    Empowering Women Entrepreneurs' Good Health and Well-Being through Education and Access to Quality Healthcare

    Nowadays, business opportunities are wide open, including for women who are usually marginalized. Being a female entrepreneur certainly has its own challenges. The challenges will be even greater if women also act as wives and mothers. PPUMI Women's community, often face the problems that women with multiple roles have difficulty finding balance in dividing their time between work, family and themselves. Often their mental and physical health is disturbed. In fact, to increase one's capabilities so that one can carry out tasks with various roles carried out in social life, awareness is needed to care for and maintain one's own sanity. Therefore, the UNJ Community Service team aims to holding seminars and online consultations regarding women's empowerment so that they can grow their mental and mental capacity in balancing multiple or more roles in social life in society. The invited speakers are expert speakers who have experienced similar problems but have succeeded in growing their capacity and ability to deal with them with total number of participants are more than 30. We hope that the target partners for this community service can experience the same thing and continue to grow

    Community Empowerment Through the Enhancement of Entrepreneurship in the Production of Lotion and Mosquito Spray for Dengue Fever in Sukmajaya, Depok

    Dengue fever has become one of the endemic diseases in the Sukmajaya area of Depok. This disease can claim the lives of up to 10% of those affected. Community empowerment, particularly through the empowerment of PKK groups. This community service aims to increase the community's ability to prevent the spread of the Aedes aegypti mosquito through empowering the PKK group community. It can prevent the spread of mosquitoes by introducing natural materials as mosquito repellents and creating lotion and spray products as alternative solutions. The program involves training and assistance in producing lotions and sprays using natural ingredients. Using essential oils as raw materials, along with marketing techniques, can be a solution to address this issue. The Community Service Team of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Science (FFS) UHAMKA and the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UHAMKA provided comprehensive training and guidance in the pharmacy skills program. Participants were instructed on creating lotion and mosquito repellent spray formulations using natural ingredients, including orange leaf extract, orange oil, lavender oil, and clove oil. The training consisted of lectures followed by a hands-on workshop on entrepreneurship, focusing on the importance of selecting appropriate packaging and promoting the products effectively. Participants are very enthusiastic about acquiring this skill because it enhances the capabilities of PKK administrators in utilizing natural materials in forms that will later boost the spirit of entrepreneurship and help prevent dengue fever

    This community service program aimed to raise awareness among housewives about their roles in household management, with a particular focus on financial responsibilities. Utilizing a lecture-based methodology that integrates humanist and theocentric perspectives, the program emphasized that women should not bear sole responsibility for managing household finances. The initiative also incorporated brain exercises to enhance memory, serving as a tool for recording and retaining important household information. These exercises were designed to improve cognitive function while also promoting emotional well- being, highlighting that true peace (sakinah) in the home stems not from material wealth but from spiritual fulfillment and trust in God. Additionally, the program addressed the growing concerns surrounding online financial risks, such as digital loans and online gambling, educating participants on how these threats could deplete household assets. Ultimately, the program aimed to equip housewives with the knowledge and tools to manage household finances effectively, while fostering a balanced approach that integrates cognitive, emotional, and spiritual health, thus contributing to a harmonious and financially secure family life

    This community engagement initiative focuses on enhancing the promotional strategies of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) associated with Karang Taruna in Jayamukti Village, aimed at bolstering their visibility and competitiveness in the digital market. Addressing the limited social media presence and promotional skills of these MSMEs, the program introduces targeted training on social media management, content creation, and audience engagement techniques. Using a structured method that combines workshops, hands-on assistance, and mentorship, participants develop skills in producing visually appealing and relevant content for platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Initial results indicate a significant improvement in participants' understanding and application of social media tools, setting a foundation for increased market reach and economic impact on the local community. Future stages of the program will focus on advanced analytics and sustainable promotion strategies, ensuring long-term benefits and self- sufficiency for the MSMEs involved

    DIGITAL CREATIVE ECONOMY WORKSHOP: BUILDING CAREERS AND MONETIZATION IN THE DIGITAL ERA

    This study presents the outcomes of the Digital Creative Economy Workshop, designed to equip senior high school Economics teachers in Jakarta with essential skills for navigating the digital economy. Held on June 18, 2025, the workshop trained 45 teachers from 10 schools on digital literacy, AI-based learning tools, and digital monetization strategies. Using a structured approach of training and evaluation, participants engaged with platforms like Eduaide and Magic School. Pre- and post-test results showed marked improvements across all learning areas: understanding of the digital creative economy rose from 3.2 to 4.4, AI tool utilization from 3.1 to 4.3, and digital monetization knowledge from 3.0 to 4.1. The workshop successfully enhanced teachers’ readiness to integrate digital technologies in Economics education, supporting Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education). Continued professional development and infrastructure support are recommended to sustain these advancement

    STRATEGY FOR IMPROVING LEMONGRASS AGRICULTURE BASED ON SMART FARMING IN JATIJEJER VILLAGE

    Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) and citronella (Cymbopogon nardus L.) are flagship crops cultivated by farmers in Jatijejer Village. Lemongrass is commonly used as a culinary spice, while citronella is widely utilized for producing essential oil rich in citronellal, geraniol, and citronellol. The essential oil from citronella has high economic value due to its applications in the cosmetics and health industries. This community service activity aims to enhance local farmers' understanding and skills in proper lemongrass cultivation and the potential processing of essential oils as value-added products. The program focuses on strategies to optimize agricultural potential using proper cultivation techniques with organic farming systems based on smart farming technology. Farmers were educated on the stages of lemongrass cultivation, including land preparation, planting, crop maintenance, fertilization, pest and disease control, as well as harvesting and post-harvest handling. Participants were given pre-tests and post-tests to assess their understanding. The test results showed a significant improvement in participants' comprehension of proper lemongrass cultivation using smart farming methods, as well as the benefits and processing of essential oils. This activity successfully raised awareness of the importance of innovation in the agricultural sector and laid the foundation for the development of local businesses based on natural resources

    DIGITAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP EMPOWERMENT OF VOCATIONAL STUDENTS VIA DROPSHIPPING AND PRINT ON DEMAND IN THE DIGITAL AGE

    This community development initiative aimed to empower 50 students at SMK Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung through digital entrepreneurship training, specifically leveraging dropshipping and print on demand (POD) business models to enhance their economic adaptability in the digital era. The project employed a structured methodology comprising workshops, hands on technical training, and continuous mentoring sessions focused on platform utilization, product sourcing, design customization, digital marketing, and order fulfillment. Pre and post intervention assessments revealed significant improvements in participants digital literacy, entrepreneurial skills, and business operational competencies. Results demonstrated that 86% of students successfully established functional online stores, with 72% generating initial revenue within three month post-training. Additionally, participant surveys indicated a 95% increase in self efficacy regarding digital venture management and a strong intention to pursue entrepreneurship post-graduation. The initiative underscores the efficacy of targeted skill building in fostering youth economic resilience and reducing barriers to digital market entry

    TRAINING IN MAKING SOYA MILK TO INCREASE THE ENTREPRENEURIAL MOTIVATION OF SEKOLAH INDONESIA JEDDAH (SIJ) STUDENTS

    In an increasingly competitive era, students need to be equipped not only with formal education, but also practical skills that can support their independence in the future. One skill that is relevant and has economic value is the ability to produce products that have market prospects, such as soya milk. The purpose of writing this research is to find out how the training process of making soymilk and calculating the selling price, and how the participants respond to the training activities. The methods used were lectures, questions and answers and demonstrations. The results showed 1) the implementation of the training began with the provision of basic materials related to soymilk processing, and then the practice of making soymilk together. Before the training, participants were given a pre-test first. The pre-test provided an overview of the extent of participants' understanding or skills before starting the program. There was an increase in understanding from before and after the training, and 2) in the participants' response to the activities, in general the participants responded well, all indicators were generally in the good and excellent categories. With this training, students are expected to not only be able to produce quality soymilk, but also have the motivation and confidence to try small business opportunities.Dalam era yang semakin kompetitif, siswa perlu dibekali tidak hanya dengan pendidikan formal, tetapi juga keterampilan praktis yang dapat menunjang kemandirian mereka di masa depan. Salah satu keterampilan yang relevan dan memiliki nilai ekonomis adalah kemampuan untuk memproduksi produk yang memiliki prospek pasar, seperti susu kedelai. Adapun tujuan penulisan penelitian ini adalah untuk  mengetahui bagaimana proses pelatihan pembuatan susu kedelai dan perhitungan harga jual, dan bagaimana respon peserta terhadap kegiatan pelatihan. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, tanya jawab dan demonstrasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) pelaksanaan pelatihan diawali dengan pemberian materi dasar terkait pengolahan susu kedelai, baru setelahnya praktik membuat susu kedelai secara bersama-sama. Sebelum pelatihan, peserta diberikan pre- test terlebih dahulu. Pre-test memberikan gambaran tentang sejauh mana pemahaman atau keterampilan peserta sebelum memulai program. Terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dari sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan, dan 2) pada respon peserta terhadap kegiatan, secara umum peserta merespon dengan baik, hal ini dapat dilihat bahwa semua indikator umumnya berada pada kategori baik dan baik sekali. Dengan pelatihan ini, siswa diharapkan tidak hanya mampu memproduksi susu kedelai berkualitas, tetapi juga memiliki motivasi dan percaya diri untuk mencoba peluang bisnis kecil

    BASIC PYTHON PROGRAMMING TRAINING TO ENHANCE DIGITAL LITERACY AMONG STUDENTS AT SMA WACHID HASYIM 2 SIDOARJO

    Improving digital literacy among students has become one of the main focuses of the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Programming skills must be mastered to prepare young generations to face global challenges. This community service aims to enhance the digital literacy of students at SMA Wachid Hasyim 2 Sidoarjo by introducing and applying basic Python programming. The method used is Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), which leverages existing school assets and involves active student participation in the learning process. This training was attended by twelfth-grade students interested in technology and digital skill development. Evaluation results indicate a significant improvement in students' understanding of programming, with the average pretest score increasing from 64.86 to 96.22 after the training. To ensure the continuity of learning, the service team established a coding community as a platform for students who wish to explore programming further. This community aims to develop collaboration and communication skills among students. The program successfully empowered students created a positive learning environment, and demonstrated promising potential for their skill development in programming.Meningkatkan literasi digital siswa menjadi salah satu fokus penting di era Revolusi Industri Keempat. Untuk mempersiapkan generasi muda menghadapi tantangan global, keterampilan pemrograman menjadi salah satu kemampuan yang harus dikuasai. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital siswa SMA Wachid Hasyim 2 Sidoarjo melalui pengenalan dan pelatihan dasar-dasar pemrograman Python. Dengan keterampilan ini, siswa diharapkan mampu memahami logika pemrograman, mengasah kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan menciptakan solusi berbasis teknologi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan mereka. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). Pendekatan ini memanfaatkan aset-aset yang sudah dimiliki sekolah, seperti fasilitas laboratorium komputer, serta melibatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Selama pelatihan, siswa belajar secara interaktif melalui teori dan praktik langsung menggunakan Python. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada pemahaman siswa tentang pemrograman. Berdasarkan evaluasi, rata-rata skor pretest siswa yang semula 64,86 meningkat menjadi 96,22 setelah pelatihan. Selain itu, untuk mendukung keberlanjutan pembelajaran, tim pengabdian membentuk komunitas pemrograman di sekolah. Komunitas ini menjadi wadah untuk siswa yang ingin memperdalam keterampilan mereka sekaligus mengembangkan kemampuan kolaborasi dan komunikasi. Program ini berhasil mencapai tujuan utamanya, yakni memberdayakan siswa dalam meningkatkan literasi digital, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, dan membuka peluang baru bagi pengembangan keterampilan pemrograman di masa depan

    PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE TO IMPROVE THE ECONOMY OF MSMES IN SUGIHMUKTI VILLAGE, PASIRJAMBU DISTRICT

    In Sugihmukti Village, Pasirjambu District, the majority of the community relies on agriculture, plantations, and home-based businesses that produce various local products, including processed foods, traditional beverages, and handicrafts. This potential should be able to drive the village's economy; however, in practice, there are still various obstacles. Therefore, assistance in product development is needed to enhance the economy of MSMEs in Sugihmukti Village. The method used in this service is Oriented-Project Planning (OPP), where the implementation of the service focuses on planning development and executing programs to achieve specific goals. The stages of implementation in this service include the stages of socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, evaluation, and program sustainability. The results of the activities indicate that this program successfully enhanced the capacity of business actors through training, technology application, and more effective marketing strategies, resulting in products that are more innovative, of higher quality, and competitive; the positive impacts are evident from the increased market opportunities, strengthened cooperation networks, and the commitment to program sustainability that supports the continuous economic growth of the village
