    THE EFFECT OF FIRM PERFORMANCE, LEVERAGE, FIRM SIZE, AND FIRM GROWTH ON AGENCY COST OF TRADING COMPANY IN INDONESIA, MALAYSIA, AND THAILAND: RESEARCH PERIOD OF 2009 – 2013

    In this study,the author investigate the relationship of firm performance, leverage, firm size, and firm growth on the agency cost. In the company’s life, there are several holders an important role in the company itself. Agency theory explains that there are two parties to a company, the agent and principal.Researcher use firm performance, leverage, firm size, and firm growth as the independent variables. Researcher use the operational expenses ratio as proxy of agency cost. The high firm performance, expected to leads the lower agency cost.Researcher use the 19 listed trading firm on Indonesia, 26 listed trading firm on Malaysia, and 29 listed trading firm on Thailand. The empirical result show varying effect on agency cost in those three countries.     PENGARUH KEPUASAN KERJA DAN IKLIM ORGANISASI TERHADAP ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR (OCB) KARYAWAN PADA PT. TRUBUS SWADAYA DEPOK

    The purpose of the research are: 1) To know description for job satisfaction, organization climate, and OCB at PT. Trubus Swadaya. 2) Test empirically influence of job satisfaction towards OCB at PT. Trubus Swadaya. 3) Test empirically influence of organization climate towards OCB at PT. Trubus swadaya. 4) Test empirically influence of job satisfaction and organization climate towards OCB at PT. Trubus Swadaya. The analysis implemented in this research are simple regression and multiple regression analysis. The method of this research is simple random sampling, that taken 59 employees, while data collecting by using quitionaire and cultivated using SPSS 16.0. The result of t test for job satisfaction is 2.386, and the signification is 0.020. This shows that there is an effect between job satisfaction towards OCB. The result of t test for organization climate is 2.288, and the signification is 0.026. This shows that there is an effect between organization climate towards OCB. The result of F test is 5.196, and the signification is 0.009. This shows that there is an effect between job satisfaction and organization climate towards OCB. The result of R2 is 0.157 or 15.7%. It means OCB is affected by job satisfaction and organization climate as much as 15.7%. Keywords: job satisfaction, organization climate, OC

    PERBANDINGAN KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH MERGER DAN AKUISISI (PADA PERUSAHAAN PENGAKUISISI YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA PERIODE 2004-2006)

    The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in the financial performance of the acquirer pre and post mergers and acquisitions. Financial performance is measured with some ratios, Current Ratio (CR), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), Debt Ratio (DR), Return on Assets (ROA), and Price Earnings Ratio (PER). Population of this study included all public company which conducted merger and acquisition(M & A) activity in the period 2004-2006. The samples were 10 companies that were taken by purposive sampling method. Analysis of the data used to test hypotheses using Paired Sample t-Test. Empirical results shows that there are no significant difference for DR and TATO in testing 1 year before and 1 year after M & A up to 1 year before and 5 years after M & A. However, CR shows significant difference in test 1 year before with 2, 4, and 5 years after M & A; ROA shows significant difference in test 1 year before with 4 years after M & A; then PER shows significant difference in test 1 year before with 3 years after M & A.     PENGARUH KEPUASAN KERJA DAN STRES KERJA TERHADAP TURNOVER INTENTION PADA KARYAWAN PT. UNITEX DI BOGOR

    The purpose of this research are: 1) To analyze the influence of job satisfaction on employees turnover intention at PT. Unitex. 2) To analyze the influence of job stress on employees turnover intention at PT. Unitex. 3) To analyze the influence of job satisfaction and job stress simultaneously on employees turnover intention at PT. Unitex. The analysis method in this research using a simple linear and linear multiple regression. Sample of the research is 98 employees using simple random sampling. The techniques of data collection was done by distributing questionnaires and cultivated by using SPSS 16.00. t test result on job satisfaction variable is -5.412, with a significance value of 0.000. It means job satisfaction has a significant influence on turnover intention. t test result on job stress variable is 7.353 with a significance value of 0.000. It means job stress have significant influence on turnover intention. F test result is 39.037, it means job satisfaction and job stress has a significant influence on turnover intention. Determination coefficient score (R2) for X1 and X2 is 0.451, it means turnover intention can be influenced by job satisfaction and job stress around 45,1%, then other factors around 54,9%. Linear regression formula for hypotheses 1 is Y = 55.937 – 0.191 X1. Linear regression formula for hypotheses 2 is Y = 23.370 + 0.408 X2. Multiple regression formula for hypotheses 3 is Y = 36.323 – 0.126 X1 + 0.336 X2. Key word : job satisfaction, job stress, turnover intention

    THE INFLUENCE OF COMPENSATION, MOTIVATION, AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT ON EMPLOYEES JOB SATISFACTION AT PT NIKKO CAHAYA ELECTRIC

    The purpose of this study were: 1) To know the description of compensation, motivation, career development and job satisfaction of employees at PTNikko Cahaya Electric, 2) To determine whether there is influence between compensation on job satisfaction of employees at PT Nikko Cahaya Electric, 3) To determine whether there is influence between motivation on employee job satisfaction at PT Nikko Cahaya Electric, 4) To determine whether there is influence between career development on employee job satisfaction at PT Nikko Cahaya Electric, 5) To determine whether there is influence between compensation, motivation and career development together on job satisfaction of employees at PTNikko Cahaya Electric, and 6) To know how much contribution of compensation, motivation and career development on employee job satisfaction at PT Nikko Cahaya Electric. The sample of this research are 60 employees of PTNikko Cahaya Electric. Research data retrieval by survey method with questionnaires and the data processed with SPSS version 20. This research using descriptive and explanatory analysis. The results of regression showed that there is positive and significant correlation between compensation on job satisfaction,there is positive and significant correlation between motivation on job satisfaction, there is positive and significant correlation between career development on job satisfaction. Compensation, motivation and career development simultaneously have positive and significant impact on job satisfaction.   Keywords: Compensation, Motivation, Career Development, Job Satisfactio

    THE IMPACT OF LEADERSHIP STYLE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT TO EMPLOYEE’S JOB SATISFACTION WITH ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AS MODERATING VARIABLE AT BALAI KESEHATAN PENERBANGAN JAKARTA

    The research aims to analyze the impact of leadership style and work environment to employee’s job satisfaction with organizational culture as moderating variable at balai kesehatan penerbangan Jakarta. the research used quantitative method. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling-partial least square. 84 public services were used as samples, but 78 samples were given questionaire back. The research revealed that: a) leadership style has impact on work environment (0,549); b) leadership style influences significantly to organizational culture (0,454); c) work environment doesnot have impact on organizational culture (0,161); d) organizational culture has strong relation to job satisfaction (0,840); e) leadership style has not effect on job satisfaction (0,038); f) work environment has not influence on job satisfaction (0,037); g) throught organizational culture, leadership style hassignificant effect on job satisfaction (0,660); and h) throught organizational culture, work environment has not siginificant effect on job satisfaction (0,129)

    THE EFFECT OF TRUST AND BRAND IMAGE ON PURCHASE DECISION (TOYOTA CAR SURVEY IN JAKARTA REGION)

    The purpose of this research is to know: 1) influence of confidence to Toyota Agya car purchase decision in Jakarta area, and 2) influence of brand image to Toyota Agya car purchase decision in Jakarta area. The object of this research is 200 respondents of Toyota Agya car users in Jakarta area. Methods of data collection using survey method. Data analysis using SPSS 22. Descriptive test results explain that there is still a lack of trust and brand image in Toyota Agya car in the Jakarta area causing the lack of consumer response to make purchasing decisions. The result of hypothesis testing shows: 1) existence of positive and significant influence of trust toward purchasing decision, 2) existence of positive and significant influence from brand image to purchasing decision

    The main purposes of this research is to test the influence of dividend policy, debt policy and profitability toward corporate value by considering good corporate governance as control variable. This research uses manufacturing companies population that listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange with the observation period 2005-2010. Data collection method used purposive sampling method. The amount of sample using 78 samples. This research is tested with SPSS aplication. This research use ordinary least square method indicate that dividend policy has a positif but not significant on corporate value, debt policy has positif but not significant on corporate value, and profitability has positif significant. Furthermore, this research using insider ownership as control variable that only can changes one independent variable, there is: coefficient of debt policy to corporate value. So, debt policy has negatif but not significant on corporate value. Simultanously, variable of DPR, DER and ROE has significant effect to PBV and with insider ownership as control variable, variable of DPR, DER, ROE and insider ownership has significant effect to PBV.     The purpose of the research are to: 1) Test empirically influence of working motivation on performance employee, 2) Test empirically influence of working ability on performance employee, 3) Test empirically influence of working discipline on performance employee, 4) Test empirically influence of working motivation, ability, discipline on performance employee. This study used multiple regression analysis. The research was conducted in Sales and Marketing Department of PT Pionirbeton Industry with population of 43 workers, while the data collecting technique used questionnaire and SPSS version 20.0 for data processing. The result show a significant influence of working motivation on performance employee, working ability on performance employee, working discipline on performance employee.
