Institutional quality and self-evaluation model in public institutions: a Kenyan case study
Improving institutional quality is essential for economic growth in developing countries. This study uses the Central Bank of Kenya as a case study to assess the impact of institutional quality management and self-assessment models on public sector performance. Using the ISO 9001:2015 framework, the study focused on principles such as leadership, stakeholder engagement, process approach, and continuous improvement. Survey data from 51 respondents were analyzed using correlation and regression techniques. The results reveal that while several quality management practices are correlated with improved performance, leadership commitment is the only statistically significant predictor. Self-assessment models, when embedded in organizational culture and supported by effective leadership, contribute significantly to service delivery and strategic alignment. The study highlights the key role of leadership and provides practical guidance for improving quality in public institutions

Ronald Reagen elnök beszéde a fegyverzet korlátozásáról (részletek) 1981 november 18.
Ritka földfémek a világgazdaságban
Az elmúlt években fokozódott az érdeklődés a ritkaföldfémek iránt, miután nyilvánvaló lett azok stratégiai jelentősége néhány meghatározó, jellemzően csúcstechnológiát képező ágazatban, s a környezetkímélő, tiszta energiatermelés területén. A geopolitikai szempontok felértékelődése fokozta ezt az érdeklődést, miután a világgazdaság ritkaföldfém-ellátásában Kína abszolút domináns szerepet tölt be. A Kínától – ezen a téren is – fennálló függés arra ösztönzi a legfejlettebb országokat, hogy alternatívákat keressenek – ami különösen nehéz, mivel a ritkaföldfém-lelőhelyek földrajzilag erősen koncentráltan fordulnak elő.
A Föld „természetes” kettősségéről
„A pogányok, akik nem törekedtek a megigazulásra, megigazultak, mégpedig a hitből igazultak meg. A zsidó nép viszont, amely törekedett a törvényből eredő megigazulásra, nem jutott el a törvény teljesítésére. Vajon miért? Mert nem hittel, hanem tettekkel igyekezett teljesíteni.” (Róm 9,30-32. ford. SZIT

Social Marketing for a Healthy Diet: A Systematic Literature Review
Objectives In this study we focused on how social marketing might encourage healthy eating habits, with particular attention to methodological approaches, theoretical frameworks, geographic representations, and important suggestions for further research. Background Social marketing is an important tool for promoting healthy eating, but research has not fully explored the implementation of mixed methodologies, included theory-driven approaches, or represented worldwide geographies. These deficiencies have hampered successful strategy creation.Method We examined 45 research publications in this comprehensive literature review. Methodological approaches, theoretical foundations, intervention tactics, and geographic origins were considered when evaluating the studies.Findings According to the findings, the study landscape is dominated by the United States and Canada (42%), followed by Europe (31%), with other regions being underrepresented. Despite the potential advantages of mixed-method techniques, just four studies used them. Though most research lacks a theoretical foundation, popular hypotheses include the Technology Acceptance Model and the Theory of Planned Behaviour. One common strategy for encouraging healthier diets is the use of social media. Nevertheless, there is little application of mediating and moderating variables. Conclusion This review emphasises the necessity of theory-driven social marketing initiatives, suggesting the incorporation of sustainability and health into dietary recommendations through strategies such as controlling the promotion of unhealthy foods and utilizing social media tactics like memes, visual stimuli, celebrity endorsements, and peer interactions-all of which are crucial in encouraging consumers, especially women and young audiences, to adopt healthy eating practices
Sustainable and secure energy development of the European Union : artificial intelligence-based approach for policymaking
Background
The European Union considers the decarbonization of Europe by 2050 a strategic objective. This necessitates finding the solutions that will support the intricate process of formulating energy policies and decisions with enduring implications for the economy, environment, and social welfare of European Union citizens and beyond. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the suitability of an artificial intelligence (AI)-based approach in policymaking (control stage) with the aim of achieving a more optimal formulation of the common European energy policy and the policies of individual member states.
Results
Given the scope and volatility of the data, as well as the research objective, data processing was conducted using clustering - a technique within artificial intelligence (AI) - which is suitable for producing more precise, explainable, and provable (PEP) outcomes. In doing so, the study addresses one of the main obstacles to the broader use of AI in policymaking: the current lack of trust in AI-based solutions. The research was conducted in three stages. In the first stage, energy security indicators were determined based on 13 selected indicators using the aggregate approach. In the second stage, clustering was executed as an unsupervised machine learning method, utilizing the K-means algorithm as the designated learning model. In the third stage, a classifier model utilizing an artificial neural network was proposed. The research findings have revealed that countries exhibiting the highest levels of energy security, and consequently the most favorable conditions for sustainable growth, have different energy portfolios, unique economic frameworks, and differing energy prices.
Conclusions
The research findings are significant in the domains of energy and environmental policies, decision theory, and AI (with special emphasis on the EU AI Act). The research highlights the efficacy of an interdisciplinary approach and contributes to the studies about the use of AI in policymaking, with emphasis on the improvements that will lead to its greater power and precision—one of the milestones for efficient policymaking. Policymaking based on PEP AI outcomes can be seen as one of the most efficient methods for strategic planning and control of decarbonization of Europe; therefore, the paper also proposes recommendations in this context
