Analisis kebutuhan pelatihan tenaga perpustakaan di institut pertanian bogor
One of the effort to improve the competence of employess is to send them in various trainings, but what often happens is the objectives of the trainings are not well targeted, either for the employees or for achieving the purpose of the institusion. Institutions should have the design of the trainings program according to the needs of the staff because training for staff requires substantial funds and time management. Training that is well targeted, in this case for the library staff, will have an impact on waste of time and cost, which should have been avoided. And as in fact, some of the library staffs have attended various trainings, both inside or outside of IPB, but have not been identified, whether the trainings has been obtained according to the needs of the library staff. Through training, the gap between the work skilss possessed by the the library staff and the expected work ability, can be overcome.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the work ability by the job title versus performance of work ability; to analyze the job performance gaps by positition versus performance of work ability; and designing the trainings program that suits to the needs of the libarary staff at IPB. Training Needs Assessment (TNA) is an effective method to use for analyzing the training needs for the library staff.
The study is conducted using a quantitative approach through surveys and interviews. The census method are used in the determination of respondents. The Training Need Analysis Methode starting to used to assess the work ability by the job title versus performance of work ability of library staff, using questionnaires that adopted and modified from the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards for the library field, the year 2012. The skill gap among the library staff is analyzed by comparing the point of the work ability by the job title to the point of performance of work ability. If the point of the skill gap is bigger than 1, it means there is a workability gap that indicating the need for training.
The results of this study indicate that the performance of work ability of librarians in IPB, either general, the core and special competence are below the standard level. Therefore all competencies require trainings, but not in urgent. There are ten training prioriteis to increase the competence of librarians in IPB, namely: (1) scientific paper writing; (2) designing the work plan and library work report; (3) information literation; (4) library field study; (5) tracing complex information; (6) spatial and the furniture in the library; (7) library materials maintenance; (8) internet networks for library services; (9) procurement for library material; (10) subject record. for the service officers, the training needs to be focused on improving the competence of circulation services. Effective training methods of training for library staff are In House Training (IHT), technical and applicative training
Analisis investasi pengembangan energi alternatif untuk menurunkan biaya energi di pt xyz
In manufacture company, management required to find alternative energy sources that cause price of the products become cheaper. Alternative energy is meant here is a source of energy other than oil and gas that is used as fuel for steam generating machine. Alternative energy is widely used for the energy source is coal boiler. However, the use of coal as a fuel source is not permitted to use at PT. XYZ by local environmental agencies because the company's location adjacent to the densely populated area. Other alternative fuels that can be used as engine fuel steam generator or boiler is palm shells. Palm shells began to be used as fuel for boilers because higher calorific value than other alternative fuel and its availability is very abundant. Gross value of palm shells calorie value when tested in an accredited laboratory is 4846 kcal / kg.
To be able to use palm shells as a boiler fuel, the company should invest the engines with alternative fuels. Engines with alternative fuels also require a broader area than the engine with fuel oil or gas. Engine with fuel oil or gas requires a total initial investment of Rp 2,654,404,500.00 and the engine with alternative fuels will require investment of Rp 4,963,520,000.00. The cost of fuel consumption per hour boiler capacity of 5 tons per hour with a fuel gas is Rp 1,722,838.00 while the cost of consumption of alternative fuels with a capacity of 5 tons per hour is Rp 938,060.00. With the savings gained by fuel switching, it can be analyzes whether the investment is feasible to proceed or not. Investment engines with alternative fuel boiler produce a positive NPV value Rp 6,139,834,073.00. Internal rate of return on this investment is 49.03 percent and its payback period is 2,1 years. With the results of this analysis, the investment worth continuing because the NPV is positive, IRR is higher than the interest rate, and the payback period is lower than the limit of return on investment set by PT. XYZ.
After analysis with sensitivity analysis, this investment also has some limitation which is the price of fuel is allowed a maximum of Rp 1,130.81 the decrease in production over the next 5 years do not exceed 44.7 percent, the price of gas fuel is not lower than 6 US dollars per MMBTU, and the exchange rate of the US dollar is not lower than Rp 10,316.00 per US dollar. Perencanaan strategik unit usaha pembiayaan syariah menuju spin off (studi kasus: adira finance)
Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 43 / PMK.010 / 2012
concerning Advances on Financing of Motor Vehicles in Financing Company sets
Down Provisions of at least 20% - 25% of the sale price, making the amount of
credit received by finance companies declining. This condition requires finance
companies to implement new strategies to maintain market share.
One of the strategies undertaken by financing companies is by adding new
business units by carrying sharia principles. Sharia financing began to increase
significantly since the advent of the policy set in relation to the down payment in
2012. However, total sharia financing assets are still lower than conventional
financing (5.25%: 94.75%), as well as the number of financing receivables sharia
is still smaller than conventional financing receivables (5.57%: 94.43%) (OJK
2016).
The Financial Services Authorization (OJK) as the regulator of the
financing industry has issued a policy set forth in the POJK. 28 / POJK.05 / 2014
which explains that multifinance which has sharia portfolio as much as 50% from
total business or five years from POJK is lawfully obliged to do spin off sharia
(segregation of sharia business unit). With this policy, sharia business unit can be
more focus on business development.
However, the spin off policy that has been applied to the banking industry
does not have an impact on the growth of sharia bank financing generated from
spin off, this is because the operational cost in the sharia bank which is produced
from the spin off is higher than the operating income, especially in the early spin
off period. Therefore, sharia banks resulting from spin off will be more careful
not to increase the operational cost of financing portfolio (Al Arif 2015). This is
supported by research conducted by Al Arif et al. (2017) which states that the
operational cost variable shows a negative effect on the asset growth in the sharia
bank result of spin off.
Adira Finance as one of the largest finance companies in Indonesia has
owned a sharia business unit established on June 15, 2012 and under Marketing
Directorate. The operational activities of sharia financing sales still join the
conventional office of financing (office channeling). Until 2016 with the number
of branches of 203, as many as 162 branches have served the sales of Islamic
financing spread across nine regions.
As reported by Kompas on June 08, 2015, sharia financing of Adira
Finance has contributed 12% of total sales with 90% sales increase compared to
2014. The sales growth of sharia financing of Adira Finance causes the market
share in every year to increase. Given the positive growth of sharia financing of
Adira Finance's market share and asset acquisition per year 2016, sharia financing
of Adira Finance has good potential to spin off. However, based on the
performance of the banking industry that first spin off, sharia financing unit of
Adira Finance needs to conduct a feasibility study and analyze more deeply
related to several action plans if the spin off business is conducted, so that after
the separation of sharia market share business unit can be maintained and has a
positive positive growth.
The purpose of this research is to analyze the feasibility of sharia financing
business unit of Adira Finance in fulfilling the aspect of business unit spin off and
formulate the strategy that will be applied to sharia business unit of Adira Finance
to spin off. The method used in this research is business feasibility study,
investment analysis, sensitivity analysis and strategic planning.
Based on the research result sharia financing unit of Adira Finance has the
ability to be spin off. But it should be noted by sharia financing unit of Adira
Finance on aspects of technology and human resources aspects. In the
implementation of the spin off of the sharia business unit into a business unit, it is
necessary to prepare an IT system tailored to the new sharia agreements that will
be used in product development. Having done his spin off employees who are in it
must understand the overall financing of sharia.
Investment analysis stated that sharia financing unit of Adira Finance is
not worth spin off if funding is fully charged to sharia financing unit of Adira
Finance and joint financing scheme becomes solution for sharia financing unit of
Adira Finance if it will be spin off. The sensitivity analysis results obtained that
two-wheeled motor vehicle more susceptible to changes in scenario compared
with four-wheeled vehicles. From the result of strategy formulation with
combination method of SWOT-AHP, the priority of strategy that need to be done
by sharia financing unit of Adira Finance to spin off is "Diversify product
according to sharia principle"

Analisis pengembangan model bisnis inklusif (studi kasus: oogatamura akitakomachi seinsanya kyokai inc)
Japan is one of countries with highest Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the world. It has the GDP of US$4.6 trillion in 2015. Although agriculture sector is surely not the largest contributor to the Japanese GDP, but it is highly considered by the Japanese government. One of commodities that plays an important role in developing Japanese economy is rice because it is the main food products in Japan. Japan has several varieties of rice and one of them is Akitakomachi. It is included as superior commodity in Japan. It has the highest quality of unhulled rice grain with its taste remains the same. It is not too sticky like Koshihikari, but it is often used in the making of sushi, mocha, and onigiri due to its high water content so that it keeps sticking though it has becomes cold. One of companies successfully developing processed food products made from Akitakomachi rice is Oogatamura Akitakomachi Seinsanya Kyokai Inc (OASKI). It is a self-help partnership based company focusing on the development of rice commodity and has been established since 1988. It processes rice into various innovative gluten free products, such as brown rice, white rice, and germinated brown rice. The rice is also processed into rice flour as a raw material for noodles, bread, cake, pasta, and emergency food. This research aims to: 1) map the business model conducted by OASKI; 2) identify its strengths and weaknesses; 3) design a new business model that can be implemented by OASKI for its growth and development. It is conducted using descriptive method. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data that are collected through observation, interview, questionnaire, and literature study. The analytical tools utilized are Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Strength-Weakness-Opportunity-Threat (SWOT) matrix.
The result of this research shows that the main strength of OASKI lies in Key Activities and Customer Relationship element, with a really high score of 5. Its main weakness is in Key Resources and Cost Structure element. The opportunities of all elements in the business model of OASKI have an almost similar high score of around 4. The opportunity with the highest score exists in Customer Segments element. This element is the most complex one as it hashigh opportunity and threat. It has a threat with a high score of 4.5.
Several development strategies for OASKI refer to the development in Key Activities element, for example the addition of halal accreditation, recruitment of experts in halal food, and human resource training on halal food. OASKI needs to open new market segment as Japanese population tends to decline from year to year. The young population currently tends to not liking rice-based foods. Opening new market segment does not mean that OASKI must do the export because it has not been able to do it with its current resources. OASKI can harness its current potentials to fulfill the value desired by muslim consumers, namely halal products. The aspects that need to be paid attention to are not only hygiene but also the whole production process from the upstream to the
downstream that is according to the Islamic sharia. It surely needs to be supported by the human resources who understand about it
