Processing of Corn Weevil and Elephant Grass (Pennisetum Purpureum) to Improve the Quality of Cattle Feed Production
Get PDFCows are one of the farm animals that are very popular with farmers. In the villages many people have cattle in their homes. Likewise with the Wono Asri 3 Farmer Group which also has several members who choose to become cattle breeders. Raising cattle is indeed very profitable, but farmers need to have skills and understanding in order to get these benefits. One of the things that needs to be considered in raising cows is feed. Cattle farmers have various types, including some who like to give forage feed (such as grass, weeds, and corn weevils) only, and some like to mix it with concentrate feed. Forage feed is relatively cheaper, but it requires more effort in providing it, while concentrate feed is easier to provide but the price is more expensive. This then affects the farmer's expenditure on feed preparations. Therefore, there is a need for new innovations so that farmers can provide feed at a lower price, but it is easy to provide and of course the quality of the products produced. The activities offered from this PkM are mentoring, and training on processing Corn Weevil and elephant grass (pennisetum purpureum) for members of the Wono Asri 3 Farmer Group. This activity aims to equip the knowledge and skills of processing Corn Weevil and elephant grass into quality animal feed. This activity will be carried out using various appropriate implementation methods such as deliberation, brainstorming, interviews, demonstrations and practices. The planned stages of activities are coordination of teams and partners, identification of target group learning needs including farm conditions and corn weevil processing equipment needed, planning activities involving target groups, training, and mentoring
Increasing Knowledge of Residents in Pinang Griya Permai Housing in Waste Management through Training of Organic and Anorganic Waste Recycling by the Teratai Waste Bank
Get PDFGarbage is currently still a problem for the community where there is a lack of knowledge of waste management properly. The waste bank is present as a solution to assist the government in reducing the accumulation of waste and helping to improve the economy of housewives, especially residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Bank Sampah Teratai (BST) is one of the social group organizations engaged in environmental economics, especially in managing household waste for residents of RW. 05 Pinang Griya Permai, Pinang - Tangerang. Bank Sampah Teratai located in Pinang Griya Permai Tangerang is a partner in this activity. Observation results show that Bank Sampah Teratai does not yet have adequate knowledge in waste management, both organic and inorganic. Based on the above problems, a community partnership program was formed with the academic community (lecturers and students) of Universitas Budi Luhur to help solve problems at the Bank Sampah Teratai. Based on these conditions, training on organic and inorganic waste management was carried out for residents of the Pinang Griya Permai housing. This training provides understanding, and appropriate skills, which help residents to carry out organic and inorganic waste management. Based on the results of the questionnaire after the training was carried out, 100% of participants stated that the material presented was in accordance with their needs, and the material presented was also considered good by 100% of the participants. The long-term result of this training is an increase in the understanding and skills of the residents to manage organic and inorganic waste. This training has been a useful contribution to improving skills for members of the Bank Sampah Teratai in particular, and skills for residents of Pinang Griya Permai housing in general.Garbage is currently still a problem for the community where there is a lack of knowledge of waste management properly. The results program was a form installation of solar energy bank 220 Voltage that can be used by fisherman. The society had used continuously which the product was a result by this program. This tool is very useful for fishing activities at sea at night because it is a lighting tool to replace the flashlights that fishermen have been using
Technology-Based Interactive Learning Media Training for Lecturers
Get PDFThe progress of ICT is closely related to teaching and learning activities in an educational institution. Coupled with the distance learning situation, the learning process must be interactive and attract students' interest in learning. To improve the quality of learning, lecturers need to present an innovative and interesting learning media. This community service activity is held to develop the ability of lecturers in teaching through Prezi and Canva media training. The activity was held by virtual zoom and was attended by 48 lecturers from Musi Rawas University, Malikussaleh University and STIEBI Prana Putra. This study uses qualitative methods to observe the object naturally. Participants' performance will be evaluated by pre- and post-tests. The post-test results show an increase in lecturers' skills in mastering Prezi and Canva media. The results of the satisfaction survey also showed that all participants were satisfied with this activity and expected similar activities to be held regularly

This existence is caused by religious values which are more emphasized in madrasas. In madrasa students are expected to be independent and achieve, in accordance with the slogan of the madrasa itself. Independent is meant to be able to know, recognize himself and then be able to develop himself. While the word 'achievement,' has the meaning of an effort from independence and proud performance. However, observations at the An-Nur Foundation found that further guidance was needed to shape the character of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students who were independent achievers. This research was conducted using the Community Based Research (CBR) method, which is a research conducted with the community in solving the problems they are experiencing. The emergence of CBR begins with the development of relationships between researchers and community organizations that jointly carry out research activities using scientific methods and community-based approaches. The results of this study are in the form of a pocketbook entitled Majmu>‘a>t al-Adhka>r wa al-S}alawa>t (A Collection of Remembrance and Salawat) which is a summary of a series of madrasa activities at the An-Nur Foundation. For this reason, the PKM program in Indonesia publishes scientific articles written by students, professors, and researchers to help them improve their writing skills. The purpose of PKK rt 4 in the role of savings and loans is to reduce the community's dependence on loan sharks and provide business capital to small sector businesses that are still in the context of rt 4. Therefore, this community service is carried out so that teachers can use applications like Canva and Camtasia optimally.
