Scientific Publication Article Development Training for SMK Teachers
Get PDFThe purpose of implementing this community service is to provide information, knowledge, and equip teachers in arrange article ready scientific for published in journal scientific, grow atmosphere academic environment school so that could repair quality education and learning with to do activity study. The methods used in this activity include: (a) lectures or material delivery or information presentation for materials related to making scientific articles for publication, (b) questions and answers that provide opportunities for teachers to explore as much knowledge as possible about writing scientific articles, and (c) simulations to provide opportunities to practice the acquired training materials. The results of the implementation of community service can be felt by the community service team and participants. The training that has been carried out has gone well, smoothly in accordance with the goals to be achieved in this activity, and is very satisfying. The YPPD Vocational School teachers gain knowledge and experience sharing about techniques for writing scientific articles and publications to journals and also expect there will be assistance from FE UNJ lecturers in making articles so that they can be published in scientific journals. Optimizing of Library Management Based 5S Method (Case Study: Buluh Cina Village, Kampar District, Riau)
Get PDFThis community service activity aims to develop and improve library management using the 5S method and computerised system of books inventory to increase community literacy in Buluh Cina Village, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The optimal and efficient library, such as book collections, library users, facilities, infrastructure, and library management, can be appropriately managed based on the 5S method and book inventory-based computerisation. The 5S method (Seiri, Seiton, Seito, Seiketsu and Shitsuke) was adopted to organise library rooms by arranging bookshelves, catalogue cabinets, reading tables, and other equipment. By applying the 5S method, a more optimal inventory management system and book borrowing were obtained easily. The existence of this system makes it easier for officers to put back the books that have been read in their original place. Replacing books can be done quickly; the librarian only needs to input the book code, book data and shelf locations for storage displayed. The book was inventory-based computerised, which made it more accessible to detect the number of collections, the presence of books on storage shelves, a monitoring system for book borrowers, and additional collections. Therefore, the management and services of the library are optimal and lead to the visitors' satisfaction

No full textAs a form of improving the quality of Indonesian education and also graduating Islamic-based high school students, Al Azhar High School has a mission, namely one of them is for Al Azhar High School students to become religious beings and also have abilities and skills that can be applied directly to society. Steps that can be taken are to provide skills to be able to make innovative products made from natural ingredients, one of which is a body scrub made from coffee grounds typical of Lampung Province. Cosmetic product innovation was chosen because today both at the national and world level the development of the use of cosmetics is increasing, of course this is a great opportunity to start entrepreneurship. In addition, the use of coffee grounds also supports the main results of Lampung plantations which have an area of coffee plantations of around 156,458 ha in 2020, in order to produce secondary products that have higher economic value. The purpose of community service is to provide introduction, education, and train Al Azhar Bandarlampung High School students to make coffee-based cosmetic products, namely Becoffee Body Scrub. The specific target is to make students become pioneers in increasing MSMEs in the field of cosmetics specifically in exploiting the Natural Potential of Sumatra, especially in Lampung province, into cosmetic products

No full textCultivating vannamei shrimp has dominated fishery sectors and led to aquaculture development to enhance the Indonesian economy. Lumajang, specifically Bades Village, is one of the potential regions in Jawa Timur for improving fishery products because of its long shoreline of approximately 75km. Developing shrimp cultivation requires vast funds, intensive pond systems, and broad markets. Consequently, a large number of vannamei shrimp cultivation is controlled by a large company, which will supersede the role of traditional or local fishermen. This program utilizes two main methods: socializing about the opportunity of production, cultivation, and building a business entity of vannamei shrimp and practicing creating a small pond using geomembrane as a natural insulator. These activities intend to significantly increase the interest and enthusiasm of fishermen to develop vannamei small pond systems as a solution for economic independence and new income sources. This community service team intends to provide solutions to the above problems, namely in the form of family financial literacy training. The target of this empowerment is housewives whose economic status is lower middle class in Beji Village, Beji District, Depok City, West Java. The training material is presented in the form of material presentations by resource persons, followed by discussion. This community service activity proved to be able to provide an understanding of financial planning for the participants who were members of the Baitussalam Healthy and Fit Community in Beji Village, Depok City
Socialization and Technical Guidance of Road Specifications to Glodog Village Appliances, Palang District, Tuban Regency in the Framework of Village Road Development
Get PDFRoads are an indispensable infrastructure in supporting community economic activities, both in urban and rural areas. This community service activity was carried out with the aim of providing socialization and technical guidance on road specifications to the Glodog Village Government apparatus, Palang, Tuban East Java, in the context of village road construction. This theme was chosen because of the problem of proposing village roads to Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) who do not have the authority to handle them. The method used is to hold a face-to-face meeting followed by participants consisting of village government officials, the head of the BPD and community leaders in Glodog Village, Palang District, Tuban East Java. The results of the implementation of this community activity went quite smoothly, followed quite enthusiastically, and received a warm welcome because it provided very useful knowledge in the construction of village roads. To get more optimal benefits, it is recommended that further socialization activities involve elements of OPD and contractors so that all problems encountered can be solved in a directed and integrated manner
Implementation of Digital Marketing E-Commerce in Innovative Products of Processed Squid as a Business Opportunity in Lamu Village
Get PDFIt is commonplace that nowadays a housewife becomes a business actor and only deals with gadgets without having a physical store with only gadgets and knowledge of e- commerce to market her selling products. With the many benefits of using e-commerce, e-commerce training was carried out to market innovative products processed by squid as a business opportunity for fishermen housewives in Lamu village, Batudaa Pantai sub-district, Gorontalo Regency. The stages in this activity include observation and interviews, activity planning, implementation, and the output is a marketplace account that has been created by activity participants. The implementation of the activity was divided into 2 sessions, namely session 1 providing material related to the general description of e-commerce and session 2 conducting hands-on practice on creating a marketplace accompanied by a community service team. The e-commerce training by creating a marketplace account and selling processed squid products for fishermen housewives was successfully carried out and received great appreciation and enthusiasm from the participants and the government of Lamu village. This is a business opportunity for fishermen housewives as well as adding knowledge and insight for participants to use e-commerce in selling processed squid products
The Village Empowerment Through Circular and Green Economic Programs Through Independent Waste Management

This area is also the largest center of the tofu industry and essential oil from red lemongrass in DIY. Through the Community Service (Abdimas) program in collaboration with Rumah Maggot Barepan Bangkit (RMBB) and the Sereh Merah Farmer Group in the Integrated Community Service Program program with MBKM Based on IKU for Private Universities in 2022-2023 in collaboration with the Directorate of Research, Technology, and Community Service Kemdikbudristek, UST Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Pharmacy Duta Bangsa University, try to empower the community with circular and green economiy activities the waste becomes money. This activity aims to increase the capacity of the community to become an independent waste processing center, teaching the processing of lemongrass leaves into fertilizer, processing maggot into pellets, processing and packaging kasgot into fertilizer and planting media. This service is divided into three stages, taking place from 2022 - 2023. The activities are divided into three stages. The first stage is socialization of independent lemongrass waste management, introduction of soil improver factors, and processing maggot into pellets.The second stage is a workshop on making POC and biofertilizer made from lemongrass, processing maggot into pellets, processing kasgot into fertilizer and planting media.The third stage is practice and application, making biofertilizer, POC, and floating pellets in the two fostered communities. It is hoped that this service will create a circular economy where the community can manage waste independently, get benefits from waste management and economic turnover in the village. The method implemented is in the form of training with people who own land but it is not used optimally, as well as ornamental and fruit plant farmers. Research Data Processing Through Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) Method
Get PDFStructural Equation Modeling (SEM) is one type of multivariate analysis in the social sciences. Multivariate analysis is the application of statistical methods to analyze several research variables simultaneously. This community service activity was held and aimed at the academic community (lecturers and students) from partner campuses of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, they are FEB UHAMKA, STIE Indonesia, and Tempo Polytechnic with the aim of providing knowledge about research methodologies, especially the Structural Equation Modeling method (SEM) – Partial Least Squares (PLS) which has various advantages compared to other PLS software as described above. Another goal is expected to help improve the ability of the partner academic community in making scientific articles to be published in national and international journals. In addition, in this training, partners are also trained for hands-on practice using the Warp PLS Ver Software. 5.0. The method of implementing this community service activity is in the form of a workshop that includes providing material related to the SEM-PLS method as well as direct practice in using the WarpPLS software.
