    Business Model Canvas (BMC) Training to Support the Strengthening of Student Entrepreneurship

    The Indonesian government prioritizes policies aimed at fostering entrepreneurship across all segments of society. This initiative aims to promote the attainment of the sustainability development goals (SDGs), which have been introduced through various initiatives and are projected to be accomplished between 2015 and 2030. Entrepreneurship remains a less favored means of earning a living among certain Indonesians. Particularly among the youth, there is a prevalent belief that pursuing entrepreneurship is not their primary ambition or aim. The correlation between entrepreneurship and economic growth has been well-established. Consequently, studying entrepreneurship education becomes a compelling endeavor to foster entrepreneurship, particularly among aspiring entrepreneurs. The business model canvas (BMC), enables users to synchronize earnings with objectives, including environmental and social dimensions. The purpose of this training exercise was to establish the following objectives aree to enhance comprehension and effectively employ the Business Model Canvas (BMC) in the process of business planning, to enhance proficiency in creating BMC as a means of managing business plans and to promote the adoption of BMC as a solution to the business planning challenges faced by entrepreneurial students. The implementation of community service (PkM) aims to foster international collaboration between lecturers and students from UNJ and UMS.     Pocket money is an essential thing in the lives of Islamic boarding school students. The students use pocket money not only for basic needs but also for other things. However, in its use, it often needs to catch up to the target. This causes Islamic boarding school students to frequently need more pocket money before their parents send more money. With these problems, this community service activity focuses on being more effective and efficient in using pocket money. Using a control card system that makes it easier for students to know how to use their pocket money will also make it easier to plan their finances in the future. This control card can be adapted to the needs of each Islamic boarding school and can be accessed by both parties, students and parents.     Building Conservation Ranger Agent to Foster Mangrove Environmental Responsibility Using ABCD Approach

    Mangrove forests have an enormous role to play in environmental sustainability. Environmental pollution, especially plastic garbage trapped in mangrove roots, will damage the ecosystem. Awareness of the preservation of the mangrove forest ecosystem requires education from an early age. The empowerment activity aims to provide support to elementary school students who are in the coastal area on knowledge of the mangrove forest ecosystem as well as the management of garbage with the 3R system (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) in Surabaya. This adjacent uses the ABCD approach (Asset Based Community Development). The stages of this dedication are (1) discovery, (2) dream, (3) design, and (4) destiny. The ABCD method uses the assets that exist in the community to be better utilized in efforts to reach a shared vision. This community service program has provided benefits and had a positive impact on students. As a result of this community outreach, there has been a significant increase in students' knowledge of mangrove ecosystems and waste management with 3R systems. In addition, as many as 69% of students are willing to become mangrove forest conservation ranger and are committed to environmental sustainability

    This economic education activity for palm sap farmers aims to provide economic strengthening and build awareness among the public, especially palm sap farmers, that palm sap water can be utilized and made into several products with high economic value, for example bioethanol products. Apart from that, it can also minimize the negative impact of the production of alcoholic drinks made from palm sap in Lonuo village. This activity uses educational methods, socialization and community assistance for sugar palm sap farmers. Empowering sugar palm farmers through product diversification is the key to increasing the quality and quantity of sugar palm sap products into various marketable products such as bioethanol. This economic education activity for palm sap farmers has had a positive impact and response from the Lonuo village community. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the community in participating in activities at the village office. The community received education well and smoothly and increased public understanding regarding the use of palm sap into products of high economic value such as bioethanol

    Increasing Revisit Intention Through Interpretation Media Design in Gunung Wayang Agrotourism

    The purpose of this Community Partnership Program is to enhance the visitor experience at Gunung Wayang Agrotourism through the development of interpretation media. Interpretation connects visitors with attractions by providing essential information, particularly when direct communication is not feasible. Gunung Wayang Agrotourism, located in Gunung Endut Village, Sukabumi Regency,offers various facilities such as swimming pools, playgrounds, gazebos, coffee shops, exhibition stages, fruit gardens, traditional culinary experiences, and nature exploration. Despite its diverse attractions, the absence of effective interpretation media negatively affects visitor satisfaction, with approximately 40% of visitors expressing dissatisfaction due to limited informational tools, such as inadequate signage and information boards. The methods employed in this program include participatory and collaborative approaches, involving surveys, interviews, discussions, trials, and evaluations. The outcomes of the program include recommendations for improving interpretation facilities, such as creating a more detailed and visually informative 3D layout map and designing clearer directional signage to provide easy-to-follow guidance for visitors. These enhancements aim to improve visitors' understanding and enjoyment of the site, fostering a more engaging experience. With these improvements, it is anticipated that visitor satisfaction will increase, encouraging repeat visits and supporting the sustainable development of Gunung Wayang Agrotourism

    The Training on The Use of GeoGebra for Mathematics Teachers in Jayapura District

    This community service activity aims to provide an understanding of mathematical concepts in plane geometry material, create plane geometry material modules and tutorials in using the Geogebra application, explain and demonstrate and provide tutorials for the GeoGebra application, and provide assistance to partners in terms of mathematical concepts and their use with the application. GeoGebra. The stages used in this trial consist of 3 stages, namely: 1) Preparation stage, namely compiling training material 2) Implementation stage, this aims to determine the effect of GeoGebra-assisted learning on understanding mathematical concepts in the material 3) Final stage. The methods used to support the success of this program are in the form of training, demonstrations and exercises/practice or tutorials. This PKM activity went well where the teachers gained new knowledge and skills in using the GeoGebra application in the learning process. It is recommended for teachers to further explore the use of the GeoGebra application, because there are many other GeoGebra application displays such as geometric shapes, statistics, functions and graphs, differentials and others

    Workshop on Developing Gamification Teaching Materials to Enhance Students' Literacy and Numeracy

    This community development program was conducted at SMPN 1 Gedeg, Mojokerto, East Java, to enhance students' literacy and numeracy skills through the development of gamification-based teaching materials integrated with local wisdom. The project, funded by the Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology, aimed to address gaps in digital learning resources and improve teacher competence in creating engaging and effective teaching tools. The methodology involved three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. In the preparation stage, the needs of the school were identified through coordination with school administrators. The implementation phase included workshops and mentoring sessions, where teachers from both SMPN 1 Gedeg and affiliated schools were trained in developing digital learning materials using gamification techniques. Participants showed a significant increase in their knowledge and skills, as demonstrated by a 74.42% improvement in post-test scores. The evaluation phase revealed the program's effectiveness in improving both teachers’ digital competencies and students’ literacy and numeracy performance. However, challenges such as the technological proficiency of senior teachers were identified, highlighting areas for future improvements. Overall, this initiative successfully promoted innovative teaching practices aligned with the national curriculum

    Pasirtanjung village has many young people who have an essential role in the village. However, although the number of youths is quite large, the Karang Taruna in Pasirtanjung Village is still unable to function optimally because members are not active enough to contribute. Therefore, Karang Taruna does not function like a youth organization. Meanwhile, to make the organization function optimally (achieve its goals), it is necessary to have contributions from each member. Community service activities are designed to build a better village community, in this case, Karang Taruna. This activity resulted in a program to improve team building for youth organizations. This is done to strengthen teamwork, improve group performance, and increase emotional attachment between group members and trust between members. Moreover, it optimizes the role of Karang Taruna in achieving its goal as one of the community institutions that helps build the village. The first step in building team building is strengthening group cohesiveness within the youth organization.A series of programs were designed to improve team building: 1) providing materials, 2) training, and 3) Focus group discussions. These team-building activities have been proven to help improve group performance. Systematic team-building activities can increase emotional attachment between group members and trust between members. This series of activities can ultimately be measured through pretest-posttest measurements related to group cohesion. The results show that the understanding of youth regarding group cohesion in youth organizations has increased after being given training. The waste problem must be addressed and anticipated by all elements and stakeholders, because if it is not taken seriously then waste can cause various kinds of problems in the community. This community service activity was carried out at Madarasah Aliyah Darul Ulum in Mumbusari village. Objectively, the main problems faced by partners are 1) Do not understand in the technical details of good and correct waste management, 2) Do not have skills in using waste, 3) There is no product from waste basic materials that has use value and economic value. The methods used are socialization to increase understanding about waste management, workshops on utilizing waste into useful items, discussions, questions and answers as well as providing education, awareness and a caring attitude towards the environment (environmental education).     Development of Web-based Commerce Lapaksenggol.com as a Medium of Promotion and Marketing for SMEs in East Jakarta

    The situation during Covid-19 requires businesspeople to adapt to existing conditions and survive in an industry. It should be realized that not all SMEs have the same digital literacy, so it needs support from various parties to provide understanding and assistance to improve the skills of SMEs in utilizing digital platforms in business activities. The contribution of Lapaksenggol.com in community service activities to the Jakarta SMEs group (Jakpreneur), which is under the guidance of the East Jakarta Sub-Department of Trade, Industry, Cooperatives and SMEs is in its second year, where through this proposal, the team seeks to improve service quality by developing the service features of the Lapaksenggol.com website. The workshop was carried out for six months, starting from April to September 2022. Considering the Covid-19 pandemic, various activities will be implemented face-to-face (on the network) through Zoom. The results obtained from the socializations are the introduction of the Lapaksenggol.com marketplace and provided understanding to SMEs about the importance of doing social media advertising, managing finances in business activities, and introducing the SIAPIK application to support the business activities of SMEs in East Jakarta
