    Reproduktivni pokazatelji krava na farmi Poljoprivredno dobro „Rogatica”- Borike (1)

    Playing cattle in the modern livestock farming is a very important field of science and very complex primary production phase, where it has a direct impact on the creation of larger quantities of animal products (meat, milk). The aim of the research was to determine the basic reproductive traits in heifers and Simmental cows, which are grown on the farm of Agricultural good "Rogatica" Borike (RS). In the first part of this study analyzed the indicators for the 35 heifers, the first calving. Heifers are achieved average age at first conception of 18.92 months, or 567.6 days, which represents a satisfactory age at first fertilization. The average age of heifers at first calving was 28.41 months or 852 days. The average duration of first pregnancy rates amounted to 284.72 days. The ratio of male to female calves at first calving was 55.56% male: 44.44% female calves. On the basis of the set goal of research and study results, we can conclude that the analyzed reproductive parameters of cows at the farm "Rogatica" satisfactory.Reprodukcija goveda u savremenom stočarstvu predstavlja veoma značajnu oblast nauke i veoma složenu osnovnu fazu proizvodnje, gdje se direktno utiče na stvaranje veće količine animalnih proizvoda (mesa, mlijeka). Cilj istraživanja je bio utvrđivanje osnovnih reproduktivnih osobina kod junica i krava simentalske rase, koje se uzgajaju na farmi Poljoprivrednog dobra „Rogatica“ Borike (RS). U prvom dijelu ovog istraživanja obrađeni su pokazatelji za 35 junica, u prvom telenju. Junice su ostvarile prosječan uzrast pri prvoj oplodnji od 18,92 mjeseci ili 567,6 dana, što predstavlja zadovoljavajući uzrast kod prve oplodnje. Prosječan uzrast junica pri prvom telenju iznosio je 28,41 mjeseci ili 852 dana. Prosječno trajanje prve steonosti je iznosilo 284,72 dana. Odnos muške prema ženskoj teladi kod prvog telenja bio je 55,56% muške : 44,44% ženske teladi. Na osnovu postavljenog cilja istraživanja i dobijenih rezultata ispitivanja, može se zaključiti da su analizirani reproduktivni parametri krava na Poljoprivrednom dobru “Rogatica“ bili zadovoljavajući

    This paper presents the results of research on condition and needs for technical systems in livestock production in Serbia, based on results of agricultural census in year 2012. Findings in the filed of agricultural engineering, part that concerns on fodder production, concentrate feed production, cattle breeding, milk production, fattening beefs production, pig meat production, poultry and eggs production, are covered in this survey. This paper estimates current status regarding production volume, requirements and applied equipment in production processes abroad and domestically.     Antioxidant activity, total concentration of phenolic compounds and flavonoids were analyzed in water, methanol and ethyl acetate extracts of the species Petrorhagia saxifraga. Total concentration of phenolics ranged from 41,21 to 48,50 mg GA/g of the extract. The concentration of flavonoids varied from 24,64 to 69,67 mg RU/g of the extract. The greatest quantity of phenolic compounds was observed in the ethyl acetate extract, whereas the analyses showed that the methanolic extract contained the highest concentration of flavonoids. The values for antioxidant activity ranged from 874,56 to 672,33 µg/ml. The highest IC50 values were observed in the ethyl acetate extract.Antioksidativna aktivnost, količina ukupnih fenolnih jedinjenja i flavonoida analizirani su spektrofotometrijskim metodama u vodenom, metanolnom i etil acetatnom ekstraktu vrste Petrorhagia saxifraga (L.) Link (Caryophyllaceae). Količina ukupnih fenolnih jedinjenja je u opsegu od 41,21 do 48,50 mg GA/g ekstrakta. Koncentracija flavonoida je opsegu od 24,64 do 69,67 mg RU/g ekstrakta. Najveća količina ukupnih fenolnih jedinjenja izmerena je u etil acetatnom ekstraktu, dok je najveća količina flavonoida izmerena u metanolnom ekstraktu. Antioksidativna aktivnost je u opsegu od 874,56 do 672,33 µg/ml. Najvišu antioksidativnu aktivnost ispoljava etil acetatni ekstrakt, za koji je utvrđena i najveća količina ukupnih fenolnih jedinjenja

    Examination of Electron Transfer Mechanism of Cyanidin

    Cyanidin, as one important plant pigment, was theoretically (at M05-2X/6-311+G(d,p) level of theory) investigated for its ability to scavenge potentially, highly damaging hydroxyl radical. Free radical scavenging of cyanidin was studied through electron transfer mechanism – ET (the second step in SPLET mechanism) in water and ethanol, as solvents. Examination was performed using density functional theory (DFT) and Marcus theory. Based on the thermochemical and kinetic data, it is clear that O‒H group of cyanidin in position 3` is the most suitable for reaction with hydroxyl radical through mentioned antioxidant mechanism

    Experimental and Theoretical Study Of UV-Vis Spectra of Schiff Bases

    The UV-Vis properties of ten Schiff bases were systematically investigated. The time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) approach in combination with the B3LYP functional was used for simulation of UV-Vis spectra of examined compounds. The shapes of the Kohn-Sham molecular orbitals involved in electronic transitions were misleading. To provide better understanding of distribution of electron density natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis was used. NLMO clusters were constructed and they represent a part of a molecule characterized with eminent electron density. The TDDFT and NBO theories are complementary, and the results from these two approaches are combined to interpret the UV-Vis spectra

    Examination of Some Morphological Features of Domestic Populations of Flax (Linum Ustitassimum L.), in the Agro Ecological Conditions in Strumica, Republic of Macedonia

    The research was conducted in a period of two years (2007 and 2008) on five flax genotypes, 4 of which are domestic populations, intermediate (transitional) linen (velusina, duferin , belan , belinka) and an introduced french variety of fiber flax (viking). The number of seeds in the fruit, in both years of research, is statistically different among different varieties. In two years of testing , the lowest number of seeds in the fruit had population velusina (3,3 in 2007 and 3,5 in 2008), and the most number of seeds reached population duferin (5.5 in 2007 and 5.7 in 2008). There is a statistically valid difference for the number of fruits per flax plant among the tested varieties. The lowest number of fruits per plant had population belan (23,1 in 2007 and 24,8 in 2008), and the most had a variety viking (29,0 in 2007 and 29,3 in 2009). In the two years of research, the largest absolute mass of the seed had population velusina (6,8 g and 6,6 g respectively), and the lowest population belinka (4,1 g and 4,5 g respectively). Among the many varieties there are statistically significant differences. The highest average height, in the two-year research, regardless of the years of testing, had population belinka (78,9 cm), and the lowest population velusina (67,1 cm). The highest average seed yield per flax plant in the two-year research, regardless of the year of investigation, had viking variety (0,73 g), and the lowest population velusina population (0,55 g)

    Effect of NPK fertilizer and limestone on forage yield on natural meadow Nardetum strictae on Kopaonik, during 2008-2010 was investigated. The following treatments were applied: N0P0K0 , N60P60K60, N90P60k60, N120P60K60, N0P0K0 + lime, N60P60K60 + lime, N90P60k60 + lime, N120P60K60 + lime. Results showed that application of NPK fertilizer, especially N, increase significantly forage yield in both year of investigation. Effect of lime on increasing meadow production was observed in second year. The highest dry matter yield in first year was obtained in treatment with N120P60K60 (4,01 t ha-1) and in second year in treatment with N120P60K60+lime (5,79 t ha- 1 ).U periodu 2008-2010 godine ispitivan je uticaj NPK đubriva i kreča na prinos prirodnog travnjaka tipa Nardetum strictae na Kopaoniku. Unošenje mineralnih hraniva je uticalo na značajno povećanje prinosa krme u obe godine istraživanja. Rezultati su pokazali da povećanje količine N, pri konstantnoj količini PK đubriva, dovodi do povećanja prinosa u obe godine. Međutim, primenom kreča povećanje produktivnosti prirodnog travnjaka utvrđen je tek u drugoj godini. Maksimalan prinos suve materije u prvoj godini postignut je na tretmanu N120P60K60 (4,01 t ha-1), a u drugoj godini na tretmanu N120P60K60+kreč (5,79 t ha-1 )

    Antioksidativna aktivnost etanolnih ekstrakata Solanum Retroflexum

    In this paper the antioxidant activity of ethanolic extracts from Solanum retroflexum Dun fruits were investigated. The extracts were obtained by classical technique and by Soxhlet extraction. In order to investigate the possibilities of future utilization of Solanum retroflexum fruits, the antioxidant activity, by FRAP and DPPH method was determined. Results showed the extract obtained by 75% ethanol and classic extraction during 45 minutes at 60°C, had the highest antioxidant activity, both for DPPH and FRAP method (EC50 was 60,67 μg/mL and 1,55 μmol Fe2+/mg, respectively). There was good correlation of results for antioxidant activity obtained by both methods and for all analyzed extracts.Rad se bavi ispitivanjem antioksidativne aktivnosti etanolnih ekstrakata ploda biljke Solanum retroflexum Dun. Ekstrakti su dobijeni tehnikama klasične i Soxhlet extrakcije. Potencijalna antioksidativna aktivnost je ispitana FRAP i DPPH metodama. Rezultati su pokazali da ekstrakt dobijen klasičnom ekstrakcijom sa 75% rastvorom etanola na 60°C i za vreme 45 minuta, ima najveću antioksidativnu aktivnost (EC50 = 60,67 μg/ml, 1,55 μmol Fe2+/mg), kao i da postoji dobra korelacija rezultata dobijenih obema metodama u slučaju svih analiziranih ekstrakata
