Using AI for student’s evaluation: Opportunities and Challenges
This study examines the philosophical, psychological, and administrative aspects of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) for student assessment and evaluation in India\u27s higher education system. Through qualitative interviews with educators at an urban university, the research explores AI\u27s potential to enhance fairness and efficiency in grading while also investigating concerns about its limitations in assessing creativity and critical thinking. The psychological impacts on students and teachers are analyzed, including AI\u27s ability to provide rapid feedback but potential lack of emotional engagement. Administrative challenges like the digital divide, costs, and ethical issues around data privacy and algorithmic bias are also evaluated. While AI offers significant opportunities to streamline assessment processes and provide personalized learning, its implementation faces obstacles related to infrastructure, training, and equitable access, particularly in rural areas. The study concludes that thoughtful integration of AI, with clear ethical guidelines, is needed to leverage its benefits while preserving essential human elements of education. This research contributes localized insights on AI adoption in India\u27s diverse educational landscape to inform policy and practice
Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma Of Alveolus And Buccal Mucosa- A Case Report
Oral squamous cell carcinoma is the most frequent type of carcinoma that affects the oral mucosa. Globally, 90% of oral cancer cases are caused by oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). It is unusual to develop below 30 years of age and more common in males over the age of 50. The most frequent malignant epithelial neoplasm affecting the oral cavity is oral squamous cell carcinoma. It is under the head and neck SCC group, and knowledge on its risk factors, genetic makeup, and epigenetic modifications is becoming more widely available. The long-held theory that poor oral hygiene contributes to the development of oral cancer has received more attention as evidence has emerged linking oral malignancies to chronic inflammatory illnesses such as periodontitis. Treatment for OSCC must be multimodal since it is a very invasive tumour and most patients have lesions that are still progressing locally when they are diagnosed. Studies show that different practices involving tissue abuse account for between 30 and 40 percent of mortality from oral squamous cell cancer. This article describes a classic case presentation of alveolar-buccal sulcus-related oral squamous cell carcinoma in a thirty seven-year-old male
Preferential Treatment Of Professors And Its Relationship To Increased Rates Of Violence In The University Environment
The phenomenon of violence in educational institutions and in all academic grades is a negative and serious social problem, and it is the focus of discussion of many scientific circles and experts in the educational field in all countries of the world. As many studies have been conducted on this phenomenon to find out its apparent and hidden causes in order to reduce or limit its spread and expansion.
This problem is widespread in all its types and forms in the university institution, considering that the university stage belongs to students in a sensitive age stage (adolescence), in which they seek to prove themselves and personality in front of others, rejecting all manifestations of neglect, marginalization and miniaturization that contribute to raising the rates of violent and aggressive behaviors on campus
Infiltrating Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma- A Case Report
One of the most prevalent cancers of the head and neck is oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). It has a high prevalence in certain parts of the world, and is associated with a high mortality rate. There are numerous etiological variables that can lead to OSCC, which develops in the oropharynx and oral cavity. However, the most common risk factors are still alcohol and smoking. The survival rate of oral cancer is 5 years , depending on the stage it is diagnosed. To diagnose in the early stage, specialized tumor markers may assist and also help in improving the survival rate of oral cancer. The purpose of this article is to present the histological characteristics of the most common type of oral cancer, so called oral squamous cell carcinom
Thyroid Storm With Paroxysmal Atrial Flutter In Patients With Untreated Hyperthyroidism: Emergency Treatment And Effectiveness Of Disease Control
The thyroid gland is a relatively small gland located in the front of the neck and has the function of producing thyroid hormones. Thyroid hormone helps the body use energy and control some activities. They have an impact on the body\u27s calorie-burning rate, breathing rate, digestive activity and even heart rate. Sometimes the thyroid gland secretes too much hormone and causes hyperthyroidism, which causes many body functions to become hyperactive [1], [2], [3] , [4]. If left untreated, this condition can lead to a more dangerous condition called thyroid storm. Thyroid storm is a rare complication of thyrotoxicosis. There are 4 main clinical features of thyroid storm: mental disorders, high fever, rapid pulse, and gastrointestinal disorders [1], [2, [3], [4], [5] If left untreated it can lead to atrial fibrillation, acute heart failure and fluid accumulation in the lungs, pulmonary edema, vascular collapse, coma, and death within 72 hours. Despite early diagnosis, the mortality rate remains high at 10-30% [3], [4], [6], [7], [8].
The underlying cause of a thyroid storm is hyperthyroidism. Thyroid storm is often precipitated by several factors such as infection, viral infection, Grave\u27s disease, some other autoimmune diseases, use of iodine-containing contrast agents, internal medicine, pregnancy, surgery, trauma all stress cases (hyper-catecholamine), or some acute diseases [1], [2], [9], [10]. In this report, we describe a case of a patient with thyroid storm who had paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, heart failure, and large pleural effusion on the background of hyperthyroidism but had not received any previous treatment for hyperthyroidism, intending to share more complex clinical scenarios as well as management, monitoring, and treatment for each different clinical entity

Correlation Between Obesity And Sexual Precocity Of Pre-Pubertal Girls In The Republic Of Dagestan
Introduction: The original article considers obesity as a factor of premature development in girls due to the relevance of this problem in our time. [1] Gonadotropin-dependent (central, or true), gonadotropin-independent and partial forms are distinguished. Gonadotropin-dependent premature sexual development (GPR) is associated with activation of the central link of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal system.[2],[3] The cause may be tumors of the chiasmal cell region, organic lesions of the central nervous system, genetic disorders..[4] Gonadotropin-independent PPD is caused by the secretion of sex steroids by gonads or tumors of the gonads or adrenal glands, excessive production of androgens by the adrenal glands due to steroidogenesis disorders. Partial forms represent an isolated enlargement of the mammary glands in girls and an isolated development of puberty. [5] Leptin and adiponectin of adipose tissue act on the hypothalamo-pituitary system and activate GnRH. The hormone initiates the production of FSH and LH of the pituitary gland, which have their effects on peripheral organs.[6],[7] It is also noted that peers are ahead of their physical development at the very beginning, but later, due to the early closure of the epiphyses, stunting is also often observed. [8],[9]
Objectives: To discover the connection between high BMI in the pre-puberty period and premature puberty of girls. Brooke C.G.D., Brown R.S. in the book "Guide to pediatric endocrinology." they write: "Direct measurements of body fat (hydrodensitometry, BIA or DEXA) are interesting, but BMI (weight in kilograms divided by the square of height in meters) is easy to calculate and correlates adequately with direct indicators, so BMI is often used to determine obesity.[10]
Methods: Based on the case histories of patients from hospitals in many cities and districts of the republic, this problem was studied.
Results: The result of the study showed that there is a direct relationship between premature telarche, pubarche and menarche and BMI > 85%. In conclusion, we want to confirm once again the existence of this relationship in children. It is necessary to observe the diet, eliminate physical inactivity in girls to prevent obesity and the development of this pathology, and in the future metabolic syndrome and PCOS. [11]
Conclusions: It was found in this study that the risk of developing PPD increases if a girl is obese of the 1st degree. It is necessary to continue studying girls with obesity of 2 and 3 degrees in order to obtain more information and discover the relationship between BMI and PPD. Lifestyle modification is recommended for younger children – restriction of sweet, fatty foods, the use of hard-to-digest carbohydrates, proteins, as well as the prevention of physical inactivity
Play And Psychosocial Development In Children Aged 3–7 Years
This study explores the influence of play in fostering a child’s psychosocial development based on Erikson’s theory of the Psychosocial Stages of Development. Specifically, it examines the impact of play on children\u27s development during the initiative vs. guilt and industry vs. inferiority stages. Using a mixed-methods approach, data were collected from 40 parents of children aged 3-7 years via the My Child\u27s Play (MCP) questionnaire, a modified version of the Modified Erikson Psychosocial Stage Inventory (MEPSI), and Kinetic Family Drawings (KFDs). The data were analysed using descriptive statistics, correlation matrices, and linear regression models. Results indicated moderate-to-strong positive correlations between psychosocial development stages and play performance, with themes of positive parent-child interactions, independence, goal-oriented play, and accomplishment emerging from the KFDs. The findings underscore the critical role of play in children\u27s psychosocial development and provide valuable insights for educators, parents, and policymakers. Future research should further explore these dynamics to enhance our understanding of play\u27s multifaceted benefits
