Demountable connections between steel and reinforced concrete elements with mechanical couplers under combined shear and tension loads
Primena spregnutih i mešovitih konstrukcija od čelika i betona u savremenoj građevinskoj
praksi proistekla je iz težnje ka racionalnijoj upotrebi čelika i betona, kao i skraćenju vremena i
smanjenju troškova izgradnje građevinskih objekata kao što su poslovne zgrade, garaže, mostovi i
sl. Savremeni trendovi u građevinarstvu, koji su usmereni ka održivom razvoju i primeni principa
cirkularne ekonomije, nameću mogućnost demontaže konstruktivnih elemenata kao dodatni
projektni zahtev za spregnute i mešovite konstrukcije. Upotreba prefabrikovanih armiranobetonskih
(AB) elemenata i demontažnih konektora sa mehaničkom spojnicom i armaturnim ankerom za vezu
sa čeličnim elementom predstavljaju jedno od mogućih rešenja kojim se unapređuje održivost
građevinskih konstrukcija. Spoj između čeličnog i armiranobetonskog elementa na gradilištu
ostvaruje se pomoću kratkog demontažnog zavrtnja koji se vezuje za mehaničku spojnicu,
prethodno ubetoniranu sa armaturnim ankerom u prefabrikovani AB element. Tom prilikom,
površina AB elementa na mestu spoja je ravna pa primena ovakvog tipa konektora omogućava
jednostavniju demontažu u poređenju sa primenom ostalih tipova demontažnih konektora. Takođe,
pravilnim oblikovanjem spoja sa mehaničkim spojnicama omogućava se potencijalna ponovna
upotreba svih komponenata spoja na kraju „prvog upotrebnog veka“.
Iako je njihova primena u savremenoj građevinskoj praksi rasprostranjena, ponašanje
konektora sa zavrtnjem, mehaničkom spojnicom i armaturnim ankerom pri dejstvu sile smicanja,
sile zatezanja i njihove interakcije još uvek nije dovoljno istraženo. Adekvatna analiza ovakvog
konektora treba da obuhvati sve moguće vidove loma pri proizvoljnom opterećenju, uključujući sve
moguće vidove loma betona i vidove loma konektora. Pri tome, ponašanje konektora sa
mehaničkom spojnicom je složenije od ponašanja ostalih tipova konektora jer se konektor sastoji od
tri elementa koji imaju različite geometrijske karakteristike i mehaničke karakteristike materijala. U
savremenim tehničkim normama i smernicama, nosivost konektora sa mehaničkom spojnicom
određuje se na osnovu analogije sa tradicionalnim tipovima spojnih sredstava za beton, sa
konstantnim poprečnim presekom duž konektora. Skorašnja istraživanja pokazala su da ovakva
aproksimacija može rezultovati značajnim odstupanjima od realnog ponašanja ovakvog konektora.
Istraživanje u ovoj doktorskoj disertaciji obuhvata eksperimentalnu i numeričku analizu spoja
sa mehaničkim spojnicama pri dejstvu sile smicanja, pri dejstvu sile zatezanja i pri kombinovanom
dejstvu sila smicanja i zatezanja. Analizirano je ponašanje samostalnih konektora u spoju, bez
uticaja međusobnog rastojanja pojedinačnih konektora na nosivost i deformabilnost spoja. Posebna
pažnja posvećena je ponašanju i nosivosti konektora sa mehaničkom spojnicom sa malim
rastojanjem konektora od ivice AB elementa odnosno u uslovima koji odgovaraju spojevima
čeličnih elemenata sa AB elementima ograničenih dimenzija na mestu spoja.
Prvi deo eksperimentalnog istraživanja obuhvatio je ispitivanje ponašanja i nosivosti
samostalnih konektora pri dejstvu sile smicanja. Ispitivanje je izvršeno primenom „push-out“ testa,
u skladu sa preporukama standarda EN 1994-1-1 (CEN, 2004). U sopstvenom eksperimentalnom
istraživanju varirana je srednja vrednost čvrstoće betona pri pritisku (f cm = 28-38 MPa), rastojanje
konektora od ivice AB elementa (c = 75 mm i c = 150 mm) i tip oslonaca na koje su uzorci
oslonjeni (pokretni oslonci i oslonci na sloju gipsa). Razmatrani su samo konektori sa M20
zavrtnjem. Rezultati ispitivanja dopunili su postojeću bazu podataka o nosivosti i ponašanju
ovakvog spoja koja obuhvata, pored pomenutih parametara, i različite prečnike konektora sa
zavrtnjem M16 i M20 (Milosavljević, 2014). Pri tome, uzorci sa rastojanjem konektora od ivice AB
elementa c = 75 mm imalu su konektore sa M16 zavrtnjem (nije razmatran uticaj različitog prečnika
konektora).

Drugi deo eksperimentalnog istraživanja usmeren je na ispitivanje ponašanja i nosivosti
samostalnih konektora pri dejstvu sile zatezanja primenom „pull-out“ testa. U svim slučajevima,
konektor se nalazio blizu ivice AB elementa (c = 75 mm) a variran je prečnik konektora (sa M16 i
M20 zavrtnjem) i srednja vrednost čvrstoće betona (f cm = 28-38 MPa). Pored ispitivanja ponašanja
spoja, ispitano je i ponašanje neubetoniranih konektora sa M16 i M20 zavrtnjem pri zatezanju kako
bi se analiziralo lokalno ponašanje svih elemenata konektora i njihovih međusobnih veza.
Treći, glavni, deo eksperimentalnog istraživanja obuhvatio je ispitivanje ponašanja i nosivosti
samostalnih konektora pri interakciji sila smicanja i zatezanja. Ispitivanje je izvršeno primenom
modifikovanog „push-out“ testa. U ovom delu istraživanja variran je prečnik konektora (sa
zavrtnjem M16 i M20), rastojanje konektora od ivice AB elementa (c = 75 mm i c = 150 mm),
čvrstoća betona (f cm = 28-38 MPa) i intenzitet aplicirane sile zatezanja (T = 0-100 kN).
Na osnovu rezultata eksperimentalnog istraživanja formirani su numerički nelinearni modeli
spoja sa konektorom koji ima M20 zavrtanj, odgovarajuću mehaničku spojnicu i armaturni anker u
programskom paketu Abaqus/Explicit. Numerički modeli obuhvatili su plastifikaciju i oštećenje
komponentalnih materijala. Validacijom numeričkih modela pokazano je dobro poklapanje sa
rezultatima eksperimentalnog istraživanja. Ovi modeli iskorišćeni su za numeričku parametarsku
analizu u kojoj su varirani: rastojanje konektora od ivice AB elementa (c = 75-200 mm), čvrstoća
betona (f cm = 28-58 MPa), nosivost armaturnog ankera na zatezanje (Tu,a = 133-200 kN) i intenzitet
aplicirane sile zatezanja (T = 0-134 kN).
Rezultati eksperimentalne i numeričke analize pokazali su da ponašanje i nosivost konektora
značajno zavisi od prečnika konektora, rastojanja konektora od ivice AB elementa i intenziteta
aplicirane sile zatezanja. Lom spoja nastao je usled sledećih vidova loma: (i) loma demontažnog
zavrtnja pri čistom smicanju i pri interakciji smicanja i zatezanja, (ii) loma i mehaničke spojnice pri
smicanju i pri interakciji smicanja i zatezanja (iii) loma armaturnog ankera (veze ankera i spojnice)
pri čistom zatezanju, i (iv) loma betona u blizini ivice AB elementa pri čistom smicanju i pri
interakciji smicanja i zatezanja. Uporednom analizom pokazano je da trenutno važeće tehničke
norme i smernice za projektovanje spojeva sa mehaničkim spojnicama u pojedinim slučajevima
imaju značajna odstupanja od rezultata istraživanja sprovedenog u ovoj doktorskoj disertaciji. Ovo
se pre svega odnosi na nosivost konektora pri lomu betona u blizini ivice AB elementa, nosivost
mehaničke spojnice i nosivost demontažnog zavrtnja pri interakciji smicanja i zatezanja. Stoga,
predloženi su novi predikcioni modeli za određivanje nosivosti ovih komponenata spoja. Rezultati
analize ovih modela imaju dobra poklapanja sa rezultatima eksperimentalne i numeričke analize.
Predloženi predikcioni modeli za određivanje nosivosti demontažnih konektora sa mehaničkom
spojnicom i armaturnim ankerom, kao i preporuke za projektovanje formulisani su tako da su u
saglasnosti sa, trenutno važećim, evropskim standardom za projektovanje spojnih sredstava za
beton EN 1992-4 (CEN, 2018)The use of composite and mixed steel-concrete structures in contemporary structural building
practice arose from the desire for optimal usage of steel and concrete, as well as to reduce the
construction time and costs of building structures such as office buildings, garages, bridges, etc.
Modern trends in construction industry, which are focused on sustainable design and circular
economy, impose the possibility of disassembly of structural elements as an additional design
objective for composite and mixed structures. The use of prefabricated reinforced concrete (RC)
elements and demountable bolted connectors with mechanical coupler and rebar anchor represent
one of the possible solutions towards more sustainable design of building structures. The connection
between steel and reinforced concrete on site is achieved by connecting short demountable bolt to
previously embedded mechanical coupler and rebar anchor in precast RC element. In this type of
connection, the concrete surface is flat and, therefore, the use of demountable connectors enables
easer disassembly compared to the use of other types demountable connectors. Furthermore,
potential reuse of all connection components can be achieved after the “End-of-First-Use” by
adequate design of the connection with mechanical couplers.
Over the last 15 years, bolted connectors with mechanical coupler and rebar anchor are more
widely used in contemporary structural practice. However, their behaviour under shear load, under
tension load and under combined shear and tension loads is still insufficiently known. The adequate
design of this type of connector needs to include all possible failure modes under arbitrary loads,
including all possibly concrete failure modes and failure modes of connector components. In this
regard, the behaviour of bolted connector with mechanical coupler is more complex than the
behaviour of other types of connectors. The reason lies in the fact that this type of connector is
comprised of three components with different geometrical characteristics and mechanical
characteristics of steel. In contemporary design codes and recommendations, the resistance of
bolted connectors with mechanical coupler is determined by using the analogy with the traditional
type of connectors, with constant diameter over the connector length. Recent studies have shown
that this approximation can result in large deviations from the real behaviour of bolted connectors
with mechanical coupler.
The research presented in this doctoral dissertation covers experimental and numerical
analysis of the connection with mechanical couplers under shear load, under tension load and under
combined shear and tension loads. The behaviour of single connector is analysed, without the
influence of spacing of the connectors within the connection on the resistance, stiffness and
ductility. The research is mainly focused on the behaviour and resistance of bolted connectors with
mechanical couplers located close to the concrete edge i.e., in situations where RC elements have
limited dimensions at the location of the connection.
The first part of experimental research focuses on the analysis of the behaviour and resistance
of single connectors under shear load. Experimental tests were conducted using “push-out” tests
according to recommendations given in EN 1994-1-1 (CEN, 2004). Mean concrete strength (f cm =
28-38 MPa), concrete edge distance (c = 75 mm and c = 150 mm) and support type (roller and
gypsum supports) were varied. Only the connectors with M20 bolts were analysed. Research results
have extended the existing database of resistance and behaviour this type of the connector
(Milosavljević, 2014). Apart from the above-mentioned parameters, the existing database covers the
results for different connector diameters with M16 and M20 bolts. In this regard, only specimens
with concrete edge distance c = 75 mm and M16 bolts were analysed.

The second part of experimental research focuses on the testing of the behaviour and
resistance of single connectors under tension load in “pull-out” tests. In all tests, the connector was
located close to the concrete edge (c = 75 mm), while the connector diameter (with M16 and M20
bolts) and mean concrete strength (f cm = 28-38 MPa) were varied. In addition, tensile behaviour of
“in-air” specimens with M16 and M20 bolts was analysed, in order to closely establish the local
behaviour of connector components as well as component connections.
The third and the main part of experimental research focuses on the analysis of the behaviour
and resistance of single connectors under combined shear and tension loads. Tests were conducted
using the modified “push-out” test. In this part of research, the connector diameter (with M16 and
M20 bolts), concrete edge distance (c = 75 mm and c = 150 mm), mean concrete strength (f cm = 28-
38 MPa) and the level of the applied tension force were varied.
Based on the experimental test results, the nonlinear finite element models with M20 bolts
and corresponding coupler and rebar anchor were constructed and calibrated using software
Abaqus/Explicit, which included plasticity and damage of component materials. The validation of
numerical models showed good agreement with experimental test results. These models were used
for numerical parametric study which included the variation of concrete edge distance (c = 75-200
mm), mean concrete strength (f cm = 28-58 MPa), tensile resistance of rebar anchor (Tu,a = 133-200
kN) and the level of applied tension force (T = 0-134 kN).
The results of experimental and numerical research have shown that the behaviour and
resistance of the connector highly depends on the connector diameter, concrete edge distance and
the level of the applied tension force. Different failure modes of the connection were detected: (i)
bolt failure under shear load and under combined loads, (ii) mechanical coupler failure under shear
load and under combined loads, (iii) rebar anchor failure (anchor-coupler connection) under tension
load, and (iv) concrete edge failure under shear load and under combined loads. The comparative
analysis has shown that, in most cases, the prediction equations for resistance of the connector from
technical codes and guidelines give significant deviations from the resistance determined in tests
and numerical analysis. This conclusion mostly applies for the concrete edge resistance, mechanical
coupler resistance and bolt resistance under combined shear and tension loads. Therefore, a new
prediction models for calculating the resistance of these components were developed. These models
have good agreements with experimental and numerical results. The calculation models for
resistance of bolted connector with mechanical coupler and rebar anchor as well as the design
recommendations are formulated in form which is suitable for inclusion in current European design
codes for design of fastenings for use in concrete EN 1992-4 (CEN, 2018
Materials with increased erosion resistance exposed to extreme working conditions at Thermal Power Plants

necessary to carry out a detailed characterization of the material and testing with different
methods, with special reference to experimental tests in conditions that simulate working

determining the optimal initial state of the material, represent the basis for the correct

ugradnju pravilno projektovanog materijala. Pri jednom takvom izboru potrebno je izvršiti
detaljnu karakterizaciju materijala i ispitivanje različitim metodama sa posebnim osvrtom na
eksperimentalna ispitivanja u uslovima koji simuliraju radne uslove. Ovakva ispitivanja, uz
dodatnu mogućnost izvođenja ispitivanja in-situ i uz određivanje optimalnog polaznog stanja
materijala, predstavljaju osnovu pravilnog izbora, izrade i ugradnje projektovanog materijala..
The influence of metabolic disorders on the appearance of coronary artery calcifications in persons with prediabetes and without coronary syndrome
Uvod i cilj: Predijabetes je kardiometaboličko stanje, sa visokim rizikom za kardiovaskularni događaj. Teško je kod ove populacije predvideti rizik od razvoja aterosklerotičnih kardiovaskularnih bolesti.Cilj ove studije je bio da proceni faktore rizika iz svakodnevne kliničke prakse i uticaj na razvoj kalcifikacija koronarnih arterija (CAC).
Metod: U studiju je uključeno 100 ispitanika sa novootkrivenim predijabetesom bez pratećih kardiovaskularnih bolesti. Vrednosti glukoze, insulina i c-peptida su određene pre i dva sata posle glukoza tolerans testa (OGTT) kod adekvatno pripremljenih ispitanika. Određeni su lipidi, HbA1c, kreatinin i mokraćna kiselina. Nakon toga su upućeni na multislajsnu kompjuterizovanu tomografiju (MSCT) radi određivanja skora kalcijuma u koronarnim arterijama (CACS).
Rezultati: Od ukupnog broja ispitanika, njih 59,0% je imalo kalcifikacije na koronarnim arterijama, od toga kod 25 ispitanika bile su prisutne ozbiljne kalcifikacije (CACS≥ 100 AU). Svi su bili u proseku povećane telesne mase (ITM 29,23±4,5kg/m2). Ispitanici koji su bili aktivni pušači imali su izraženije kalcifikacije na koronarnim arterijama (42% CACS> 100 AU). Ispitanici sa pozitivnom porodičnom anamnezom za T2D imali su povećano prisustvo kalcifikacije na koronarnim arterijama, blizu statističe značajnosti. Svi ispitanici imali su tipičnu dislipidemiiju, viši nivo TGL od preporučenih za ovu grupu ispitanika (≤1,7 mmol/L), takođe i LDL-C (≤2,4 mmol/L) i non-HDL-C (≤2,6 mmol/L). Povišene vrednosti glikemije našte (IFG > 6.1mmol/L) registrovane su kod više od 80% ispitanika. Najviše je bilo ispitanika (66) sa oba poremećaja (IFG + IGT grupa). U IFG grupi, najviše je bilo ispitanika sa umerenim kalcifikacijama na koronarnim arterijama (12), dok je čak 7 imalo CACS preko 100 AU. Svi naši ispitanici su imali insulinsku rezistenciju, HOMA-IR 2,5±2,3 Prosečna vrednost HOMA-B je iznosila 59,29±45,75 %, što je ukazivalo na očuvanu funkciju beta ćelija pankreasa. Kod svih ispitanika sa prisutnim koronarnim arterijskim kalcifikacijama bio je prisutan klaster povišenih vrednosti HOMA-IR, LDL-C i TGL.
Zaključak: Kalcifikacije koronarnih arterija su se sa značajnom učestalošću javljale kod ispitanika sa novootkrivenim predijabetesom. Kod ispitanika je dominirala insulinska rezistencija, kao izvorni poremećaj. Na osnovu vrednosti izolovanih biohemijskih parametara, ne može se odrediti rizik za postojanje kalcifikacija koronarnih arterija kod osoba sa predijabetesom, ali ukoliko su sa porodičnom predispozicijom, aktivni pušači, sa ITM ≥ 24.9kg/m2 trebamo posmatrati kao visoko rizične za prisustvo koronarnih arterijskih kalcifikacija.Introduction and objective: Prediabetes is a cardiometabolic condition, with a high risk for a cardiovascular event. It is difficult to predict the risk of development of atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases in this population. The aim of this study was to assess whether common biochemical analysis from daily clinical practice can predict the presence of coronary artery calcifications (CAC).
Method: The study included 100 subjects with newly diagnosed prediabetes without accompanying cardiovascular diseases. Glucose, insulin and c-peptide values were determined before and two hours after the oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) in adequately prepared subjects. Lipid status, HbA1c, creatinine and uric acid were determined. After that, they were referred for multislice computed tomography (MSCT) to determine the coronary artery calcium score (CACS).
Results: Of the total number of subjects, 59.0% had calcifications on the coronary arteries. Twentyfive subjects had severe calcifications (CACS≥ 100 AU). All subjects were on average overweight (BMI 29.23±4.5kg/m2). Subjects who were active smokers had more prominent coronary artery calcifications (42% CACS > 100 AU). Subjects with a positive family history of T2D had increased presence of coronary artery calcification approaching statistical significance. All subjects had typical dyslipidemia, a higher level of TGL than recommended (≤1.7 mmol/L), also LDL-C (≤2.4 mmol/L) and non-HDL-C (≤2, 6 mmol/L). Elevated fasting blood glucose values (IFG > 6.1 mmol/L) were registered in more than 80% of subjects. Majority of subjects (66) were with both disorders (IFG + IGT group). In the IFG group, most subjects had moderate calcifications on the coronary arteries (12), while as many as 7 had CACS over 100 AU. All our subjects had insulin resistance, HOMA-IR 2.5±2.3. The average value of HOMA-B was 59.29±45.75%, which indicated the preserved function of pancreatic beta cells. A cluster of elevated HOMA-IR, LDL-C and TGL values was present in all subjects with coronary artery calcification.
Conclusion: Coronary artery calcifications occurred with significant frequency in subjects with newly diagnosed prediabetes. In the subjects, insulin resistance dominated, as the original disorder. The risk for the existence of coronary artery calcifications in people with prediabetes cannot be determined solely based on the values of isolated biochemical parameters, but if they are active smokers, with a BMI ≥ 24.9kg/m2, and with a family predisposition to T2D, we should consider them at high-risk for the presence of coronary artery calcifications
The influence of the addition of different types of biomass on changes in energy and ecological characteristics of Berley type tobacco stalk briquettes
Stabljike duvana koje ostaju nakon berbe listova imaju značajan udeo u ukupnoj količini poljoprivredne biomase. Iako se u Srbiji sprovode sve ozbiljnija istraživanja, još uvek se ne promoviše njihova upotreba kao biogoriva, pre svega iz ekoloških razloga, jer još nisu istraženi proizvodi njihovog sagorevanja.
Stoga je cilj ovog istraživanja bio, pre svega, utvrđivanje sastava produkata sagorevanja a zatim i elementarnog sastava, sadržaja pepela, nikotina i toplotne moći 5 vrsta briketa koji su napravljeni mešanjem stabljika duvana sa drugim vrstama biomase (ostaci glava suncokreta, pšenična slama, oklasak kukuruza, sojina stabljika i piljevina drveta bukve), u odnosu 50:50 po masi, bez dodavanja ikakvih vezivnih sredstava. Cilj je bio i ustanoviti može li mešanje duvanskih stabljika s drugim vrstama biomase poboljšati njihova tehnološka svojstva.
Utvrđeno je da toplotna moć svih analiziranih briketa ima prihvatljive vrednosti prema standardu SRPS EN ISO 17225-2:2021. Svi briketi ispunjavaju ekološke kriterijume u pogledu ograničenja emisije azotnih oksida, sumpor-dioksida, ugljen-dioksida i ugljen-monoksida u skladu sa Uredbom o graničnim vrednostima zagađujućih materija u vazduhu. Osim toga, emisija policikličnih aromatičnih ugljovodonika je smanjena kod mešanih briketa u odnosu na pojedinačne biomase. Sadržaj nikotina u produktima sagorevanja manji je od 10mg/kg, što je daleko ispod propisanih vrednosti Evropske unije. Analizom pepela nastalog sagorevanjem briketa utvrđen je sadržaj makro- i mikro-elemenata i zaključeno je da se pepeo može koristiti kao dodatak osnovnom đubrivu. Mešanje duvanskih stabljika s drugim vrstama biomase poboljšalo je njihov energetski i ekološki profil. Najbolje karakteristike pokazala je mešavina duvanska stabljika-piljevina drveta bukve.Tobacco stalks that remain after harvesting leaves represent a significant part of the total amount of agricultural biomass. Although serious investigations are conducted in Serbia to an increasing extent, the use of these remnants as biofuel is still not promoted, predominantly due to environmental issues, since their combustion products are insufficiently investigated.
Thus the aim of this investigation was, in the first place, to establish the composition of the combustion products and then the elementary composition, the amount of ash, nicotine, and the calorific value of five kinds of briquettes, produced by mixing tobacco stalks with other kinds of biomass (remains of sunflower stovers, wheat straw, corncob, soy straw, and beech saw-dust) in the mass ratio 50:50, without adding any binding agents. The goal was to check if mixing tobacco stalks with other kinds of biomass can improve their technological properties.
It was established that the calorific value of all of the analyzed briquettes exhibits acceptable values according to the SRPS EN ISO 17225-2:2021 standard. All the briquettes satisfy the environmental criteria with regard to emission limitations of nitrous oxides, sulfur oxides, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide in accordance with the Regulation on Limiting Values of Polluting Substances in the Air. In addition, the emission of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons is reduced in mixed briquettes compared to individual biomasses. The amount of nicotine in combustion products is below 10 mg/kg, which is far below the mandatory values in the European Union. The analysis of ash remaining after the briquettes' combustion has shown that its contains macro and micro-elements which concluded that ash can be used as an admixture to the main fertilizer. Mixing tobacco stalks with other types of biomass has improved the energetic and environmental profile. The best characteristics were obtained by the mixture of tobacco stalks with beech saw-dust

Iz tog razloga, fenomen brendiranja fakulteta dobija sve više na važnosti. Brendiranje fakulteta nije samo poslovna taktika; ono predstavlja složen proces izgradnje identiteta i prepoznatljivosti fakulteta koji se temelji na vrednostima i obećanjima koje fakultet pruža svojim studentima, a oni uzvraćuju svojom lojalnošću. Zato brendiranje predstavlja jednu dublju težnju da se stvori zajednica koja omogućava studentima da rastu ne samo akademski, već profesionalno i lično. Dok studenti tragaju za obrazovanjem koje će ih pripremiti za uspešne karijere, fakulteti koji uspešno grade svoj brend su prepoznali da je obrazovanje samo deo jednačine. Vrednosti kao što su lični rast i razvoj, sticanje relevantnih veština, negovanje društvenih vrednosti i kreiranje inspirativnog okruženja možemo da klasifikujemo na instrumentalne, intrinzičke, društveno-odgovorne i one dodatne vrednosti. Zbog svega navedenog, nameću se pitanja kako fakultet može da se izdvoji među mnogobrojnim visokoobrazovnim institucijama, koje vrednosti treba da promoviše i na koji način može da dođe do njih.
Kako bismo pokušali da odgovorimo na ova pitanja, u teorijskom delu smo opisali evoluciju univerziteta kao visokoobrazovne institucije, tražeći vrednosti na kojima su izgrađeni savremeni koncepti fakulteta. Poseban deo doktorske disertacije je posvećenom fenomenu brendiranja i njegovim karakteristikama, dok poseban akcenat stavljamo na vrednosti brenda. Istražili smo i trenutnu praksu u polju brendiranja, te se u jednom delu bavimo međunarodnim i domaćim modelima upravljanja obrazovnim brendom. Da bismo utvrdili specifičnosti brenda u visokom obrazovanju i kreirali model brendiranja prilagođenog visokoobrazovnim institucijama, koristili smo mešovit pristup istraživanja. Osnovu specifikuma brenda visokoobrazovne institucije čini mišljenje studenata koje smo dobili tehnikom anketiranja. Udeo aktivnosti operativnih modela menadžmenta u procesu brendiranja fakulteta čini mišljenje članova uprava različitih fakulteta zaduženih za marketing koje smo dobili tehnikom intervjuisanja.
U analizi mišljenja studenata, utvrdili smo da studenti smatraju da se brend fakulteta prvenstveno treba graditi na instrumentalnim, potom intrinzičkim, društveno-odgovornim, pa tek na dodatnim vrednostima. Za studente, deset najznačajnijih vrednosti na kojima fakultet može da razvija svoj brend su sledeće: primena naučenog u radnom okruženju, međunarodne profesionalne kvalifikacije, savremeni sadržaj i nova tehnologija, pomoć u savladavanju intelektualnih izazova, podsticanje kreativnosti i autonomije kod studenata, razvoj osećaja ponosa kod studenata jer su deo fakulteta, pozitivan uticaj na ponašanje studenata, dobra reputacija fakulteta, upoznavanje ljudi sličnih interesovanja i sticenja relevantnog radnog iskustva pre završetka studija. Dobijeni rezultati su takođe pokazali da su vrednosti najbitnija karakteristika brenda u obrazovnim uslugama, a da se kroz njihovu manifestaciju razvijaju ostale karakteristike brenda: identitet, prepoznatljivost i lojalnost. Članovi uprave zadužene za marketing su ukazali na različite perspektive i izazove sa kojima se suočavaju u procesu brendiranja svojih fakulteta. Međutim, akcenat najviše stavljaju na unapređenju komunikacije sa studentima, unapređenju saradnje sa ostalim fakultetima, kreiranju alumni baze, većoj promociji fakulteta kroz direktan kontakt sa studentima i integraciji tradicionalnog marketinga i digitalnih medija. Na osnovu analize literature, mišljenja studenata i članova uprava fakulteta zadužene za marketing, kreirali smo predlog modela brendiranja visokoobrazovne institucije koji se sastoji od pet koraka: idenfitikovanje vrednosti brenda fakulteta, utvrđivanje pozicije brenda fakulteta, kreiranje strategija koje podržavaju razvoj identifikovanih vrednosti brenda, implementacija i oraćenje razvoja vrednosti koje predstavljaju brend fakulteta i evaluacija i održavanje razvijenih vrednosti brenda fakulteta. Predstavljeni model brendiranja je cikličan proces koji treba da posluži svim fakultetima kao polazna osnova za put brendiranja. U zavisnosti od cilja konkretne faze, često će dolaziti do preklapanja modela operativnih menadžmenta u realizaciji konkretnih aktivnosti.In a world where education is seen as a valuable investment in the future, faculties are facing increasing pressure to attract the best students. In this context, the concepts of quality, popularity and prestige become significant factors in the choice of university, because today we have various educational services at our disposal. In addition to vying for students attention, faculties face the need to build a strong identity that reflects authentic values. For this reason, the phenomenon of faculty branding is gaining more importance. Faculty branding is not just a business tactic; it represents a complex process of building the identity and recognition of the faculty, based on values and promises the faculty provides to its students, reciprocated with their loyalty. Therefore, branding represents a deeper aspiration to create a community that allows studens to grow not only academically, but professionally and personally. As students seek an education that will prepare them for successful careers, faculties that are successfully branding themselves have recognized that education is only part of the equation. Values such as personal growth and development, acquisition of relevant skills, fostering social values, and creating an inspiring environment can be classified into instrumental, intrinsic, socially responsible, and additional values. Due to all of the above, questions arise as to how the faculty can stand out among numerous higher education institutions, what values it should promote and how it can achieve them.
In order to attempt to answer these questions, the theoretical part describes the evolution of the university as higher education institutin, searching for the values on which modern faculty concepts are built. A special section of the doctoral dissertation is dedicated to the phenomenon of branding and its characteristics, with special emphasis on brand values. We also researched the current practice in the field of branding, and in one part we deal with international and domestic models of educational brand management. In order to determine the specifics of the brand in higher education and create a branding model adapted to higher education institutions, we used a mixed research approach. The basis of the specifics of the brand of the higher education institution is the opinion of the students, which we obtained using the survey technique. The share of the activities of the operational management models in the faculty branding process is the opinion of the management members of various faculties in charge of marketing, which we obtained through the interviewing technique.
In the analysis of students’ opinions, we found that students believe the faculty’s brand should primarily be built on instrumental, followed by intrinsic, socially responsible values, and only then on additional values. For students the ten most importan values on which facultz can develop its brand are the following: application of what has been learned in the working environment, international professional qualifications, modern content and new technology, help in overcoming intellectual challenges, encouragin creativity and autonomy in students, developing a sense of pride in students because they are part of the faculty, positive influence on student behavior, good reputation of the faculty, meeting people with similar interests and gaining relevant work experience before completing studies. The obtained results also indicate that values are the most important characteristic of the brand in educational services, and that through their manifestation other brand characteristics develop: identity, recognition and loyalty. Members of the administration in charge of marketing emphasized different perspectives and challenges they face in the faculty branding process. However, they put the most emphasis on improving communication with students, improving cooperation with other faculties, creating an alumni base, greater promotion of the faculty through direct contat with students and the integration of traditional marketing and digital media. Based on the analysis of the literature, student opinions and faculty management’s views on branding and marketing, we propose a branding model for higher education institution consisting of five steps: identifying the brand value of the faculty, determining the position of the brand of the faculty, creating strategies that support the development of the identified brand values, implementation and development of the values that represent the brand of the faculty and evaluation and maintenance of the developed values of the faculty’s brand. The presented branding model is a cyclical process that should serve all faculties as a starting point in the branding journey. Uterine scar in different cesarean section techniques
Uvod: carski rez (CR) je najčešća operacija kod žena u reproduktivnom dobu. Zbog svoje učestalosti, svaki uticaj CR na zdravlje žene ima veliki klinički, ekonomski i društveni značaj. Hronične komplikacije CR postaju značajan deo morbiditeta pacijentkinja posle CR. Osnova za njihov nastanak je niša u ožiljku od CR. Istraživanja su usmerena na prepoznavanje elemenata operativne tehnike kojima bi moglo da se utiče na učestalost i veličinu niše. Ciljevi: uporediti učestalost hroničnih komplikacija CR (rupture materice - RM, dehiscencije ožiljka - DO i histerektomije zbog placenta akreta spektra - PAS) i karakteristike ožiljaka na materici između tehnika histerorafije koje se primenjuju na Klinici za ginekologiju i akušerstvo Univerzitetskog kliničkog centra Vojvodine (UKCV). Materijal i metode: retrospektivnim segmentom je analizirana serija slučajeva RM, DO i PAS i ispitana učestalost u odnosu na tehniku histerorafije za period 2008-2022. godine. Prospektivnim segmentom je analizirana debljina ožiljka, kao i histološka građa 147 uzoraka ožiljka materice koji su bili podeljeni u tri grupe u odnosu na tehniku histerorafije na prethodnom carskom rezu:grupa A – histerorafija modifikovanom tehnikom po Vejnoviću; grupa B – jednoslojno šivenje sa zaključavanjem; grupa C – dvoslojno šivenje. Merenja i prikupljanje uzorka je vršeno intraoperativno, kod pacijentkinja koje su imale jedan prethodni carski rez. Histološka analiza je obuhvatala zastupljenost fibroze, mišićnog tkiva i proliferacije. Nalazi se upoređeni u odnosu na grupu tehnike histerorafije. Rezultati: RM je zabeležena u 30/243 slučaja (3.56/10.000 porođaja, 1.15/1000 CR). DO je zabeležena u 208/243 (2.47/1000 porođaja, 7.99/1000 CR). Zabeležen je 51 slučaj PAS (5.22/10.000 porođaja, 1.64/1.000 CR). Zastupljenost tehnike A među komplikacijama je bila manja nego grupe B i C (DO grupa A 11.1%, grupa B 83.3% grupa C 33.3%; PAS: grupa A 15.4%, grupa B 61.5%, grupa C 53.8%). Kod pacijentkinja koje su imale peripartalnu histerotomiju zbog PAS nije pronađen nijedan slučaj kod koga su svi prethodni CR rađeni tehnikom iz grupe A. Debljina ožiljka je bila značajno veća u grupi A u odnosu na grupu B i grupu C (5.45±2.19mm vs. 3.65±1.69mm vs. 3.73±1.45mm; p<0.001). Nije bilo statistički značajne razlike u zastupljenosti fibroze, mišićnog tkiva i proliferacije između ispitivanih grupa. Zaključci: postoje razlike u debljini ožiljka i učestalosti RM i PAS između različitih tehnika histerofije zastupljenih na UKCV. Posle histerorafije modifikovanom tehnikom po Vejnoviću javlja se deblji ožiljak i manja učestalost komplikacija. Razlika u zarastanju materice između tehnika se manifestuje debljinom ožiljka, a ne razlikom u histološkoj građi.Introduction: cesarean section (CS) is the most common operation in women of reproductive age. Because of its frequency, any impact of CS on women's health has great clinical, economic and social significance. Chronic complications of CS become a significant part of patient morbidity after CS. The basis for their occurence is a niche in the CS scar. Research is focused on identifying elements of operational technique that could influence the frequency and size of the niche. Objectives: to compare the frequency of chronic complications of CS (uterine rupture - RM, scar dehiscence - SD and hysterectomy due to placenta accreta spectrum - PAS) and the characteristics of the uterine scar between uterine closure techniques applied at the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics of the University Clinical Center of Vojvodina (UKCV). Material and Мethods: a series of cases of RM, SD and PAS were analyzed in a retrospective segment and the frequency was examined in relation to the uterine closure technique for the period 2008-2022. The prospective segment analyzed the thickness of the scar, as well as the histological structure of 147 samples of the uterine scar, which were divided into three groups in relation to the uterine closure technique on the previous cesarean section: group A – uterine closure by Vejnović modification; group B – single- layer, continuous locking uterine suturing; group C – double-layer uterine closure. Measurements and sample collection were performed intraoperatively, in patients who had one previous cesarean section. The histological analysis included the representation of fibrosis, muscle tissue and proliferation and the findings were compared in relation to the uterine closure technique. Results: RM was recorded in 30/243 cases (3.56/10,000 births, 1.15/1000 CS). SD was recorded in 208/243 (2.47/1000 births, 7.99/1000 CS). There were 51 cases of PAS (5.22/10,000 births, 1.64/1,000 CS). The representation in complications of group A was lower compared to groups B and C (SD: group A 11.1%, group B 83.3% group C 33.3%; PAS group A 15.4%, group B 61.3% group C 53.8%). In patients who had peripartum hysterectomy due to PAS, no cases were found in which all previous CSs were performed using the technique of group A. The thickness of the scar was significantly greater in group A compared to group B and group C (5.45±2.19 mm vs. 3.65 ±1.69mm vs. 3.73±1.45mm; p<0.001). There was no statistically significant difference in the representation of fibrosis, muscle tissue and proliferation between the examined groups. Conclusions: there are differences in scar thickness and frequency of RM and PAS among different uterine closure techniques. After Vejnović modified technique, a thicker scar occurs and the frequency of complications is lower. The difference in the healing of the uterus among the techniques is manifested by the thickness of the scar, rather than the difference in the histological structure
Criminal offenses of fraud
Према устаљеном схватању код нас, под преваром се подразумева намерна обмана или намерно погрешно приказивање материјалних чињеница. Кривичноправно поимање преваре је, разуме се, одређеније те се поред обмане тј., заблуде, за постојање овог крвичног дела захтева и намера да учинилац преваром прибави противправну имовинску корист, као и последица која се огледа у штети која настаје за оштећеног. С обзиром на то да су предмет нашег истраживања кривична дела преваре, онда не говоримо само о кривичном делу превара и о другим кривичним делима која у свом именовању садрже термин „превара“, већ говоримо и о кривичним делима код којих се превара јавља као начин извршења. С тим у вези превара, односно обмањивање јавља се као начин извршења и код других кривичних дела попут трговине људима, неовлашћеног организовања игара на срећу, отмице и др. Преваре показују разноврсност када су у питању појавни облици и начини извршења који свакако одређују начин вођења криминалистичке истраге. Вршење кривичних дела а самим тим и кривичних дела преваре свакако је резултат бројних друштвених и индивидуалних фактора попут интелигенције, емоција, образовања, породице, економског развоја итд. Ипак, ниједном од ових фактора не може се приписати кључни значај приликом испољавања криминалног понашања иако сваки од њих сам или у садејству са једним или више других фактори повећева ризик од вршења кривичних дела, па тако и кривичних дела преваре. Упоредним сагледавањем кривичних дела преваре у законодавствима неких бивших југословенских република као и Француске и Немачке уочавамо како сличности тако и разлике. Наиме, без обзира на то о којој се држави ради кривична дела преваре карактерише обмана. Оно што се уочава као разлика заправо се односи на разлике у инкриминацијама те тако у неким од посматраних држава постоје кривична дела преваре која нису прописана Кривичним закоником Србије. Очекивано, највише разлика налазимо у кривичним законицима Француске и Немачке. За потребе овог рада спровели смо истраживање које је засновано на подацима Републичког завода за статистику о пријављеним, оптуженим и осуђеним учиниоцима кривичних дела. Истраживањем је обухваћен период од 2015 до 2019. године. Резултати нашег истраживања показују да су кривична дела преваре веома мало заступљена у укупном криминалитету ( око 5%). Најраспрострањеније од свих посматраних кривичних дела је кривично дело превара без обзира на то да ли га сагледавамо кроз призму пријављених, оптужених или осуђених лица. Што се тиче пола и узраста учинилаца ових кривичних дела према резултатима истраживања највише их врше пунолетна лица мушког пола. Сагледавањем резултата који се односе на регионалну дистрибуцију кривичних дела преваре уочено је да се најчешће врше у региону Западне Србије и Војводине.Prema ustaljenom shvatanju kod nas, pod prevarom se podrazumeva namerna obmana ili namerno pogrešno prikazivanje materijalnih činjenica. Krivičnopravno poimanje prevare je, razume se, određenije te se pored obmane tj., zablude, za postojanje ovog krvičnog dela zahteva i namera da učinilac prevarom pribavi protivpravnu imovinsku korist, kao i posledica koja se ogleda u šteti koja nastaje za oštećenog. S obzirom na to da su predmet našeg istraživanja krivična dela prevare, onda ne govorimo samo o krivičnom delu prevara i o drugim krivičnim delima koja u svom imenovanju sadrže termin „prevara“, već govorimo i o krivičnim delima kod kojih se prevara javlja kao način izvršenja. S tim u vezi prevara, odnosno obmanjivanje javlja se kao način izvršenja i kod drugih krivičnih dela poput trgovine ljudima, neovlašćenog organizovanja igara na sreću, otmice i dr. Prevare pokazuju raznovrsnost kada su u pitanju pojavni oblici i načini izvršenja koji svakako određuju način vođenja kriminalističke istrage. Vršenje krivičnih dela a samim tim i krivičnih dela prevare svakako je rezultat brojnih društvenih i individualnih faktora poput inteligencije, emocija, obrazovanja, porodice, ekonomskog razvoja itd. Ipak, nijednom od ovih faktora ne može se pripisati ključni značaj prilikom ispoljavanja kriminalnog ponašanja iako svaki od njih sam ili u sadejstvu sa jednim ili više drugih faktori povećeva rizik od vršenja krivičnih dela, pa tako i krivičnih dela prevare. Uporednim sagledavanjem krivičnih dela prevare u zakonodavstvima nekih bivših jugoslovenskih republika kao i Francuske i Nemačke uočavamo kako sličnosti tako i razlike. Naime, bez obzira na to o kojoj se državi radi krivična dela prevare karakteriše obmana. Ono što se uočava kao razlika zapravo se odnosi na razlike u inkriminacijama te tako u nekim od posmatranih država postoje krivična dela prevare koja nisu propisana Krivičnim zakonikom Srbije. Očekivano, najviše razlika nalazimo u krivičnim zakonicima Francuske i Nemačke. Za potrebe ovog rada sproveli smo istraživanje koje je zasnovano na podacima Republičkog zavoda za statistiku o prijavljenim, optuženim i osuđenim učiniocima krivičnih dela. Istraživanjem je obuhvaćen period od 2015 do 2019. godine. Rezultati našeg istraživanja pokazuju da su krivična dela prevare veoma malo zastupljena u ukupnom kriminalitetu ( oko 5%). Najrasprostranjenije od svih posmatranih krivičnih dela je krivično delo prevara bez obzira na to da li ga sagledavamo kroz prizmu prijavljenih, optuženih ili osuđenih lica. Što se tiče pola i uzrasta učinilaca ovih krivičnih dela prema rezultatima istraživanja najviše ih vrše punoletna lica muškog pola. Sagledavanjem rezultata koji se odnose na regionalnu distribuciju krivičnih dela prevare uočeno je da se najčešće vrše u regionu Zapadne Srbije i Vojvodine.According to our established understanding, fraud means intentional deception or intentional misrepresentation of material facts. The criminal law understanding of fraud is, of course, more specific, and in addition to deception, i.e., delusion, the existence of this criminal act also requires the intention of the perpetrator to obtain an illegal financial benefit by fraud, as well as the consequence that is reflected in the damage caused to the injured party. Considering that the subject of our research is the criminal offense of fraud, then we are not only talking about the criminal offense of fraud and other criminal offenses that contain the term "fraud" in their name, but we are also talking about criminal offenses in which fraud occurs as a method of execution . In this connection, fraud, that is, deception appears as a way of execution in other crimes such as human trafficking, unauthorized organization of games of chance, kidnapping, etc. Fraud shows diversity when it comes to appearance and methods of execution, which certainly determine the way of conducting a criminal investigation. The commission of criminal acts and therefore also criminal acts of fraud is certainly the result of numerous social and individual factors such as intelligence, emotions, education, family, economic development, etc. However, none of these factors can be attributed a key importance in the manifestation of criminal behavior, although each of them alone or in cooperation with one or more other factors increases the risk of committing criminal acts, including criminal acts of fraud. By comparing the crimes of fraud in the legislation of some former Yugoslav republics as well as France and Germany, we can see both similarities and differences. Namely, regardless of which country the crime of fraud is characterized by deception. What is perceived as a difference actually refers to differences in incriminations, so in some of the observed countries there are criminal acts of fraud that are not prescribed by the Criminal Code of Serbia. As expected, we find the most differences in the criminal codes of France and Germany. For the purposes of this work, we conducted research based on the data of the Republic Institute of Statistics on reported, accused and convicted perpetrators of criminal acts. The research covers the period from 2015 to 2019. The results of our research show that the criminal offenses of fraud are very little represented in the total criminality (about 5%). The most widespread of all observed criminal offenses is the criminal offense of fraud, regardless of whether we look at it through the prism of reported, accused or convicted persons. As for the gender and age of the perpetrators of these crimes, according to the results of the research, they are mostly committed by adult males. Looking at the results related to the regional distribution of criminal offenses of fraud, it was observed that they are most often committed in the region of Western Serbia and Vojvodina
Structure and antimicrobial activity of copper(II), zinc(II) and silver(I) complexes with pyridine-containing ligands
U okviru ove doktorske disertacije, sintetisani su kompleksi bakra(II),
cinka(II) i srebra(I) sa ligandima koji sadrže piridin kao potencijalni
antimikrobni agensi. Sintetisani kompleksi su strukturno okarakterisani
primenom spektroskopskih, elektrohemijskih i kristalografskih metoda. Ispitivana
je njihova antimikrobna aktivnost na različitim bakterijskim i gljivičnim vrstama.
Pored toga, ispitivana je i antiproliferativna aktivnost sintetisanih kompleksa na
zdravoj ćelijskoj liniji fibroblasta pluća (MRC-5) u cilju određivanja njihove
eventualne citotoksičnosti, to jest terapeutskog profila.
Strukturne osobine i antimikrobna aktivnost sintetisanih kompleksa
bakra(II), cinka(II) i srebra(I) su poređene sa odgovarajućim osobinama strukturno
sličnih kompleksa, kao i sa lekovima koji se primenjuju u terapiji infekcija
izazvananih mikroorganizmima.
U prvom delu doktorske disertacije opisan je problem razvoja rezistentnosti
mikroorganizama na klinički korišćene lekove, koji predstavljaju derivate
organskih jedinjenja. Pored toga, prikazan je značaj jedinjenja na bazi jona metala, koja
su još od davnih vremena pokazala efekte u terapiji infekcija izazvanih
mikroorganizmima i drugih bolesti. Dat je pregled kompleksa bakra(II), cinka(II) i
srebra(I) sa aromatičnim heterocikličnim ligandima koji sadrže donorski atom
azota i koji su pokazali antimikrobnu aktivnost. U drugom delu disertacije, opisani
su postupci za sintezu kompleksa bakra(II), cinka(II) i srebra(I), metode korišćene za
njihovu strukturnu karakterizaciju, ispitivanje njihove antimikrobne aktivnosti,
kao i za ispitivanje njihove reaktivnosti prema biološki značajnim molekulima.
U trećem delu prikazani su rezultati spektroskopske karakterizacije i rendgenske
strukturne analize sintetisanih kompleksa, rezultati ispitivanja njihove
antimikrobne i citotoksične aktivnosti, kao i rezultati interakcija sintetisanih
kompleksa sa biomolekulima.In this doctoral dissertation, copper(II), zinc(II) and silver(I) complexes with pyridinecontaining ligands have been synthesized and evaluated as potential antimicrobial agents. The
synthesized complexes were structurally characterized by spectroscopic, electrochemical, and
crystallographic methods. Their antimicrobial activity was evaluated against different
bacterial and fungal species. Besides that, antiproliferative activity of the synthesized
complexes on the healthy human lung fibroblast cell line (MRC-5) has been studied to
determine their potential cytotoxicity in order to determine their therapeutic profile.
The structural properties and antimicrobial activity of the synthesized copper(II),
zinc(II) and silver(I) complexes have been compared with the corresponding properties of the
structurally similar complexes and clinically used antimicrobial agents.
In the first part of the doctoral dissertation, development of the resistance of
microorganisms to the clinically used drugs, which are derivatives of organic compounds, is
described. Moreover, the importance of metal-based compounds, which have shown
effectiveness in the treatment of infections caused by microorganisms and other diseases from
ancient times, is also presented. An overview of the copper(II), zinc(II) and silver(I)
complexes with aromatic nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ligands that have shown
antimicrobial activity is given. In the second part of the doctoral dissertation, procedures for
the synthesis of copper(II), zinc(II) and silver(I) complexes are described, as well as methods
used for their structural characterization, antimicrobial evaluation and their reactivity towards

The pursuit of sustainable urban development requires a review of existing and the development and implementation of new planning and design approaches and solutions in order to respond to the numerous problems that cities face under the influence of rapid urbanization and climate change. The increasing risk of flooding with rain runoff was recognized as one of the problems, which imposed the need to review the existing philosophy of urban water management. In an attempt to find and implement alternative responses, developed countries have developed integrated stormwater management approaches in recent decades that are based on mimicking nature, elements of nature, and natural cycles. Although they are dealt with by numerous disciplines, it seems that they have not been sufficiently considered from the aspect of urban planning and design, which justifies the subject of scientific research within this dissertation. In the context of the search for sustainable patterns of urban development, the research dealt with the examination of the possibility of forming and realizing urban models of the application of stormwater management approaches in the regeneration of multi-family housing areas. The starting point is the assumption that integrated stormwater management approaches do not only contribute to reducing the risk of flooding, but with their holistic and multifunctional character can contribute to the realization of complex goals of sustainable urban development if they are adequately integrated into urban planning and urban regeneration. In this sense, institutional, social, economic and environmental factors that affect the possibility of their application have been identified. A systematic analysis of the available literature, development, strategic and planning documents has indicated the key ways of applying integrated stormwater management approaches, which then enabled the formation of a conceptual and three operational urban application models: 1) strategic-programmatic; 2) project-comprehensive; and 3) project-partial. Different goals, basis and purpose of application, spatial levels of application, method of realization and benefits of their application arise from the type of model. The possibilities of applying the model in the context of Serbia were examined, and recommendations and guidelines for their application were defined. It was concluded that it is currently possible to apply the project-partial model in the form of a demonstration project
