Citayam Fashion Week Effect: Political and Policy Responses
This study wants to explore the extent to which the political and policy aspects work by looking at the political responses of political figures and the policy responses of policy actors. Using the desk research method as an alternative approach by using existing data sources. Data sources consist of primary, namely information collected by the researchers themselves and secondary which comes from the findings of previous studies. The results show that Citayam Fashion Week is used as a momentum for politicians to image themselves on social media with the motive of wanting to get closer to novice voters for the sake of political careers in order to gain popularity and increase electability. Policy responses are shown with appreciation and partiality, even though implementation in the field shows prohibitions. Citayam Fashion Week provides lessons on the importance of inclusive public spaces not only in Jakarta but also in other cities/regencies in Indonesia, which allows citizens to express their culture and identity safely. This is important to enrich the city's citizens' culture, economy, and social capital. Researchers also hope that the movement is not just a temporary trend, it needs a touch of designers and government intervention so that this trend can continue to grow
Accountability of Village Development Based on Huyula Local Culture in Lemito District, Pohuwato Regency
This study aims to determine the accountability of Village Fund management in village development carried out by the village government and also the village community based on huyula local cultural values in Lemito District, Pohuwato Regency. The method used in this research is to use a qualitative approach where there are several stages carried out both from the observation stage, interviews and also came to the documentation stage in order to obtain information to support research on the accountability of village funds itself. The results of the study indicate that the form of village government accountability in Lemito District, Pohuwato Regency has implemented the local cultural values of Huyula (Ambu) and has been implemented well by the village government, where in village fund management activities always involve the community and community leaders. There is also the involvement of the BPD (Village Consultative Body), village assistants at the sub-district level and the sub-district government itself. The local cultural values of Huyula (Ambu) have several values, namely the value of unity, the value of deliberation, the value of cooperation, the value of responsibility, and the value of unity.. Huyula or Ambu is carried out with the aim of preserving the values of local wisdom of Gorontalo culture in village development.
Acceleration of One Indonesian Data through Collaborative Governance in Indonesia
This study aims to analyze the acceleration of one data Indonesia through collaborative governance. Data quality is a necessity for every country. Unfortunately, data accuracy between regions down to the central level faces various problems. Indonesia already has the One Data Indonesia program but the development and progress of the program being managed requires adaptive and flexible collaboration. Qualitative research uses data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. The study’s results found (1) Challenges in solving substantive problems by identifying the problem of differences in data from government institutions. The problem is that each institution defines the problem from its point of view. So that the problem will be increasingly difficult to define because of the different perspectives of the parties collaborating on an issue (2) Challenges in the collaboration process, the issue of open data, data validity, and single data are faced with many problems, one of which there are 24,400 thousand applications that stand alone so that integration becomes difficult. There is a sectoral ego where the institution or agency is unwilling to share its data. (3) The challenge of multi-relational accountability in implementing the acceleration of SDI at the provincial, city, and district levels. Many regions still have not carried out the mandate of the Presidential Regulation on SDI due to various reasons
Saudi Arabia Socio-Cultural Reform in Saudi Vision 2030
Socio-cultural reforms carried out by Saudi Arabia are based on a rational consideration to maintain the country’s existence in the midst of increasingly strong currents of globalization and modernism. The image of Saudi Arabia in the international arena, which is famous for its rigid and conservative teachings of Wahhabism, is gradually being changed to suit the global social order. At the same time, this change is still striving to preserve cultural values that have become the identity of Saudi Arabia, as the beginning of world Muslim civilization. This socio-cultural reform trend strengthened along with the change in the peak of Saudi Arabia's government, which was marked by the ascension of Muhammad Bin Salman as the Crown Prince, who has control in determining the direction of strategic policies domestically and internationally. Through Saudi Vision 2030, this socio-cultural reform can be carried out in a measurable and systematic way to achieve the goal of economic diversification and ensure the existence and dominance of the country in the future. The author will use a qualitative research system with analytical descriptive methods that utilize various sources such as scientific articles, journals, books, media, and other sources that have been processed and studied. This study will use the theory of national interest and rational choice to identify the decision- making process in carrying out socio-cultural reforms through Saudi Vision 2030. The results show that Saudi Vision 2030 plays a significant role as a manifestation of Saudi Arabia's socio-cultural reform-based policies
Complaint Management System Analysis: Online Community Aspiration And Complaint Services
The background of this research is the lack of complaints on the application of the National Public Service Complaint Management System - People's Online Aspirations and Complaints Service (SP4N-Lapor) and the slow handling of complaints submitted by the public. This study aims to determine the implementation of the SP4N-Lapor program in Pontianak City. This type of research is qualitative. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the SP4N-Lapor program has been specifically measured using the Policy Implementation Theory. Based on the standard variables and policy objectives, the implementation of the program is in accordance with the aims. In addition, the variable resources of facilities and infrastructure are sufficient, but human resources are still not optimal. Variable characteristics of implementing agents have been right on target, variable attitudes or tendencies (disposition) of the implementers have carried out their duties well, variables of communication between organizations and activities of implementing communication have been carried out and established and variables of the economic, social and political environment have been running smoothly. To conclide, the overall implementation has been going well and found the inhibiting factor, namely the limited human resources that hinder the implementation of SP4N-LAPOR.
Civil Servant Performance: Study on the Koperasi Daya Karya, Sintang District Education and Culture Office
This paper aims to show how the performance of the Koperasi Daya Karya in the Sintang District Office of Education and Culture has so far been. Using a qualitative descriptive method, this study describes several problems that refer to the first aspect of responsiveness, namely the ability to identify the needs of members, prioritize services, develop agendas, and develop service programs for members who have not been running optimally and not yet optimal. unfulfilled needs and aspirations of members; secondly, the responsibility for implementing activities at “Daya Karya” has not been carried out with administrative principles that are in line with cooperative policies, the level of conformity between the formulation of the vision and mission of the Koperasi and the dynamics of change, the level of anticipation in dealing with change; accountability of "Daya Karya" which has not been able to account for its actions and work optimally, as well as several factors that influence the results of the work of dedication to "Daya Karya" of the Sintang District Education and Culture Office. Thus, this research is expected to make service performance at the "Daya Karya" Office of Education and Culture of Sintang Regency run optimally.
Explaining Compensation Satisfaction Among Public Officers from Equity and Expectancy Perspective
Managing compensation is an interesting and sensitive issue in organizations, including public organizations.This study examines the effect of each aspect of compensation on satisfaction among public officers. Based on the equity theory and the expectancy theory, this research focuses on the central concept observed about compensation, with a total of 122 public officials who work in two government agencies in Medan, North Sumatra, participating as respondents. The results showed that among the four aspects of compensation observed and tested in this study, the findings show that only the incentive aspect had an essential effect on employee satisfaction with compensation. The three other aspects of compensation were found to have no significant effect on employee satisfaction with compensation. The practical implication for public officers who work in the public sector, the organizational incentive pattern is very attractive to them. This study also argues that these same challenges can also serve as drivers shaping the future of public compensation as a theory and practice. While conclusion also offers a new perspective in favor of the argument advanced here.
Tourism Management Policy: Division of Makassar City Culinary Area
Tourism development has a significant role in the development of economic, social, cultural, environmental, political and security aspects. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of the culinary area of Makassar City. The development of the tourism sector and its supports has an important meaning in national integration. Infrastructure not only serves to bind the geography of the archipelago, but also guides the birth of participation, efficiency and welfare This study uses a qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that the division of the culinary area in the city of Makassar is divided into 3 parts of the culinary area, namely Datu Museng Makassar City, Culinary Area of Perintis Kemerdekaan Street and Culinary Area of Sultan Alauddin Street. These three areas have their respective culinary icons. The culinary area of Datu Museng, Makassar, has a variety of culinary delights such as seafood, epe bananas, konro, otak-otak-pallu butung, pallu basa and others. While in the culinary area, the pioneering street of independence, the culinary icon is Mie Titi. Next, the culinary area of Jalan Sultan Alauddin icon is Coto Alauddin. Makassar's traditional culinary potential has a very big opportunity to develop, especially if it is associated with tourism which triggers interest in visits, regional income and the community. With an effective regional division, culinary will support the economy in Makassar City.
Covid 19: How Is the Ability of Local Governments to Deal with It?
Countermeasures to minimize the spread of Covid-19 are still being carried out. The city of Padang has reduced the rate of the space of Covid-19 when implementing the Large-Scale Social Restriction policy. However, the spike in Covid-19 cases occurred again when the New Normal policy began to be implemented in the city of Padang. The purpose of this study is to explain the ability of local governments in dealing with Covid-19. The research method in data collection is qualitative through interviews and documentation. The results of this study are that the Padang City Covid-19 Handling Task Force as a local government agency for the Covid-19 response has played a good role in overcoming Covid-19 in Padang City. However, several things need to be maximized related to the capacity of the local government in Padang City. First, in the Human Resources variable, regarding the resources of health workers and health service facilities for handling health for Covid-19 survivors at the Padang City regional hospital, it still needs to be improved. Second, on the technical variables, namely Covid-19 logistics, there are still some Covid-19 survivors who do not receive logistical assistance when self-isolating Covid-19 at home, besides that the Covid-19 Handling Task Force also still needs to maximize its coordination in conveying information. Development Failure Analysis Kungkuk Tourism Village (Case Study in Punten Village, Batu City)
This study aims to analyze the failure of the development of the Kungkuk Village Tourism Village in Punten Village, Batu City. Developing the tourism paradigm in Indonesia has made Tourism Villages a Trend in tourism development. Villages are required to manage and build village potential. However, in the implementation process, it often encounters obstacles such as lack of optimality and even failure in development. Researchers seek to see the role of actors and collaboration to form collaborations between government, private, community, academic, and media (Penta Helix) in developing Tourism Villages. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results showed that the failure of the development of the Kungkuk Village Tourism Village was triggered by a lack of support from the village government, and no village regulation provided an umbrella for the development of the Tourism Village.
