTPHs.A2500-5000Xdilutionofthebiostimulantappearedtobefeasible.And,(3)theadditionofsoilmicrobesfromanagedTPH-contaminatedsoilshowedbeneficial.TheTPHdegradationratereached80%intwoweeks

    Designing an Overseas Short-term English-as-a-Foreign-Language (EFL) Program for Japanese College Students in a Technological University of Taiwan

    [[abstract]]隨著全球化的快速發展,英語逐漸成為不同語言使用者在國際間通用的溝通及文化交流媒介。然而,使用英語作為溝通工具在母語非英語人士之間進行國際交流者占大多數,但卻少有研究著重在以英語為外語學習者,參與一個針對母語非英語人士之間的交流所設計之英語學習課程的影響以及學習成效。本研究主要目的為檢視一個短期學習課程設計的教學成效,並從兩方面作評估:(一)參與學生學習態度的轉變;(二)參與教授對於改進未來類似課程的看法。十一位來自日本的大學生,參與了台灣一所科技大學所舉辦為期九天的英語與華語跨文化學習課程。本研究分別執行課程調查問卷(包含前、後測)、課程滿意度評量及課後訪談。本研究之研究結果可歸納為以下三點:首先,透過參與此學習課程,學生的英語學習動機和自我認知語言能力皆有所提升。其次,日本和台灣的教授都肯定此學習課程之效益,但學生的整體表現仍待加強。最後,教授群為學習課程之進一步發展提供了一些建議,使學生能在以英語為外語之真實情境下使用語言,除了建立日本和台灣學生之間良好的互動關係,也得以促進彼此間的交流合作。根據以上結果,本研究進而提出適用於舉辦短期學習課程之方法。[[abstract]]Asglobalizationspeeds,Englishhasbeenacommoninternationalmediumofcommunicationandcultureexchangeamongspeakers.However,mostoftheinternationalcommunicationisconductedbetweennon-nativeEnglishspeakers(NNESs).FewstudieslookedintotheeffectsandlearningoutcomesofEnglishasaforeignlanguage(EFL)learnersinanon-nativeEnglishspeakerswithnon-nativeEnglishspeakers(NNESs-NNESs)studyprogram.Thepurposeofthestudyistoinvestigatetheteachingeffectivenessofashort-termprogramdesign,viewingfromthechangesofstudents’attitudesandinstructors’perceptionsforfutureimprovementsofsimilarprograms.Atotalnumberof11JapanesecollegestudentsjoinedEnglish/MandarinandCultureStudyProgram(EMCProgram)atatechnologicaluniversityinTaiwanforninedays.Fourinstrumentswereimplemented,includingpre-survey,post-survey,finalevaluation,andpost-programinterview.Threemajorfindingswereobtainedfromthestudy.First,thestudents’motivationandperceptionoflanguageinlearningEnglishhaveimprovedthroughparticipatingintheprogram.Second,theinstructorsofbothJapanandTaiwanconsideredtheprogrameffective,butthestudents’performancewasexpectedtobestrengthened.Third,somesuggestionswereprovidedforfurtherdevelopments,givingthestudentsgreaterauthenticitywhenusinglanguageinEFLcontextsandpromotingsocialinteractionsandcollaborationbetweenJapaneseandTaiwanesestudents.Finally,pedagogicalimplicationsandrecommendationsgroundedfromtheresultsprovidedapplicablemethodsfortheimplementationofshort-termstudyprograms

    Studying business sustainability attitude and course design

    [[abstract]]過去少數的研究提到將工業需求反映在高等教育中永續課程設計的議題。為了縮短就業銜接並提供學生更好的商業永續發展課程,我們提出概念圖的方法,以萃取產業界專業人士的意見與想法。執行概念圖法,首先我們邀請了14位專家進行專家一起討論該主題在企業永續性方面的重要性和困難,並獲得了52個關於企業永續的主題。接著,透過多元統計分析,取得了5個集群構面「環境品質」、「公司管理與勞工職安」、「企業永續經營」、「員工權益與社區經營」、「法規認識」。透過重要性分析,將這52個主題劃分為四類課程,「導論課程」、「基礎課程」、「進階課程」、「專題課程」。同時本研究探討學生對永續的態度是否提升,將企業永續議題增加到現有課程中進行實驗,分析結果部分的永續態度有所提升。關鍵字:永續態度、概念構圖、課程設計[[abstract]]Littleresearchinthepastaddressedtheissueofreflectingindustrialneedsintosustainability-relatedcurriculumdesigninhighereducationInordertonarrowthegapandtoprovidestudentswithbettercurriculumsinbusinesssustainability,weproposeimplementingconceptmappingtoextracttheopinionsandideasofindustrialprofessionals.Asthefirststepinconceptmapping,weinvited14industrialprofessionalstogethertobrainstormtheimportanceanddifficultyofthetopicsinbusinesssustainabilityandobtained52ones.Toextractthe52professionalopinionsintofactors,weconductedmultivariatestatisticalanalysisandachievedfiveclustersofvariablesasfactorswhichareenvironmentalquality,corporatemanagementandlaborsecurity,businesssustainablemanagement,employeerightsandcommunitymanagementandlegalawareness.Withtheimportance-performanceanalysis,wecanfurtherdividethe52variablesintofourkindsofcurriculumandtheyareclassifiedastheintroductorycourse,fundamentalcourse,advancedcourseandthematiccourse.Wefurther“added”businesssustainabilityintoanexistingcurriculumtoexperimentifstudentshavehigherattitudetowardsustainability.Wefoundthatsomeofthesustainabilityattitudesimprovedafteraddingbusinesssustainabilityintotheexistingcurriculum.Keywords:Sustainabilityattitude,Conceptmapping,Curriculumdesig

    [[abstract]]台灣在商業保險是一個非常成熟的市場,人壽保險投保率由2002年的143.7%至2016年已達240.35%,短短15年成長67.25%,根據保發中心於2017年6月所公布之統計資料得知,台灣在2016年人壽保險保費收入為79,627百萬美元,全球排名第九,但長照險的投保率在該年卻只有2%。以政府推動之長照社會保險來看,有財源和人力2個主要問題需要面對,且現行制度下給付不多,但未來保費卻偏貴等現象,這些都形成商業保險的機會,如何讓民眾對現有商業長照保險有正確之認識,能透過商業保險來填補人生未來須長期照顧之龐大財務缺口。本文希望讓國人對於長照之社保給付與商業保險皆能有正確了解,進而支持政府長照計畫且同時透過商業保險來弭補社保之不足,對國人與業務同仁皆能有所助益。摘要:長期護理保險、商業保險[[abstract]]Taiwanhasamaturecommercialinsurancemarket.Lifeinsurancecoverageratehasreachedto240.35%,whichisgrowing67.25%fromthe15years.BasedonareleasefromTaiwanInsuranceInstituteinJune2017,theincomefromlifeinsuranceis$79.627billionUSdollarsintheyearof2016,andthatistheninthhighestpremiuminthewholeworld.However,theratioofhavinglong-termcareinsurancecoverageisonly2%inthesameyear.Thegovernmentistryingtomakelong-termcareinsuranceanationalcare,buttwomajorproblemsexist-wheretogetthemoneyandwheretofindtheworkforce.Besides,thegovernment’slong-termcareinsurancedoesnothaveenoughpecuniaryindemnificationand,thepecuniaryindemnificationwillriseandtheywillbetooexpensive.Thesearechancesforcommercialinsurancetogrowandprofit.Peopleshouldknowmoreaboutcommerciallong-termcareinsurancetocoverthepotentialexpense.Thisarticleaimstohelppeopleunderstandhowcommercialandthegovernmenteditionoflong-termcareinsuranceswork.Bythat,thetwoinsurancesworktogethertobuildamoresecuredsociety.Keywords:long-termcareinsurance、commercialinsuranc
