Constructing of Sequence Diagrams by Means of TFM

    No full text
Transformation from model to model significantly facilitates the construction of software system structures. This paper offers the software system structure construction by means of topology which is borrowed from Topological Functioning Model (TFM). TFM uses mathematical foundations that holistically represent complete functionality of the problem and application domains and therefore can be used for software system structure construction. Application of TFM within software development process enables formal analysis of business system and formal designing of system structure. Software development begins with TFM creation. After construction of business system’s TFM by applying transformation on TFM a system structure is defined. As a basis for system structure definition is used problem domain object graph and sequence diagram. Sequence diagram is constructed with problem domain object graph and TFM

ANGIE: Adaptive Network for Granular Information and Evidence Processing

    No full text
In this paper the possibility of using adaptive networks in fuzzy-evidence-based decision support systems is considered. The architecture and learning algorithm underlying ANGIE (adaptive network for granular information processing) is presented. The proposed learning procedure helps in solving a task that can be related to sensitivity analysis in decision aid models. The proposed adaptive network can be used as a decision support system or as a tool for determining the significance and contribution of fuzzy features to the reaching of the desired value of the fuzzy criterion

Solar, Pellet Combisystem for Apartment Buildings

    No full text
The paper is based on a research project, where the main objective was the development of compact and optimized solar and pellet system for apartment building. The solar and pellet system is very compact and enclosed in one standard size shipping container. This allows easy installation procedures. The system was designed and optimized with dynamic simulation using TRNSYS. The limited space available in the container called as well as for an optimization study for the calculation of the volumes to be allocated for the pellet storage and for solar buffer tank. The pilot project carried out has been continuously monitored: building thermodynamic parameters, solar collector and pellet boiler energy outputs and site-specific weather conditions were all measured. In this paper the results of the simulation study are compared with the preliminary data collected from the monitoring system. It includes important consideration for tuning solar pellet systems for multifamily buildings

Interaction of Liquid and Heating Surface During Nucleate Boiling Processes

    No full text
The article deals with the problems of behavior of heating surfaces during liquids` boiling processes on ``boiling liquid – solid`` interfaces. Such processes are taking place in a lot of thermal engineering systems, example, heat tubes, steam generators, evaporators, cryogenic systems etc. Problems of solid heating surfaces and boiling liquids` interaction are an object for investigators for a long time, but still there are no full explanation both theoretically and experimentally found. The subject of article are the changes of mechanical properties and material structure of solid heating surface, caused by temperature fluctuations in superheated liquid and heating surface near single vapor bubble nucleate centers and beneath them. Experimental studies of heating surface properties in the vicinity of bubble boiling centers were carried out by using of different techniques, including metallography, surface microhardness analysis, optical method
