Training of Operating Video Conference for Online Learning During Covid-19
Get PDFLecturers required to have more capabilities in using technology as a facilitate in doing instructional process. In Covid-19 era, Indonesian Government enforced all level of education to use online learning method to prevent the spread of the disease. This policy also applies to university level education. Online learning is the only possible chosen method to keep continue the learning process as a substitute of offline learning. Facing this situation, lecturers need to upgrade their skill in using some software application to support online learning method, especially skill in operating video conference software application. Need assessment result showed that only 40% lecturers have capability in operating video conference software application. This article aims to describe the utilization of technology as a supporting system in online learning especially using vide conference to facilitate instructional process. The author uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive model in which the data and exposure presented in this paper sourced from the training. Data collection is taken by interviewing and distributing questionnaires. A training of operating video conference application and using LMS for online learning was held for lecturers in Baturaja University. The result shows that participants feel satisfied and get benefit from the implementation of this training
Food Safety Education for Pregnant and Breastfeeding Mothers, Toddlers, Adolescents, and the Elderly
Get PDFQuality food products, halal, free from microbial and chemical contamination, and containing harmless ingredients are the criteria for food products that are suitable for consumption. Especially the use of food products for pregnant and lactating mothers, toddlers, and the elderly must be products that should not be careless. This food safety information can be obtained through education provided in community service activities. Community service activities are carried out by religious leaders and influential community leaders, namely PKK cadres in Ketitang Lor Village, Bojong District, PKK cadres in Sabarwangi Village, Kajen District, Aisyiyah Regional Leaders (PDA) Pekalongan Regency, Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Regional Leaders (PDNA) Pekalongan Regency. This activity is expected to provide an overview and knowledge about the safety of food products for pregnant and lactating mothers, toddlers, children, adolescents and the elderly. The implementation method used is to conduct Communication, Information, and Education (KIE) counseling with the lecture method and discussion. Assessment of knowledge improvement by giving pretest and posttest questionnaires. This activity provides an overview for participants to be able to inform pregnant, lactating mothers, foster parents of infants and adolescents, and the elderly to consume safe and healthy food. Participants are interested and cooperative in participating in the activities. Accompaniment in Managing Tofu Waste into Nuggets as an Efforts to Increase Income

This tofu dregs waste has not been used properly. In fact, if used properly, this tofu dregs can increase income as well as open up new fields for those who want to be entrepreneurs. In this service, the researcher offers an innovation from tofu dregs waste into nuggets. The Nugget innovations offered are not only made from tofu dregs, but also with a mixture of Moringa leaves, purslane leaves, carrots and eggs which are rich in vitamins and protein. The approach taken is the Asset Based Community-Driven Development (ABCD) approach by exploring several assets owned by the Pomahan Village community. This service assistance is carried out starting from the process of observing tofu production, utilizing tofu dregs, the nugget production process, packaging to marketing. The purpose of this assistance is proper waste management so that it can increase revenue through product innovation accompanied by the development of marketing strategies. If the innovation is applied, it can create the creative and innovative power of SMEs owners and the younger generation to become productive, innovative and environmental-loving Human Resources because they are able to optimally utilize Natural Resources on the basis of independence in order to create income and increase income

This program was carried out in 3 stages, handwashing soap manufacture training, production of products to be marketed, and organizational training. The output of this program is the creation of ready-to-sell products, business and marketing strategies, packaging that meets health standards. The development of village cooperatives for the welfare of cooperative members is also the output of this empowerment program. Partners in this service program are the Kasihan hamlet community who are members of the Harum Manis Cooperative. The choice of this partner was chosen because the problems that the community has in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic are very urgent to find a solution, and the Harum Manis has just started a business so that business programs are needed to develop. In order to achieve the success of this activity, material delivery, discussion and practical training, business and marketing training had been carried out. The Role of Psychoeducation in Raising Awareness About Gifted Children Towards Teachers
Get PDFCertain phenomena have been found within our target for Community Service activity of the Faculty of Psychology Education, the State University of Jakarta, which is taking place at SMPN 139, Jakarta. The issue that arose from the target school is despite being an inclusive school, the understanding among the teachers still lacks regarding particular special needs of students. The stigma said that Gifted children were considered an advantage; they thought Gifted children didn't need special treatment and managing adaptable programs to facilitate Gifted children. In fact, special need children even Gifted one still need to optimize their capacities with the proper program that could be managed by the school. In an effort to increase this awareness, teachers will be involved this community service, which includes several activities. Our program mainly focused on Psychoeducation in the form of webinars through material presentations, video, discussion. The result of the community Service program at SMPN 139 Jakarta showed the significant differences between the results before giving psychoeducation program, and after the program, it means there was an effect of providing Psychoeducation about gifted students to increase the awareness of teachers at SMPN 139 East Jakarta.Permasalahan yang muncul di lokasi yang menjadi target kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat Fakultas Pendidikan Psikologi Universitas Negeri Jakarta adalah di SMPN 139, Jakarta. Permasalahan yang ditemukan di sekolah ini yang merupakan salah satu sekolah inklusi adalah mengenai kurangnya pemahaman dan informasi guru-guru di SMPN 139, mengenai salah satu jenis kebutuhan khusus anak didik yang selama ini dinilai sebagai kelebihan yaitu Gifted. Kebutuhan khusus Gifted, selama ini dirasa tidak memerlukan penanganan dan program yang disesuaikan, sementara itu penanganan dan program yang tepat diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan kapasitas anak Gifted khususnya anak didik di SMPN 139, Jakarta. Jadi salah satu solusi pertama yang dilakukan untuk permasalahan ini adalah memberikan Psikoedukasi untuk meningkatkan Awareness mengenai Anak Gifted pada Guru-Guru Di SMPN 139, Jakarta.
Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk menciptakan sekolah inklusi yang lebih efektif dan efisien dalam menangani anak didik dengan kebutuhan khusus Gifted, serta mengetahui cara penanganan dan program yang paling tepat untuk diterapkan pada anak Gifted, sehingga anak Gifted dapat mengoptimalkan kapasitas yang dimiliki. Dalam mengupayakan peningkatan kesadaran tersebut, guru akan dilibatkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, yang mana terdapat beberapa kegiatan didalamnya. Kegiatan akan berupa psikoedukasi yang disampaikan dalam bentuk webinar melalui pemaparan materi, pemutaran video terkait ABK, serta tanya jawab terkait materi.
Hasil dari program Pengabdian Masyarakat di SMPN 139 Jakarta adalah terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara hasil sebelum pemberian psikoedukasi dengan setelah pemberian psikodukasi, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pemberian psikoedukasi mengenai siswa Gifted terhadap peningkatan awareness guru – guru SMPN 139 Jakarta Timu

The purpose of this Community Service is to empower community in Tonjong Village in the field of financial reporting by utilizing the financial application, namely Sistem Informasi Aplikasi Akuntansi Pencatatan Informasi Keuangan (SIAPIK). The benefits obtained from the implementation of this community empowerment are encouraging the maximization of the business units of the Tonjong Village community, especially BUMDes Kurnia Abadi through good financial reporting so that their business can operate in accordance with BUMDes values, namely Tariffs (Transparency, Accountability, Responsibility, Independence, and Fairness). The method used to empower residents of Bogor Regency, especially those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, is to prepare learning materials in the form of manual books and video tutorials on how to use the SIAPIK through simulation of company financial transactions that are similar like real conditions. Education Pillar As A Community-Based Prevention Stunting During Covid-19 Pandemic
Get PDFThe high prevalence of stunting and poor environmental health conditions at Bengkulu and Kupang City, baseline the need for assistance to families to provide education on Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS). Through the implementation of the CLTS module science and technology, the purpose is to foster and empower CLTS cadre groups as family companions to educate about the 5 pillars of CLTS by increasing family knowledge, attitudes, and actions in preventing and overcoming stunting. The target audience is 40 families in Bengkulu and 40 families in Kupang City. Community Service activities were preceded by socialization with local governments and health workers, followed by training and coaching of cadres, and family assistance activities, by providing CLTS sanitation education for 4 months through home visits, assessed once a month. The results show that cadre training is effective in increasing the knowledge and attitudes of cadres. Family assistance activities are effective in increasing family knowledge, attitudes, and actions about CLTS in stunting prevention. Partner problems that are prioritized to be resolved during the implementation of the Community Service Program are difficulties in marketing the products produced, lack of knowledge in financial management and limited ability in business management during the pandemic. Solutions that can be offered to solve partner problems are by providing counseling, training, and assistance in managing marketing, finance and application implementation with the output target in the form of a guidebook and the Trisakti Online Shop (TOS) application. The implementation of the activity is carried out using the Extension and Training method to convey all the materials needed and followed by mentoring so that participants can apply the material that has been obtained appropriately. The activities will be divided into 5 stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, the mentoring stage, evaluation, and the independent and sustainable stage. The results of the training show that there is an increase in knowledge by partners based on tests carried out before and after the training.Kelompok Wirausaha Bina Amanah Cordova merupakan sebuah lembaga yang memberikan pelajaran dan ketrampilan berwiraswasta yang diselenggarakan setiap tahunnya tanpa memungut biaya apapun kepada pesertanya.
