    Model-Making and Its Practices Improve Design Process for Beginners Students of Architecture &Product Desig

    The present paper has explained how the physical and CAD models could be useful in design projects for students studying degrees in architecture and product design. When it comes to a systematic design process, detailing and materialization and model-making steps are frequently ignored in design education. Detailing and materialization and modelmaking considerations are frequently disregarded in design education after something has undergone a careful design process. In order to create the appearance of completeness for potential clients, teachers typically instruct their students to concentrate on recognizing problems, coming up with creative design solutions, and conveying "nearly accomplished ideas" in the form of detailed and sophisticated depictions. This study also discusses the methodical approach to teaching design and practice in terms of choosing the finest models and prototypes. Students discovered that rather than models of the actual building, the findings of a survey, or the final design, both physical and CAD modeling environments have the ability to produce models for architecture. The authors also advocate keeping a strict approach to conceptual and imaginative development as well as a targeted cognitive approach through Model Making for researching design themes and then formulating solutions.&nbsp

    Rapid urbanization is driven by quality living aspirations, yet it has posed many challenges toward creating a sustainable built environment. One of the significant challenges is managing the enormous amount of waste created in the urban environment. The problem becomes more critical for cities like Patna (India), where infrastructure growth has not occurred concerning the growing population density. This paper is about exploring lean Thinking in Municipal Solid waste management to provide an efficient model that could manage the increasing quantity without scaling up the system. The study explores the applicability of Lean Principles in Municipal Solid Waste Management by identifying the Value Chain and creating flow within the system in Indian and Global contexts. Furthermore, it analyses the present condition of Municipal Solid Waste Management in the region of Patna Municipal Corporation, identifies its Value Stream and revenue generation potential. The study suggests suitable Lean suggestions for improving the present condition and revenue generation opportunities of Municipal Solid Waste Management in the area under the jurisdiction of Patna Municipal Corporation. This guides the path for introducing Lean management in the Municipal Solid Waste Management sector and improving the management capacity of ULBs with the optimum utilization of available resources. &nbsp

    Fabrication and evaluation of Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride Proniosomal Gel as a Vesicular Drug Delivery System

    The purpose of this research is to design proniosomal gel drug delivery system of oxymetazoline hydrochloride in a trial to overcome the adverse effects associated with oral administration of the drug. This can be overcome by the use of vesicular drug delivery system. Encapsulation of a drug in vesicular structure can be predicted to prolong the existence of the drug in the systemic circulation and thus enhance penetration into target tissue and reduce toxicity. Due to the limited solvent system present, the proniosomes formed were the mixture of many phases of liquid crystal, viz. lamellar, hexagonal and cubic phase liquid crystals. The potential of proniosomes as a transdermal drug delivery system of oxymetazoline hydrochloride was investigated by encapsulating the drug in various formulations of proniosomal gel composed of various ratios of sorbitan fatty acid esters, cholesterol, prepared by coacervation-phase separation method. The formulated systems were characterized in vitro for size, vesicle count, drug entrapment, drug release profiles and vesicular stability at different storage conditions. Stability studies for proniosomal gel were carried out for 4 weeks. The method of proniosome loading resulted in an encapsulation yield of 30.6 – 75.4%. In-vitro studies showed prolonged release of entrapped oxymetazoline hydrochloride. At refrigerated conditions, higher drug retention was observed. It is evident from this study that proniosomes are a promising prolonged delivery system for oxymetazoline hydrochloride and have reasonably good stability characteristics

    Exercise Capability with Total Body Fat Percent & Skeletal Muscle Percent in Male Students aged 18 - 25 Years: A Correlational Study

    Introduction: Obesity is considered the greatest health problem in the modern industrial world; the 5th leading risk factors; cause of death in 2004, according to World Health Organization (WHO). It is a medical condition where excess body fat, accumulated in body, exerts adverse effects on health, thus a negative factor for health and longevity in society. Objectives: To assess aerobic exercise performance; overweight and/or obesity, if any among the studied population and also to assess correlation between exercise capability with total body fat % and skeletal muscle % of the participants.  Methods: 118 male medical students (18- 25 years of age) were selected for the present study, based on the Inclusion and Exclusion criteria. In this study conducted for 1 year (12 months), Questionnaire method was followed, along with Stadiometer (for height), Weighing machine (for body weight), Mercury Sphygmomanometer and Stethoscope (for blood pressure), Karada scan machine (for total body fat and skeletal muscle %), Treadmill Test machine (for exercise capability including VO2 max and MET), ECG machine (for cardiac health assessment), Anthropometric measurements (for BMI, waist - hip ratio) etc were used. Data obtained were Statistically analyzed to check the level of significance. Results: Both VO2 max and MET exhibited significant negative correlation with body fat % and BMI, while a significant positive correlation was present with Skeletal muscle %. Similarly, endurance time or TMT showed a significant positive correlation with Skeletal muscle % and a significant negative correlation with both Body fat % and BMI. Significant positive correlation between MET and Skeletal muscle % were observed. Mean value of Body fat % and BMI were higher (statistically significant) in Overweight/Obese subgroup, while Skeletal muscle %, VO2 max, TMT and MET were more in normal BMI subgroup. Conclusion: The present study concludes that, decreased physical fitness along with excess body fat, leads to a decline in aerobic exercise capability. Low cardio-respiratory fitness in young adults with increased body fat could be a factor for developing cardiovascular co-morbidities later in middle age. Hence, this study is relevant in current scenario

    The importance of Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFRT) in Physiotherapy: A Review of Literature

    Blood Flow Restriction Treatment (BFRT) is a rehabilitation method that appears to generate improvements in hypertrophy comparable with heavy weightlifting. Despite its growing popularity, the extent to which BFRT has penetrated the physical therapy (PT) industry is unknown. The goal of this study was to evaluate PT\u27s knowledge of and usage of BFRT in clinical settings. The objective of this study was to determine the significance of BFRT in different medical situations and evaluate its therapeutic effects from a physiotherapeutic perspective. PubMed, ResearchGate, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Advanced Google Scholar, and Elsevier were used as research databases to locate relevant literature reviews. Ten publications were selected based on predetermined inclusion criteria; these studies collectively provided evidence supporting the efficacy of BFRT in the field of physiotherapy. There appear to be gaps between PT\u27s awareness of BFRT and its implementation in practice, although most of these professionals are willing to give it a shot. Most BFRT practitioners believe that the therapy is successful and plan to use it in the future. More education and training could improve the PT\u27s capacity to use BFRT, as well as possibly improve their long-term clinical outcomes

Through thorough experimentation and analysis, this study scrutinizes the predictive efficacy of the amalgamated model in comparison to conventional methods and standalone technical indicator analyses. The effectiveness of the proposed approach in foreseeing stock market movements is gauged utilizing performance indicators such as accuracy, precision, and recall. Furthermore, the study evaluates predictive performance metrics including Mean Squared Error (MSE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), and Mean Absolute Error (MAE), while also employing comparison methodologies against baseline models

    Ayurveda proposes three Doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha), seven Dhatus (Rasa, Rakta, Mamsa, Meda, Asthi ,Majja and Shukra) and three Malas (Purisha, Mutra and Sweda) as building elements of the body. The excellency or preponderance of Dhatus, qualitatively and quantitatively, has been described as Sarata of Dhatu. The concept of Sarata is greatly described by authors of ancient Ayurveda. The Sarata of all seven Dhatus, their physical, social and mental traits have been discussed by Acharyas of Ayurveda. Aims and Objectives: The present study chiefly aims for the review of concept of Asthi Sarata with special reference to cardiopulmonary efficiency. Material and Methods: review of concept from Samhitas, text books, previous works on AsthiSarata with reference to cardiopulmonary efficiency in the various forms like original research articles, oral presentations, theses and other published works etc. Observations and Results: The concept of Asthi Sarata also encompasses the concept of Bala. The words like “Mahotsaha”, “Kriyavantah” etc. are to be assessed with relation to physical fitness of the individual. Most of the articles have mentioned the various physical traits of Asthi Sarata with their association with cardio-respiratory endurance. Conclusion: Ayurveda deals with concept of Sarata of Dhatu, amongst which Asthi Sarata is one of the Sarata. The persons showing Asthi Sarata have been described to have various physical, mental and social traits. The physical traits described in Asthi Sarata may be assessed with cardiopulmonary efficiency which represents the physical fitness of the Asthi Sara person

The main objective of this study is to find out whether the account holders of Abdasa and Nakhatrana in the villeges rural area of Kutch district use various services offered by the banks. The purposive sampling method is Use for Sample. The data of the study was collected from primary and secondary sources. A total of 80 respondents have been selected from these 10 villages of Abdasa and Nakhatrana Talukas of Kachchh District. It was found that the various banking services such as issuing drafts, pension payments, grating loans, the level of service knowledge of the bank have been found to be lower among the people of Nakhatrana taluka compared to Abdasa taluk
